Some of you may have seen that I'm taking a hiatus from RPing on forums. I don't know when I'll be back or if I will be at all. BUT. I was looking at this thread and I'd be really upset to leave it. Music and singing is a very personal thing to me. It was my dream to take on the stage one day, but then I had an accident and I'm no longer physically capable of doing stage work at all. So, you could say that I'm kinda living vicariously through this amazing RP. Not to mention that I love the group that's in this RP. <3

If you'll have me, I'd like to stay on this one RP during my hiatus.

It's been four long years of RPing on this site for me. And I've loved every second of it. But I need a breather. So much is going on that doing this is starting to feel like a job and not a hobby (and I'm not even talking about the battle to make posts count in the RP section). So I'm going on hiatus from forum RPs (that includes those on my own forum).

I don't wanna talk about why, or whine and complain that I'm overwhelmed, or rant about how upset I am to have to do this.

    ABOUT RPs:
Mine are on hiatus with me. When I come back, Harry Potter (The Years to Come) and Final Fantasy (Black Gold) are moving to my own forum. If you want to stay in those, please talk to me.
If I'm in one of your RPs, do whatever you wish with my character. I'll probably be dropping out if I ever come back anyway.

    'Kay.
I'm gone. I'll be back whenever.

Rae lay on her stomach, under the bed, trembling with her hands over her head. Her body still felt like a chunk of lead, though she was starting to process thing with a little more clarity. She remembered the SOLDIER who'd stepped into the room and the feeling of fear, but he'd left and the fear with him. But when she thought she was safe, Caleigh's home shook with explosions. The walls were cracked and crumbling; the structure threatened to collapse completely. But Rae couldn't summon the will to get to her feet and run outside, so she's dragged herself under the bed and shut her eyes tight. The sounds and the feelings brought a rush of memories of Kalm back to her.

Thyella gave her brother's hand two quick squeezes, her signal to him that she was going to stop trying to see. He reciprocated with one quick squeeze and took his hand away to put his arm around her shoulders. To others, it would appear as a simple, single-armed hug between twins. Anemos felt the small flow of air coming from his sister stop. He was glad she was resting.

Logan flinched from Cyclops's tone. He'd seen the mutant angry before, but there was a different kind of anger present now -- a protective anger. Logan shrugged, drawing a cigar. He didn't like how Cyclops claimed the X-Men as his own. Logan wasn't entirely set on becoming the leader, he didn't really care, but the idea of Scott in charge bothered him.
"Fine. Get the kids back to their play-pen. The big man wants to talk to us about something."

Lyrth started at the sudden disappearance of his sword. "Wh-wha...?" He looked to Merik and his jaw dropped. He was nervous; he still was no good at riding, even with a saddle, and he and Styrke had yet to fully understand each other, let alone do any kind of linking of anything. While Lyrth worried his little head off, Styrke stood and shook himself, stretching his still-growing wings. He was small enough that he didn't disturb anyone else in the clearing.
"Let's go!!" The young dragon cheered to his rider. "Hop on! We'll get your sword back before anyone else gets theirs! Hurry up! Why are you just standing there like an idiot? Lyrth! C'mon!"

"No!" Blue raged his reply to the too-often-asked question, shaking the bars to his own cell.

"W-we can't... do anything!" Red was on the ground with Vio, his back being pat by the latter. He was starting to get panicky. The only thing giving him comfort was being with the Links he referred to his as his 'brothers.' If they were all in different cells, Red would be in pieces.

"Don't worry," Green tried to calm the sensitive one. His sense and burden of being their 'leader' made him feel guilty for the whole mess. He needed to find a way out. If only there was some way that every Link in that place could work together. But he and his brothers were the only ones who could physically interact. "We'll get out of this."

"Don't lie to him!" Blue turned on Green, his fists balled in anger. "Unless you've come up with something, we're stuck here! There is no way out!"

Vio cleared his throat, holding Red in an one-armed hug to stop him from crying. "I have an idea."

"I did think. I just thought like a Quint and not a Ravenclaw," Lelouch smirked and flicked his wand at the case. "Geminio." A replica of the Map appeared in the case, perfectly in place and detailed. "I don't know about a spy, but that's what I would do." He spun his wand and put it back in his pocket.

Al turned to disapprovingly look at Jay. "I know what music is! I listen to stuff sometimes."

Ben picked up a couple of CDs and shuffled through them. It was a tough choice, but he settled on one and put it in the player.

"C'mon, keep walking! You're gonna make us late!" Styrke urged Lyrth along. He was the only one of the two excited to start real lessons. He wanted to meet everyone and show them all how great he was. His black scales didn't reflect much of the sunlight that leaked through the trees. Lyrth walked next to him, arms folded out of insecurity. He just nodded to his dragon and tried a smile. He needed to be more confident like Styrke was. But he just didn't know how. "Don't be all gloomy!" Styrke nudged Lyrth's shoulder with his nose, making the young man stumble. "We'll get there first and make a good impression." The dragon had a small skip in his step.

"Alright, alright. Just don't go showboating, ok? I really don't want to draw us any attention," Lyrth put his hand on Styrke's neck to try to get the dragon to calm down. They came to a mostly cleared space and were actually first. Lyrth's heart sunk. Being first meant having the attention on him, and he wasn't ready for that. He stayed close to Skyrke, his hand still on the warm scales of the small dragon's neck. His dark brown eyes were locked on the elf and dragon before him, but Styrke's own red ones were darting all over the place as he tried to take everything in.

"Coffee shop?" Wally suggested, rubbing the back of his head. He didn't really know what he was doing. He'd never really spent much time with Jesse anyway so he didn't know what she liked. But girls liked coffee shops, right? It was a safe bet.

Terra stopped a safe distance away from the Red Hood. She noticed the dead-end and the two fire-escapes. Getting away was an option -- she could climb either of the fire-escapes or raise the earth -- but then, what was the point of coming?
"Alright," the yellow glow returned to her hands and she widened her stance. "What was up with that knife back there?"

"Were you even paying attention to you students? Or were you showboating?" Logan's tone was accusatory to Cyclops. He probably would have been doing the same thing, but if he was there, he would have smelled the Brotherhood coming.

Thyella took her brother's hand. The tension between Logan's remark created was palpable in the air. She wasn't sure if the two were always like this or why they were now; but, for a moment, she was glad she couldn't see their faces.

Here’s what you missed on “The Years to Come:â€

So Jay’s trying to get Al to relax a bit more but she’s just focused on her potions work and her missing friend, Becca. Jay found Al by the owlery after classes where she was about to send a letter, but ended up not having the guts. He dragged her inside and they found the Room of Requirement – an awesome place that turned into just what they wanted to relax.
The tension between Jack and Taralynn is growing as they’re creating their plans for how to make the school in their crazy vision. Taralynn wanted to get inside Jack’s head more so she came up with a game where they tell each other secrets. Jack ended up confessing that he’s used and Unforgivable curse to kill someone, and for some reason he liked it. Taralynn wasn’t creeped out by this but she said that she thought an Unforgivable curse was the easy way out. What a nut.
Ben was wandering the halls alone, being the sad little first year he is, and found the Room of Requirement. With his addition to the Room, a few Muggle things appeared. Al told Ben he should stay with them in the Room ‘cause he looked like a kid. Jay thought it was awesome that Al was willing to relax with the kid. Maybe something would come of the trio’s time together in the Room?
Meanwhile, the Quints met Lelouch in the Great Hall and Elysia told them all that she had something super exciting and crazy to show them all. Lelouch, Luke, and Iris agreed to go see it to calm their sister and because they all were excited too. With the four, trouble-making siblings together, they made their way to the third floor and suck to a portrait of Albus Dumbledore, where Lelouch geeked out. The passage behind the portrait led them to the Headmaster’s office where they commandeered the Marauder’s Map.
In the Great Hall, Amus and So discussed the possibility of the Chamber of Secrets being open, but they haven’t gotten the chance to talk to any of the other students yet.
Juliet had been thinking about Tybalt all day, worrying that he’d get himself in trouble. She didn’t know that that was exactly what was going to happen soon enough. She was hungry so she went to the Great Hall.
Everyone else is wandering around the castle somewhere, and dinner’s gonna start soon. Hey, maybe something will be said again at dinner.

And that’s what you missed on “Te Years to Come!â€
