THE STORY: Millenia in the future, two organizations have taken their claim on roughly 1/2 the universe, each. A war has been raging for such a long time between these organizations that no one knows what the terms of victory are, but still they continue. The sides are the Web of Life (WoL), the offshoot of the US government that promotes strict order and laws, and the Democratic Faction, promoting more rights and freedoms than the other, but having slighly less advanced technology. However, the Democratic Faction (seen as rebels by the WoL) has two secret weapons: Their flagship, the Aldebaraan, the strongest heavy cruiser ever built, and a small fleet of insanely fast fighers, each equipped with the Dimension Cannon, a weapon capable of vaporizing a star. Even with these weapons, the WoL manages to defeat the DF over time, taking over their territorries, and the legendary ships are lost. Hundreds of years later, a teenager discovers one of the fighters in an underground ruin, setting off a chain of events in which the whole fleet is rediscovered and the DF is allowed to fight for it's freedom once again. For this roleplay, you'll be one of the individuals who discovers one of these fighers and joins the DF to fight. Follow normal rules. No god-modding or anything above PG-rated. My character: Name: James Hitori Gender: Male Age: 17 Fighter: The Firefly Weapon (For ground combat): Masamune Description: James discovers the Firefly as he's being shot at by WoL soldiers. He takes it back to his home, repairs it, and soon news of similar discoveries reaches him. He joins the remnants of the DF soon afterward.

Alright. I assure you this is thought out, no matter how spasmodic it might sound... A gigantic monster called the Blackness makes it's way to a backwater planet and causes Hell to break loose, literally. Demons are everywhere, and much of the human population becomes mutated to the point where they're unspeakable horrors. This of course drives them mad. Meanwhile, the Blackness has a band of Planeswalking pursuers after it. Those individuals arrive in an infested city, and meet up with a small group of government agents that were spared of the mutation. They create a collaborative effort (begrudgingly, in some cases) and work together to find and destroy the blackness. Also, it should be noted that only about half of the infested humans were actually driven mad, some suffered minor changes but retained their sense of self and are living in a society around the insane ones. You can play one of the Planeswalkers, an agent, or a sane citizen. I'll be this guy: Name: Eronheim Class: Planeswalker Age: At least 600 years History: Once he discovered his Planeswalking "spark," Eron began traveling across time and space, acting as the remedy for many problems that threatened to tear the universe apart. He and his companions (some of you guys) have been tracking the Blackness for decades. Personality: Wise. Much of his life was spent studying. Weapons: A good, sturdy longsword, as well as a robe that allows him to throw daggers. Abilities: Planeswalking, timebending (all manner of meddling with the timestream, including the ability to phase objects out of reality for short periods. )
