It wasn't very long after firing his projectile attack that Reitan increased the speed in which he was running towards Teliana at. Her current weapon of choice caught his attention, especially when it shifted forms into a shield in order to defend against his attack. This being the case, he didn't plan on using another projectile attack on her, especially since he would have Carrisa as support for this fight. Instead he would stick to his strengths, most of which were in close range combat. The gap between himself and Teliana had closed enough to where she would just barely be within reach of his lance. The hand that held the lance was pulled back as Reitan prepared to strike. Two steps later and the arm that was pulled back was pushed forward, aimed right for Teliana.
The first thing that came to mind when Veera mentioned her crime was he desire to make the doppler who had injured Tatiana. He didn't know just what she had done prior to leaving the room, but apparently it was worth punishment. Hearing the word necromancy had caught both his attention and his curiosity. "Well I was going to look for the library when I ended up here, but now I'm curious about this Solomon person. Anything else you can tell me?" "I see, well I thought as much my be the case. So that is why you're going to need to build up some strength if you want to go outside." Sweallow still planned on taking her outside like she had requested yesterday, in fact that was a small part of the reason that he had gone out this morning. The bag holding the good he'd recently purchased on his desk and took out an apple, then handed it to Terra. "Eating something should help."
"So keep to ourselves then, I can handle that much." Creed said following Rhett's explanation of what they were going to be doing. It sounded easy enough, well the keep out of trouble part anyway. Though much he couldn't promise that he would do something should something arise. That said though if things didn't come to that, then there wouldn't be much to worry about from his end anyway. Creed wasn't sure what Brianne meant when she warned him not to drink the liquor. It wasn't like he actually planned on drinking any in the first place. While Rhett convince the doorman to let them in, Creed continued with his relaxed appearance as he followed behind them. It appeared to be just one thing after another as they arrived at the Institute. It had been some time since the last time Sien had been here, but it wasn't long enough for it to start looking like the way it did. nor for it for become a small den for werewolves. Alarick had asked for any suggestions on the matter at hand and Aethelrick was the first to come up with something. "We could try splitting them up while driving them out." That was pretty much the best that he could come up with.
Having managed to navigate out of the passage and to some other part of cave, Lumen and Alice had managed to find Laurentius and Kara. The latter pouring liquid onto Laurentius. Odd, that was the second time someone had done that and though form what he could tell the liquid was just outright water, nor was she praying next to her. "Did he get injured again?" The answer was probably a clear one, but it didn't hurt to ask. Especially when you really couldn't do much to aid in any healing.
"I hope I am too." Sien muttered under his breath, following behind Alarick. He hadn't used any of his spells for some time now, which given that he only did so when he really needed could be see as a good thing. It didn't really help with his confidence in his abilities though. Guess he'll see then. Creed didn't need long to think about what he was going to do. "I'll join you." He placed his hands into his pocket and moved towards her. There wasn't much else for him to say on the topic right now, plus Mok was running out of things to say so yeah. *insert fade to black*
The next person to exit out of the vehicle was Reitan. The battle had already started since his arrival to the scene. His eyes started to scan the area for someone that looked to be a decent challenge and whole that was arrogant thinking, he knew for a fact that random foot solider would pose no threat to him. That said he couldn't disregard their exist completely, so while he did this Reitan was certain to defend himself against their oncoming attacks. The first person he's eyes noticed was Carissa and the one she had fired an arrow off towards. It was a female, one dressed clearly differently from the other random foot soldiers. Call it a hunch or the weapon that appeared to be made of blood that she was using, but he felt like he could get a challenge from her. Thus with a quick spin of his lance, an orb of light appear in front of him and was fired off towards Teliana.
Kruez wandering around had taken a small detour when he ended up outside. Normally he would've shrugged his shoulder and gone back to trying to find the library, but when he saw Veera walking (I assume, let's just say she is now) away for Kaer. Weird, yet this caught attention thus he went to catch up to her (still assuming that she's walking). "Off for a walk?"
"That's, um, impressive." Creed said in response to what Rhett had told him. In truth he didn't really have much else to say regarding what he was told for he didn't know just who the 'meanest alpha to walk this side of the pond' was to begin with. That was probably a good thing to be honest though. Creed thought about what Brianne had asked him and was drawing a blank. Rhett did have a point that there were strength in numbers, but was it a good idea to involve anyone else in this mess. "Aren't there any spells or runes that could make for useful traps?" Knowing next to little on runes and other such things, he was really taking a shot in the dark here. Sien gave Alarick a nod. "Sticking with you sounds like it would be a good idea." Of course there wasn't many other options that he could think of that fell under the 'good idea' category. If he tried to survive this mess on his own, he'd probably last for a good bit and hopefully not get caught. That said, he had no idea just what exactly they were up against so going off alone wasn't the most appealing of idea with that in mind. Following Alarick's nod, Sien brief turned his attention towards Valister, who to notice of this and simply waved at them nonchalantly. That was a bit too relaxed for what was going on right now, that was for certain. "He hasn't tried anything so far, so hopefully we can trust him."
Sweallow's morning had started fairly early for him. He'd gotten up to head to the market to pick up some thing for later use. Mostly fruit and other edible goods for he now had a guest to take care of, thus he had an obligation to make sure that Terra was comfortable while she was healing. He'd stayed out long enough to be sure that he had a suffice enough of goods before heading back to his home. When he walked into the building, he found Terra sitting up in the bed she was provided. "Are you're stiches bothering you?"
"I could say the same." Creed replied. All this talk about them being hunted just for knowing the shadow hunters had cause him to get a bit worried about her well being. Needless to say he was relieve to see that she was alright. Ina situation like this he probably should be worrying more about himself, which would be easy to do if not for all the help that Brianne has helped him with. When she introduced him to Rhett, he simply said. "Yo." He didn't remember ever running into to him, but it wasn't like was actually trying to notice him. He kept to himself when it came down to traveling on the streets. "So what have you been up to...prior to all this anyway." At this point Creed was just making small talk in order to pass the time.
The longer that Aeros stood there, the more he couldn't help but to wonder what it was that was going in the the VR room. Was she doing this on some kind of advanced training? That would explain why everything looked liked it did. While Aeros was thinking about tho, he didn't notice that not only did the VR come to an end, but Brianne had stepped out and was currently questioning him. "I came down to see the VR room Commander, I didn't think someone would be using it." Aeros replied.
Creed was in the odd space between tense and relax during the whole mix up with the knights. On the one hand he wasn't exactly tense enough to the point where any little thing would cause him to draw his weapon and at the same time, he wasn't relaxed to the point where someone could get their head chopped off and it'd be about 15 minutes before he reacted. That's clearly an overestimation, but you get the point. When Cin started to slay his own knights, Creed started to relax a bit more. He was still cautious, don't get me wrong, but not as much as he was prior. At the end of the team killing, they were left with a small moment to react to all that had happened. Which was a lot to take in all at once. Creed turned to look towards Brianne. Maybe he should actually speak with her. It has been awhile since they last spoke. He made his way over to her and and spoke. "Hey there Brianne." "Is this alright?" Sien asked Alarick. He could probably already guess the answer to his question. A knight to the Seelie Queen just up and betrayed her. Something like that wouldn't most certainly doesn't sound like it would end well. Maybe things would work out in their favor though. Maybe. At this point all Sien really could do was to hope so.
Kala seemed to be pretty transfixed by Aster's horse, which was another thing that he wasn't sure why it was the case. Though he's seen horses before so that sight was nothing special to him. Kala on the other hand, this possibly was the firs time she's seen one thus explaining her reaction. And then came her question, in which Reitan didn't know how to respond. Partly because he didn't know how to answer that question himself in a satisfying manner, plus she technically did ask Timothy and thus there wasn't really much of a need for him to answer her. Unless she turned to ask him the same, then he would need to think of something.
Just as Gale was pretty much finished with his food, Veera had walked into the eating hall and asked for Tessa to follow her. Tessa was quick to respond by standing up and heading towards where Veera was standing. Gale took one more look at his plate before looking towards Adelina. "Thanks for the meal." He then got up from where he was sat and walked towards where Veera and Tessa were. Making sure to salute Veera when he got to where they were.
Fortunately only one spider seemed to noticed noticed them and it was defeated through the power of OVERKILL. Now they needed to get out of this narrow passage before anymore spiders woke up and noticed them. That said, that was exactly what he did.
When the knights stormed into the safe house, the first thing Sien did was to look around at the room. He didn't doubt that there were people here would could handle themselves in situation like this. Himself however, if a fight were to break out in this enclosed area, then he wasn't entirely sure sure what to do. Sure he had a weapon and knew how to use it, but it was a ranged weapon. As in, kinda hard to use when a knight is swinging his sword at you. With that in mind, he hoped that he would be able to get some distance so that he could actually help out should something go wrong.
After what was fifteen minutes of searching for scrap metal and arranging it so that it was a target, he was ready for phase two of his test. He'd set up two scrap metal targets with a fair amount of distance between them while he put on his winged back pack on. Sailus took in a deep breath before concentrating. The back pack had been designed to respond to his flame manipulation abilities and once all sixteen feathers had some form of flame for him to manipulate inside them, the separated from one another and started floating near him. First the eight feathers flew towards the first target at high speeds, each one accurately impaling it. As for the second one, he wanted to do something different. Thus when the other eight feather flew towards the second target to which the feathers started to cut it to pieces instead of impaling it. The second piece of scrap metal was left in pieces as both set of eight wings returned to him and connected to the backpack. Good, so far everything was going according to plan. His feathers worked with no problem thus now he was on to phase 3, flying. Sailus was both looking forward and partially worried about this. In percentage he was 90% looking forward to this and 10% worried. However his impulsive nature got the better of him and he started to make his way outside the warehouse and onto the roof. ~ Now standing on the far side of the of the warehouse roof, the moment of truth had come. Either he'd fly liked he'd planned to, glide before coming to what would hopefully be a gentle landing or come crashing down the moment after leaping. Fortunately he'd set up a bunch of discard mattresses for him to land on. He wasn't entirely sure just how soft of a landing that'd give him, but he wouldn't know until he tried. It started with one step forward, then another and another until he was jogging and that soon turned into a full on sprint which ended with Sailus jumping once he was at the edge of the warehouse. What happened next came as bit of a surprise to Sailus. With his mind being focused on actually jumping this time (and not just running off a roof like he had previous done) he'd forgotten to actually think about using his abilities and yet...he actually was flying though. All sixteen of his feathers had a small outline of flames as they appeared to flap though in the air. This had turned out better than he expected, first he was actually flying through the air and second it again looked like he had total control over his actions. Looks like we can call this experiment a complete success. Here's a better image of Sailus cause one exist now.
Aeros had stepped off the elevator and onto Deck 8 - The VR Room. There was no real reason behind him being here other than shear curiosity. The door leading into the VR are room was closed, but on the window next to the door, Aeros could see just what was going on inside and it wasn't at all what he was expecting. The glass was sounds proof (cause why not) so he couldn't hear anything that was going on inside the room, but he could see well enough. Digital recreations of people dying as well as being killed and in the middle of all this was Brianne.
The moment Kala had grabbed his hand with hers, despite it being covered by his jacket, he was left with little choice but to tag along with her as she guided them to the Quatermaster's tent. The various encounters along the way were not only interesting as they were unexpected, they had left Reitan unsure of what to say in response. Thus he gave Kala a shrug when she had asked her questioned while getting fitting. . One freak out from Kala and a quick thumbs up from Reitan when she was dressed later and they were now where Clarissa was. "Thanks." Reitan simply replied before turning his attention towards the transport. Their prisoner didn't seem like the talkative type so he wondered if they actually managed to get any information out of her. Upon hearing the soldier, Reitan looked away from the transport and towards Kala. "Um, how well can you handle yourself in a fight?" A valid question given what they would be up against.
