oh my god oh god this so much omg

there's this one guy who was in two of my classes last semester -- both of them he showed up 20+ mins late to a 50 min class, brought absolutely nothing and slept. every. single. day. he even showed up very late on the day of the final. the ****ing final. i finished it early and when i was leaving he was also leaving, meaning he didn't even try. it makes me so mad. If you don't want to be here, don't be here. it's a choice. i just have a general disgust for disrespectful or disrupting people in a classroom. but now that im not in hs i think i'm a little more justified in getting pissed off so much because of it, plus there's the added thing of them paying for it and it being a choice.

my first class was at 10 both semesters last year. that was nice. im going to have some trouble adjusting to a 9 class this semester. what's your school like? is it a 4-year thing or something? mines a 2 year. the campus is small which makes things easier. i have to worry about all that graduation stuff and figuring out where i want to transfer. again. i feel like i just went through all of this a yea- oh wait i did.

you start college this year, right? Don't be so sure. I don't dread going to school like I did in hs. Part of me enjoys it. Yeah, there are still times when I want nothing more than to say **** school and sleep all day, but on the whole it's a nice experience and I'm excited to continue.

but then i think back to what i was doing when i got out three months ago and that seems like a lifetime ago. ngl this summer has been very stressful and just not good. im excited to go back. get some semblance of normality and structure in my life.

Yeah, I can totally see that. Thinking about it more, I do still prefer Sufferer to Appeal, I think it's more solid and consistent as an album, but I think the standout songs on Appeal are as good as the best songs on Sufferer.

I have to say that coming around on Appeal has made me want to go back and listen to the older stuff I couldn't get into despite trying.
