I run Cardcar D at three in my masked HERO build, and PoD at two. In addition to that I have triple E- and a RotA. Shadow Mist also means that Foolish Burial is like E- only better. That means that I have nineteen cards that are monsters or directly search for monsters. For getting fusions out I have triple Mask Change and Miracle along with double Super Poly and Parallel World (which I should only run one of, but I haven't changed it yet) So eight cards that will almost always let me fuse, and Cardcar and PoD to help get to them. (Also Shadow Mist can search mask change, but doesn't do it very well in my deck.) In addition to that there's double Form Change which is strong, but doesn't help consistency, so it might be better at one.. The end result of all that is that it's very hard to get a hand that doesn't have enough monsters for fusion, and you'll usually end up with something to fuse with. Some staple traps will help stall until you get a fusion if you don't open one, and will allow you to Cardcar safely. I do still get some bad hands, but usually they're playable.[DOUBLEPOST=1404417759][/DOUBLEPOST]I just realized that CB are actually really OP in arena. Get a field of five CBs in front row, three in back row, and the field spell and you can negate five spells or traps.
The best part is that now when you Quasar.. You can pay 3k with Soul Charge to Quasar again![DOUBLEPOST=1404413347][/DOUBLEPOST] Run 3x bubble 2x ocean and 3x miracle. Now mask change is basically a harpies feather duster, only better.
That is all that needs to be said.
Crystal Abundance OTK has been around for ever. One spell cards sends the entire field to grave, and then lets you SS a bunch of monsters from grave.
"My duel disk is green. As it should be, since I haven't even dueled yet."[DOUBLEPOST=1404357865][/DOUBLEPOST]I would like to propose four ban list changes, in order of how important they are. 1. Ban imperial order. Right now it's only limited, and it really needs to go away. 2. Limit or Ban Dark Coffin. It can force the opponent to discard when destroyed by either player. Combined with certain cards this is OP. 3. Ban Spell Economics. This card does nothing but make certain turn one combos stronger, such as triple ancient leaf or dimension fusion, and a stronger turn one is not good for the game. 4. Limit Spell Absorption. This has basically the same reasoning as the prior but to a much lesser degree. No one really needs to drop 3x spell absorption anyway, unless they're doing something cheesy. There are also quite a few things that should be taken off the list (Seriously, why is Plaguespreader Zombie limited?) but that isn't as high of a priority.
Was there ever a plot?
You could use Gladiator Beasts, Heroic Challenger, Battlin' Boxer.. Amazoness. Can't think of anything else at the moment.
It's not that he's a hypocrite.. I guess it's something along the lines of him having problems with the way both sides do things, but focusing on those problems rather than on anything positive, or even trying to mitigate those problems.
I'm not too familiar with Yliaster due to having stopped watching the show much before they started being a thing. If you mean all of his talk about people being short sighted and that leading to a worse future.. Well, if he were talking to Z-One he would be talking about how it was wrong to sacrifice the present for the sake of the future. He's kind of contrary like that.[DOUBLEPOST=1404341906][/DOUBLEPOST] "Well, at least you're confident. There are many worse things to be." *Zack turns his attention back to the duel that presumably has been going on at the same time as this conversation to keep in character time consistent*
"Your eyes.. I never knew the eyes of a god of death could be so.." "Ah, sorry. What was.. Ah, yes, Yusei Fudo. The man who would deny the future for the sake of the present. I didn't think he was one to abandon his friends, but I guess he was brought here for a reason. Unfortunately, I don't think this world would allow you to take his life. He is too strong to defeat in a fair fight, and most supernatural tools are ineffective. If you plan to face him, I think you will find these cards helpful." *Zack hands Misa three cards* "The fourth card belongs to the one you follow. I have not been able to obtain a copy, so you will need to acquire it on your own." Spoiler: Cards (manga exclusive)
"Of course."
"That is.. Disappointing. I had hoped that as the one who found out Kira, something even I had not done, and as a possessor of supernatural eyesight, you would be able to see more clearly. But perhaps that is a blessing, not a curse. I wish you luck in your pursuit of whatever it is that you are truly seeking."
"If I recall correctly.. The Eyes of a Death God do not work on another with the same powers. Since you should be able to see my own information that would preclude my own possession of The Eyes.. However the Shinigami were not my focus of study, so I may have forgotten some conditions under which that could be the case.. Regardless, I do not possess the eyes of a Death God, only some prior information." "But enough about me. What I was wondering is.. Why is it that you follow The Supreme King? It would seem to me that he is opposed to your long term goals. Are you really willing to damage the distant future for the hope of a better short term future?"
"I'm Zack. Zack Shiro. But you could see that for yourself. I suppose it was rude of me to call you by name without first offering my own regardless. Would it make you feel more comfortable if you introduced yourself too, or may I proceed straight to what I've been wondering about?"
In character: "Huh.. It seems that Zane has left for some reason. Perhaps I scared him away. As unfortunate as that is, it means that you are no longer being ganged up on, pony, so I may no longer assist you. I guess I'll go watch with Ms. Amane."
If you'd like, I can set my character to watchdog mode. Then, if you feel like you're being ganged up on you can just imagine him, with his bemused smirk, barking at them. Then you wont feel so bad.
He may or may not be a bad guy, but he doesn't want a pony to lose right now, so he's helping one.
I leave you alone for two minutes and you're ganging up on arguably the least villainous person here? And after the ponies finally started trying to figure out where we are. I'd forgotten how high maintenance villains were. Well, I'd been meaning to test out this deck, and it would be no fun if we lost a pony this early, so it looks like I'll have to make things interesting.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.. I would just use the character image I made earlier, so that I'll actually get around to finishing his character.
You're better in arena than I am, don't worry about it.
