    Recently made these:

One-Pan Pasta! [ good with garlic bread, and/or a salad ] ( Mine: prep / finished with Parmesan cheese and basil )

Potato Soup! [ good with grilled cheese, or biscuits -- made with an original fried fish recipe last time ] ( Mine )

I cook. A lot. If you want to try either of these and need any help let me know. I modified the first recipe a bit to add a bit of spaghetti sauce [ the meal itself is very 'healthy' and doesn't have a lot of flavor minus the hint of garlic and basil in my opinion ].

Most of you know this already but I'm back home. Thing is, I don't have a mouse consistently? SynK ordered one for me and it should be here soon, but that's why I haven't done much of anything since getting home. I get to steal my mom's when she goes to bed, but I don't want the thing that's going to happen to be posted in the middle of the night [ especially on a weekday and since I'm back in my timezone ].

Will let y'all know when I have a mouse. Will make crap short posts from phone when I'm needed, but there IS something planned. Right now there's not much to actually do so if you feel like you're in a rut or like ???, that's normal. I haven't been strict with deadlines because I'm unable to do anything to progress the story. So don't feel like 'I have nothing to do i am a failure i should go jump off a cliff', it's not your fault, there really isn't much to be happening atm just hang in there kittens.

Short post - on phone, no mouse yet for the computer. :C

    --

The journey to the library was short and boring, and when they got there Annalynne couldn't help but to laugh. What a pathetic little library! Did they really expect to find anything here - in Fairwyn? Maybe if they were looking for breast enhancement tips or muscle growth spells. Nevertheless she held her tongue and paced through the halls, tracing her fingers elegantly over the spines of the poorly written novels and magazines.

Honestly, she wondered why they were trying so hard to decipher a stupid book. If they were supposed to be able to understand it, they would have. There was nothing so special about the Hall of Games, in her opinion. Things were strange, of course, but nothing completely out of the ordinary for a place created by the King, she thought. When she became God, her castle would be ten times more extravagant and particular!

    She smiled at the thought.

Morgiwhina made her presence known and Garret explained the situation to her, asking her to help. Annalynne tuned the situation out at that point and continued looking herself, wondering what exactly Crestatia was up to and how those ding dongs in the Hall were doing.

Once she had decided that entirely too much of her valuable time was being consumed here, she stepped away from the books and rolled her eyes with an obvious pout on her lips.

"I don't think we're going to get anywhere here. It's a waste of time. If you want to read that stupid book why not take it to one of the linguistic realms? Fairwyn isn't any good for this sort of thing." She trailed off, watching as an attractive Valen strut his way past her. "It's plenty good for other things, though ..."

FAIRWYN WAS GREAT. Hands down one of the best realms she'd ever taken the time out of her important life to visit. She didn't see why the people in their group seem to have some kind of disdain for the place. It had a charm all it's own. All kinds of lovely forms of flattery were sent her way since she stepped into town. Winks, lip licking, lusty smiles, leering, envying her vivacious body like the house of power it was. It put a spring in her step to see that the men here knew how to treat a lady.

However, she still turned her nose up at them, though she longed to play with the toys that made up this cities population, she knew that gathering information from the group and waiting on Crestatia's return was far more important. She shook her red hair to dispel any negative thoughts and smirked as the action brought cat calls upon the group when they entered the bar. Oh! Music to her ears. She would have to visit when things weren't so hectic.

She was settling into the bar scene, selecting an acceptable hunk to buy her something to drink when the newbie Valen, Marina, caught her and seemed to inquire about something. That was forgotten in the chaos surrounding the brawl. Time stood still as a few ogling men formed a barrier to protect her. Eventually the brawling stopped and Marina became occupied which left Annalyne to her own devices. Getting information. The group gathered and talked until a familiar heart racing presence filled the room. A glance at the door confirmed it. Crestatia was back! A little haggled, but no worse for wear. At the risk of being mobbed by men, she kept her seat, content with feeding off a table of admirers sexualizing her in their narrow minds, far off.

She smiled as Crestatia took a seat on her left and then she pouted as Darren took the one on her right. But she listened again when he spoke, to absorb what he said like a sponge. He then added something while waiting for everyone's input. He mentioned a small team of three or four consisting of himself and Marina and whoever else volunteered to come visit libraries and Valen specializing in Foreign or Ancient Languages. She thought it was a good idea, and seeing a certain look in Crestatia's eye made her know that her mind was whirling and she'd be fine without her. So Annalyne volunteered herself to the Book team, after which she continued to do one of the many things she did best. Look good.

Suffering intensifies. I've been trying to upload something new to YT every week and I'm failing but at least I'm getting stuff out! ; w ; I have a couple of other harmony-heavy songs lined up because they're a LOT of fun to do imo even though it's kind of difficult to time it right and make sure everything blends okay.

    Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Darren eyed Fairwyn critically, he'd only heard of the place through word of mouth. It seemed fun for hot blooded, horny folks. But he was glad the other Valens had headed there. It made tracking them down much easier. As they journeyed there, the pace of their little group was slow enough to give him plenty of time to think. Like who wrote that book they found, and why in such a strange language. And why have maintenance and prisoner clothes scattered around a castle that never seemed to be maintained. Could someone have been using the Hall of Games when the Players played? They did tend to get distracted by intensity of manipulating the board and each other. .

Utilizing the doll, the entourage of three soon found it's little owner and the owner's friend, Daphne. He gave a little wave to them both, genuinely happy that they were okay in such an elitist town. He wasn't sure if their diverse group would be welcomed here for long, and it made him worry. What would these macho types do if they found out that the bell rang on their game time? They gathered that most valens were inside the bar or around town. Hopefully planning their next move.

He went into the bar and surveyed the scene, a bar brawl had happened here, and recently but they seemed to be tidying up. He didn't know what to make of that. Since none of the Valens in Marina's game appeared to be hurt, he relaxed, the fighting was normal in Aether. It soothed him, and let him know that the Fairwynians weren't a gentle type of folk. He glanced about for two women as he strode over the the bartender, neutrality defining him as he settled on a stool. His red haired and tempered charge, Annie. And the freshest faced Valen, Marina. He couldn't seem to spot Annalyne and Marina seemed to be preoccupied, so he decided to wait patiently for a few minutes more before speaking to her about the golden book or getting the group together for a brainstorming session. Preferably in a less aggressive place.

ONLY A FEW MOMENTS HAD PASSED BEFORE DARREN MADE HIS PRESENCE KNOWN WITH A THUNDEROUS BOOM. If only he were able to wield that level of power in the castle, but no matter. The demoness lifted her chin yet again towards the tower, seeing nothing but clouds and folding her arms across her chest in thought. Instead of running off in a flash as she expected, Darren stepped across the cool sand to stand beside her. He seemed perplexed and she raised an eyebrow.

    You waiting for something?

    You seem confused. Why?

You're a woman of no spontaneity. There must be a reason why you're standing here instead of heading home.?

She was not sure how to respond to that. Surely he knew how important it was to her to make sure everything was on point?

Quite the adventure, huh? Arius appeared, pulling himself sluggishly from a luxury boat he must have crafted and hiking up through the sand to join their little ... party. His tone was sarcastic so she did not bother putting on an interested expression and instead turned her back towards the two Valen with a deliberate breath of salty air. The sea Valen were not going to appreciate Arius' little maneuver, and they were known to have quite the temper.

We should not linger. Instead, we should try and reconnect with the others. Perhaps they found something else of value? Going home will do us no good, I assume God is on His way ... It is not as if we can escape Him.

Unfortunately, returning to the castle did them no good. Apparently Fairwyn had stuck their noses into the situation and the others had gone off somewhere after being forcibly removed from the Hall. She wondered what the guard was doing in there, but was not in the position to cause trouble for them at the moment. Instead, Darren, Arius and herself made their way to Fairwyn - the closest realm to the Hall and the most likely place for the others to be.

SHE WAS ... INTERESTED. Surely nothing good could come from a trap door in a magical castle, but it called to her. Crestatia had an affinity for darkness, and the unknown, and she was not going to let Darren and Arius go alone. Of course this also proved as an excuse to evade Annalynne. It had been ... annoying ... when she ended up in her group, and Crestatia's ears had been ringing too badly for her to find the energy to shoo her away right off the bat.

    It did not matter now.

Darren, Arius and her quickly found the entrance to the trap door and descended down. She crinkled her nose in disgust. The smell was putrid. Immediately, she felt the urge to retreat back into the room above them, but without a second wasted the door slammed shut and one weak attempt at teleporting above it later, she confirmed that they were trapped.

At the bottom of the cellar, low light candles lit a dark and narrow tunnel. The walls and floor were covered in dirt and grime, and she had to hold the skirt of her gown up to avoid soaking her colorful frills in the muck. They passed mostly empty prison cells. Most of the floors were decorated with prison garbs and Crestatia clicked her tongue, listening to the sound echo eerily around them.

It was not so bad down here, excluding the smell and the filth.

The castle shifted above them, sending dust sprinkling down into their hair and onto their clothes. She closed her eyes, suppressing the urge to flinch. This was necessary. There had to be a reason they were trapped down here.

No need to panic, she reminded her party calmly.

In her head, she scanned over Darren and Arius' abilities, wondering if either of them had anything particularly useful. Crestatia herself wished she had more valuable abilities, but she had never truly considered herself dependent on her powers. She used people. What gifts belonged to them would eventually belong to her if she played her cards right.

They continued on for a bit of time before reaching an old wooden door. It opened with the push of her heel, and they walked into a small chamber. There was a plate of bread with a cup of water, some chains against the far south wall, and a bed - that happened to be ablaze. What most caught her interest was the window against the east wall. It was barred, but rusted.

She could hear the sound of crashing waves, and the smell of seawater tickled at her nose. Somehow, they were in a tower above one of the aquatic realms inhabited mostly by mermen. What a strange castle ... As far as she knew, there was no way from the outside of the castle to get here just by walking.

    Can anyone break those?

    They all exchanged looks.

Darren stepped forward with a sigh and held his hands up, attempting a sonic boom that was - frankly - pathetic, but it seemed to do a bit of damage. The bars bent, and one even fell away. Arius stepped up then, alerting them that he was going to use his material teleportation to spawn something useful. His 'useful' thing ended up being a hammer and Crestatia gave him a look before remembering the idiotic properties of this castle and taking the hammer from him.

    Boost me, please.

Darren and Arius [ a tad more stubbornly ] both complied, and she could not refrain from smirking a bit at the situation as she ground her grime covered heels into their palms and went to work with beating the bars away. One by one, they fell into the ocean below. Now it was the matter of climbing out.

She stuck her head out and breathed in the salty air, closing her eyes to relish in the moment. It was much better than the stuffy room behind her. She wiggled a bit, attempting to push herself out, but the skirt of her gown was preventing her from getting through. Unfortunately, the power of the castle continued to suppress her abilities, otherwise she would just teleport away at this point.

Clearly irritated, she pushed back inside and stepped down.

Just a moment, she murmured, staring longingly down at the elegant skirt of violet. Eventually resolving to detach herself from the fabric, she reached underneath to grip the wire hoopskirt and tear it away. Her dress deflated to fit her form better, but she shook her head in disapproval, severely disgusted with herself. This time, with less courtesy, Up again.

She was hoisted and pulled herself out of the window, sliding through and tumbling down the side of the tower.

God, it felt good to be out of that castle!! She could feel the power flowing back into her as she fell through the salt sprinkled air. Just before falling into the icy waters below, she willed herself to teleport to the nearby shore. Honestly, she wanted to go home and get changed, but she felt obligated to make sure the other two Valen made it out safely. Strangely enough, she could not see the tower from the shore. Nothing but a thickening of clouds above the ocean ...

    Hmm ...

[7:54:47 AM] 「ᴊᴀʏɴᴀʙᴇʟʟᴇ ✿」: [ Read the RP before this if you don't want spoilz ]

I need someone in the group that's outside to somehow rally them all up and convince them all to head to Fairwyn for a drink or something i don't care. Fairwyn is the closest and anyone who cared about Darren & Co might want to hang around and reflect on what the crap is going on.

You are technically free to go wherever you'd like now, but splitting up more at this point will prove more tedious later [ it's okay though, if your character would leave they'd leave ]. If you want, your character can leave and return later before I'm back.

Fairwyn is basically a pretentious pile of ****. They think they're the best, and it's a very large region. Lots of sports, and useful places for weapons and food / alcohol. Arenas. Stupidly large houses. The best of the best of everything. They're kind of macho and the women are kind of ****ty and RIDICULOUSLY sexualized. There are 15 women in the guard of like 400. Women prepare for cat calls and booty slaps and men prepare for HOW TOUGH ARE YA?s and drunken punches to the face.

A bit medieval with the structures but otherwise modern. Anything else I don't care.

When I'm back and lady to post I'll expand on whatever, but for now that's all that needs to happen.

STARTING THE BELL UP AGAIN WAS A STUPID IDEA, BUT EXPLORING WAS EVEN MORE ANNOYING. She was hoping Crestatia would stop the idiots from deciding to roam a castle that was completely falling apart, but the demoness had been particularly quiet after the arrival of the group. And so it was that they returned inside, split off into teams and began to explore the castle. What were they looking for? She had no clue. None of this was making any sense to her.

It wasn't until Crestatia went off with him, warning her not to follow, that Annalynne decided it was a complete waste of time to be here with these people. Their little team hadn't really found anything worth sharing and she doubted loitering around in some freaky music room was going to result in anything interesting. It took her a while, but she found herself back in the foyer with the losers who hadn't bothered to do anything useful. Without a greeting, she plopped herself down where Marina had been sitting and casually began to look through the plans of the game they hadn't even gotten into.

Such a shame. There was no real remorse in her voice, and she began to hum cheerfully to herself as the sound of crashing towers reached the foyer with a heavy tremor.

Suddenly, as quickly as it had begun, the bell stopped and the castle became still. Annalynne peered up at the ceiling with a curious expression.

... Seems like they actually figured it out.

Not too bad, for a bunch of loooooosers.

She snickered to herself, but her relaxing couldn't last long. As if to take the place of the droning chime, the sound of a dozen voices reached the ears of those in the foyer. Annalynne stood up, slowly walking through the room and to one of the tall arched windows. She had to stand on her tip toes, but she could see a line of Valen approaching the castle.

    ... Maybe not.

As if on cue, the others appeared - minus a few notable Valen. She frowned.

Where is Crestatia? Her tone was partially accusatory and she stepped back from the aperture with her hands rested skeptically on her hips. There wasn't even time for an answer before the group of Valen found their way to the foyer, occupying seats and leaning against walls. Annalynne stared, shooting a poisonous glare at the Players. They must of done something! Dumbasses!

There must have been at least twenty of them, most of whom she recognized, with sour expressions and shaking heads of disapproval. Suddenly feeling very small, the brunette left her place to group closer to those who she was most familar with and wishing Crestatia was here to take charge.

The crowd of Valen were from a neighboring region, Fairwyn. They were the closest district to the Hall, and took themselves much too seriously in her opinion. They established a sort of court, which Annalynne found stupid, and anyone who was pretentious enough found themselves joining their ranks. Each Valen had an extraordinary amount of power and were often found abusing it in other regions, and one could not join their little cult of elitists unless they passed a series of bullshit tests.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid ...

She was a little jealous, though.

Finally, the leader of this particular squad [ he went by the name of Casden ] approached their little group. He was a big boned man with a dumb looking goatee and greasy spiked black and silver hair that clashed with the thick, rouge horns jutting out of his skull.

I take it you all know what has happened, hmm?

    Eek.

Annalynne habitually waited for Crestatia to answer.

    ...

    ...

    Welp.

I suggest you all vacate the premise while we - the Elite Guard of Fairwyn -handle the situation.

We can't leave you idiot, Annalynne spat. Our match hasn't ended.

Fortunate for you then, Miss Anna May, that one of our very own - in the Elite Guard of Fairwyn - can assist you.

Annalynne's face went red. He knew her name! He also knew how infuriating it was for her to be mistaken for someone else - or forgotten. If she had had her full range of power ... Casden smirked and turned, moving to the head of the table and looking over Marina's plans as she had.

One of the men from the squad stood and approached the group, staring each one of them in the eyes for an uncomfortable amount of time. When it was her turn, she felt nothing but a sort of tingling warmth in her chest, and when he was finished they were ushered quickly outside of the foyer.

It's a masking spell - it'll hide your hearts from the castle and let you escape. ]It won't last long, so hurry away.

There was really no choice in the matter, as every time Annalynne went to object and inform them that there were more in the castle, she was hushed until Casden ordered five of his men to escort them outside of the castle and past the billow of clouds the shrouded this place.
