could you do it? betray yourself for love?

Feall awoke to the sound of Ava getting ready for the day, he heard his parents in the kitchen cooking breakfast. He thought back to the conversation the day before (OOC: Shush, we're pretending this was yesterday). He couldn't believe he and Ava actually discussed using Cupid's Brew on one another.

He stepped out of his room and into their shared bathroom down the hall where Ava was busy brushing her hair. Leaning up against the door frame as she smoothed out her thick brown locks, Feall looked at her for a moment. She noticed him in the mirror and turned around as she continued to brush her hair. Feall smiled "Good morning!". Ava tilted her head and gave a faint smile back before turning back to the mirror. "Good morning." she replied.

Feall was silent for a moment as he fumbled with his hands in the pockets of his flannel pajama pants. "So, about what we talked about yesterday...I, did you really want to-" Feall was interrupted by his mother calling for breakfast. "Ah, I guess it'll have to wait, see you at the table." Feall turned and headed down the hall toward the dining room, waving his hand as if to bid her farewell. As Ava saw him head off in the mirror, she turned to watch him leave as she pinned up her hair.

It's true, they're waning, it's still relevant enough to be a thing. I blame call of duty for the ridiculous "need" to shoehorn multiplayer into everything nowadays (even if things have been getting more creative, like Assassin's Creed, there are still your Dead Space 2's out there).

It's not so much strictly a "call of duty" thing, though, more of a commentary on the attitude of most publishers, keep doing what everyone else is doing because they're making more money.

It better applies to pretty much any run of the mill MMO that isn't WoW. Though, even then, we've been seeing some fresher perspectives, like how Tera fits the mold but the battle system is more of a hack and slasher than your general "double-click once to attack until either you or the baddie falls down"

Half of the blame lies with the consumers, though, we need to stop buying the horse armor and preordering DLC that isn't even planned to exist yet or preordering digital download games.

America, stop giving publishers money for things they haven't made yet.

And it all boils down to; why would someone play a Call of Duty knock-off when they already have Call of Duty?

We put almost half as much money into our Call of Duty rip-off game as Call of Duty gets, but it's not as popular as Call of Duty, the people just keep playing Call of Duty, why won't they play our game that's trying to be Call of Duty but isn't as good.

I know, let's continue trying to out Call of Duty Call of Duty instead of appealing to a different market.

    Also microtransactions.

Is season 4 the latest one? Yeah it wasn't as good IIRC.

TBH I stopped paying attention when I dropped the Hulu+ account.

Much like my Xbox live account, I decided that I wouldn't support the concept of paying to see ads.

I'd be so poor, I always set my alarm an hour earlier than I actually need so I can snooze.

It's a terrible habit, but it's also a safety net in case the first alarm doesn't wake me. I'm a damn heavy sleeper, only a few triggers can wake me up, found a new one recently.

Freya awoke suddenly to a knock on the door, it was Tucker.

She let him in and greeted him with a kiss, she was exhausted, even though she'd spent the past few days in what seemed like a coma, she could barely keep her eyes open, she pulled Tucker to bed and the two of them drifted off to sleep in eachother's arms.
