Perhaps make it so he loses a rage counter during each standby phase to avoid him being too overly powerful.
Even ignoring all issues of balance.. Why on earth do they all have basically the same effect? Split the effect up. Make Iron Man's only effect be the once during either player's turn destroy a monster and do lots of damage. make Captain America's only effect complete immunity to destruction. make Hulk's only effect lots of attack gain. Make Thor immune to destruction by card effects, and able to destroy one monster during his turn, but no burn and he can't attack that turn. I don't know, just make them different..
Hmm.. I was hoping for something a bit more elaborate, but that works. Probably better than something elaborate.
Okay, time to redeem yourself.. As proof that there are a lot of ways to kill an unprotected LaDD, your opponent has no cards in hand, their grave is only Photon Sanctuary, and they have LaDD on the field. You have no field, no grave, and a hand of three. Kill it in three different ways.
You're sure there's something that can be done, but you don't feel like thinking about it.. sure.. But this is a two card combo, essentially. Brook just challenged me to a duel with the same terms as for this one, and he lost despite the fact that I'm playing solely to showcase the power of these customs, and trying to avoid doing much else.. Although he did force me to drop a single veiler, I had also used maxx C, so I had a hand of twelve despite that, and he surrendered without destroying a single one of my monsters. If I chain C to your fissure, there is no way for you to clear my field of monsters without boosting me over a hand of ten, and I'm backed up by Damage Diet, so I'm really hard to kill. Even an honested wildedge would only do around 5k damage to me, and using Honest means no fissure, means I can use whatever hand traps I like. Add to that the fact that it's really expensive to clear my field even if you can somehow figure out a way.. and I can just replenish it with two cards, and I'll have done 3.2k of nearly guaranteed burn with their effects. It's very easy to kill an unsupported LaDD, and it only costs one card if you do it right. Unsupported, these are still really hard and expensive to kill no matter what you do.
You're wrong. He can't summon one in the battle phase, and I can just wait until the battle phase to kill his first five.
Sorry, but you'd have to do something more threatening to get me to waste my destruction effects. And I summoned an extra captain america. Edit: I'm assuming you used heavy storm, I chain damage diet and jar of greed, giving me hand three. you have hand four and a full field of neo-spacians after using fusion once, with 6k LP left. continue your turn as you like. Spoiler: Damage Diet
Okay.. I challenge you to a duel then. I go first. I use assemble, then normal summon Captain America, and set two. You may not use custom cards, or lava golem, but may use anime or video game exclusives. Every time you summon a monster to your side of the field, you may draw one card. Try to beat me. Oh, and you can ignore rule 11, assuming you don't use herald of green on my first turn. (because you would just drain your hand to nothing and I'd still get them out on the third assemble.) Edit: Oh, and to give you a fighting chance.. I wont use Starlight Road, Waboku, or any counter traps. In addition to this, I will not summon any more monsters, and if my field is cleared of monsters you instantly win.
And even if they could only destroy things on their own turn, or you could summon an infinite amount of monsters in one turn for free, a simple Waboku makes them completely impossible to remove from the field until your next turn.
*CoughItachiandIcough*
Jay.. They can destroy one monster per turn during either player's turn. summon five of them, then during the opponent's BP you can nuke all of their monsters before they can try to destroy you by battle, and do over 3k damage at the same time. They can also just destroy the first five monster you try to summon, then you can still only destroy them by battle when the weakest one of them has 1800 atk. Additionally, you can't negate their effects because they're unaffected by card effects, so even Stardust or Skill Drain wont help you any once they're on the field. There are only three ways to beat them: 1. 3x Lava Golem 2. a monster that can't be destroyed by monster effects, and can be summoned without any monsters that aren't destroyed the moment they hit the field 3. summoning five monsters with enough attack to kill them, then summoning more monsters during the BP
Oh wow, I didn't realize they were either player's turn.. Yeah, that's ridiculously OP on monsters that are immune to card effects.
but it costs cards to take cards. Unless they're destroyed by battle they're no easier to kill than any other standard monster, and if they are destroyed by battle that's one less attack that actually hits you, so it's not really leaving a vulnerable space. And then you get them back for free within three of your turns.
Normally we have to have Jay approve cards.. But I don't think lyris does that anyway, and her cards tend to be really situational and broken.. So go for it.
It only counts cards. If, say, I special summon Ragin using two materials with hand zero, I net one less monster, two more cards in hand. that's a +1. If I synch quasar with 2x ragin 1x formula synchron, that puts me in a very good position.. but it's still a -2, as I've lost two monsters. if I then went and destroyed two monsters by battle with quasar, that would be a +2 making the whole thing net even, but if I simply did massive damage to my opponent's LP and they somehow survived it would still be a -2.[DOUBLEPOST=1370045793][/DOUBLEPOST] They have time delay, so you can drop 15 of them and have them just all come back during different standby phases.[DOUBLEPOST=1370045852][/DOUBLEPOST] Yeah, the quick-play is really strong, not quite OP, but the monsters are all OP. Free to summon, good stats, stat gaining, free destruction, free burn damage, unaffected by opponent's card effects.
No, any number. Play PoG, play tripple sevens, play ancient leaf, play card destruction. that's seven. Wait until your second turn after you've used triple reckless during your opponent's turn. You can get up to 11 just off of that.
I personally just don't duel people who are using customs if they don't show me their customs first. If their stuff is broken, don't duel them.
What's broken about that is that it breaks trading cards. If I swarm the field, I'm normally opening myself up to cards like Dark Hole and TT. With these, not only do Dark Hole and TT not generate advantage, they actually lose advantage, and even destroying them by battle wont work. Heck, despite what Rienzel said, even Macro and Fissure don't work, as the monster effect beats Macro/Fissure, as seen in the case of Kristya. Add on to that that you get a free special summon from Foolish, any number of free special summons from Card Destruction.. Charge of the Light Brigade requires a mill cost. With LS that's not too much of a cost, so we can call it even with an E-Call. However, the value of a search is doubled to a free special summon when you have an R-Genex Accelerator. LS have nothing comparable with the one per turn stratos. Garoth can make double draws, but that requires other monsters on the field, and means you run the risk of decking out really fast, whereas his double draw monster needs no support, has no downside, and is one per turn. Celestia has a stronger burst, but doesn't have the sustained damage of Uriel. Lumina is the only real swarm power LS have. with the psuedo Accelerator, his deck can easily normal one monster, then chain through six special summons without actually losing any advantage, and while banishing some of his monsters to come back later. While JD is nice, it's also easy to counter. They summon JD, you chain BTH, they've got nothing. Their searches don't even work on JD, and they have a good chance of milling it. Plus, they were the strongest deck around for a while. Finally, LS have one big weakness: They're all about unprotected monsters. LS have very little way to keep their monsters on the field safe, and their power comes entirely from having those monsters sitting on the field. With the quick-play all cards are unaffected by card effects, in addition to the monsters' own effects, the archangels are very safe on the field, and able to generate plenty of card advantage every turn they're face-up.[DOUBLEPOST=1370045006][/DOUBLEPOST] he means you instantly generated three points of card advantage. You spent one card and gained four from it.
No offense to Rienzel.. But are we talking about the same archetype? All of his monsters come back in a few turns if they would be sent to the grave for any reason. Add on top of that an E-Call, a pair of double drawers, a one per turn stratos, an R-Genex Accelerator, a pandemic that blocks monster effs too.. And that's just what's been shown this game.
When you discard a card, you must show what that card is. I don't really mind right now, as long as you post them in the future, but Jay might want you to edit a card into here. Edit: Also, rienzel, stardust, could you please edit spoiler tags around the massive card images you quoted?
