Second chances are only given by those who are willing to place their trust in a person who has broken their trust before. If they do it for more than one person, it's bound to become a habit. In other words, second chances are only for the weak. As for myself, I don't give second chances to anyone unless they mean so much to me that part of my soul would dissolve if I let them go. That's pretty much just one or two people, so good luck getting a second chance out of me.
◘ I WON'T LIGHT THE FIRE, BUT I WILL NURTURE THE FLAMES OF REBELLION ◘ Nix came to alert when the lights of the auditorium flicked off. It looked like it was Sam's turn to do his act, but Nix didn't know what that entailed, and so he was wary of everything around him. He watched around him for his fellow act-players, and found them, though they were not really together. Alice had just appeared in the crowd momentarily, and little Volts seemed to be having some sort of internal conflict going on. He frowned, wondering what was wrong with her. For just a moment, he was tempted to check on her, to see if she was alright, but he figured she probably wouldn't like that much - and then Hunter had appeared and Nix shot the suggestion right out of the sky. That was one person he didn't want to interact with if he didn't have to. Troublesome person . . . And it wasn't because Nix was shaken by him in any mental way, it was more that he didn't like to deal with people whom he thought were an annoyance. A jolt shot through him and his attention immediately turned to the stage, in anticipation of what Sam had in store for his act. It seemed a little . . . awkward at the beginning, but Nix could appreciate the poetry for what it was. The only thing about it was, what was Sam aiming for? Sadness, being ominous, a mix of both? Nothing seemed to happen from his slightly violent prodding at the inner being he was aiming to summon. Nix almost felt bad for the guy. Almost. "I am here, Master Samuel!" growled a voice, and Nix raised an eyebrow. He'd never really known Sam, or cared much to know him, but this bit about him was pretty interesting. A-Class students usually were, though. After the full shock of what had happened sunk into him, he observed the performer on the stage. Different. He was definitely different. Half of him normal, half of him . . . not. Was this the Jaggerjack he called out to? Whatever it was, it was definitely something else. That something else . . . was powerful. He continued to look on with interest as Sam began a back-and-forth dialogue with the demon that was half of him. The act wasn't bad, not at all; Nix could appreciate the form of speech he used and his command of the stage and mood. Should have laid off a little on the dramatics - but hey, no one was perfect. After the full transformation took place ( Nix was a bit stunned by it, really ), an external showing of an internal struggle took place, and he was impressed by the beast. Just then, his attention was pulled from the act and over to the small group of his performing partners. Nix raised an eyebrow and listened in to what was going on. "Hey. Would you mind repeating what you said about R-Classes?" she said, and he wondered what got her to confront on his, "Is that what you really think? Of me? Of Nix? They guy you weren't happy with isn't even in my class, so would you mind not making assumptions?" Whoa. Whoa. Don't drag him into that now. Nix was a single being. A class in his own right. You didn't group anyone with any single group. He didn't like the classifying organization of the school, but he never said anything because it was never really an issue - but Nix was an individual, and everyone was different. If Hunter wanted to think of them all as one, all weaklings, then that was his idiotic misjudgment and only made him an ass. Nix didn't care as long as he wasn't dragged into that. "Yo, keep me out of this, please." he said to the small group, and then returned his attention to the stage. He decided it was probably a good idea to keep his ear out for trouble just in case Ghostie couldn't handle herself.
Don't know how many of you know about it already, but it's called Stereomood. You choose from a wide variety of moods ( there are some pretty outrageous ones ), and it compiles a playlist to match that mood. The playlist is composed of songs by artists from high and low, though mostly I've heard non-mainstream music, and it's pretty nice. For any of you kids that like music, I thought I'd share. Best part about it, you can sign up for free. Listen to every thing. For free. Pretty great. It's also got an iPhone app and an Android Phone app. You can take all of this fantastic music with you anyway.

There was a lump of a body in it, but she couldn't tell if that lump was breathing or not. She pulled herself up and out of the warmth of her sheets, not realizing she wasn't wearing any pants, and slowly lifted the lip of the covers over the lump. Madeline was still there and Kallisti let out a breath of relief. A few more seconds passed and she checked for breathing. Still breathing. If Harley hadn't been lying about her dying in this . . . 'previous' timeline, that meant that they had saved her from dying. A relief. She sat back down on her bed and began to really, for the first time, think on what Harley had told her. If Madeline really had died, how had that affected Kallisti? What had Kal done? Had she committed suicide in grief? Hah. Suicide, what a joke. Kallisti may have been capable of loving and losing, but she wasn't so stupid . . . Self-preservation - suicide was a last resort. At this day and time in Timeline One, Madeline Moore had no particularly strong feelings for Kallisti Lein, and the same was said going the other way. There was a potential, but both of them were much smarter than that. No romance, after all. She laughed under her breath; they could always have a platonic relationship. Harley had many of those, and he still was not dead. Perhaps it would be best to stay away from Madeline. Kallisti sighed dismally as the thought forced her up and into clothing. Perhaps she didn't want to stay away from Madeline. They could be . . . friends? Friends. She might like that. But no romance to speak of. After dressing and putting clothing on, she wondered if they had all really been sent back in time to save those who had died. If it really had been a demon, why would she do something to benefit the victims? Perhaps to spite Crestatia. Someone should have asked. Kallisti left a note for Madeline ( albeit, it was on strange paper ) and left the room for the dining hall to have a bit of breakfast. ( TUMBLR • WEARING !! • MASK !! )( YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATE ) • ( MOOD :: HERE ) Vanille had been up long before Temperance tried to give her a rude awakening. It was mandatory for people like her to be up before the crack of dawn. She'd even had a different mask on, different clothes on, and everything! To be honest, the whipping of the blankets almost caused her to kick TwattyPants in the face, hard. She wouldn't have minded that, really, but she had to keep her composure. Disappointing! ❝Hero Anthony!❞ she said, jumping up to make herself noticeable from behind the taller TwattyPants. Her mask was a little loose, and so after jumping, she tightened up the white mask and lovingly traced the black and teal accents with her finger. She hoped that her white sclera ( they made her normally blue eyes all white ) contacts wouldn't freak anyone out! There was another girl with Anthony who was taller than her, and had long dark, pretty hair. The Hero had a Princess, maybe? Or maybe it was his sister. Not that Anthony wasn't capable of getting a Princess, but the girl looked more like a loving, older sister. She smiled. She'd always wanted an older sister. Oh, that's right. Madeline - how was she? Not that Vanille knew what she looked like at all, but maybe she was okay! Hmm. Hmm. HMMM. Maybe she should go check on them . . . She nodded her head to herself, confirming. ❝'Scuse me!❞ she announced to TwattyPants, Anthony, and Anthony's lady-friend. Twatty was in the way! ❝I've gotta go check on some other stuff. I'll be back soon!❞ Vanille slid under Twatty and jumped up and around Anthony smoothly, and then she was in the hall, waving at the three of them,❝Good luck Hero, I'm counting on you!❞ Vanille took the stairs all the way down to the lobby and asked for a few room numbers. The man looked at her, a bit frightened, but she tried to calm him by giving him her best smile, and after ten minutes of waiting, she had the room numbers she was waiting for and began bounding up the stairs once more, looking for the girl named Eleanora Lewis. She was supposedly here with her brother, Simon, but Vanille wasn't sure. When she arrived on the floor where said girl was supposed to be, she knocked on the door and waited for the right person to open it. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Was she mad for leaving her? Had she decided to change rooms after all? Were they still . . . whatever you'd call them? For a moment, Madeline looked panicked and Kallisti worried - did she know? What Harley had told her was truly horrible, and she didn't know how she could let herself actually believe him. The theory was simply too outrageous - but if it were true, then why this morning, why this day? Was it truly to save Madeline and Temperance from death? She wished that someone had the mind to ask this . . . 'Analynne'. " What are you getting at . . . ? " She sounded slightly defensive, and Kallisti could feel her face going red. What if this was all one big ploy by Harley - a practical joke because he discovered something about Kallisti and decided to use it against her. A *******, he was, if that was true. " This isn't a good place to talk, " he said, " You mind going into your room? " She looked at her cousin with a bit of disdain, but perhaps the hallway where they could be heard wasn't the best place to speak of this. Reluctantly, she nodded, and then led the both of them into her and Madeline's room. When they were in there, she took a seat at the foot of the bed she had claimed when first coming into the room and took a deep breath. Her only consolation was that maybe Madeline wouldn't die because of this. Harley took a seat at the small table that was in the middle of the room. " Alright, " Harley started, " About 43 days from now, I go to a meeting at Antilum Laboratories in Brookridge that's hosted by a Brookridge Academy Student named Theodore Weldon. There's a girl who's at this meeting named Eleanora Lewis, and she's a vessel for a demon/witch whose name I probably can't say because I'm not sure if it's safe to say it. After the witch/demon was summoned, she reset the days to this day - twelve days after we all received the email from Crestatia, " Kallisti was half irritated, but at least he was making it a quick explanation. To back him up, she took over from what he started, " Tonight, something you and Miss Temperance did both got you . . . killed. " she said hesitantly, " You had confessed your love for someone, though we are unsure of who. Harley believes that for Miss Temperance, it was Cherno Plume, and for you . . . " she trailed off. Harley huffed slightly, and then took it again, " Not sure it really matters. The point is that you broke one of the major rules and so you and Temperance were killed for it. Now here we are, trying to make sure that you don't fuck up again. " he finished, crossing his arms. He'll be honest, he didn't care for Madeline in the least, but if Kallisti found out that she died, it'd probably destroy her, and he definitely didn't want that. For her sake, he'd do his damnedest to keep this chick alive and kicking. " Now the point of me telling you this is that you don't confess your love for anyone tonight, " he started once more, " No matter what you really feel. I mean, unless you're up for dying again, then go for it. " He looked meaningfully at Kallisti, " Well . . . Now that we've warned you, I can get going. It's almost the end of the day, and I'm eager to see what happens for tomorrow. " He walked over to Madeline and whispered in her ear, " It was Kallisti you confessed to. You probably shouldn't say anything about it. " Harley gave his cousin a cheerful waved and then left the room to sleep in his own ten minutes later. After Harley left, there was a silence in the room and she tried not to make eye contact with Madeline. It was already awful enough that what they told her might have been a lie, but if it wasn't, and Madeline would not believe, what was Kallisti to do? She sighed an flopped back onto the bed, not caring for appearances at the moment. " Please believe us . . . " she whispered. She didn't want Madeline to die. A few minutes later, she spoke again, " We . . . should probably sleep now . . . " she said, and then left into the bathroom to change into sweats and a night shirt. Normally, she slept without the pants, but only because no one else was around to see her shame. Meekly, she climbed into bed and pulled the covers up to her face, " Good night, Madeline . . . Perhaps we can . . . " Her throat closed up, " . . . talk more tomorrow. " She felt like she had to force herself to fall asleep that night. ( TUMBLR • WEARING • MASK )( YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATE ) • ( MOOD :: SLEEEEEPY ) TwattyPants had gone into the restroom looking pretty green and never came back out. Vanille thought she'd died or something, so she went to go check on her. She was just sleeping. In the restroom??? What a strange girl! With a sigh, she walked over to the girl, heaved her slightly larger body onto her back and then put her on one of the two beds in her room. Vanille had to watch her. Should she leave? Should she stay? No doubt TwattyPants would get mad if she stayed . . . Vanille giggled. It was decided. She would stay. But what about her mask? She couldn't keep it on all night, otherwise she'd break it for sure! With a heavy sigh, she turned off the lights and made sure no one could see her face. ❝Good night!❞ she announced as quietly as she could, and then she hopped onto the bed and giddily snuggled under the covers, took off her mask, let down her hair, and then fell asleep. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

He had pretty much explained to her everything that Vanille had told her, and then some. Throughout the explanation, he gauged her facial expressions which ranged from horror, to disgust, to right-out non-believing. When he talked about Madeline and the way she had died, Kallisti was extremely hurt and vulnerable looking. If Harley needed any kind of confirmation about . . . feelings, this was it. But the question was, did Madeline feel the same way? He'd asked her several questions about the other girl and their interactions. When she originally refused to answer, he used the words " Do you really, really want to risk her dying - losing her again? " and they seemed to do the trick, although she was still overall uncomfortable. " This is all very . . . ludicrous. " she finally said to him when he was done, " I suppose . . . Considering the circumstances . . . It is not . . . an outrageous, far fetched idea . . . " Her blue eyes narrowed at him piercingly, " Regardless, how am I to be sure that you are not lying? " Harley sighed. A tough question to answer, and he'd asked Vanille the same thing, but she trusted him enough to show him her face . . . " Look, I know it sounds crazy. Hell, I know it's crazy, but I have no proof. All I know is that tonight, Madeline and Temperance could die, and this is our chance to save them. " He honestly didn't know what else to tell her because whether or not she believed him was completely up to her. But if she really had some kind of . . . feelings for Madeline, then he knew she couldn't just let this go. " If you are lying to me, Harley Jackson, " she began quietly, " you really will regret it. " Ah. There it was. She believed him - albeit, against her better judgment, but their was no other kind of belief sometimes. Damn, he wished that he would've given Anthony or Vanille his phone number so that they could all checkup on each other. He wondered if Vanille had found Temperance in the baths where he last saw her, or if she had found Madeline . . . wherever the hell she was. Kallisti was looking at him expectantly and he stood up, " Now, we've gotta see if we can find Madeline. " he told her, and she stood with him. They were two very unlikely partners, but family stuck together right? Haha. Leins were practically forced to stick together. If they didn't, they ended up like . . . He visibly shook his head. " Madeline and I share a room, " Kallisti told him, and began walking off the deck and back into the room, " She may still be there, depending. Neither of us were . . . feeling particularly well. " Harley followed her as he opened the door and walked down the hallway on the sixth floor of the hotel, towards the elevator. Harley wished that, if this time traveling thing really was true, he remembered what had happened before the jump. He'd have more knowledge on the people around him, and he'd be able to figure out why Kallisti died. She hadn't said much on the fact that she had died, only that it was going to happen sooner or later, and she had accepted that. Still, for some reason, she hadn't wanted to accept Madeline dying - because of something she might have done. Must've been torture for her to know that. Their elevator went down three floors, and then the door slid open. The pair stepped out and saw a lithe girl walking down the hallway. " . . . Madeline, " Kallisti said, slightly breathless, and Harley rolled his eyes. " Hey, M. " he called out for her, " We've got something you might wanna hear. The other girl rolled her eyes and sighed. ❝Fine.❞ she said, ❝We'll go to mine so I can kick you out as soon as I wish.❞ Vanille laughed, ❝You certainly are Miss TwattyPants, aren't you?❞ she said with a giggle, trying to make it sound as annoying as possible. She was really against going to Temperance's room because she said she could kick them out whenever she wanted, but Vanille wouldn't be having that. This twat would listen to what they had to say, whether Vanille had to kill her again or not. When Vanille walked into the room, her nose scrunched up. She reaaaaally would have preferred her own room, but beggars couldn't be choosers. From the balcony of her hotel room, she could see the woman's bath area, and low and behold, there was her target, sitting in the bath! She made few movements so Vanille found her rather boring, but when she looked to her left, she saw the men's bathing area. . . . Wait - why would they allow that! But it was very lucky that she had looked when she did, because there was Cherno Plume! At the same time, both Cherno and Temperance walked into the building. Vanille leaped from her balcony and jumped over her bed, running to the door and then down the hallway, they'd be meeting in the lobby, wouldn't they? No good, no good! Hopefully, Hero Anthony had seen Cherno was was keeping a hawk's eye on him. She deemed the elevator too slow for her, so she took the stairs and jumped down and down until she was running out of the door that led to the lobby. She couldn't go back to her room - what if Madeline was still there? Not that it was necessarily a bad thing . . . Perhaps she should try the baths, maybe relaxing would help her. That ominous, nauseating feeling had not yet left her, and she wondered why that was. Maybe she had no real reason to worry. Still, it didn't seem like a very good idea to stay in the main area of the hotel, lest he should find her. Why was he here, anyway? How horrible - had he known she was coming? Had he followed her here? Why couldn't he just . . . leave her alone? Kallisti sighed and looked at the door to the locker room; she should go. For now, she would leave and go somewhere else. After a little while of walking, Kallisti realized that this place was actually very large and probably had many sections to explore - this was good, as she would like to be as far away from Harley as possible . . . She found herself in the lobby area, where there were many nice pieces of furniture and art around. Kallisti walked across the lobby and soon found herself in the locker rooms, feeling the slight warmth of the springs that weren't too far away. Minding the other people around her, not that there were many, she picked a locker and opened it, finding a fluffy-looking towel and a white robe inside. She was wearing a lot of white today, wasn't she? In a quick enough pace, hoping no one watched her, Kallisti began to remove all of her clothing, using one arm to cover up her breasts and then pulling the towel from the locker, wrapping it tightly around her curvaceous form. The towel was soft . . . When she looked around, it seemed like no one saw her. She sighed in relief and then left for the baths. How strange . . . This all felt so . . . deja-vu-ish. She couldn't help but feel that she had gone through these same exact motions before. The area was wide and open to the sky, steam swirling up from the inviting baths. All of hermuscles began to relax, even before she had touched the water. It was nice, she thought to herself, as her feet padded against the stone ground. There was no one around either - Oh. There was. And she almost cringed at the fact. Temperance Spike. Kallisti recalled the events of Lacey's before it had exploded. That girl had been extremely rude to her, and really, Kallisti wouldn't have minded putting an arrow in her head. She would have wholly invited it, in fact. Before she could think anymore, she felt some sort of relief at seeing Temperance, there, in the springs. Alive and well. The feeling almost disgusted her, but she couldn't help herself. " Kallisti, " said someone from behind her, and she spun around. Oh. No. Harley. " Before you turn me down, I really need to talk to you. " Hah! He must have known that she wasn't going to buy into that nonsense. She wouldn't dare give someone like him the time of day for anything. He probably only wanted to - " It's about Madeline. " She stopped and looked at him. Then back at the baths. Then back at him. And glared. But Harley was unaffected. In fact, at her reaction, his look as almost . . . pitiable, but honest. What was she even doing, considering letting him talk to her? She must be out of sorts. Most definitely. " he replied. Cherno . . . Cherno . . . Cherno Plume? " And I think the Master of Logic fell under her spell. Even after she . . . went away, he missed her, I think. " Cherno Plume, the Master of Logic, and Temperance Spike, the Evil Temptress. Harley wanted to laugh, what a match. But the real question about it was . . . Was there anything really there? Did Cherno confess or was it Temperance? He assumed the latter, because she was the one that died. When had they gotten so close? In school, they were in two completely different classes of people, but here, in this class of email, could they really match up? She was a feisty one, but Cherno was a patient, couldn't see bad in pretty much . . . anyone. . . . He guessed it could work. " I wonder where Temperance is now . . . " he said thoughtfully, and then looked at Vanille. She was gazing around the lobby, as if looking for someone who might be listening to them. He sat down on the cushioned bench, next to Anthony, trying to think this all through. This was pretty crazy. Both Anthony and Vanille . . . 'time traveled' and now they knew what would happen next. Now, here he was, with them, trying to save the lives of two girls he really didn't care for emotionally. He . . . guessed he didn't mind, but if that email was true, and they really were going to die in . . . what, eighty-eight days, then what did prolonging their lives until then matter? But when he looked at Anthony, he decided that it did matter. The kid had experienced their deaths once, his own death once . . . So maybe it was kind of worth it, for him. " Anthony, " he started, " I think it'd be a good idea for you to keep an eye on Cherno. I don't know him that well, so he probably wouldn't be that compelled to listen to me. It might also be good to check in on Temperance if you can." he explained, standing up and stretching, " Since Kallisti is my . . . close relation, I'll keep an eye on her, and Madeline, " He glanced at Vanille. Her shoulders were slightly sagged and he figured she was a bit down because she wasn't exactly involved, even though she had traveled, too. " As for you, " he said to her, " You should keep an eye on both Madeline and Temperance. We'll have an eye on all four of them. I think that between the three of us, we'll be able to save them, what say you? " Vanille nodded vigorously. " Alright. We've got our jobs, we should get to them. " he told the both of them, and before he could wave goodbye to Vanille, she was off. What a strange chick. He waved to Anthony, and set off, " Good luck, Hero. That had to be it. Harley gave a laugh at the rest of his answer. " Okay, " he said, " I . . . think that the two of them broke the same rule, 'no romance'. If it was at the same time, or during the same . . . time frame, I don't know. It seems like a pretty big deal, so it had to have been today. Or. Tonight, actually. " he explained. Say that Madeline confessed her love for Kallisti - just a thought, a guess, he didn't even know if they went into that or something, who would Temperance have confessed to? She had a boyfriend, but they weren't together anymore, or did he hear that school gossip wrong? Probably not. They were together before the email was sent. So what happened after? Maybe she ended it because she was scared, but she still loved him anyway? Confessed her love for him tonight? Ehh, that didn't feel . . . right. " Who would Temperance tell she loved, or confessed to, tonight? " He looked to Anthony, " What happened the last time, before everyone went to sleep? Anything . . . big that had to do with Temperance. Spotted in the baths? Met someone? "

He didn't even know he had it in him, but he was satisfied with their results. " Yeah, I think I can . . . " Anthony said, " I have to actually. Have no clue why they were being targeted, though. " The gears in Harley's mind began to work their wonders. What did those two girls have in common that got them both killed in the same way, at the same time, in the same place? Their personalities were very similar in some ways, and they were both involved in the shady type . . . Hmm. Suicide? He didn't think it was a suicide, from what Vanille explained to him. Someone killed them - but who? It had to be Crestatia. Definitely. Whoever her vessel at the time was didn't matter. It was why they died. Did they tell anyone outside of the people from the email? He had no way of knowing. They were both in this hotel, right now. He looked over his shoulder at the clerk. Of course. He could ask which rooms they were staying in. Neither of them would trust him for sure, but he had his ways. He held his hand up to Vanille and Anthony, then walking over to the clerk's desk, " Hello, " he said, and the man looked up at him, " Could you tell me the room numbers of Madeline Moore and Temperance Spike? " The man looked at him for a long moment, trying to find ulterior motives behind his question, but when finding none, shrugged, " Madeline Moore would be in room 318, and Temperance Spike would be in room 415. " Room 318. That was Kallisti's room. Ah. " I think I might have found something, " he said when he came back to Anthony and Vanille. " What, what is it? " Vanille asked anxiously, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet. Only once, briefly, or maybe a few times . . . He had seen the way Kallisti acted around her, and he knew, there was something there. Friends? Neither of them were the type for each other in friendship. Well, regardless, he knew that they had to have some sort of . . . thing going. But he would need confirmation. " I'm going to find Kallisti, " he said, " Vanille, you go find Madeline. " And then he looked to Anthony, " Unfortunately, The Evil Temptress - " Temptress. Temptress . . . Ah. " Hey, Anthony . . . " he said, thinking on it and forgetting his cousin for just a moment, " Why do you call her that, anyway? 'The Evil Temptress', I mean. "

Temperance and M, I believe. " he answered. Vanille told Harley that Anthony died three days before the time jump, so if he really did remember everything that happened up until then, this must be pretty hard for him. Harley felt . . . bad. His heart ( though most believed it to either be black or not exist ) thumped in pain for the boy. So young, so innocent. Harley was Anthony once. There were time when he missed that rosy film that covered everything. About comforting - Harley wasn't good at that sort of thing, he'll admit it, but he was protective, and Anthony seemed to be hurting. What should he do? " Well, " he started, " The first time around, this was beyond our control. We can be a little more perfect this time by being in the right place at the right time, " he explained to Anthony, trying to lift his spirits, " Things don't have to go the way they did the first time. " He wasn't used to pep talks because he never had to give them to anyone, nor himself, but the words seemed to come from his mouth easily. " I know this is . . . scary. " he started again, " But we have control this time, and now you can be a hero. Maybe, if you do this right. And if you want, we can even help you. But you've gotta keep a clear mind. Now . . . We've got to find out what Madeline and Temperance did that got them killed. " He actually didn't really care about either of those girls. They were only interesting to him for their insecurities and sexuality. He felt bad for Anthony, though, and didn't want him to suffer their deaths twice, so for that, they were worth saving. Vanille gave a small, quiet clap at his speech and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow, but she only waved at him happily. He sighed at her immaturity, and looked back at Anthony, " So do you think we can manage to change things up in round two? " xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
[ T U M B L R • CURRENTLY OBSERVING : ANTHONY EVANS // VANILLE • L A T E S T ][ OOC : MORE TIME-TRAVEL SHENANIGANS?? ][ DAY : 12 - 2/3 ] • [ DECEMBER 11, 2012 ] • [ LOCATION : HOTEL HALLS // LOBBY ][ YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATRED ] • [ MOOD : THOUGHTFUL // FOCUSED ] [/url] When the girl had taken off her mask, Harley was pretty much expecting to see some kind of deformity, but the only thing that was strange about her face was the X-mark on her left cheek and her lack of irises. He wasn't going to ask about the X, but when mentioning the eyes, she said they were just contacts and that it was 'dangerous' for her to let anyone see her real eyes. If Harley were honest, he really was hoping that this strange girl was lying about this . . . time traveling, that people died because of Crestatia and her game, but with the deaths of four other people who were on the list . . . Not to mention her face was earnest and honest, and every now and then she would trip up on her words, but for the most part . . . Well, suffice to say, she wasn't lying. Now there was only one more thing to check out; the one thing she told him that bothered him the most: Kallisti dying. " About Kallisti . . . dying, " he began slowly, not liking the thought of that, " is that really true, too? " Vanille had been lying her head on the table, looking dead-tired, but she seemed to have gathered enough energy to life her head and give him a very solemn look. She didn't nod. She didn't shake her head. She didn't blink, look away, move any other part of her body . . . She definitely wasn't lying. His face fell and he began to think about the circumstances of her death. A broken rule? Just for the hell of it? Had he killed her? Someone else? Suicide? No, that was a broken rule . . . " Maybe . . . That can be averted, somehow. " he said, and she nodded in agreement. Harley stood up from the table and gave a few, wide stretches. This was a lot of information to process, and with someone like Vanille, it was very valuable. He'd never met her in his life, he'd never seen her around or anything, but she seemed to know a lot about everyone who was involved in the email. She'd even brought up names he'd never met. " . . . This means that Anthony wasn't lying. " he said suddenly, and looked at Vanille whose mask had mysteriously appeared on her face again. He didn't know why she wore it, she had a relatively pretty face, but he didn't question it, " You're coming with me. I have to find a friend and tell him that he wasn't imagining it. " She nodded at him and he began walking down the hall. Had Anthony gone down to the springs, where Harley was headed before? There was an entrance to them in the lobby, so that'd be the best place to run into him if he were. But what if he had gone somewhere else, with that girl, Eleanora? Eleanora. Vanille had said something about Eleanora being the 'demon' woman named Analynne. What did that mean? In the auditorium, the day that Thomas Adams was announced dead, Crestatia had appeared before all of them for the first time. She possessed someone, though. Anthony. Did that mean that in order to appear to them, Crestatia needed a vessel? If the same were true for this . . . other 'demon', then was Eleanora her vessel? If this was all true, Harley wondered if that girl knew. About five minutes later, Harley ( with Vanille skipping behind him ) walked into the lobby and looked towards the baths. No sign of Anthony over there. He looked around some more and then saw him sitting on a bench. " Anthony, " he called, " Hey. Look. About the time traveling thing, I think you're right, and this girl has done it too. " he explained, " What do you remember from before? Was there someone who was going to die tonight? " As if on cue, Vanille did a showy jump out from behind Harley and looked at Anthony, " You're alive again! " she said excitedly. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
