Okay, so there is usually between 300 and 500 gallons of water in a hot tub

1 gallon is about 3.7 liters for those of us who don't use stupid measurements

1 packet of ramen noodles uses about 400mls of water
so each gallon would make 3700 / 400 = 14

so 14 packets of noodles per gallon, meaning

14 packets per gallon X average of 300 gallons = 14 X 300 = 4200 packets

and

14 packets per gallon X average of 500 gallons = 14 X 500 = 7000 packets

And as for sodium

my packet of ramen has 731mg of sodium, so

731mg X 4200 = ~3000000mg or about 6 pounds

and

731mg X 7000 = ~5000000mg or about 11 pounds

that's 6 to 11 pounds or 3 to 5 kilos of pure sodium
