Oh, good. The rabbit healed herself, leaving the raven haired girl free to do as she pleased. Hoping that the seemingly stronger Kel would take care of the gauntlets Yana turned her attention to the things feet. Seemed better at the time, to split focus like this, and so she attacked them.
[ LEVEL THIRTEEN - BGM13/2 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] When dinner was finally finished, Victoria called the two kids down to eat. However once sat in front of the salmon, his favorite dish, he could not bring himself to eat more than a few bites. It was just so hard to move. "Sorry auntie...I kinda wasted it..." he was told not to worry and that perhaps he should just go to bed. Nodding at the idea he got up and left the dinning room, trudging up the stairs where he headed towards the bathroom. A nice, long shower helped with his mood, though once again it was only temporarily. Once he was out and dressed he returned downstairs where he was allowed to grab the ps3 and bring it back up with him to the guest bedroom. From there he could finally try out Cherno's present, finding it fun but challenging. Though that made it all the better when he started beating each level he got to. Throughout the evening the sounds of sword clashing, button mashing, and victory songs filled his head, replacing the awful thoughts from before. And at one point he found himself on the floor in front of the tv, has he had passed out as it would seem his energy was completely drained.
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] Elizabeth found herself drifting to Blackpowder Woods again, even though she had been there many times already. It was simply that the cabin there was the only private place she knew of where she could sleep without being bothered. Though the teens that stayed... They did not come back through her first night here, but what if they did later? That would be an issue. An issue...for another time. The place was clear now so she went inside, finding a room with a bed this time rather than sleeping on the couch. But it felt early still...and her head raced. She did what had to be done. They deserved it! But...would he see it this way? Oh, if he found out it was her would he hate her? A sort of sad laugh came from this thought as she laid down. "He must understand...he must..." Muttering this over and over she closed her eyes, trying to find the words she'd say to her brother. Nothing seemed like it would work, and in frustration Elizabeth kept turning over. It took what seemed like the longest time before she finally fell asleep. [ LEVEL THIRTEEN - BGM13/2 - STATUS: ??? // SOPHIE'S EYES ARE ACTUALLY BLUE, BUT TOO LAZY TO EDIT - UPDATE ] Though he no longer cried Anthony sniffled every now and then, having stayed at his mother's bedside. Even when his stomach growled he didn't even think of moving. It was not until his aunt returned when he was pried away, despite his protests. He did manage to give her a kiss on the cheek before leaving though, promising to come back tomorrow. After being ushered into the parking lot he saw that his aunt still drove a black ford. The stickers he and Sophie put on the inside of the doors were still there as well. Thinking back on that time made him smile, even if only for a moment. When they got to Victoria's house he remembered how close she lived to Abby and winced at the thought, deciding to go in as quickly as possible and run upstairs to where he remembered the guest room being. Unlike the first floor it was untouched by water, making it dry and safe for the bags. Moments later Sophie peered in, looking too shocked to speak at first though finally informing him that dinner would be ready later. He thanked her before she scurried away. Once she was gone he decided to make an update and check tumblr, just to see who was still alive. And with that Anthony laid down, finding comfort in the blankets that hid him away from the world.
oh yeah pretty sure i've seen you around back then
Glancing over at the bunny she realized she had a magic user among them. If she knew healing spells then that would surely come in handy later. "Alright," she muttered, smiling as she ran up to attack the gauntlets.
[ LEVEL THIRTEEN - BGM13/2 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] Few familiar faces boarded the bus, John for one. And the witch from school as well. She was cool, being someone who believed in something past what others considered normal. He never really got the chance to really speak to her though, only knowing about her powers through others. If it were any other time he'd try to talk to her but as of right now he really didn't want to interact with anyone. It was just too hard to do. Bringing out his phone again he decided to download the first puzzle game he saw and began playing it. Winning was making him feel better. In fact he may even end the day on a happy note at this rate. However that would soon be ruined as the phone began playing its ring tone and a call popped up, covering the game. He answered the phone but the line stayed silent for a while. "Hello?" "A-Anthony? Is that you?" "Auntie Vic? What's wrong?" "It's your parents... They're...well your father is... And your mother's in City Centre Hospital... She may not... You need to be here. Do you need a ride? I can send someone, just you really need to be here." "I think it's close by. I'll get there. Soon, okay?" They exchanged goodbyes before the call ended, leaving Anthony in an anxious mood. Two people had already died, making today a bad day. Thirteen. It really was an unlucky number, wasn't it? During the ride it he overhead the witch speaking, but remained focus on his phone. What if something else happened? He had to remain focus, just in case. In fact he only looked up after the bus stopped for a time longer than any stop light or sign would cause, signaling for its passengers to get off. After doing so, bags in tow, he made his way to another bus which took him to the hospital. Once there he found his way to the critical care section, after a nurse told him where to find his mother, and instead ran into Victoria. She told him that his parents were in an accident rather than the truth and that his father did not make it. "Dad?" The last time he referred to the man as his father had been years. But after hearing this he broke down and began crying in the hall. Shortly after this scene he was in the room with his mother, who had been hooked up to a bunch of stuff, whatever they were being unimportant to him. All that mattered was his mom, who he kept his focus on while sitting beside her and holding her hand. Sure, they had bot been the best parents. But..they weren't evil. And he didn't want anyone else to die, least of all someone he knew and cared for. "Mom...mommy, please wake up..."
i was going to ask if you remade but in the end obviously didn't. what was your username back then?
you seem to only joined this year so yeah, haven't been active this year until...maybe two months ago? might even be three not sure.
Username change recently, was Monochrome, and also took a long hiatus that last since before the move until recently. Those would be my guesses.
[ ◦ ♥ ◦ ♠ ◦ ♣ ◦ ♦ ◦ ] Once on the sidewalk in front of the hotel the cold air crashed into Elizabeth, effecting mostly her legs. Even with her love of winter and whatever it may bring even she had to shiver. Still, she felt no desire to go and change so she would simply have to endure. Pulling out her phone once more she dialed 9-1-1, hoping by now there was no chance of her parents being saved. "Yes? I'd like to report a murder. It's the Westermack Hotel, room 427. The monsters have finally been slain," as her baby brother would have put it. And with that she hung up, tossing the cell in the nearest trash can before putting her gloved hands into her pockets before walking off. [ LEVEL THIRTEEN - BGM13 - STATUS: ??? - UPDATE ] Anthony looked to Heidi with confusion and horror. She kept making herself bleed, and the red sight was making him feel ill. He was really starting to hate seeing blood. So instead he tried to keep his focus on Harley, hearing him assume the dead had been Madeline and Temperance. The victims really were from the email? That was hardly surprising, but the two were the last ones he expected. They were both so...scary. And tough. If anything he would have placed bets on them being one of the last ones alive. Unsure how to feel about their passing he remained quiet, looking at his shoes the entire time. As he did this he continued to listen, realizing that Harley would watch over Heidi. That was good. If the guy saved him he could surely watch out of that girl, probably. And Altair was connected to her too, so she would be safe. "I need to...get my stuff," this was probably the first time in ages that he actually mumbled things instead of saying them clearly. He wasn't even sure if they heard him but it was not as if he was waiting for a reply. Instead he left immediately after saying that and returned to his room. Once there he grabbed the two bags under his bed, one filled with gifts and the other with clothes. With them tugged along he returned to the lobby, not caring to look for the others, before stepping outside and going to where the bus was supposed to show. While outside he placed everything on an empty spot on a bench and took out his phone. There were no missed calls but when he checked tumblr he had a new message. His eyes were stuck on the message. They were to meet in person? He did not really wish to face her at the time being, so replied with a lie, stating 'sure, but busy now. later, okay?' and sent it before tucking the phone back in his pocket. While doing this the bus they had all been waiting for finally pulled up so he grabbed his things and picked them up, managing to carry both in one hand, as he headed for it. When he stepped aboard he looked for an empty seat, finding one near the back which he took and kept his things in his laps. It was an awkward fit as the bags were nearly in his face, but they had to be kept safe.
