Depends on your computer to be honest. My laptop has 6 GBs of RAM and a 2.4 GHz processor and it takes me 45 minutes at most to convert the video of Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete that I have into an editable format. The original video being 6.54 GBs while the copy that is used for editing is around 35 GBs.

This thread needs more activity. How's everybody doing with their parts? Great! I'll add your song to the list. More often than not issues like these arise when the format you're editing with was compressed with a codec meant for distribution(like XviD or H.264) and not for editing(like UTVideo and Lagarith). I wrote up this guide that should be able to help. I personally use the method described in this guide to convert .mkv, .mp4, and even the videos from KHV and it works flawlessly for me. I suggest freeing up some hard drive space though. Unless you already have a lot then it shouldn't be a problem.
More often than not, it's because of the nostalgia. We watched it as kids when we obviously didn't know that there were better things and we thought it was fucking awesome and when we watch it later in life, we remember how awesome we thought it was and enjoy that feeling.
Troy Baker voiced Kanji and Shadow Kanji from Persona 4. They sure as hell don't sound the same when they talk to each other. Billy West is also pretty awesome. In Futurama alone he was the Professor, Fry, Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, Nixon and half of any background/supporting characters you see. Then there's Mark Hamill. The Joker and Master Eraqus sound nothing alike.
Steven Blum voiced both Leeron from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Amon from The Legend of Korra. He was also Guilmon from Digimon Tamers! The guy's range is pretty fucking versatile. It's scary.
...and sort of a sadomasochist for what I'm about to do. Right now I have the book Fifty Shades of Grey. Y'know...the book that set the record for fastest-selling paperback since Harry Potter. How did it do this? I don't know considering it started off as Twilight fanfiction but it's time to find out. Maybe I'll find something worthwhile in reading this book, maybe I'll have a good laugh or maybe I'll come to believe that the future of literature is doomed if this sold so well. Wish me luck. Oh and recommend good books for me to read after this so I can recover from the shock.

I AM ON A ROLL! I was able to write up almost 7000 words for a chapter of a story in two days. Considering how it takes me forever to write up half of that, I think I did well. I was also able to outline three other stories and started writing up a script for a project I'm working on with another member. And besides writing stuff, I was able to work more on this and actually start working on an AMV for the first time in forever. But now that I'm back, I guess there's really no hope for me finishing those things.
