For anyone unfamiliar with the faces you might stumble upon here at LPTP, there has been a character description made by our beloved Midnight Star! Click the spoiler to see it. Spoiler Once upon a time in a strange unfamiliar land there was a small group of people, a mismatched lot by all means but this group together could do anything. Each of them was unique and brought something different to the team.The group has grown and evolved over time, new people have joined and others have left though still pop back every so often. This is the main LP2P from all of the threads, you are likely to find a selection of these currently active. Let me introduce you. First we have Chris, self-proclaimed leader of the group though there is some debate about that. He’s got no shortage of confidence and has such a style and elegance around him that gains him respect. He always appears to know what he’s doing. He fights with that same elegance and that simple smile, his twin blades a blur. Next is Enzy, the heart and soul of the group. Never without a smile upon her face, she holds the group together. Her bright outlook is like a ray of sunshine in the dark days they face. With her calm resolve, she often solves the party’s disputes sensibly, though still enjoys a good laugh. She does not fight, she’s the group’s healer and second in command. FF is ruled by his heart, his passion as strong as an erupting volcano. He cares deeply about his friends and will protect them fiercely, no matter the cost to himself. He will fight for what he believes in and will never give in. He wields a large broad sword with the all courage of a lion, never running from his fight. Feenie is the one who can make light of any situation and bring a laugh to the group when it is most needed. He can support anyone and is always dependable; he will never break his word or let you down. He is smarter than he sometimes lets on and can fight strongly too. He always has a cheeky grin and fights with a great showmanship, using his bo staff to great effect. Don’t underestimate this joker. Kelly is ice cool; she is perhaps the darkest of the group and sees things for what they are. She does not mess around with the frills and doesn’t fool herself. She takes it all in her stride, and nothing appears to phase her. She enjoys the darker side of things and can find efficient solutions, facing straight up to the hard truths of life. Her tongue is as sharp as her daggers that never leave her sight; this is one girl you do not want to mess with. Then you’ve got Midnight, the little girl of the group. She loves to have fun, go hyper and mess around but there’s more to her than meets the eye. When she wants to be she’s a force to be reckoned with, she can be clever and is always there to help when need be. She’s a mini scientist, with a host of chemicals up her sleeves, ready to make an explosion. Then when she’s got her bow, be afraid, she’s an expert archer and this little girl can kick ass with an innocent smile on her face. Risk is always ready for action, he is quiet but his actions speak louder than words. His mind always thinking ahead, and his mood is as unpredictable as weather. You never know what you’ll get but it’s guaranteed to be interesting. His fighting style changes with his mood so he chooses to go without a weapon. This makes him no weaker as he fights with his hands using his skills in multiple martial arts. Yet another character in the group is Machazo, and there is never a quiet moment when he’s around. He always seems to have a glint in his eye like he’s up to some mischief, but what that mischief is remains a mystery. He loves to tease others and has an obsession with Belgian waffles. His weapon, a frying pan, is somewhat unconventional but before you dismiss it, it is surprisingly effective. His enemies soon learn this when boiling hot waffle mixture burns their face off before they get knocked out with a frying pan to the head. Another often found with the group is Teddy, who brings along a little good old-fashioned innocence. In an ever-harsher world, this brings a breath of fresh air. Despite his innocence, he is not so vulnerable as he is able to utilise a multiple of little contraptions and traps to protect himself and help the group. It is not uncommon for Makaze to appear out of nowhere and make his presence known. This controversial guy can debate like a true master, winning virtually any argument he chooses to. This also has the side affect of being incredibly infuriating and can make a sane person pull their hair out in frustration. Despite this being a strong weapon in itself, he also fights with poisoned knife. Cat, our time travel expert, she knows everything there is to know about time travel and inter dimensional stuff. She is always fun to be around and also noticeably has a thing for older men (one in particular). Her weapon, if you could call it that, is a sonic screwdriver and is most useful with technology or robotic enemies. She’s got a mean high kick too should they not be made of metal. Now as you can see, the group is mismatched and as odd as can be but if you combine all these people and skills, you get a formula not to be sniffed at. You get a team, ready to take on the world and who are just about capable of anything.

It's been far too long and I'm feelnig rusty. I thought I might try my hand at sig making once again, I'm moderately happy with them but I feel I can do better so CnC would be greatly appreciated. I ended up with about 8 different versions because I was experiementing with text, gradient mapping and other general colouring. Of course it would be Doctor Who related :D and I couldn't help but think of Llave as I made these. These were my best 3, in my opinion: V1: V2: V3: Others: Spoiler V4: I felt these were too dark... Hey everyone! Suggested by the lovely members мσησ¢няσмє and Llave de Espada we at long last have a new Art competition in the Graphic art section: Traditional art of the month! (inventive title I know) This will run similarly to Signature of the Week but instead of you creating computer graphics we’ll have pieces of artwork ranging from Comic strips to oil paintings. The topic of your piece each round will change and can range from a certain video game to maybe a certain type of medium. Ideas for the topics can be suggested in this thread and ANY idea is welcome. This will have a longer time limit than Signature of the week as we know a piece of traditional art can take a lot longer than a week so each round will be about a month with extensions available if you feel you need more time. We will then have 1 week for votes to be cast (how to vote can be found here) and the winner will receive a pin and the pride of winning! (As well as their piece displayed on the hall of fame) Anyone can enter and if you are unsure of what constitutes as traditional art then here is the definition: It is now open so please enter! The first topic will be freestyle to get the competition underway so any piece of traditional artwork is welcome, you don’t need to be an expert. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me as I shall be running the competition. For those who don’t know what Signature of the week is then it’s a competition held every (more or less) week and it’s for members to enter computer designed graphics, or Signatures, that they created which are relevant to that week’s topic. The members of KHV can then vote for their top 3 (their 1st choice getting 3 points, 2nd getting 2 and 3rd getting 1) and the winner receives a pin and their work on the hall of fame. Traditional Art of the Month will run similarly but with traditional art and a longer time limit. We hope you will partake! Happy drawing!

These rules are similar to Signature of the Week’s but with some alterations. General Info You may enter anything that constitutes as tradtional artwork, if you are unsure here is a definition: There will be 3 threads per round and they are as follows:~Discussion thread: This is where you discuss and find out the theme, you can upload your pieces you're thinking of entering in order to get general feedback about improvements- however, if you want proper CnC then post it in the main traditional art section ~Entry thread: Here you enter your finished pieces before the deadline, only 1 piece of artwork per person unless stated otherwise (Time will be approximately a month unless an extension is needed) ~Voting thread: This is where you vote for your favourite pieces. The voting is simple: Vote for your top 3, your first chocie will be awarded 3 points, 2nd choice 2 points and 3rd will get 1 point. The person with the most points at the end will win, the award is a pin and your piece posted on the hall of fame.Also, please give a reason for your chocies, it doesn't have to be an essay but just general CnC would be good. e.g. 1) Misty: I think this is pretty This could easily be expanded on by explaining why you think it's pretty: e.g. 1) Misty: The colours blend well together It doesn't need to be long but do be fair in your comments. Life has recently become very VERY stressful and at the moment I really have no idea how to start handling it. I'll start from the beginning... since that's the best place to start. 2 years ago in June was the start of my fainting. It was the start of my condition where I just collapsed in stressful situations as a sort of defense mechanism, like my body was subconsciously trying to get out of a bad situation and it happened A LOT. By a lot I mean at the beginning it would happen at least twice a week if not more. Many days off school and trips to doctors/hospitals and such, the medical staff concluded that I suffered from severe anxiety and low moods. The main cause of my fainting was my fear of running long distances and also my boyfriend at the time, he abused me emotionally basically, he sort of lead me on and I could never tell if he liked me which lead to my constant worry about how well things were going, which inevitably lead to our break up. While we were together he was so busy and I just wanted to see him, I was also quite depressed because he made me feel insecure and the things we did, well, I didn't really want to do them but I was so scared that if I said no then he wouldn't like me any more. In my low moods I thought it was him, let's call him Gordon, that was making me feel better but it was him that was causing my pain so after an 8 month relationship he broke up with me in a savage manner (he told everyone before me that he was breaking up with me and then did it in public in front of all my class mates when I was at my weakest). It didn't take me long to realise how much pain he'd caused me and after we'd broken up my fainting reduced a lot, I only really fainted once a month if not less. My fainting continued for 2 years until this one time just after an English lesson when I heard my very busy English teacher ask if he could leave as he had work to do, the other teachers helping me ignored him so he stayed, I felt so guilty, like such a burden that I vowed to fight with all my strength to not faint. It worked as well, whenever the dizzy feeling came on I would fight and override the 'need' to faint so I thought I had seen the end of it. That was until last Friday, I was stressed about friends and exams and during the lunch period I was doing some work when a friend of mine made a snide remark and I just snapped at her, it wasn't anything too drastic but I was sick and tired of her bullshazz that I just flipped. In the afternoon I had Biology, we were doing practise exam questions and because of the events at lunch I was stressed out as it was and then with these questions placed infront of me that I didn't fully understand stressed me out even more. I tried to read the questions but my mind was hazzy and stressed out that I didn't really know how to answer. This all escalated until I just uncontrollably screamed out in (emotional) pain, stunning my class to silence and then I fainted off a science lab stool and hit my head. Not only did I despise myself for being a burden but also for being weak and for scaring my friends. I was sent home and I tried to relax at home. It is now wednesday and I still have a headache and I'm a bit forgettful which also isn't helping my stress levels. In the little free time I have, I try to get on KHV and talk to my friends especially this one person and I'm so scared of loosing any of them, I feel like recently I've been a right downer and I fear pushing them away as I try to seclude myself. What I really need is a way to deal with this stress and possibly someone who may understand what I am going through. I have exams in a month and I feel completely unprepared for them so I am starting to revise but I still have fears of failure, fears of not being good enough and fears of fainting as a result. I thought I knew how to handle this stress of fainting but right now I am clueless. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I apologise for any gramatical or spelling errors, my head still doesn't feel right and I am far too tired to spell check.
