I looked it up, and it seems that you have to show evidence to PayPal of your organization's nonprofit tax-exempt status before being able to accept donations.

I'm pretty sure personal and organizational fundraisers are not allowed in PayPal's terms of service.

I'm sorry to point out, but HTML (HyperText Markup Language), XML (Extensible Markup Language), and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are not programming languages. They are languages that contain textual information/data, rather than a list of instructions.

The only problem I have with my connection speed is that I can't stream HD Netflix, otherwise I'm perfectly fine with it.

You can do away with recompressing and giant video files by using "fake" or "dummy" AVIs.
Frameserving to an application without native AVS support is possible using one of these utilities.

Also, I can say that Avisynth and VirtualDub work flawlessly on Linux under Wine.

Nobody is perfect, I'm sure every non-eidetic programmer has that moment where they're like, "Oh, how do I do that again?," and has to look up a reference. Thank you, Internet.

As for me, I know JavaScript and Ruby. I've taken classes on JavaScript, and my knowledge of Ruby was self-taught using the texts by David Black. I wish to learn other languages when I can.

The release was a free for non-commercial use version given to students. I'm unsure if there's any difference with other official releases.

A clean install of Windows 7 Professional from a DVD ISO gave me about 5 GB of used disk space. ISO size, 2.6 GB.

Here's a pretty unbaiased review of Windows 8 Developer Preview by an individual who values productivity and usability.

As mentioned in the link above, after the developer preview, there's probably gonna be a beta release aimed at common users before the final.

One of the beauties of free operating systems like Ubuntu is that you're free to reinstall it at anytime you please. After installing Ubuntu 11.04, I quickly switched back to Ubuntu 10.10....

In my experience with updating a Windows OS, all personal files are preserved, and installed programs and system settings are overwritten, but this is no excuse to not make a backup.

The idea of making a New Year's resolution for myself never entered my mind until now, does that make me content? One thing I can do that I can think up on the spot would be to make the step from vegetarian to vegan.

Ah, would have never guessed there was an actual list.

Shame, reminds me of the legal/money troubles involving "Kingdom Hearts" and "Tarzan."

What exactly is a "princess"? I'm sure Belle of "Beauty and the Beast" and Alice from "Alice in Wonderland" are not princesses, at least not royal ones, yet they're Princesses of Heart.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" is a Disney movie without a princess, if you don't count Jack Sparrow.

I think this is a wonderful idea. If it's possible, I can't think of any good reason why it should not be implemented.

Instead of having the username information within the post itself, have a reference to the current username. Sounds simple enough on paper.

Sora befriending Quasi is kind of obligatory, I'm just wondering whether or not Sora will even notice he's horribly deformed. Or if others will notice Donald and Goofy are also deformed/different. Because the story of Hunchback does involve appearance.
  16. Daydreamer
I was too young (4 y/o) when Disney's Hunchback came out to understand where Disney got their material and wonder if they could make it work as an animated movie. Here's a quote from movie reviewer Roger Ebert:

My point, how will seasoned magical-creature-encounterer Sora react to Quasimodo, who is not at all magic, just deformed?
  17. Daydreamer
As it doesn't even register for anybody that Donald and Goofy are animals, how will Sora and others react when seeing Quasimodo for the first time? Because Donald and Goofy make for ugly humans. I'm pretty sure no one reacts like a real person would because it's convenient for the story. Crossover video games (or any media) tend to skimp on story because of the forced interaction between characters, look at Dissidia [012] Final Fantasy.

Is this the first account of sexual attraction in Kingdom Hearts? Someone's gotta translate those subtitles.

Good point, I can see Judge Frollo pronouncing himself as righteous and pure (as he does in "Hellfire"), a discipline of Light, which will be weird since he always wears black.

The worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series does cheapen Disney's original material. It still would be nice to expect the same fun, energy and personality of the Hunchback movie in the game.
