Namine shook her head immediately. "I always knew that you were different from them," she said softly. Roxas wasn't naturally a cruel person, or dark and selfish like the rest of the Organization had been. The first time she ever saw him and looked him in the eye, she knew that he wasn't like the rest of them.
Namine looked down at the floor, knowing that she needed to set aside her feelings of not being trusted to give Roxas some reassurance. "The idea of me liking you because of your connection to Sora never crossed my mind," she said softly, honesty coming through in her voice. "I love you because of who you are, not because of who you're connected to."
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Namine asked softly, glancing up at Roxas before she looked over at his hand on the counter. He must have gone to Castle Oblivion months ago with Sora, and it was still haunting him? Why didn't he open up to her? Did he not trust her any more?
Awesome indeed. 8D
Namine kept her gaze downward, trying to piece together what Roxas was trying to say. It felt like he had forgotten to specifically say how her "feelings" for Sora connected to him, but she was smart enough to connect the dots. "...Do you think that I could only like you because you're like Sora?" Even without hearing an answer, Namine knew that she had figured out what Roxas was thinking.
Not at all. xD I slept till, well, an hour ago. ;3 Haha. xP Yeah, this RP is amazing, as always.
Namine shook her head, looking down at her lap instead of looking up at Roxas. That was the kind of answer she had expected, but it still hurt to know that he didn't believe her. "I have no reason to lie, Roxas," she said softly, biting her lip when she was done. Why couldn't Roxas just accept that she had been telling the truth?
Me too, after I got a shower. xP Hmm. Dx
After Roxas only said that one simple thing, silence hung in the air for a moment. Namine was afraid to break that silence, but she had something else she needed to inquire about. "...You still don't believe me, do you?" she asked softly, her voice close to a whisper.
xD So, how is your day so far? Did you just wake up and come right on?
Namine wasn't sure what Roxas' silence meant; perhaps he didn't know what she was referring to. Instead of waiting to find out if that was the case, she decided she would come out and say it. "You didn't believe me when I said I didn't have feelings for Sora," she said softly, lowering her head a little more when she said what was haunting her.
xD Yes, we're very awesome.
Namine shook her head at the question, keeping her head down. "...It's what you didn't say," she said softly. He hadn't apologized for not believing her when she said that she didn't have feelings for Sora, and Namine wasn't sure how he could forget to say sorry for something that had led to him storming out of Sora's home.
Hi there! That was amazing timing! I was on for like, 10 minutes. xP
Namine glanced up at Roxas, hearing his plea. She would tell him, but first she had to figure out a way to word it so that it made sense. "Earlier," she started softly, looking down at her hands again. "You said sorry for a lot of things, but..." But you didn't say sorry for one of the things that offended me most, she thought, swallowing so she wouldn't say it that way verbally.
Namine shyly kept her gaze downward, shifting it to her lap when she set her hands there. What was she supposed to say? Roxas had left something out of his apology, and she wasn't sure if he had simply forgotten about it or if he purposely left it out. How was she supposed to come out and say that to him?
Right now. xP Goodnight!
Namine brought up a hand, tucking back a strand of hair out of habit. "Nothing," she said, shaking her head as she looked down and over at the counter. She doubted that Roxas would believe that, though; he had read her just as easily as Kairi did, which proved that Namine was like an open book.
Okie dokie then. =)
Namine shook her head in disbelief, her gaze falling to the ground. "She set us up again," she said softly, the truth coming out in her voice. Kairi had brought her and Roxas together, just like she had at the smoothie shop a while ago.
