Sora finished strapping himself in a moment before Roxas and turned on the ship, the engine taking a moment to start. He impatiently waited for a few seconds before pulling back on the shift. The ship slowly moved forward, eventually picking up speed as it moved toward the exit. But something fell from the ceiling in the room, crashing into the back of the ship. "No, no," Sora muttered desperately, altering the controls to regain control of the ship.

Sora hurried over to the ship, feeling the ground shake slightly beneath his feet. It switched from a jog to a run when he suddenly got a sense that the roof would give out. He opened the side door so Roxas could get Namine in and moved over to the other side to get into the pilots seat.

Sora released Kairi as well, bringing his hands back to his side. He gave her a very weak smile before turning to look in Roxas' direction, seeing the door to the hangar was open. A soft roar entered his ears and he turned around, seeing the building smoking. Then realization hit him hard: if the floors collapsed, it could crush the gummi ship, leaving them stranded on some strange planet. He didn't bother explaining his thoughts to his friends, knowing that they trusted him completely. He hurried into the building, the ship right where they had left it.

Sora exhaled softly, running his hand over Kairi's hair once. He hated to say it, he really did, but... "We have to go to the ship now," he said softly, lifting his head and looking at the girl. "This place could go up in flames at any time." He would make it up to Kairi later with a long hug--he silently promised he would.

Sora immediately wrapped his arms around Kairi, setting one hand on the back of her head lightly. He was trembling faintly from the terror he had experienced during the fall a few moments ago, but that was hardly noticeable. He shut his eyes, turning his head on its side and allowing it to rest of Kairi's head.
Sora turned at the voice, seeing that Kairi and Roxas were standing at the very bottom of the path. He brought up a hand and waved it widely, letting her know he was alright. Then he turned back to the floating boy in front of him and was about to thank him, but Peter spoke first. "Looks like you could still use some help, huh?" he asked, a smile appearing on his lips. Just as Sora was about to ask what he meant, the boy grabbed onto his arm again and picked him up, flying him over to his friends. Peter stopped about five feet away from the three teens by the door, letting Sora go about a foot off the ground. "Peter Pan..." Sora started, flustered. "...Thank you." Peter waved it off, giving his friend a smile. "Just a little bit of faith and pixie dust," he said. He looked over to the pixie floating beside him and smiled to her before taking off into the night, disappearing from sight along with his fairy.

Haha, sorry, I guess I should have been more clear. They see the rescue and stand there in awe for a moment. Sora will come to them and they'll go...
=) I got addicted to another cute song lately--I already knew the song, but I fell in LOVE with the acoustic....
Sora curled his hand into a fist, holding onto a lucky charm as he fell. Don't let me down now...he thought, calm but afraid at the same time. A faint light sparked in his hand and then another spark came from the sky. An ally was coming. Peter Pan flew down into the dark hole, Tinkerbell flying by his side. The boy grabbed onto Sora's arm and held on tight, grunting as he pulled his friend back up the side of the path. Sora grunted when Peter Pan set him on the path again, in front of the men who were staring at him in awe. His friend gave him a wink before swooping in stabbing three of the men and sending the other two over the edge of the path that Sora had just been over himself. He panted in relief, kneeling on two knees. "Thank you," he breathed hoarsely. Tinkerbell flew in front of his face and tapped him on the nose as if to say "Of course we helped; you're our friend." Sora smiled weakly in response, gripping his head lightly at the raging headache he now had.

Yeah...don't worry, I have an idea. But, uh, do you think you could revise and have Roxas and Kairi see what happens? =/ It'll make it a lot more...
Sora grunted and knocked out yet another man, exhaustion starting to show in his fighting. It was obvious he couldn't keep fighting, even if these were the last five men he had to take out. He brought up his Keyblade to block one hit, but it only knocked him closer to the edge. Fighting to regain his balance before he fell, he didn't see the fist coming directly for his head. The teen fell over the edge into the dark abyss, a scream leaving his lips as he fell.

Sora moved back on the path he was on to stop a man that had gotten past. He grunted and smacked him hard in the chest, either killing him or severely injuring him. While he was distracted, two more men approached him and knocked him onto the ground. But, just as their blades were about to come down, he cast a shield to protect himself.
