No one cares about Mission Mode in the storyline. Roxas and Axel saw Xion as a actual person. As to where Saix and/or anyone else didn't. Saix saw her as a doll, so her hood never appeared off to him. EDIT: As for the clocktower in the end, Xion kept it on because she didn't have HER face anymore. She had You-Know-Who's face.

Axel's line in the JAP version was slightly better. Because it made reference to something being missing. That being Xion or Roxas now. Most important line to me was "WHO WILL I EAT ICE CREAM WITH?" When Roxas stated he'll free Kingdom Hearts. Rage + Dual Wield = Gooood.
Elaborate. Do you mean the bought items to unlock the two last characters? Or are you talking about unlocking altogether? Or are you speaking of the Unity Badges?
It is HIGHLY likely that Axel and Saix knew each other. This post itself is proof from the secret report and Saix's knowledge of his name. However, It's unlikely they'll show up in BBS. Probably in a game after BBS between the ten year skip between BBS and KH1 if Nomura makes it.
