Xion quickly stepped into her room and opened the secret drawer in the bathroom, under the tile. Inside was a small necklace, and various weapons. Her contact had come through. She smiled a little, arming up. Tying the necklace gently around her neck, she lowered her hands to adjust the thigh sheath on her left leg, then slid in the weapons, one in the thigh sheath, and one onto the end of the necklace. It was thin enough, no one would notice, even if they hugged her. She smiled, more menacing this time, then stood up, placing the tile back.
Tifa watched him, then rubbed her arms, thinking. "I do want them provided for, but....." she struggled to find the words, wishing she was just back at home with the kids. "Demyx, that's very helpful. Xion is a little...preoccupied at the moment." She smiled slightly, glancing at the girl. "The future is a very busy place." She let her arms fall, then sighed. "If we were to get technical, then it was Sephiroth who killed my father. Shinra didn't take over until we were in Avalanche. Cloud...." she didn't know how to say this without angering him again. She needed to depend on herself to survive. Trusting others was fine, but she couldnt just rely on them. Last time...."I asked Shinra to give me time to consider it." she murmured, still watching Cloud. "I have as much as I need to consider the option."

She shivered, surprised. "That feels...nice. Not cold and clammy." Gently smiling, she opened the door, then sighed. "Might as well take you home." And get it over with. She finished in her mind. "I'm not going to be able to do anything in school today anyway." She stepped out, still holding his hand gently. Just the littlest pressure might send his hand through hers, and she wanted the nice feeling to stay.
Aly smiled, hiding her apprehension, then gently placed her hand by where it was. She was startled, and she let it show. There was actual warmth there. She gently prodded a little, her eyes wide. "Am I allowed to touch you?" she asked, pulling her hand back gently.
I love watching the commercials where people are peacefully swimming, and after about ten seconds they get unpredictably dragged down by something unseeable. Makes me scream with laughter every time.
She giggled quietly, still looking at the floor. "Maybe..." looking up finally, her own blue eyes searching his, she was quiet for a bit. Finally she spoke, but didn't raise her voice to above a murmur. "Do you think you...have to follow me home?" She wouldn't have minded getting to know him more, but she didn't want to see the pity that would be inevitable.
Meh, okay. Captain's practice is a bitch and killing me softly. Other then that, fine. And you?

Tifa smiled a little, then sighed. "You're so silly, Cloud. If you even feel something, then that means you're human. Sephiroth...Sephiroth is a monster." She sighed, leaning back against the wall. "You are human. You are. People have seen it. I don't care what kind of deals you make, as long as you trust me enough to tell me. And as long as you respect me enough to let me make decisions like that. The job Rufus offered me was a good one. I need to make some sort of munny and keep the kids safe."
She rolled her eyes, her humor starting to come out. "No, I'm sure there are tons of girls with the name Alyanne who you just happen upon everyday. Now why don't you go see if you can find another one?" after this rant, she put her hands to her mouth, then looked down. "I'm sorry."
