Wow, I was surprised to see an update here. o.o Surprised in a good way, of course. ;D It was a very good chapter, but I felt so bad for Sora and Kairi! I hope you have them make up sometime soon, I can hardly stand seeing them so miserable. But apart from the story itself, excellent writing, as always. Details were perfect, but that's no surprise. Sora softly brought his hand back to his side, his eyes catching Kairi's smile. A small smile appeared on his lips as well, the teenager seeing peace and happiness in their violet-blue depths. Namine blinked softly one time, her gaze staying locked with Roxas'. Though things around them had gotten loud and crazy again, she took no notice of that. Roxas was the only thing on her mind, as well as the moment they were still having. Altough other people may have seen them as weird for just standing like this for a few minutes, she didn't care. She didn't care at all what other people thought of her and Roxas.
Yeah, and then I have a game Saturday afternoon. =/ Very busy week.
Sora gently brought up one hand and lightly ran his fingers over Kairi's forehead, some of her curled bangs in her face. He softly pushed it over to the side, back where it was supposed to be. A smile appeared on Namine's lips again at the site of Roxas' smile, the girl loving to see that. His smile had always been very contagious. That was just one of the many things she loved about Roxas.
Aww, okay. And we won't be able to get in much tomorrow either. I have soccer practice, then about an hour after I get home I'm going back to...
Sora held Kairi's gaze softly, a faint smile appearing on his lips. The feeling of love that she gave him was so great, and it made Sora more happy than he ever thought he could be. Namine let her hand slide a little bit, off of Roxas' shoulder and onto his chest. A soft gaze rested on her, and she immediatly knew whose gaze it was, since nobody else's gaze could hold such love and care. She flitted her eyes up again, her sky-blue eyes meeting his piercing blue orbs.
Aww, that stinks. Well, okay, I'll try to be on as well.
Alrighty, well, I gotta get off for the night. My homework won't do itself (though I really wish it would! xP) See you tomorrow.

Sora felt himself relax at Kairi's gentle touch, his brown spikes being played with lightly. He had to admit, just the thought of Kairi touching him so softly and lovingly made Sora feel chills, but the now that it was actually happening, it made Sora feel a great pang of happiness in his heart...and chills, as well. We've had some peaceful moments lately, Namine thought to herself, keeping her eyes closed. But it's never been quite like this. Tonight is special already, and as long as Roxas is close like he is now, I'll be happy forever. After everything that had happened, there had been some tense moments as well. Nights were Namine had woken up from nightmares, recovering from her injury, and regaining some of her courage...it had been a very hard journey. But through everything that happened, Roxas was always there. He sat by and held her when she had woken up crying from fears. He had basically waited on her hand and foot when she couldn't take care of herself. And his eyes gave her the courage she needed to make it through the day, when she couldn't have done it herself. I'll pay him back tonight, Namine vowed. Whatever it takes, I'll make sure that I let him know how grateful I am...for everything. His love, his protection...everything.

Sora exhaled softly, releasing the breath through his nose. He kept his eyes closed for a few more moments, the aura surrounding him and Kairi very comfortable and peaceful. Namine lowered her gaze to their hands, feeling chills at Roxas' gentle stroking. She sighed quietly in comfort, her eyes flickering shut in peace.

Sora held on a moment longer before gently pulling himself out of the kiss, his eyes staying shut in peace. Namine felt her cheeks cooling again, and she was thankful, realizing that the pinkness from her blush was starting to fade. We've only been here for one song, and yet I feel as happy as I could ever imagine possible, Namine mused to herself, taking in that thought for the first time. How could this night possibly get better?
