Van Helsing frowned slightly but nodded. "If you insist," he agreed.
"Getting light out here, isn't it?" Van Helsing spoke, stepping over to where Beatrice and Michael stood.
Back off, Van Helsing sent to Michael, hearing his voice nearby. I'm starting not to trust you with her.
Van Helsing sighed after he had all the horses in stalls and with fresh water. "Happy now?" he asked Lexi, and then stopped, tilting his head in the direction of the voices he heard drifting toward him.
Van Helsing frowned as he pushed open the doors to the Valerias castle, looking around in the dark for any sign of Beatrice or Michael. He stopped next to Lexi and Sorin, giving them a small smile. "Bored, are we?" he asked, and then began to lead the four horses to the stables.
"Well, then, they won't disappoint you," Van Helsing shot back, and then turned toward the front door. "If you'll excuse me," he began now, "I've got to see to the horses and make sure the rest of my company hasn't died out there."
"A bit," Van Helsing muttered nonchallantly, shrugging his shoulders. "Either way, I think you'll like them... if you give them a chance."
"I don't want to argue," Van Helsing sighed, waving away her comment. "You have to live with them for now; I think we need their help, whether it's something you like or not."
"Enough to say you're not the most forgiving person in the world," Van Helsing retorted with a small smile.
Van Helsing nodded curtly. "Of course, he replied after a moment. "I wouldn't expect any less... from someone like you."
"Ah, I see," Van Helsing laughed. "They're okay, you know," he added, a little more seriously. "I will vouch for each of them; that's why they're with me."
OOC: team lestat!!! BIC: Van Helsing nodded, looking at Anna as Carl left. "So," he began. "Are you not a drinker or do you just not like me?"
Van Helsing thought for a moment and then shook his head. "I don't think so," he began now. "Give them some time."
"I don't know," Van Helsing began uneasily. "I'd just hate for them to get in trouble now; give Anna a great impression, huh?"
"Okay," Van Helsing muttered after Jinx and then turned to Anna and Carl. "Carl," he began. "Should we be concerned about Michael and Beatrice out there?"
OOC: im FEEL hecka smart now... :D BIC: Van Helsing looked between Anna and Jinx, not sure what to do. "Hey," he sighed, stepping quickly after Jinx. "You okay?" he whispered, touching her shoulder lightly.
OOC: i frikkin love you, angelyn!!! *epic glomp* "Intruiging," Van Helsing muttered under his breath, though he smiled.
Van Helsing grinned, shaking his head. "Not much fun, are you?" he said soft enough for only her to hear.
Van Helsing nodded. "I was actually hoping to have a drink before sleeping," he spoke, catching Anna's eye.
"What could they have to contribute at this point?" Van Helsing sighed, and then yawned, realizing it was late.
