Raxton in Twilight Town. As you come to see the hole in the wall, there are figures that are walking away from it to in the town that seem rather out of place. A young girl in a white soft dress with blond hair, a boy with white hair..they don't seem 'so unusual' though the girl is pretty pale. However, the man walking with them in clothes of black and red hues and a wrapped up head seems to somewhat stand out more. (DiZ). They seem to be heading out of the district you just entered and are moving to a more peaceful side of town. The lightning and thunder that had crackled earlier, by the time you reached the hole in the wall had long dissipated. Unfortunately, it was only for but a brief respite and you are sure it came over from that way but nothing seems amiss now and the day is clear with barely a thick cloud in the sky at the moment. Odd, huh?

I think it's a guy. The jaw line and such is more angled in the way a male's would be and I believe there's an adam's apple there. I hope. The outfit though...poor person either way. If that is a girl, the person should have given herself a pony tail or something. I'm going with guy though.
I'm actually thinking with how hyper you are Pyro, if you were the Kira someone would have to be dead by now. Of course if I die when the shinigami comes back, all you in brown are suspect...wait, sienna I mean!

I wll hope with what I've heard recently, that the situation in Georgia is going to improve. I really don't know what the hell Russia's problem is. They seem to be all into expansionism again in an age where most of us like to think this behavior is outdated. I will agree with Bush just this once when he said that the tactics were similar to that used in the Cold War and that is over so we should move on. I do understand there were Russian deaths but if they were not causing problems in Georgia in the first place and the Russians acknowledged Georgia's rights as a free nation, this wouldn't have escalated. I am glad the UN and U.S are involved and so far things may be improving...I sure hope so at any rate. I am going to have to look further into the situation though to understand the finer details since we get only the same story told repeatedly to us on the news and it's not saying more than what was posted there. P.S. When did I become a saint?
Repliku - well I am pretty sure I'm not it. Pyrɸ - She has not really changed her demeanor much from the first game and she wasn't the Kira then so not sure. Could be she's just very good at keeping her same composure so I can't remove her from suspicion yet. Trogdor - the chances are unlikely that ICSP would pick the same Kira again and Trogdor's attitude this time around is more helpful so I'd be willing to say almost solidly I doubt it. サキ アマミヤ - possibility though this round he's been so darn quiet. I don't think he was even on last night when the Kira was chosen though this could be a ruse. We can, after all, set ourselves invisible. I'm so far though leaning towards no. Chervalier - is very vocal and part of things but also challenging so might be possible or not. However, apparently Trogdor talked to Cherv or something and my name is 'widely' known so yeah...if Cherv was the Kira I'd probably be dead by now. So leaning more towards no. Of course, Cherv could be giving me secret threats saying that my name is so known...and covering for when I die so yeah...still a suspect. CarbuncleGem - not sure so it's a 'maybe' though I'm not seeing any signs. Mr.Despair - maybe but nothing of signs yet either but has been in the thread quite a few times and made hardly any responses. This is kind of suspicious. Could be. ヨシュア- could be since from the start he was actually interested in the role of Kira and he's been so quiet. Love - is a question since Love isn't really responding. Shades - leaning towards possibly no but unsure so far. Nate_River - unknown. Firekeyblade - on vacation so yeah, it's a bit hard to be the Kira. I'm going to go with I don't think so though. TheChosenOne - seems also new to the arena so I'm willing to say at this time that he's probably not the kira either. Graxe - new to the game so probably not it either. Alright, well if Firekeyblade is on vacation, that does mean one less person to worry about.
There have been many animals made extinct by nature itself. Humans are actually not as great a killer of creatures as the world is in itself. Yes, we have certainly contributed though due to some stupid practices of logging, corporations dumping waste and other nasty practices. We work on making it better not just out of guilt but because it's a practical and good thing to do. The opinions of how we feel about the world have changed and will continue to be changed as we grow. More and more people are concerned with things and so we will naturally pass that on to our children etc. As we learn more about our world we've come to see it as a more 'vulnerable' thing than people even 100 years thought. I'd have to say we haven't had a major pandemic or epidemic since the Spanish Flu. We have -signs- of them that they could happen with some virulent strains but really, let's face it. We've all been lucky. There certainly hasn't been a Spanish Flu or Black Plague etc situation for a very long time, even though we have some things to watch such as the Avian Flu or West Nile Virus. I would say right now we've actually been doing alright and if we are hit with an epidemic, it's not going to be such an irregular thing in nature to happen. Viruses and bacteria etc change and evolve and so do we.
Sure there is. You can type your own opinions too. I will say this and it'll be short! In the end, Bunterx, you, me, PAW..what we've all put are opinions. Can we still respect one another? Our religious views aren't all that makes us who we are, as is the point I was trying to point out. Some people though -think- that is the truth and these are the people we need to actually worry more about. The ones who feel the religion makes the man/woman are the ones who need to be scrutinized. These are the people that try to use people or are being used themselves in a cult/gang manner. Most of us, regardless of religious beliefs can try to get along and open up debates or choose not to. If these radical sorts could learn that, we wouldn't have the problems we do.
It's fine. I'm not mad at Cin or anyone. I just had to stop the arguing. No one was given an official warning or anything since all parties stopped once I hopped in. I am glad you are both talking it out. :) Good luck on it. It takes time to work on behavior things like that. Some kids just do the screaming thing but it is really an attention thing and if you work him away from it he'll grow out of it quicker because the screaming itself won't be rewarding. Other things like being calm, talking, and looking for activities to do will be more rewarding to him.
It's so often people do this though. If a doctor removes the cancer from a patient or performs heart surgery and the family is religious they thank God instead. If a fireman/woman saves the life of a child and risks his own skin too often he's not thanked as much as God is. If someone is helped out of a natural disaster scenario, God gets the credit to a very religious minded person. It's sad really that people don't get more credit for the good they do. Some people are so willing to see every single flaw and nasty thing humans do but won't give credit where it's due to the people that do good deeds that benefit others. Ah well, though. Nothing you can do about it and that's their right to think such. Just a shame though.
I can understand if you do have a problem with Atheists. However, what you said about feeling the same way others do... atheists aren't trying to take religion away. Many atheists have several friends of religious core beliefs etc. The reason we bring up things is purely because some of your more radical religious followers attempt to force religion and some of us are saying no outright because why should we have to take it anymore? You mention freedom of speech. For hundreds of years people have been held oppressed by held down by religion, whether you want to believe that or not. People to this day still call those who do not believe in God as anarchists, heretics, heathens, pagans etc. Atheist means - no god. It does not mean 'I hate Christians'. I get -very- tired of explaining what an atheist is to some preset minded Christians because they have been preprogrammed that we are evil things created by Satan to change them from their devoted holy paths. For every insult that Atheists give out there are at least 20 that they have received from radical Christians or some other zealot group of religious nuts, because non-religious people don't just live in America and the U.K. There are many people, religious or not religious from all over that can manage to get along because...they aren't pushing it anyone's face. Why? They don't -fear- or -hate- other people's religious views because otherwise the people are decent people and we find similarities in them to ourselves. Religion is -not- all that makes a person what they are. It never has been that way and it never will. Every Christian is not the same. Every Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, Atheist etc is not the same. If we were the same we'd all get along better, wouldn't we? Why things get fought that Christians have put forth? Well here are a few reasons: - Taking our Constitution and putting 'God' more in it. - The Evangelical Protestant goal of Huckabee and several religious followers of that group that is bordering fascism. - Taking our Pledge of Allegiance and putting 'Under God' in it. The Pledge of Allegiance was written by a religious man and he left it out for respect to ALL citizens. The man even wanted to put in a clause that stated all people are created equal. No, instead they honor Christians only by putting 'Under God' in it. That was apparently more righteous to do than recognizing blacks, Native Americans, other foreign people etc. - The President and Evangelical Protestant leaders declaring that Atheists should not be citizens of the U.S. When did we become Hitlerized? - Trying to post the 10 Commandments in public schools where children of ANY religion may be learning. School is for learning to survive in this day and age and getting an education. Church is for religion. If Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Wiccans, Agnostics, Atheists etc can all understand this concept, why can't some Christians get it? - Stealing and burning Harry Potter books. Going to funerals of fallen soldiers or gay people and picketing and not letting families bury their dead in peaceful ceremony. - Changing John Lennon's and other musical artist's music that is inspirational to stick 'God' in it so that their little kids can listen to it and be brainwashed and also teach many people to possibly forget the actual message of the original song. wtf. - Telling women to dress less provocatively because men can't help themselves and they will be raped for it and for men to worship God because he's the only one that is going to save them from their sexual rape urges. When challenged on it, the other person is told to shut up...real freedom of speech there. - Telling children to suck it up if someone tells that kid to go to Hell. Telling children they cannot be gay because it is a sin. Telling children they will be disowned if they aren't Christian. Telling children to ignore school education subjects because it is evil and to walk out. - Answering a door and being harassed by members of -any- Church for any reason other than possibly asking for donations for some cause or selling tickets for some raffle. No one, including other Christians wants to hear about how they need their soul saved on their front doorstep. Telling some Christians they aren't true Christians because they accept that others exist and believe as they do not and accept gays etc. There is one thing with having freedom of speech. Sure, I believe everyone is entitled to it but there are times if you say something dumb you pay some repercussions. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you say whatever and nothing bad happens. It means you can say it and not expect government persecution. Also, it's not just the speech that gets Christian zealots in trouble. It's their actions. They make regular Christian folk look horrible just as Islamic fundies make followers of Islam look terrible. I could give a ton of other examples of how wrong things are and why they are either fought and debated on or else we are just going to accept them as the typical norm. When Christian radical groups are stopped from oppressing education, oppressing development and science, oppressing gays, oppressing cultures, oppressing other religious views, oppressing people who have no religious cares, oppressing children and forcing them to follow their ways, oppressing music, video games, books, entertainment, art, language etc... When these crimes stop happening and people are let to follow a religion of their choice or none and we can learn without having religion forced in our faces even if we are of the same religion... then the lesson will have been learned and no one would hear a peep out of atheists more than any other group that expresses their religious opinions through books and movies etc. Being of the majority does not mean people should ever just ignore the minorities, especially in a country where we are so diverse in the first place from our very conception.
Yeah, alright. I'm sure you guys recognized a ton of posts were just deleted. This is the Help for Life section and not the Flamerz R Us section. Cin, you posted your opinion. It is enough. You can stop now. Next time it's a warning. Whether people like someone or not, this section is not for harassing members. The other posts deleted...you don't have to answer someone who is flaming and annoyed at something. Pm a Mod or just let the opinion rest and it would be removed if found offensive. Guys, please continue the conversation as it was before and don't worry about this. Back on topic: Cupcake, if saying anything about the bird gets him to scream then you need to perhaps say 'you bored? let's go do something else'. Distract him. Or maybe ask him if he wants to learn how to pet the bird nicely or something. Do something with him and positive enforcement would help tone him down in time. He wants to learn and do things and is obviously bored, wanting some attention too. That would be the best suggestion I think you can do now and as others said, you are upset and things get better. Don't let these things weigh you down. Come up with plans on how to cope with each problem and it will work out for you.
