hmmm (highlight it - don't want to spoil the ending for lilrice) ok - well in the manga - Light starts BEGGING Ryuk to kill them and all this junk - buuut light found a loophole - and this is only implied - but if Light traded death notes with the shinigami king - he'd be able to life forever - aghhh it's really confuzleing so i won't get into that - but its a lot more dramatic - and stuff - just read it to find out xD and oh! i forget if this is in the anime or not - but it ends showing all these people in white cloacks holding candles walking in a line - and then you see Misa at the front and she goes 'Kira our savior' and then you turn the page and it's all black and says 'Once dead - they can never come back' - yeah so read it!
