Has anyone else noticed that the .hack series resmbles quite a few other things? I noticed that there are quite a few things that resmble other media......Does anyone else agree with me? Disclaimer: I posted this in the spam zone becuase the anime zone is almost always empty and the spam zone has about x3 to x4 the people than anywhere else and I want to here eveyone's opinion.......... Here are some simularities I noticed: Well, first, the obvious, World of Warcraft Its an obvious nod to WoW, the most popular MMORPG, its even named "The World". It also shares most of the same RPG cliches.........Anybody else thought the same thing? Then, there's the Matrix..... With Tsukasa "living" in a cyber world (Much like the Matrix) and the fact that sometimes, what happens in "The World", can sometimes happen in the real world, example: You die in game, you can almost die in the real world.........Finally they both share a very deep storyline........... Finally, There's Tron...... Mainly they're the same because of there characters..........Morgana=MCP, Macha or Lios=Sark, Tsukasa=Game designer trapped in game (forgot name), Haseo's Steam Cycle=Light Cycle, etc........... Has anyone else spotted these simularities? And would anyone like to discuss them?
I had quit for a long time, but I eventully got back on..............nothing changed except for a few new quests..............the core gameplay hasn't changed at all..........That is probably the worst thing so far with runescape.........They spend so much time making new quests that they forget compleletly about the core gameplay (either that, or they are just lazy, spending effort only on making quests and hoping that the players don't notice that they never update the core gameplay)............
So it seems NaughtyDog is still kicking..............This is good, they were a very good company once upon a time..............
That's not the only porblem..........Some companies spend so much effort on the multiplayer that the singleplayer is downright horrible........a prime example is a game called Iron Phionex........it doesn't even have a playable single player level!!
