I hated N because of this scene: Light: You see, I am the God of this new world! Near: No. You are nothing but a murderer, and this book is nothing but the deadliest weapon known to mankind. It was so powerful when Near said that. I just hated him, as I was rooting for Light the whole way even though I knew he was going to die. Plus, Near is just creepy, but L was enigmatic and awesome.

The saddest scene in the anime was when Light was running from his group, and he was running by the fence during twilight, and he has flashbacks of when he first found the notebook and you realize that it is the same place where he started. Truly amazing. Also, I liked that he saw L when he died. It symbolized that even though L died, he had won in the end. Such an amazing anime, one day I will watch it all again.
