It's not that much... is it? XD I toned down my PS2 games list and left out party games and whatnot. Things like Thrillville, Buzz!, etc.. And some other games I find pretty much useless :p
I think he is well gay for Roxas. To me, it's like he almost hints at it in the game XD He creates so much drama just because Roxas leaves the Organization and keeps raggin' on about how he misses him and how he cares about him.. I don't think their new. They've probably just re-used some of Axel's dialogue and taken words out of sentences and strung them together to make new one's. I mean, he says 'Sora' in KHII. And obviously he said the words: 'You', 'got', 'me', 'what's', 'the' and 'problem', and they've just put 'em together to form seemingly new phrases?
In the Kingdom Hearts universe, parents are unimportant XD Sora obviously didn't give a damn about his mum/carer after he left Destiny Island. He never even mentions her in the story, nor do we hear of her missing him or anything. I imagine it'd be weird after Sora, Riku and Kairi returned to the island. Wouldn't it be awkward with Sora and his carer? I think an opportune moment to show that woman would've been at the start of KHII when it shows you Kairi standing at the shore on DI. She could've been talking to Kairi about where Sora is, what he's doing, etc. But no.. Neither Sora or his mum/whatevever give a damn about eachother.
