MR. Wheeler walked into the lobby, and saw Nikkie sitting there. He almost couldn't believe he had actually gotten here without dying. "I haven't had any attempts on my life yet. How have you been?"
Tabris had walked a couple of blocks, enjoying the cool night air. After about three blocks, he heard footsteps behind him. Tabris couldn't help feeling nervous. Ever since his coven had been murdered, he had been stalked by numerous vampire hunters who had wanted to kill him, and they had all started by following him like this. Tabris was too nervous to even look over his shoulder. So he simply walked a couple more blocks. The footsteps were growing closer. Tabris bristled, hoping it wasn't a vampire hunter. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Everything alright, sir?" Tabris sighed in releif. He turned to face the police officer. "Yup, everything's alright, officer." "Sorry, it's just that not many people are out on the street at this time of night. I've got to ask everyone, you know." "That's alright. I was scared. I thought you were someone else."
Mr. Wheeler;s car exited the freeway and drove itself into a really fancy-looking downtown area. "Nikkie lives here?" Mr. Wheeler said out loud. Most of the old gods had either gone into hiding or mingled with the working class citizens. But Nyx lived in this neighbor hood. MR. Wheeler didn't give it much thought. She hadn't been killed yet, and that was what counted. Mr. Wheeler's car parallel parked itself about a block away from Nikkie's apartment. Mr. Wheeler turned the car out and stepped out.
Tabris sat for a while. Then, he noticed a ladder leading upwards to a sewer grate. He decided that he might as well check and see if the sun had actually risen yet. HE climbed up the ladder and peered through a small hole in the grate. Tabris felt lucky. THe sun hadn't risen yet. He must have lost track of time while he was running from his persistent hunter. So, he climbed out of the sewer grate and put his hands in his pockets, hoping no one noticed his long claws. THis was a relatively quiet part of town, so if anyone actually noticed, no one made a big uproar about it. He made his way into the city, looking for somewhere to stay or something/someone to eat.
MR. Wheeler's car was on the freeway, with Mr. Wheeler inside it, happily listening to his music. He wondered whether anyone else would be there or not. And what of the third god that Nikkie had mentioned... Mr. Wheeler's car was at the exit in almost no time. He would be there son.
It was the way their eyes always looked. The lifeless eyes constantly staring at nothing... that was what always bugged Tabris about killing people. It scared him to no end. The fact that he was the reason they were so lifeless didn't Help. Tabris thought about how the hunter's parents, friends, and family would feel once they knew that he was killed by a monster like tabris. To top it all off, the guy hadn't died right away. HE went down like a ton of bricks with the first slash, but the guy begged for mercy in that kind of soft weak voice that still gave Tabris nightmares about that night... Tabris just granted his request, for lack of another idea. Tabris simply drank some of the man's blood and threw his corpse into the river of filthy water and sat there, watching it float. "Well, The sun's probably coming up around now", Tabris said aloud to no one. "Might as well rest for a while..."
Mr. Wheeler thought about saule. What did he want? WHy was he so curious about Mr. Wheeler's experiences. HE seemed so... edgy. Mr. Wheeler wondered why saule was working for media if he hated her so much, then decided not to dwell on it. Mr. Wheeler suddenly remembered his promise to Nikkie. I don't know if you an hear me or not, or if you already know this, but i'm on my way.
Tabris rounded a corner and hid inside a dark hallway, hoping that his pursuer would run past him and not know where he went. Sadly, his oponnent was smarter than that. And so, when his oponent pulled the gun out, Tabris lept toward him, claws bared. Tabris hoped it wouldn't hurt.

Powes : Can change into a wolf. Sire : Doesn't matter. She's dead. Purpose in being a vampire : To hunt down a vampire slayer called "The Saint." Tabris cursed as he ran through the sewer. He knew it was probably a bad idea. After all, the hunter was hot on his heels, and could probably hear him. Tabris didn't care at this point. This situation sucked. Tabris knew for a fact that to get out of this situation, one of them was going to die. Tabris wasn't opposed to killing if necessary, but this guy was only a rookie. He could tell from the fact that he tried to use a cross to keep Tabris away from him. Better get used to the idea, Tabris told himself. It's you or him.
"Yup. I can do that. Of course, i'm not 100% sure that i'll ever see you again, or if i'll even be alive to tell anyone anything. But, if i do see you again, i will be sure to fill you in." Mr. Wheeler looked at the clock in his car. "Well, i've got to be off. It's been a long night, and i need to rest up for tommorrow. See you later, Saule." And with that, Mr. Wheeler drove off, and put Children of Bodom back on.
OOC: Feanaro and i are heading towards Saule's hotel in Pasadena. MR. Wheeler's car had finally exited the freeway, and saule's hotel was close. THe chorus swelled as MR. Wheeler's car finally pulled into the abandoned hotel's driveway. Mr. Wheeler guessed that the meeting would be here tommorrow. It was, after all the place people would pay the least amount of attention to. People were so ignorant sometimes, MR. WHeeler thought as he looked at the gigantic corpse of a building. No one had paid attention to this place since the 1940's. A shootout had taken place here. The police thought it was a gang war. Mr. Wheeler wondered what they would have thought if someone told them that i was a fight between gods. "Here's your stop, saule. It's been nice meeting you, and i'll see you tommorrow," Mr. Wheeler said, not meaning the words at all.
Mr. Wheeler put the CD into the player just as the car changed lanes and moved toward the exit. "Your stop's coming up. It might be inadvisable to get comfortable, because you're just gonna have to get back up."

Mr. Wheeler looked through some of the disks in his car as the prius changed lanes. "Sorry, but i don't have any bach with me. I do have Beethoven though. Ode to Joy sound good? And wasn't Fat Bottomed girls written by Freddy Mercury?"

Mr. Wheeler turned the volume down to a reasonable level. "I said, What music do you want to listen to?" "Oh, and by the way, Those solar panels you have won't work. THis is my car, and i make the rules."
"I'm fine, Nikkie." Mr. Wheeler suddenly was brought back to the real world. He looked at saule's eyes and smiled. "Luckily, i always keep a spare pair of shades in my car". Mr. Wheeler reached into the glove compartment jsut as the car turned onto the freeway. HE handed them to Saule. "Oh, and by the way, if you're trying to kill the sound system with those solar panels, it won't work. This is my car, and i make the rules here." "Now that i've got your attention, what music do you want to listen to?" Mr. Wheeler asked with a smug grin on his face.
Mr. Wheeler heard the words in his head as the car pulled out of the garage. "He's a messenger", Mr. Wheeler thought, hoping Nikkie could hear him. "He wasn't sent to kill me (at least not yet). I'm taking him to his hotel right now. As far as i can tell, i'm in no danger in the moment. Have you found Zaris?"
it certainly looks like a member of Organization XIII... not to mention the "Lost two"... Do you think it could be Xigbar? Do you think that could be the connection between him and the other Keybladers?
