ooc: oops. Sorry, dimetrix. I wasn't aware of your situation. I hope you can forgive me for jumping to conclusions. :o

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gerrard breathed a sigh of relief. Everyone had gotten back alright. "it's about time you got back," said Gerrard. "You were fighting with that bone man for a long time. I was honestly worried about everyone for a second."

Gerrard realized that this called for celebration. he dashed into the galley, ready to create a special dessert. he was going to make his favorite dessert of all time: pie.

IF gerrard or anyone else in the crew had been paying attention, they would have noticed the short man perched in the crow's nest on the top of their mast. They would have noticed that he was wearing a large top hat that almost completely obscured his face. They would have noticed that he was smiling. and they would have noticed him jump into the air and vanish into thin air.

But, none of them had looked up yet, so the event passed them by without bothering any of them.

I guess you're right. I've heard the same thing from a lot of other people, and if i find the time and money, i might try and read the books.

That doesn't change the fact that this movie was a hideous failure.

ooc: Not that i have any say in the matter, but...

Dimetrix: Nexus is right. Don't control other characters. it's one of the core rules of RPing and it's cheap and annoying to do so.

Nexus: Dimetrix is right. You have been in this fight for a while. Get more crew members, and come back and try to kill us again later.

Both of you, and everyone else: Lighten up. It's a game. it's meant to have fun. chill. :)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gerrard had been watching the fight between the two devil fruit users from the ship, and he was growing more and more annoyed. We have better things we could be doing right now, Gerrard thought. But what to do about it? And then it hit him.

I'm not much of a marksman, but i've had practice firing a cannon, so i should be fine. And even if it doesn't hit anyone, they'll get the message.

Gerrard ran to his galley and got a match, then loaded the cannon. He aimed it about twenty feet behind the one who seemed to be using bones as weapons, and fired. It managed to hit behind him, but the dust that rose when the cannonball reached the ground sprayed both of the fighters with sand and dirt.

I hope they got the idea, Gerrard thought.

My name isn't important. I was born in boston, but i live near san francisco now. I'm 17 years old (soon to be 18). I enjoy reading fantasy novels and comics(especially ones by neil gaiman... he's cool! :D), playing video games, acting, and playing tabletop RPGs w/ my friends, D&D and World of darkness being my two favorites.

I'll be returning to boston next year for college. I can't wait!

I don't think he was involved at all in the making of the movie. I didn't read the books, and thanks to this movie, i probably never will.

    THIS

    MOVIE

    WAS

    HORRIBLE.

The acting was pathetic and the dialogue was awful. The only redeeming characteristic of the movie was the computer animation.

steve Irwin was friggin awesome. Its sad that he died, and i send my regards to his family. But i gotta say, i laughed when i found out too. I also joked about it and made jokes about it and what not. I even thought about getting Khaki clothes and an inflatable stingray and going as steve irwin for haloween. :D

What you dhould realize is that sometimes when people make fun of Steve Irwin's death, some aren't doing so with malicious intent. It's bad that he died, but people have different ways of dealing with it. Instead of mourning and being sad about it, some people go and make jokes about it, hoping to make themselves and others feel better. Think of all the jokes as a sort of tribute to the Croc Hunter.

After all, at least he's being remembered. and i miss him too.

"We should also not rule out the possibility that this might be a trap" said Gerrard. "They may be waiting for us to drop our guard and strike when and if we find jit and let our guard down. Stay on your toes..."

Gerrard had spent the last half hour looking for Kangen and Dimetrix, the only other Nakamas in the city that weren't on the ship, and neither of them were anywhere to be found. At least it's excercise, Gerrard thought to himself. He had searched the main districts, including the marketplace twice, and he just couldn't find them. Finally, after forty five minutes he found them, waliking together through the marketplace. Gerrard wondered how he didn't find them before, and then realized it didn't matter- he had found them.

Kangen and Dimetrix looked like they were having a light, pleasant conversation. Gerrard walked up behind them and tapped each of them on the shoulder. "Hate to interrupt, but Jit's been kidnapped. We need to get back to the ship."
