I would say that as far as I know, linking to other sites, as long as you gave credit for where it came from, was not illegal. However, if people are copying shows and putting them up, that may be illegal on a separate issue. It does suck that the site no longer is up because I used to like going there since I'm not an avid television watcher but like a few shows. I'm glad that there are networks though that will post up shows we can watch now such as Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, Comedy Central and some others. I do wonder and will have to look into why the site was shut down because that is surprising if all they were doing was linking to other sites to let people watch. I would have assumed it was because some of the other sites used were illegal in themselves, but then I'd be confused why the UK didn't just go after those sites instead.

I have mixed feelings on spanking children. Coming from an abusive household where my mother beat the tar out of me until I was 12/13, ran away, and refused to just take it anymore, I can say that some people have no control. This woman would suffocate me with pillows over my face and beat on me, doing stupid stuff. She had no control and often it was because she was mad at my dad or being left alone all the time. Needless to say, now we don't associate with one another very much.

However, I have seen kids that are horribly spoiled because parents do not do anything to them in the lines of discipline and just let the kids walk all over them. This in turn leads to kids doing scenes like in the stores etc and a parent cannot -dare- to swat the kid on the rump gently or grab the kid's hands and hold them etc for fear of child services being called.

I cannot say myself, despite my upbringing, that I would not spank a child who is doing something particularly dangerous to him/herself or someone else, or smack a hand etc. I would not want the child to be -hurt- but if that kid is doing something that could potentially cause severe harm, I know what has to be done. I would never want to hit my child 'out of anger' which is where I believe the child abuse situation comes in. My mother as well as others who abused children, were always enraged and furious. They would say later they 'had no control' and be all anxious etc. I would never want to discipline my kid without 'control'.

So, my discipline would mostly be like this...

    1. Small things - no way would I hit a kid. Part of raising a kid is teaching them ethics and how to be in control yourself. If I was that mad at them, I'd probably pass the duty over to my significant other or try to relax first before dealing with it by giving them time-out or sending them to their room so I can get myself in the right mood. I don't see this as a problem though because regularly I'm pretty calm and have worked with kids for years.

    2. Things that harm others such as beating someone up or being really rotten or putting someone's life in peril, like the kid is trying to set fire to things etc... I may have to but it would depend on the situation. If I felt talking would work, I'd use it. If it's a repeated pattern, yes, I would spank the child and/or be focusing on that habit to break them out of it. I would never just spank a child though and not say what it was for and what they need to learn.

Also, I want to clarify I'd never consider hitting a child anywhere but the bottom dollar. And I'd also not use some instrument i.e. a belt, to do such. Really, in the end it all depends what the kid does. I was not a -bad- kid so I don't think my kid would be too horrible either. Here's to hoping heh. I don't believe that all kids 'need' spanked and that if discipline is started early, you may not have to hit them at all, but for more serious things, kids don't learn their bad habits just at home. They can get them from friends at school too and socialization that is poor quality. This is why parents need to just pay attention and not get furious if they can help it.

I would strongly suggest that you do not do that. If you have to have some aggression relief, try punching a pillow or something that won't get hurt. Don't mar yourself up over the stress you are going through. You'd have a physical reminder forever if those scars didn't go away about how silly you were 10 or 20 years ago etc. It's not worth that or getting caught and having to explain to someone why. It causes a lot more pain than it helps.

As others said, please feel free to vent here and say what's going on. You have our ears and we are more than willing to listen and assist you if we can. We all go through tough times and we can all help each other through them too.

Yeah, Ping was pretty worthless, but wasn't really needed any way. Mulan was cool and kicked some butt. She was a drastic improvement over her male counterpart fake self that it took Goofy to point out she was female in the first place....right.

I didn't mind Donald or Goofy but I will say I was glad to separate from them and let Sora kick some @$$ without them now and then too. I think they annoyed me more in KH1 where they would keep hitting each other with potions etc nonstop and waste them all. In KH2, since they were more able to be controlled and I could even set them to just -follow- me around and let me kill all the stuff, it was awesome. I will say every now and then I was grateful they were there, especially when fighting some of the Nobodies, because they probably did save my can at least a few times.

I don't get why people say Marluxia would be a vegetarian. He -likes- plants and has lame flower petals around him. I think he'd be a meat eater because he's gushy over his plants and wouldn't want to slay them.

Any way, I think that the Nobodies, being what they are, do not -have- to eat but I could think there would be some compulsion to do so just to keep up the act that well, they aren't totally gone, and also as a response to instinct. Being as they had their bodies pretty well destroyed and the new ones created from memories of the soul and mind, I am pretty well sure they don't need to eat in order to survive. Their state of being is 'nonexistent' in that way. However, I doubt eating hurts them any either as it was pointed out that Roxas and Axel were eating ice cream. It's a very 'living' act to eat, so I think sometimes they would just for that reason alone.

I'd rather Square-Enix stay as it is and definitely to not team up with Nintendo. I'd hope they could decide on their own what they want to do and not have to cater to one console forever. That would stink.

Square games tend to make the final bosses kind of easy compared to other secret bosses and even some of their other highlighted bosses.

Ansem in KH1 was a wuss and I never even had to heal myself for it but maybe once or twice. Really I can't recall in the 6 times I did it to show people the ending they wanted to see, that I needed any curative stuff at all. Ansem was a wuss.

Xemnas was also a wuss. I wouldn't say Xaldin was harder. Xaldin was only hard because of the level in the game Sora was at the time. I waltzed through him easily. The only thing to worry about Xaldin was don't get stuck in a corner or he'll just wind blast you to death. Otherwise, I didn't have any challenge. The reaction commands made him lame.

Xemnas was more challenging than Ansem, so I was grateful for that and I do think the only 'difficult' parts were when it switched to Riku because of the surprise of it, and then button mashing versus the lasers. Of course, the only reason the button mashing laser part was difficult...is because I did not -read directions- and push -both- buttons. -.- I tend to not bother following directions and like to 'wing it' so that time I paid for it and had to replay the fight. I do agree he was easy, but it's a Square thing to do. I think they do it so that you don't get so frustrated after all your work elsewhere that you can't beat it...and also because we had to fight through the last boss to see the ending again and people might get mad having to do this extra challenging thing when they just want to watch the ending again.

Yeah, as others said, it's there to keep the Heartless at bay. The reason they come out after Sora is because he has a -Keyblade- which draws the Heartless to him. Otherwise the system probably works pretty good at making the Heartless not want to come out so much.

So Sora going there helps cut down on the population while the security defense system keeps the Heartless down and out so that people there can have semi-normal lives.

That's pretty cool. Never noticed that before. Kairi does have a history in all of this even though she was a kid and can't remember, so it makes sense her picture was there. I do hope in BBS or KH3 or somewhere they will be nice and explain Kairi's past and what happened at Radiant Gardens solidly, or at least more than they did.

I think the Chasers are the 3 good characters and am not seeing any relation at all to this theory.

As for the creatures, perhaps they are created by being lost souls or as suggested, from lost memories. I seriously do not think they are called Chasers though at all.

I'm pretty sure the Knight Symbol is something that they all wore, being affiliated to the same group originally that was meant to deal with probably the threat of those creatures that come out. Master Xehanort also presumably betrays the order of Knights or something...along with his apprentice and so the 3 chasers were sent to stop him. I thought pretty much that was the premise of the story.

As for the symbol itself, I believe it is the original symbol that Terra (who later becomes 'Xehanort and then Xemnas') takes the symbol and perverts it to the Heartless symbol for the Emblem Heartless, and then later as Xemnas makes it into the Nobody symbol. I noted there was no corrupted symbol on the former 'apprentice' of Master Xehanort despite having the same suit in a way as Riku wore. It could be that while inside Terra who lost his memories, Xehanort's Heartless spawned the design for the emblem Heartless. Later, as Xemnas, I think Terra's memory more returned and this is why he made the Nobody symbol and also was seeking revenge.

There's pretty well my take on it so far, which a good portion is a theory. I do think though that the symbol was originally something they wore by being in the Knights group and at one time Master Xehanort too was in it.

I have to buy a DS and don't really want to. So I guess we are all stuck buying handhelds that we may later find rather worthless. =:/ The PSP just has more games on it I'd rather play as I outgrew most Nintendo stuff a considerable while ago. I figure though when I buy the DS I can just give it away to someone else after who wants it as a gift or donate it to charity. So, it's not a total waste.

I know that Sora went to find Riku there. You miss my point entirely. In Sora's memories you can see in views that his friends are there and who is in the very back? It's Kairi that is 'closest' to his heart. The other point is that Namine used his 'feelings' for Kairi and put the memories that those 'feelings' were connected to Namine; not Kairi. This is why all through it, Donald and Goofy were wondering why Sora was being so over emotional and reactive about a 'girl' he shouldn't know. Namine superimposed herself over Kairi to guide his feelings at her instead. She explained that in CoM at the end.

If those two dated, they'd both be equals entirely. They'd take each other everywhere, be super hyper and laugh at others, and just be super hyper and energized. I don't think the world or universe could take those two dating. Places would fall in lightning and fire storms.

I always thought he was sitting on the throne...going to the bathroom as he's fighting Sora and Riku and is tossing things at them to get them to go away while he's hunting for the toilet paper. Those grunts sure sounded like he was really trying to get done with business. There's nothing like taking a dump out in the middle of the night on a castle roof sort of thing, looking up at the stars and these two kids won't stop picking on you.

I don't think it was equal situations at all. Riku had saved the others and been tossed to Darkness, gone for a year and Sora knew that he was doing things but eluding him directly. Saix also told him that Riku was gone and fallen. It made Sora full of despair. He was in trouble for an entire a year.

As for Kairi, she went back to the island. She got kidnapped and Sora was on his 'KNEES' begging for Kairi's return to be mocked. Riku grabbed him out of there and sent him on his way again. He also all through the story was looking at couples and I can assure you it wasn't 'Riku' he was dreaming of and thinking it was special. He was missing Kairi.

His desperation at seeing Riku and stopping him, grabbing his arm was because Riku was going to walk away through a Darkness Portal and be gone again. Sora had spent a lot of time trying to find Riku and been through a lot. He knew Riku had been instrumental to a lot of things and yet was not going to stick around. Riku had saved him and motivated him onward. Now if my friend secretly aided me despite being a tormented being himself and was going to just go off somewhere else, I'm grabbing his or her arm and trying to get them to stay and understand that whatever was in the past is over.

As for the hug with Kairi, he seemed very happy and surprised to see her. Maybe it's not the stuff of fairy tales because they weren't all hugging and kissing each other, but the hug seemed meaningful enough to me. It had to be cut short because Riku was going to take off once he saw that the two were together and everything was acceptable and how it should be. Riku was out of place. Sora didn't want him to go because he still belonged. Kairi's friendship with Sora seems very sincere and vice versa too. When they think of each other it is deep and meaningful. It's a devoted friendship that is the base probably for them to hit it off in a relationship. If not, they will at least be like brother and sister, but with how they feel nervous around each other etc, I think it's going to turn into them going out.

Whatever happens, it's clear to me that both Riku and Kairi are super important to Sora but Kairi was just that little bit closer to his heart. In CoM the most important person to Sora was Kairi. It was not Riku. He was 2nd most important in his heart. It showed that and was the reason Namine could manipulate him so badly. She just had to replace Sora's memory of Kairi with herself and any deed Namine did was small and acceptable. If he had not related her to Kairi in his heart as being so important, she might have gotten told off a bit more. Also, when in views in Sora's memories, his friends show up and Kairi is his final and most important memory to him.

Yeah, I did notice that too after you pointed it out and had to go check. *laughs* Of course they all had some unusual features like a couple had pointy ears too and everyone in KH2 had these HUGE hands as well. Xemnas, if he couldn't win outright with powers was going to plan on using his secret attack of biting Sora and Riku to death. That's so the reason.
