You can imitate 'Dodge Roll' really easy. It's just a martial arts sort of dive roll that goes to the front or sides. In gymnastics tumbling, you can also see those people do dodge rolls in a way with dive rolling. Quite a few of the moves Sora and Riku do, as well as others do, can be done in real life and are actual martial arts moves. Of course, then there are others such as glide and aerial dodge that we should not ever attempt.

This topic keeps coming up. Riku was never a Heartless himself. He never totally lost his Heart. When people said he 'fell to Darkness' or was 'gone to the Darkness' such as Ansem and Saix, it was misleading. Saix said it purely to rattle Sora. Also, it could be that Saix and others weren't sure what happened to Riku totally since from their perspective, Roxas 'beat' Riku and Riku turned himself over to Darkness taking the form of 'Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless'. They may really not have known he defeated the being within him at the Castle Oblivion in CoM. Riku only did speak to Axel and Namine of the Nobodies and attempted to talk to Roxas.

In KH1, Riku never lost his Heart. Instead, a Heartless merged with him. Xehanort's Heartless after he allowed this tried to kill Kairi, Donald and Goofy. Riku proved right there that he had not fully fallen to Darkness by his will (his heart and soul, mind) all coming forward at one time in front of Xehanort's Heartless and he held him at bay so the others could escape, find Heartless Sora and leave.

It was then that Xehanort's Heartless tossed Riku into Darkness, but Riku endured because he had Darkness within him but a will to live and his Heart had not totally surrendered to it. His spirit wound up in Darkness but he was not consumed by it to create a Nobody. Riku had no 'body' there but otherwise his spirit was in tact. He had his mind, soul and heart. He talks to Sora at the end of KH coaxing him on to fight 'Ansem' when Sora was falling. At the end when Ansem goes into Darkness after opening the door, Riku's body was returned to him. He had to remain in Darkness though to prevent Ansem from returning so that is why he remained behind.

I hope that clarifies it more for people to see. He was never like Sora, turned into a Heartless himself. He let Ansem have his body, but I believe seeing his friends in peril possibly saved Riku from being utterly consumed and instead made his will strong enough to face absolute Darkness when he was tossed in and keep his spirit all in tact to be able to leave to Castle Oblivion when the option presented itself. It's also clear that Riku was for a while in Darkness going along with King Mickey. So, you see, without a -heart- Riku would have a Nobody, but he never lost it at all. He did things that require a heart from the moment he let Ansem take him over to also being trapped in Darkness. In CoM as well, 'Ansem' returned to Riku and awakened the darkness 'in his heart' and it hurt Riku even physically. He had to continously fight Ansem, with the help of Mickey, to -keep his heart-. At the end of CoM, he is victorious in this and he states that even though Ansem is gone, the darkness of him remains in his heart. In KH2 he says that he suppressed the Darkness in his heart.

So there's the limited evidence that supports the fact Riku never actually lost his Heart in the whole thing. He lost his body only and his entire spirit otherwise was held together by Riku's will.

If there was no Sora in KH, I think the story would have been vastly different and Roxas would have fallen to Darkness instead of Riku. His temperament is totally different than Sora's and it was this that saved Sora really in all the face of animosity he had to cope with. Also, Sora is more amiable than Roxas so Roxas never would have made many friends, so might as well remove all the FF characters etc. Roxas would try to do the right thing but had a bad temper and stubborn reactions. I don't think he'd have been as interesting to go through the storyline as Sora was, even if Sora is like a big kid who can be clueless at times. Without Sora as well, I don't think Riku would have even been in the story because Roxas would be more angry than he was, and if Riku was, he'd either have fallen to darkness for a totally different reason or had to try to stop Roxas.

I rather feel Sora's actual friendly, amiable, clueless personality were needed to be the center of the story for KH1, CoM and KH2. That's not to say Sora didn't also make mistakes, because I can point out quite a few things I found that if Sora hadn't of done them, or noticed things earlier in KH, CoM and KH2, the story would have ended better for some others. I just think Roxas is a lot more assertive, angry, when he gets confused he gets mad in which Sora just goes 'huh?', etc. Also, he wouldn't have had Sora's patience to deal with certain scenes and Riku and Sora probably would have fought to the death over a mistake rather than just defeat.

I assumed it was Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless since he also appeared to Riku later in the same brownish cloak before Riku merged with him at Hollow Bastion. Also, I think, even though it's not expressively shown, that the figure was talking to Riku sometimes in the secret cave since before anyone else ever noticed the door, Riku as a child noticed it glowing. I really hope they do go into these things more later.

The only other person I thought it -might- be was Xemnas, but I lean stronger to Xehanort's Heartless since he was trying to merge with a Keyblade wielder.

Also, I believe if a topic exists, rather than making a new topic, we are supposed to reply to one that is older. I'm confused why people keep telling others to not post to an older thread when it says in the rules that is what we are supposed to do if the option presents itself. Perhaps a moderator could highlight and explain what the preferred action is? I'd like to know to ensure we are in the right or wrong.

Not sure how he makes you so angry. I found some of his expressions funny that I've seen, except for the secret ending, which he was looking like a really evil guy there. I'm also pretty sure that Master Xehanort and Xehanort/Ansem/Xemnas have a connection which I've expressed elsewhere as have others. There are a lot of theories going around about it. It looks like he probably will be the final boss in BBS though of course there could always be some extra super villain behind him that corrupted Master Xehanort in the first place so that part I keep open.

Where did you get the idea that video games are -for children-? If that was the case, games would not have ratings on them that are suggesting many are inappropriate for children. MANY adults play video games. MANY adults play computer games. The market is clearly not just meant for children and never was intended to be so. It was marked for a large range of audiences and many people enjoy them.

Many kids play higher rated games but many adults play the games that are more geared for kids. It doesn't mean a thing. To say you outgrew something implies it's not your cup of tea anymore. Scenes in the video games don't equate to what you relate to anymore and it's not just 'cute' anymore or 'fun to shoot things' anymore etc. The person's tastes changed. This -does- happen to people not with just video games but with clothing, furniture of their rooms, computers, sports etc.

As others have said, I think it depends on two things mainly. Your environment and your kid.

The environment you live in is important. Even if the kid is brilliant and listens to all mommy and daddy say, if the area you live in has kids that are kidnapped, dragged into gangs, beaten up by bullies etc and you can't get out of it, I'd be a helluva lot less likely to want my kid running around out there on his/her lonesome. This does not mean I would not try to get to know parents of the area and help the kid meet kids from school etc. It just means I'd try to ensure the kid has some kind of supervision. If I live in an area that is more peaceful, good neighbors and people around and all, then it is easier to let the kid out on his/her own more. However, I'd still make sure that the kid -told me- where he/she was going. Emergencies happen and even if the kid can go out, they should always tell a parent where they are. I did it and though at times I felt the rule was dumb, it was worth it.

Now for the kid part. I don't believe there is a set age I could even begin to place on a kid for this sort of thing. Kids are different. You see some really mature ones for their age and then you see the ones that are acting like they are 5 when they are 14. Of course, part of the maturity depends on the parents being informative and not just saying 'don't do this because I said so!'. Kids don't listen to that junk. Adults don't. We expect reasons why that make sense. If the kid is mature and I feel they can be trusted, I'd do it on an issue of test. First, I'd let the child play with others nearby so I can see how he/she does. As time goes on, I'd extend their limits of boundaries they cannot cross and after that, as long as there is keen communication, that could be extended further until I don't worry about it.

The biggest point though I would have to say is that regardless of how old the kids are, I think it only right they give a call to say if they are leaving an area and going to another because it's not just a matter of trust in the kids that's the problem. It's a matter of safety overall, and what -if- the worst happened? It will look awfully stupid to the police for the adult to say 'uh, I don't know where the kid went to.' It doesn't matter what age the kid is. A parent should have some knowledge as to where they are, and I feel that the kids are owed that same right when the parents leave. Sometimes, after all, adults get kidnapped too or run into troubles.

There are 'some' people that insist global warming is all laid on the humans. Some of it is natural though.

The point though is that 'part' of it is our fault. We did ruin the Ozone layer and it takes time to repair it. The repairs do seem to be happening but it's going to take years. This has increased global warming and the greenhouse effect. To ignore that we are responsible for the increased rush in drastic temperature changes seems not such a good idea.

It has not really leveled out. It grows worse. As I said, some of this -is- natural and the way things go and we must adapt if we are to endure, and sadly species will die out, but this has happened well before humans were around. We aren't responsible for all of the species of life dying out, despite what some environmentalists think. However, killing off the trees that do consume a vast majority of the carbon dioxide produced is causing more global warming than needed and we 'do' create a lot of carbon dioxide. The Ozone layer was wounded and is currently being repaired slowly. We do depend on fossil fuels and also the tons of cows that release methane gas which is also not good.

So, humans are increasing the rates of the changes, but are not solely responsible and what is happening would happen regardless. However, it really comes down to a matter of -time- and this would have been slower if we were not aiding it along. We should be looking to other methods than fossil fuels any way considering the fact that they are running lower. I think if anything, Global Warming is hyped up, certainly, and like anything else, you have your extremists that explain this stuff all bent and twisted. But it is real, and we aren't the cause, but we are propelling it faster than it should be happening. We can fix this by encouraging the study of technology to go in a direction that is more environmentally safe and yet does not shut down our businesses and all. It'd probably be a more worthy study than how to blow up the planet over 500 times with nukes.

Well said, Laurence Fox. I agree with everything you posted. You may have to discipline the child with a spanking, but it should be when all other options have been exhausted and not when the parent is not in control due to rage or anxiety.

I'm not saying it 'absolutely' has to be Aqua's Nobody or whatever. I just am saying that with the fact that there are 'no other' eligible females in the KH storyline of the past we know of yet to fit the bill, it seems most likely it could be her. Also, I don't see how she looks much younger. Terra or Xemnas were very tall people and towered over others. She looks small there, but at the same time, she's made to with the way she is standing, and Xemnas is looking down at her and I don't even think he was on the same level of flooring as her, though I could be wrong on that. I haven't seen the video in some time.

I just at this time see no other females that would be in the Organization or have a reason with the evidence of Xemnas having ties to the Chasers of the past and with how Ven looks exactly like Roxas, and Xemnas to me, with some color changes and a bit shorter of hair, looks like Terra. In theory, I think that Xemnas was trying to get his power up and to get his Heart back because he lost it when Master Xehanort merged with him. I think he was out to gather up forces and take revenge on what remains of Master Xehanort. I could explain the whole theory I have that so far sounds good even though there are some holes in it. I might do that soon and see what you guys think. Xemnas definitely was investigating the past and doing a lot and had the armor there in front of him, which was Aqua's. So it just seems to add up unless some wrench gets tossed in.

However, my point was just that at this time, unless some new female shows up in BBS, I am not seeing another option. It cannot be Namine, because Namine was at the Castle Oblivion held prisoner and she was never considered a worthy Nobody, instead called a witch etc. Her powers were useful but she was seen as weak and pathetic. Xemnas never indoctrinated her into the Org and did not give her a name with an X in it, making it an amalgam of Kairi. Simply put, she was never a -member- of the Org.

It cannot be Kairi. Kairi was on Destiny Islands at the time and she was clearly not a Nobody. She only leaves when Axel tries to get her, Riku takes her to Twilight Town and then later Axel snags her again, to be grabbed by Saix. She was clearly in school and living there at the Islands for her year apart from the other two friends she had. She can't be an option.

Olette can't really be either. She's seen in fake Twilight Town and the real one as just some girl with two friends.

So with that being said, it is more than likely, to me, a part of Aqua, or perhaps someone else new altogether. I have thought out that perhaps it was one of the PoHs from KH1, but in the end, that just didn't seem to add up either.

The giant black hole was there because Riku was coerced to open the door to darkness at the location by Xehanort's Heartless. It was either that or he was coerced to open the door to the island's Heart. Not sure exactly what door it is that is in the cave entirely. Once that was done though, the Darkside could come through and devour the world.

Also, yeah, your sig is really huge. You might want to shrink that quite a bit so that it doesn't reshape this topic section or others you post in.

I assumed it was Jiminy since he was along even if he goes by the philosophy of not saying anything unless he's needed for a scene.

I don't think it's Roxas at all but it could have been Kairi because 'guys' can be a neutral form of a collection of people, whether male or female. The reason I don't think it was Kairi is more along the lines of he felt she was on Destiny Islands safe and his mission to him was to get Riku back so they could go home. If he believed her gone back on the Islands, I'm not sure why he'd think of her but it is possible. I lean stronger though towards it was Jiminy he was referring to as it's a fact that the guy was there even if he does nothing.

I think part of the message is to the future, but most of it is to the past. We also were informed BBS takes place 10 years prior to Kingdom Hearts so I'm not sure why you think that it's in the future. Some of the message could relate to the future Kingdom Hearts 3 game but much of it appeared to be based on the past, as others have said. You might want to watch the secret ending again and also read the Nomura reports that Xaldin posted up. They are quite informative.

You know, your last comment is amusing. We all have different tastes in video games and some of us may not like what you do. It does not make anyone deserving to -not be playing- them. I'm sorry if I prefer the older Nintendo games to the newer ones that just have lost a lot over the years. I certainly don't expect everyone to be mutual on that or prefer the games I enjoy. The Wii gets the Nintendo games I do play and really, the DS is not a -complete- waste of money, but at the same time, I don't feel that people should be saying that I, or others for that matter, don't deserve to be playing any of them because we say we 'outgrew' some.

You do realize there's a whole market out there, a plethora of video games for assorted tastes? I doubt you like them all. No one likes them -all-. I am very happy for the selection out there and we all should be or sooner or later everyone would get bored. Then video games would die out.

In the end it does seem, as others have pointed out here, that we all have to buy at least one of the hand held consoles. As popular as they are, most of us just get one if any so that we could find our favorite games. I find that interesting as I would have thought more people already had both. I guess it's good for the gaming market in the end.

If I can't have Ultima, I would use the Oblivion keyblade. It has the most strong attacks and doesn't cut out combos, but also doesn't leave them open-ended so that you can't finish off the bosses. All of the bosses must be finished off with a finisher move. They can't die from combos.

If you are having trouble curing yourself at the multiple laser part, make sure you have the "Leaf Bracer" ability on. This allows you to cure yourself even as you are being hit and could save you and be what the problem is.

As others have said, don't bother using Forms at all because with the Org members especially, you have a greater chance entering the Anti-Sora form which is counterproductive here. It can work in a couple spots with the nobodies but it's not that great because the bosses have such huge life bars compared to your own.

Jumping around and moving during the fight really can save you here in the battle. Others have described a lot of strategies for you to try so I won't go into that. I actually used Oblivion though rather than Decisive Pumpkin. Of course, that's because I like Oblivion more and the level 6 damage it does.

Good luck. Thought I'd point out the leaf bracer ability since it looked like that may be an issue why you can't heal yourself when you need to.

I really don't like Michael Moore much as he's been noted to skew things and slant them to his own directions and misquote information. I am surprised Jeff Corwin is doing this. Kind of disappointing.

I do agree that the world is in some sad shape and the information is out there on how bad but I also do not like it when environmentalists take things to the extreme to make them worse than they are as well. It makes the other side that doesn't care as much say 'they are lying' so that things keep on as bad as they were. For once, it'd be nice to just have some honest, non-slanted reports instead of this way too far extreme fanatical work that Michael Moore is known to do. I suppose I will be required to actually watch it to say it is so bad, but anything else I've seen of Michael Moore's just is not very good. He raises points but then always goes way too far to bash them into people and has slandered things to meet his own agendas. I have no faith in the guy at all. However, I like Jeff Corwin so maybe it won't be -so bad-.

We do need to fix up the planet and all. However, I debate why Michael Moore, who cares about this junk so much, doesn't bother funding more money to such projects instead of just doing films so he can dress up and have a bigger house.
