Riku's eyes in KH even were 'changing' though not color, but the depth of them. When looking at Riku, his eyes were becoming brighter and more eerie as the story continued. I think he pretty well stopped it once he began using darkness neutrally instead of desperately and furiously as he was in KH, during CoM and later.

However, if his eyes were changing it would be a reason why the blindfold too, because he didn't want to see it. There's no way of really knowing though, since we never really see his eyes between when he becomes 'Ansem' and before he takes the blindfold off after being 'purified' by Kingdom Hearts.

If he defended someone else, then there is a chance that someone else might figure this out too. It seems if this is the case, he'd be much better turning himself in and even has witnesses perhaps that this other guy was a serious threat. I hope he does the right thing.

I see what Rook means in what he's telling you. He isn't bad mouthing you but telling you his thought that if it was a real secret, you wouldn't post it on a forum where others might see. There have been some murders and I think even the VA one with the guy that shot up a bunch of kids at VA tech had written about it in a vampire blog or something. I see what he's getting at so if something really serious happens, next time for your own safety you might want to pm people instead that you trust and ask advice. It's a risk putting it here and also people -can- draw their own conclusions off of what little was said. He's right that some of us might with what little information we had, have assumed that this guy was just trying to off some drug dealer in his turf or something. It happens often enough. He's not putting -you- down. He's just saying it was bad form to do. If you disagree with that, you do and it's no reason to really argue more about it from either side.

I posted some links to pics of the characters which show their colored eyes so we could compare and maybe it will help clear up some things. I don't think I missed anyone but there's always a chance. Maybe that will help us compare a bit more.

Ansem - Xehanort's Heartless - eyes are orangish colored.

    Gay Gene?

There is homosexuality in the animal kingdom. Bonobos especially show quite a bit of homosexuality, though at the same time, they mate and produce offspring as well and I do not think that most are strictly homosexual but instead 'bisexual'. Female hyenas have nearly '*****es' and will have sex with one another when no male is around in mating. Male rams have been seen mounting each other, as have male deer. Two male whales were observed rubbing one another and ready to go at it. Giraffe, other apes, guinea pigs, flamingos, penguins, dogs etc. There are many examples noted of it though it tends to be not known commonly for reasons that people still want to say that being gay is a crime against nature.

This is one of the reasons though I do not feel that being gay is strictly genetic. It would be a genetic 'flaw' or 'alteration' found in some 500 species perhaps or more that have exhibited gay and bisexual behavior. If more people knew about it, perhaps the talk of being gay, bisexual etc as a freak thing would stop. Mostly anymore, the worst bashers of it are those who are zealot religious and strictly follow a dogma laid out by books that say it's against their deity. However, this kind of information is not common household knowledge even if it can be looked up on the internet and there are a couple books on the subject. People have really fought about how it's presented and some prevent it from being told as best they can.

Yes, in KH1, Riku was supposed to be the true wielder of the Kingdom Key. He took it away from Sora twice. Once in Traverse Town, probably by error when it appeared in his hand and he gave it back to Sora, and the second time at Hollow Bastion, where he intentionally took it. Riku lost out to Sora though in the end because Riku turned to Darkness at Hollow Bastion.

It seems that it may be possible for Sora and Riku to pass Keyblades to one another, since Sora did take Way to the Dawn and use it along with his Keyblade to slice Xemnas and both used Way to the Dawn as a focus, which as a base Keyblade was more powerful than Kingdom Key, interestingly enough. Kingdom Key was a level 1 weapon, whereas WttD was a level 3 weapon. I think that was mostly due to not wanting poor Riku to be stuck with crap while Sora had a level 7 weapon heh, but it was something interesting to point out.

I understand now, and yeah, if he does the right thing, he may wish to apologize to the family and I think that's a positive maneuver if he goes forth and confesses. Again, I hope you both do what's right even if it hurts and you'll both be okay.

Yes, Sora called the Keyblade to him. If you notice all through KH-KH2, Sora can make it go away and come back whenever really. The only one who took a Keyblade from him was Riku, because Riku was actually the one meant for the Keyblade before he chose Darkness. All of the Keyblade wielders can send the Keyblades away and call them back. They are tied to them. The reason for this is simple...keys get lost too easily to not have some way to get them back. =:)

I agree with you. His life and what he does are in the hands of PAW and himself right now, as well as the forensics team that's obviously going to investigate.

The reason I say to not do it is that it's as though he's turning himself in and also it puts himself in danger in 2 ways.

    1. Court - the family may be so mad at this murder and that the person came to say 'sorry' that they may set him up and tell the court he was trying to get out of 'murder' charges by fessing to the family and hoping it would be covered up. Most families, even if their kid or sibling is a drug dealer, aren't going to say 'well they deserved it' in face of a person that killed the person. Instead, they will normally be mad even if they know what this guy was doing.

    2. They may be enraged enough to try to kill or hurt this friend very badly if he goes to talk face to face.

Either way, the chances of him being turned in are very high, and it won't have the same power and effect this person would want. He'd be tossing his choice to the wind and letting others take over and twist his words and deed around. He's far better off to turn himself in and let the law protect him and the family etc. I know it sounds weird but consulting the family is the -last- thing he should do unless they want to talk to him while he is in prison or he confesses to them after he's turned himself in.

If you do that, PAW, that's as good as turning him in. His family is assuredly not going to just keep quiet about such a thing. It would be better if he went to the authorities instead and turned himself in, and if he wanted to apologize to the family, he do so then. Turning himself in is the best option. Going to the family would be a bad one.

I can understand that, which is why I think you should help him out but also encourage him strongly to do the right thing and turn himself in. You would be supportive and help him also during the trial and you could also see him if he goes to prison with visitation rights. Hiding it may be your option right now, but if he steps forward, he might get a lot less of a sentence for what he did. Especially if the guy is a well known drug dealer etc. It's very emotional and I hope you both work something out you can live with.

    LOL

I had to post the pics just so everyone knew how disturbing it was. It's really a let down to see how they've altered. I knew someone else besides me would say "NOOOO!" (Imitate a Luke Skywalker scream after Vader says he's Luke's pa) when they saw those. The proper moogles need to be brought back!

That's a very rough position to be in. I'm sorry to hear all that.

    1. I would say that this puts you in a rough position indeed, again. I would try to find out the reasons why he did such an act because it is a very extreme deed to do.

    2. I think you did right in comforting him, but that is one helluva secret to keep in and if I were in your place, I probably would try to see if he would not confess the deed. I wouldn't tell others really, but I would try to see if he would actually do the right thing because if he confessed and it was a serious dilemma that inspired him to do this, he may not be charged so heavily. If they find out it was him and he did nothing...that could cause him a lot more pain and well, a lot longer in prison. Also keeping it held in could make the law think you are aiding a criminal so it does put you in a bad spot too if it's discovered you knew and did nothing at all.

    3. Much of what I said in #2. Try to see if he will confess to it and perhaps he should try to get his evidence to support why and such. If you keep it a secret and he does, he has to live with it for the rest of his life hidden. If you do both keep it a secret and it isn't discovered, he'll be fortunate in one sense, but if it is found out, which it has more of a chance of such happening, he's going to be in for a world of hurt.

    4. What I said above is what I'd do. I'd be torn but try to convince him to present himself. If that didn't work, I have to say I doubt I'd say anything for a while if I understood and could sympathize. I know others would disagree with me on this since it is a 'murder' but I'd really rather that person do the right thing and push him to it than just rat him out. Being as the guy he murdered was a drug dealer, it seems there may be some reasoning to it and if he comes forward it may be a lot easier on him. If he doesn't though, you may have to make up your own mind as to whether you can live with someone's death being caused by your friend and held in secrecy or not. Good luck with this PAW. I don't envy the position you are in.

I get what you were saying too. As I said, I think that I just wasn't coming across very well and that happens when we discuss such personal issues as 'emotions' because we all are going to react. You are speechless! I'm so having bragging rights or something about that. =:)

I so agree here. I like the older moogles. They were cute and at least KH still has the moogles right. I blame FFT as it drew out moogles differently and for some reason that trend went to FFTA and to FFXII and some in FF XI. I miss the good old moogles and do hope they will go back to how they were. These to me just aren't the same. =:/

I just say the crass words if that's how it's going to be rather than making up stuff. However, I won't say I don't invent some catch phrase cussings. I just accept in the end whether you say 'what the fudge' or 'what the ****' I'm still saying the same thing.

Thanks for the revision in the rules. I do think some were outdated before and now it is clear and concise so that we can all understand them. Thanks for adding that thing about L337 speech too. There's nothing so annoying as trying to talk to people and work hard on a post and someone comes back with gibberish in a half sentence. This isn't to say I won't work on shortening some posts instead of putting out the essays I seem to create. =:/

That was my problem too. Some things were so exaggerated and made little to no sense or were just to kiddish for me. I could get into KH but the mangas made me feel like I was 5 reading them. The expressions and all with the characters were just wrong at times, and then there are the plot changes too. It should have stuck better to the actual game instead of taking liberties to do different things entirely with some characters. I won't say I didn't find some areas amusing though, but I guess it just made characters of KH seem very out of character.
