Yeah, I think DiZ may have had a bit to do with it. I'm pretty sure Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) had nothing really to do with it. The scene opened up that Riku was pretty asleep and woke up and a voice talked to him and he was given a choice to remain in Darkness or to leave and face Ansem and deal with his past so he could move on. Also, yes, it was said somewhere that Riku's connection to Sora made it possible for him to leave since Sora was at the castle.
I so agree. Uwe Boll's films are wretched and I wish he'd stop ruining things that I actually thought were cool at one time. I still shudder at movies of his I've been forced to watch because I went with friends and they insisted they couldn't be 'that bad'. After some suitable punishment of having to sit through them, of course I laughed at my friends and had the full rights to say "I told you so". Some day they will stop funding him so he can stop raping some decent story lines in games. I think I really just give up going to any film with his name on it. I'm that fed up and determined he couldn't make a film worth anything if his life depended on it.
I tend to listen to some Enya and/or Enigma and some other music that I can relax to and focus on the background music as well as the voices. Also sometimes singing to sad songs that are relating to why I am sad helps get me back in the right frame of mind.
Yes, those were awesome. The original is probably my favorite. Leslie Nielson is a great actor and I think my favorite line is "Don't call me Shirley" every time someone says "surely". If people haven't seen these movies, hopefully they will get a chance to. There is some great humor in them that just makes them classics.
Hmm, sucks it's going to be that long away, but at the same time, I have nothing wrong with waiting for a game that gets improvements and makes the gaming experience more vivid and enjoyable. MGS4 looks great already so I'll be patient. somehow.
Yeah, this game looks great. Bad news for bank accounts...so true. Good news for us who will play it though if the game is as awesome as it looks so far.
Niiiiice. Much better than the White Room advertisements. I also <3 that song heh. That's so much more exhilarating and shows more of the actual games on it and the power.
Yeah, they did a pretty decent job though I could tell they were not the actual voices. Elizabeth's voice was the most off sounding to me, but they all did well considering they were not the actual people who did the initial voices. At first the original actors were slotted even on IMDB but because of the other movies expectations, they could not do it.
Yeah, it was sexist, but I think Nomura was basically implying that 'Xemnas' would be that sexist to not leave a woman in charge. Luxord would have been a better choice but it seems that a lot of people Xemnas didn't seem to care about ended up there while others were doing things. Why Zexion and Lexaeus ended up there though, is an odd thing since it seems both were loyal to the Org for the most part. Vexen and Marluxia were the two investigating things they shouldn't have been. Which leads to the next question you asked. Marluxia and Vexen both were doing research and snooping around as to why Xemnas was 'sleeping' and into his private affairs. Marluxia found a weakness and when Sora showed up, he saw it as a vantage point to get rid of Xemnas and take over, using the Keyblade wielder to do so. However, Sora was less than cooperative. Vexen also wanted to try to use Sora and then they found Riku and tried to use him, but Riku was just as stubborn to not be used, if not more so than Sora. Vexen knew Marluxia wanted to use Sora and take over the Org so he planned to counter using Riku, and when Riku was proving too stubborn, the Riku Replica was brought out. In the end, Marluxia wanted to run the Org and Vexen wanted Xemnas gone too, but certainly was not willing to let Marluxia take charge, so they were foiling each other's plans, while Riku and Sora were struggling to not be used and get by. I believe that's the basic gist of the whole thing. Marluxia -at least- knew where Xemnas was as he slept and if Sora would have gone along with what he wanted, he'd have been top dog. Larxene I think was just in it because she did not like the status quo and being held back, and Xemnas was pretty stern with the Nobodies. She had been not happy at being forced to join so it worked for her to aid Marluxia when such a promising fate occurred (Sora showing up and Marluxia using Namine to draw him there.).
The Chasers seem to be Aqua, Ven and Terra and have nothing to do with types of enemies. The Endless do seem to possibly be the name of the enemy in KH BBS. It seems reasonable. It may be wrong but there's a good chance the Endless are beings that somehow lost their souls.
I would be for the idea. It seems that if the poems are getting lost adrift all of the other topics, it might be a neat way of collecting them. Sure, I don't read teenage angst poetry either, but I don't decide what people do poetry about. It sounds like quite a few people like to read and write poetry so if it is going to get this sort of attention, I don't see why it can't have its own sub-forum in the creativity area.
One Winged Angel, Liberi Fatali, Eyes On Me, Terra's Theme, Shadow's Theme, JENOVA and some others I can't recall right now. Those are the ones that stick out most to me that I enjoyed. I do agree though that they have been playing OWA too much lately.
Yeah, I researched that and found I made a mistake with the FF XI one but the other moogles from the FFT and FFTA are legit and FF XII and well, I hate the design. It stinks. Then again, I wasn't a big fan of those games either but to advance characters in as many classes as I could to see how they'd turn out. I really didn't care much for the actual stories. I am glad FF XI has Moogles right and KH still does. I'm hoping in FF XIII they go back to the standard design too if they are in the game. FF XIII and the counter game to it really are looking good so far and I can't wait to get it. Thanks for pointing out my error.
Playing the game on Proud Mode is actually easier and less time consuming if you want the secret ending and don't want to mess with the Journal. I completed the journal the second time I played the game just to say I did it and explore the game more but really, if you don't want to waste the hours it takes to do that, I'd suggest doing the game in Proud Mode. It really isn't that much harder I don't think, though I have to say I never played it on another setting. Sadly, also, there is no way, after you beat Xemnas the second time, to save your game if you don't play KH2:FM. You have no choice but to go to the last saved spot and finish things from there if you want to do the journal and other things. It stinks but I guess the point of it is that you are done when you decide to step through those doors.
Even in Japan Marluxia is considered the ultimate bishie. Not sure why you say pink makes him more manly. Originally, Nomura intended Marluxia to be a female and that is why he had the flowers and pink hair. His intention however was scratched when he figured Xemnas was the sort that would never just put a female in charge of the Castle so it was altered for Marluxia to be male.
Really, the death scenes in CoM even with the small crappy imagery we had available, were quite serious and I understood the intent. Also seeing the Riku Replica get tossed around and his eyes were open creeped me out more than the death scenes, other than perhaps Zexion's because he just looked so darn scared. KH, I doubt, was ever just intended alone for kids. The background plot of people fading away by Heartless, worlds in peril etc...the loss of life, homes etc...that's serious stuff. The Disney was expertly crafted in to tone down a very serious tale and make it friendly for kids, if you think about it. It waters down some tremendous situations that without it probably would have earned the game an immediate T rating instead of K-7 for even the first game. I think all along the games were meant for a variety of ages and depending on how deep you look, the more you get out of it. That's why the games are so successful. I liked the more vivid show of what happened in RE:CoM and hope if it ever does come out in english, and not just translated (not to mention I wish we'd get the rest of the Reverse Rebirth here) that they don't cut out those scenes because they are dramatic and empowering.
I went with Lexaeus instead of Saix. Speed and strength were useful for Riku but in the end Lexaeus was a very hard battle because of his toughness of defense and strength. Also in KH2:FM he appears to be pretty darn tough. Saix was not a problem for me. Of course, if there's a full moon, Saix is strong, but Lexaeus also has invulnerability when he gets that volcanic fire aura going about him and zooms around. I think Lex would take Saix even though it'd be a good match.
It's a rough situation. Hang in there, PAW. I think anyone in the same situation would feel lost and confused and well, frustrated.
It is a confusing thing in that scene. I have wondered the same thing too and surmised that it may have been DiZ or the voice that talked to Sora and perhaps Riku on Destiny Islands when Sora first had to choose what he would do with the Keyblade. (being a warrior, defender, mage thing). I'm pretty sure it was not Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless), so that pretty well only leaves the other two. I'm also fairly sure it was not King Mickey as Riku and he drifted apart and at first when Riku and Mickey do meet again, King Mickey is not really at the castle.
The Keyblades choose their own wielders. Presumably a qualification to having one would be a strong heart, but also probably you'd need to match and align in temperament to the purpose of the Keyblade and what it represents too. I don't think just 'anyone' can be a Keyblade wielder even if they have the right mental qualifications. It's a choice to the Keyblade. As for Soul Eater, I think that was a Keyblade in slumber, if you will. It was a magical sword with an odd name, that also looks a lot like one of the Keyblades in the trailer for the Chasers in the past. It became a whole Keyblade with key chain after Kingdom Hearts altered it. Interestingly enough, the heartless emblem symbol is the key chain. I do wonder what that's going to mean.
