Just...wow. You know, if people are so worried about their children being obese, they should be taking them to a nutritionist and also telling them to do more in gym class than stand around and laugh at kids that actually 'play' in the sports. Also, try to get them in a sport or to go to a gym or get a pool or something so there's more activity in the child's life. Due to the fact -more- children are becoming obese, I think that says it's the diets and activities that are wrong for many of them, though of course some really do have very crappy metabolisms and could use the assistance any way. Santa is an icon that has been around. First, he's not a kid. He's a guy that is old, around his 50s or 60s or something. He's chubby and dressed in a lot of clothes for winter and delivers presents etc. He looks friendly as he is and non intimidating. I suppose in some show they could have him 'slim down' but ...why? He's not that fat and is actually pretty active whether people want to say he's obese or not, unless you account for the way Tim Burton has him portrayed. Then yeah, he's so rotund you wonder how he walks around on those twig legs. He's not a kid or even someone in his 30s etc. Someone else said it well...how many kids look at Santa and say 'I wanna be fat like Santa!'?. Sure, they may say they want to give out gifts and such...but who is really out there saying they want to look like him? Seems to me to be a way for those stupid parents that blame everything else once again for their children's states once again. People need to tell parents to raise their own children, take care of them, get them to be kids and exercise and do things healthier and leave an icon alone. I still wait for them to complain about Jesus having long hair so boys will stop wanting to grow their hair out because we all like to point out that even he has long hair. This is along the same levels of stupid except I don't see chubby children going 'Well, Santa's fat!' as a reason to keep being in that state.
I would say that there is enough evidence in our history as well as that in primate history to show that there is competition and such. We are social creatures and so of course, we unite and group, work together and expand. However, other groups with different agendas, stances etc can become recognized as threats when hostility becomes an avenue or people simply can't communicate any common stances they share with one another so it causes turmoil and friction. When something happens with another group to get our attention, I believe it is in our nature to say it is 'us versus them' in some ways once we reach a point where communication doesn't work. Often reasons such as religion, political views, better land etc are given but at the same time, how do we convince people to gear up and go to battle? Often soldiers are rallied and civilians are told what we 'should know' by making the 'enemy' out to be a true villain of some sort. This isn't to say that sometimes the people who are fought against, some of them might really be cruel and despotic, but also because there is a mentality of 'us versus them' others around these people are also considered 'less than human'. Another side thing to mention is the fact that many people tend to not think of how others live, the regular people (not the leaders necessarily), and how they suffer etc without it being broadcast to them in some way. We can tend to disassociate things such as the bad case of Aids that troubles Africa or Malaria there, militant groups running wild in areas and also subjugation to people that are little more than war lords. If we see these activities however, and can sympathize, we want to reach out. It does take a lot though to make the regular populace care when of course we are working, feeding our families etc and have things to concern ourselves with at home. This is a lighter version of 'us versus them' in that of course, the groups you are in, you would defend first. Also, think of how some families have fights within but if someone outside of that family starts things, well the family comes together. It also can be seen with gang mentality. It has become too easy a thing to use things such as political agendas are different, beliefs and thought patterns are different, religion is different, the color of skin is different, the clothes they wear are different etc as reasons to get people of a social group to mistrust another. That to me would be the main underlying cause of war in the end and it is instinctual. To survive in social groups and bands, a person would want to be part of that group and another group is less of a concern, and if there is any genuine compassion, that group tends to merge with the other, making that culture more diverse and killing off some immediate 'prejudiced' thoughts. If contact fails to find enough likeness to merge and co-exist, it becomes a threat. If communication is successful though, societies change and expand. That to me seems to be the trend.
Hmm, that does look suspicious because the cover is of the race with Sora and Riku. It does make me wonder if it's really KH2 or not. Also, some of the names for the short story titles sound more like KH than KH2. Nonetheless, I will hope it is KH2 and wait for it to come out. I think I'll try to order it off Amazon since it's always easier to get certain things there than bother with checking book stores here. Very good find, Xaldin, as usual.
Yeah there was a Keyblade that looked a lot like WttD. I do wonder if it was called that originally. It is why I theorize that it became Soul Eater after events in BBS and was a Keyblade in 'dormancy' until Kingdom Hearts awakened it and changed Riku back to normal. Also, it was an unusual blade to just give to Riku and for it to not have had a history seemed odd to me. Considering some of BBS takes place on Maleficent's home world, it doesn't surprise me that she would get it and then give it to Riku, knowing what he was. It was capable of killing Heartless, as it was shown even in KH where he used it to destroy one that was sneaking up on Sora, and other areas. He also used it in KH2 to do the same without Sora being around. So far, saying it was a Keyblade that had lost some of its power and was hidden seems to be the only fair explanation I can give it at this time.
I feel compelled to bring up another point that I am not sure if we see eye to eye on and perhaps you'd want to respond to, well a couple issues any way. A couple responses on what 'love' is to me sounded as though they were still an obsession. Maybe I'm a cynic. Bear with me here because I don't disagree all the way but just want to point something out that bugs me on it. I suppose the 'I'd do anything for their love" thing just turns me to thinking it isn't real love. Of course, you want to do things that make the other person happy but you also have to think of yourself and others too. Then again, I will absolutely not profess to be a romantic except for doing things that I know someone would like and to stop doing annoying habits if I can. I'm true to self and true to the other person, I give but I also take. That to me is more 'real' than what is being described here because in reality you want to be happy and want the other person to be happy. It is not just about you making someone else happy all the time. Otherwise it's not true either and the other person will likely get bored with it and some people heavily take advantage of this weakness and leave the other high and dry. I hope that doesn't come off as selfish, but I do see too many great people put their hearts on their sleeves and then get burned because that feeling alters as things go on and the relationship matures. The other thing I forgot to add is Love for a relationship is mutual. It is a give and take thing. It is a receiving and sharing thing between two people. Infatuation is an obsession that the other person you want may not even feel towards you. MANY romantic sorts have argued that point with me that you can love someone and they don't love you. They expect someone else will grow and change to love them. Sure, you can, but it's never going to evolve past that if it is unknown and therefore not a feeling that's going anywhere. It's empty and time to move on to someone that will share his/her existence with you. Even if someone is having sex with you, if the feelings aren't there beyond that on the other person's side, it's not going to work out and it's time to call it quits. I will agree with Wabba that generally speaking, infatuated people are thinking of sex, but not that alone. As I said before, I think it's more the experience of the 5 senses to the maximum with that person desired, which doesn't always have to be sex. It can be holding the person, touching the person, wanting the person there to do things with such as listen to you, making you feel good. It is a 'for self advancement' thing really. Sex is the ultimate experience of the 5 senses in a way but without the love in it, that gets boring with that person too.
Well, it'd be taken more serious if you actually posted like you cared other than defending spelling like that. Also, if you want to learn Japanesse, there's no such thing as that language. It's "Japanese". No one 'wants' to pick on you, but are you even trying? If you show some care at all, even if you are a bad speller, people would have more sympathy. Instead, we get treated to more of this crap and a (f u) and more misspellings and no punctuation at all. You are very defensive for someone that wrote that post with no care in the world. Please understand the other side. As for learning Japanese, there are some ways online to practice without having to pay much but that route is difficult. However, if you try to take some of the words and watch anime to hear them, you can tell how they are pronounced correctly and as time goes on, keep adding more words to your vocabulary each day, building up and using some shows as a base for entertainment, or songs and other Japanese media. Another way to do it is to go to a university and look in the book shop for some beginning Japanese book like Japanese 101. They should also have tapes or something. If you are going the free route, it is much more difficult but can be done through a lot of effort. Good luck with it!
I would say the main difference is that when you are in love with someone, you want to be with that person and have that person in your life to do other things with than just enjoy the 5 senses with. When infatuated you want to see the person, smell the person, touch the person, hear the person etc. It's like a drug to you to be around this person and exposed to the hormonal changes that it brings to you. Sometimes with infatuation, you also make the person seem larger than life, as in the person is some kind of savior to you, the person is so beautiful or handsome, the person can do no wrong, etc. With infatuation as well, it is an obsession and something you would be all in a panic over losing. You get jealous a lot easier and mistrusting of others. When in love with someone, you enjoy those hormonal changes but you also want to be the person's friend and you want to know the person inside and out. You ask questions about the person, you see the person's flaws and accept them for what they are and don't try to cover them with 'oh, but I loooooooove that person any way!' You can argue with the person, debate, and yet you both forgive and move on. The person becomes your best friend and you trust that person with secrets but aren't naive about it. You don't also give the person attributes they don't have but see them as cool as they are and know that you and that person both can improve as the future goes on. Lastly, I'd say you are truly in love with someone when you can see yourself with that person 50+ years from now and not be like 'ewww, he/she will be old and wrinkly then'.
I've heard of it from a friend that bought some plants of it a couple years ago and tried it. As a person that mostly refrains from doing anything worse to myself than OD'ing on caffeine probably, I generally don't want to put anything in myself that is going to make me act too stupid. Sure, now and then I've gotten drunk but never to the point either that I can't remember things like some people claim. However, it's nearly impossible at my age to not know quite a few people that have smoked dope or done worse. Salvia appears really to not be worse than pot, which I don't really mind. If it was something harder than that, I'd have a bigger deal with it because I really do not like drugs that change people entirely or can kill someone after just trying it even once. I do admit my only exposure to this was from one friend who talks to me now and then, so I do need to research it more myself. He's kind of eccentric and likes to smoke various tobaccos and such to relax and somehow found out about it. So far, it seems the plant is not that 'harmful' though smoking it, as with smoking 'anything' in abundance, can cause harm to your lungs. As for other effects, you are right, so far there is little known about it and if it causes any other residual long term effects. I do not know how long they will let this drug be 'legal' to have since they have a tendency to want to get rid of anything that can make people have an excuse to be stupid, other than alcohol because the wealthy like to drink that still whether some are conservative religious sorts or not. Prohibition proved that. I would say if things happen where this drug is found in people's systems, such as driving around with Salvia in the system and accidents happen, fights happening where some of the teens or adults are found to be using Salvia etc, it will become something where mainstream audiences frown upon it and then something will be done. If people did not act stupid with it (like they do on alcohol but that won't be illegal for reasons of again, look at the prohibition), then we can count on the fact that it could be illegal in more and more states each upcoming year.
I wouldn't say that. Sora was nice even though Namine was not and just stood there like 'oh well, when he's gone, Sora's with me!' I really didn't think Namine was so great in CoM. She could have at least apologized to Riku Replica. Riku also did try to avoid fighting Riku Replica and really was confused by the whole thing. He wasn't having fun fighting him. In the end, he also could have just walked away as Riku Replica was dying but stayed there and offered some consolation, even though it wasn't so much what Repliku wanted to hear. To me, that was pretty sympathetic, especially after someone wanted to kill him for his identity. I still think just seeing what Namine did and then he just was there with his eyes open and Larxene tossed him aside etc...that was pretty eerie and cold. It's a shame he had to die but I am glad he did rather than suffer the horrible manga ending that was horrible.
I've seen PS2 games on the PS3 and they look more vivid and sharp. I don't see any reason why KH2 wouldn't look better too.
Hmm... Gliding around aimlessly was great fun on some worlds. Another favorite thing is going and having Sora stand by a high step or ledge and having your party members try to jump up with you but because you are right in their way kind of, they keep doing it repeatedly and look funny. This is great with any party members at all, including Riku. I just have this image they are telling him to gtf out of the way. You can also do this with your team mates standing beside a ledge that goes down when you are all 3 up on something and the others will assume you are going to jump off, but don't! It's fun to see them leap off and then somehow leap back up there by air in some spots. This happened more often in KH but it happens in KH2 in some spots too. Running around with dash in Pride Rock area was great and someone also mentioned the fall from Pride Rock itself. It's like leaping without a bungee cord. I also liked jumping off things and falling in KH too because Sora was totally able to get away with more there, such as jumping off the high tree house in Deep Jungle and landing in the camp below. Good stuff. What's funny is these things can be done without glide. Sora is invulnerable to falling. Having the team mates do things while Sora stands with his hands behind his head as they kick butt or when out of battle just stare at him like 'so what now?' They tend to look as lame as Sora does as they wait on him. Faking out Riku in the run. The first part of getting him to fall in the water is entertaining but then you can even be more mean by racing as though you are going to the tower to climb up but then cut over after and go down to the sand instead. He gets confused and runs to the tower and then has to catch up with you. Of course, sometimes he'd get me back when I tried leaping on a tree at the same time as him and I'd get knocked off. Guess it's karma. I didn't like Wisdom form that much but it was fun to change into it and just blast things from a range before you caught up to them and not hit any foes directly, almost like a shooter game. It was like having Sora say they weren't worth the energy to go beat on so have some light magic in the face! I'm sure there's more, but the game was entertaining to find little things to do around.
I think that computers are viable evidence, just as searching your home would be if you were suspected of a crime, such as this woman was. I'm sure they had to have a warrant issued by the judge to even go back to her place and search it so that I cannot say I am against. As for the college issue, it is the right of the college in the end to determine if they would allow people to search their computer isp because the college does provide the students with access to the internet. When you use a college computer connection, you are viable to their standards of compliance. If you disobey it, you are bound to be in some trouble. However, if it went into...say going into your home computer and they have no reason to suspect you of anything and then low and behold found porn on someone's computer who is under age...well, that is wrong to me. A child's computer by rights is the parent's property to investigate; not some outside force unless there is a legitimate warrant and reason. I don't see that things have gone that bad though as of this time so I hope that it continues to not get to that point. It is something to watch for though so that if something like that were to happen, we could all raise voices against such things. I do see a need to have caution with this and it is good people know of it because as someone else pointed out, a lot of information is held on computers including links to sites they might not want people knowing of, social security numbers, bank statements, ebay accounts etc. These sorts of things hackers will try to get but as long as we don't just download questionable material and have a good virus checker for trojans and the like, we are relatively safe. Legal matters with a warrant I'm not against if it prevents catastrophe or does put some pedophile away etc.
Hmm, about now, going to the mall, I can say I saw a variety of different sorts of clothes. Some were drab and plain, some were short etc, and some were goth/punk, while others were casual drab again, and some good office sorts of clothes. I will say that really I think if anything, fashion is expanding in a way even if I am not crazy about some of the casual boring stuff out now. I don't like bright colors but also am just not into plaid or corduroy at all. I admit to having a thing more for darker clothes but even some of those fashions have been boring, or they are too obnoxious for me to bother with. It seems there's more of a variety though of clothes you can choose to wear based on what 'stereotype' you want to fit in. I tend to not believe in stereotype so I mix and match stuff how I feel like it. I think fashion goes to extremes in ways, sure, but if there was not as much diversity, clothes would just be things you put on and don't think about. (Not that I don't do that any way cuz all I buy often are weird saying T-shirts and baggy pants). There are definitely things I would not let touch my flesh that is out now, but other stuff is alright.
I believe that I wouldn't bother with cosmetic surgery myself unless I needed to, but really, I don't feel I have any rights to tell someone else what he or she can do with his/her body at age 18 and older. I may find some of it terribly unneeded and fake, while other things such as laser hair removal, breast reduction surgery, removal of scars, removal of burn scars etc, I can understand why it is done. These help many people feel better about themselves and also let them be accepted more by society and not ridiculed. I have yet to understand the other things like breast implants, other silicon implants such as in the legs etc for muscular appearance and jobs on a nose etc. However, even if I consider it rather ugly and unneeded, unwarranted on myself, I am reluctant to say that no one should have the opportunity to do it. A person's body, to me, is a vessel. It's what you physically get around in and it's yours to do with whatever you want to. If you want to hinder it, make it ugly, make it look like someone else, paint yourself with tattoos etc, I believe it is your right. The same goes for gender changes, though I do agree with the precautions set forth and that psychologically the persons wanting to do gender changes should be examined to make sure it's -really- what they want. After all, the person will be sterile and it's a big choice to want to be on hormones etc for the rest of your life. I would worry making it illegal would also make it illegal sooner or later to do tattoos or piercings anywhere other than ears etc. People try their hardest to make sure men and women can only do 'so much' to themselves in the work place and in some cases that's as strict as making it a national law, even if it's just being able to grow your hair past your collar or dying it an 'unnatural' color. I don't like the extreme makeovers but due to the reasons mentioned, I would not make them something for 'specific' people and taken 'off the shelf' for normal people. That's being selective and already insurance is selective enough on what people can have for themselves as to what it considers 'cosmetic' or not. Removing it utterly from people's rights just seems bad to me.
If it was made by Scientologists, it all makes sense. I've seen a lot of religious zealots bash psychiatry and psychology, as well as neurological fields too often saying things are just 'in the head' and illusory. In some cases, I agree that people are just being nutty for attention. However, in others, they are very serious and I have no idea how these people can be so blind as to not be able to tell it. I remember when Brooke Shields spoke out about postpartum depression and that it really messed up her life until she went to get treatment and felt much better and also didn't lose her family. Tom Cruise said a winning line on Oprah that later he apologized for, but it was in effect that she should not be taking medication and to get off it before it ruins her, and not to advertise it to others. For a group of people that believe in a story that would take me to be on an acid trip to even start fathoming, they should leave psychiatry alone.
It really isn't that hard. Just post in other areas than the Spam Zone and hang around with us some. You can make premium in around 3 to 5 months if you do so. It's not that bad really. Don't give up. Meanwhile, come chat around in other areas with us and have some fun.

I believe they were just unused pods, except for the one that had malfunctioned. There may be some significance to them. It does seem interesting that some were used and there are spare ones just laying around.
I would get this game alone for the reason to be able to play as Riku. I do hope his story is included in this since Nomura did say he wanted to show more how Riku learned to use Darkness and how he changed. I hope his info is not all in Coded instead. That would just stink.
