I just have one thing to say though before this ends. At least you didn't put in "L-Block" and some of the other stupid ones that gamefaq did. Thank you. All these people are actually contenders that can kick butt.

At the end of RR CoM, King Mickey and DiZ showed up and King Mickey had the robe for Riku. Mickey was also wearing one. As for where they came from, I would imagine since all of the Nobodies do not just appear with an Org cloak, that some were put away to give to new recruits or they were made by DiZ perhaps. Maybe Vexen had a machine for them...it is a good question. I'm pretty sure they didn't get them from -dead- Nobodies because as you said, they disappear when destroyed, so my guess would be they were stored somewhere probably in Marluxia's level since he was the 'leader' so that he could give them to people.

I'm kind of confused really. To me, they always seemed to be the bright emerald green color and changed according to lighting, as did his marks beneath his eyes, which some friends and I had some debate over what color the tattoo marks were due to that. I think they just changed to what was around but were meant to just be that brilliant emerald green.

I like both Riku and Sora but if I really had to choose, I'd say Riku, even though I also acknowledge Sora's strengths. And no, it's not for hawtness. Some reasons are...

Riku was very benevolent and -did- train Sora and other kids on the Islands and did things for others. He had a flaw of insecurity and would do some things to feel 'needed' which to me suggests that at some point he lost someone or some people close to him and blamed himself for it. Needless to say, I think he had good intentions and even if he didn't want to be 'alone' his actions were kind for the most part even if he did want to be 'cool' otherwise and played things off to sarcasm. He also before he fell to Darkness, lost with dignity, whereas Sora is always 'Awww!" and also was not bragging when he won either, unlike Sora who was cheering away.

Riku may have wanted to 'follow his Heart' more but what he did that Sora did not often was that he followed his brain. Sure, in KH he was led down a path because of his flaw to want to feel important so his friends wouldn't abandon him...but everything even there he did, he did for his friends. He was willing to toss himself to Darkness to save Kairi. Sure, he should have tried to listen to Sora more but at the same time, Sora was not -saying anything- most of the time either. Their miscommunication as I saw it was both of their faults. Riku though was smart enough to not trust Maleficent entirely and did question things. In KH2 and CoM he had learned his lesson and was also repentant for his crimes. He thought out a lot of things and always seemed to show up just as he was needed because he was more thoughtful and intuitive than Sora.

Another thing is even if it hurt him in KH, he has a willpower that is very notable. When on the right path and faced with adversity he does not just fall and give up. He won a very fight for his right to exist and live and defeated a foe that was -inside him- and threatening to take him out, and he fought him -alone- where as Sora and his friends did together in KH. King Mickey did help Riku a lot and elevate his mood but Riku was often left to his own devices and had to also face some Organization members that were trying to get the 'inner Darkness' to come out which was 'Ansem'. His willpower also helped him to not collapse in despair in KH2 when he did a lot of things for Kairi and Sora whether they knew it was him or not. He had changed a lot since KH and his efforts to help his friends were not so he could be cared for, but genuinely pure so that they could go home, whether he would or not. He gave his all and that to me is truly remarkable because most people would give up well before he did.

I would say that both Riku and Sora were benevolent and compassionate to the plight of others and were about pretty equal in that. Riku is a more serious person than Sora and I do like Sora too, but Riku just seemed more mature even if he did have flaws. Sora has flaws too which his friends, fortunately, cover up well enough, including Riku. Riku's flaws were exposed and he was on his own against a lot of animosity. Sora lucked out because of having good people about him and also having the rather oblivious heart he did at times. I don't want to say outright that Sora doesn't also have his talents, because he certainly does and together, Riku and Sora both cover for each other's flaws very well. It's no wonder to me that they are best friends. I also think both will go the distance for any friends they have or people they don't even know, which is cool. So, no, I'm not hating on Sora, but just think I like Riku's personality more as I can relate to it better and think that he really should have gotten some better 'game time' than the elusive stuff he's gotten except in CoM. Of course, I feel the same way about Kairi too...would be nice to see she's just not always going to get kidnapped all the time.

Sora = Hitler? What an allegation. That may be just what is being implied here though. Bad Sora! Bad! And Riku was turned down for what exact reason? Makes me wonder.

There just isn't a speech anymore I care to give on the topic. It's so redundant and washed thin anymore. It would seem to me people would get it that Sora, whether he listened to Yen Sid or not, HAD to stop the Organization's plans or the people who were -not- Nobodies would have perished. Tons already had by the Org controlling and dropping Heartless at places, corrupting people and dragons etc. I can feel as sorry as the next person for the Nobodies' plights, but if someone is doing something and you know it is wrong, even if -you- won't be killed...wouldn't you try to stop that person or group somehow? Also, let's not forget that they were -using- Sora to get the Hearts for their grand design, kidnapped Kairi, were telling him Riku was a goner and were trashing worlds where he was trying to save them. But oh yes..the Org was -good- and they were innocent of what they were doing because they have no Hearts.

Having compassion for the foes you must stop is one thing, but really, if the Org had succeeded, no one knows for sure if Xemnas would have even kept his word, let alone what about all the Hearts of countless people? What the Org did was like Live Organ Donation really. An example...you are going to lose your liver so you go and kill someone so you can have their healthy liver. Is that right? Should someone stop you? I would hope most people would say yes. Therefore, Sora, while not the most brilliant person in the worlds, did what he had to do. Maybe -some- of the Organization could have been saved but they would have had to denounce that order so that they could be helped. It's fine to feel sympathy for the Org. I know I do. But where is it that it says the Organization were just innocent and devoid of crimes, let alone countless murders?

Okay, Arcantress, you got your wish. =:)

Sucks you are going through that. I do not like the basic mentality of some RPGs and other places as MMOs where you go and people just go about spouting 'n00b' all the time. It does get wearing. There are other rpgs for Kingdom Hearts out there if that one doesn't work out for you and also if you can stick it out, after a couple weeks that usually tends to die down because people get used to you.

It would be cool if it was Riku so you could fight him the first time and see all he actually had to him and seeing Roxas maxed out then. In a way I hope it is him even though Riku has to lose. It would make it a good story line where you as Roxas actually get to do that and know what actually transpired the first time and why Riku did lose. To me, it's kind of like why having the fight in KH2:FM between Sora and Roxas was a cool concept, because it let you actually do the fighting and see how good a combatant Roxas was. Also, I think it'd be the fight where Roxas actually won. The second one, whether Roxas whine screamed he was winning or not, Riku seemed to be the winner easily, having knocked him unconscious even before he used the Heartless form. So, I'd hope they'd just show the battle and let you fight and win the first one, and then after show what Roxas does in closing before Riku goes after him again.

If it does happen to be someone else, I would have no idea who at this time unless it was the 14th member, but I'm not sure that would happen either. Perhaps a new enemy that got in the way of the Organization, if it's not Riku.

I don't see why Riku isn't cool enough to be on there and the thread is closed heh, but oh well. I really don't like the Nintendo characters that much other than Zelda ones and the only other person I'd bother picking off that list was Dante.

Wow, you can even IMDB the kid's name and it comes up. Also, I have to ask WHO lets their machine get THAT much dust on it? I mean, really...that much dust would take YEARS to happen without purposeful intent. I've seen less dust in old houses that were for sale for 5 years or so.

Fox really should be sued for that or make a public apology to Sony for that blunder and vicious lie. NO gaming system has EVER collected that much dust and the guy says he owned it for almost a year now. This is exactly one of the top reasons that Fox News is unreliable as a news source. They certainly went out of their way to back this claim and I'd think it was folly and skewed regardless of the console used. I really hope they have to do something in regards to this as an apology because that's just ridiculous and it's slander, as well as corrupt media coverage. Even if people hate the PS3, this was very uncalled for.

I'm nearly placing a serious bet here that 'Master Xehanort' shows up in KH3. Whether he's going to be the absolute final boss....or we find another 'Xehanort' or something odd like that remains to be seen. Sistah Xehanort...now that would be a cool twist.

Actually, I really don't see any members in the Org as having Hearts at all other than Roxas who probably had a 'part' of one. I do, however, think they all were reacting in ways that would show how they would act in the 'past' with their former whole selves. It's basically off of instinct and 'memory' of having a Heart. Demyx's fear was cast aside immediately after Sora said 'you have no Heart' and well, it's true. He 'did' have a Heart but no longer possessed one. The instinct to react out of fear was just that, something he did prior and felt, but now was just a behavioral deal.

Larxene and others laughing, pouting etc are all displays of how they would show the emotions if they still had them. This includes Axel, who even Xemnas said he wants his heart badly and would do whatever to get it, or something along those lines.

Also, Axel was 'cruel' in CoM but no more dastardly truly than Vexen and Marluxia who were out to betray the Org and try gambles to take over. They both were dangers to the rest of the Org and trying to use Sora and Riku to get over on one another and the others who were not sided with them. Axel did nothing more than -survive- just as some of the others like Zexion and Lexaeus at that point were trying to do but failed. The Org members could not even trust themselves and because others were two-faced, Axel became more of a wild card and did what he did to get out of the mess and also he -was- still working for the higher Organization ideal, whereas others forsook that in personal gain. One other point to make on Axel...he was 'ordered' to kill Vexen and then went after Marluxia to 'kill the traitor'. Since both were traitors, he went after them. Also Vexen was going to narc about Roxas so he had to go. Axel in KH2 was told to go after Roxas and if he did not come back to -kill him-. When he fought Roxas the second time he found he could not kill him so he revolted against the Organization after feigning his death. Realizing he could not go back because he might be 'turned into a Dusk' is the reason Axel was a 'traitor' to the Org.

Really, the only one I can equate a Heart at all to is Roxas. I think all of the Organization were 'empathic' in a way and Saix said some key points that they know what it was like to have a heart and know how to hurt it. Axel was perhaps the most 'empathic' earnestly out of all of the Organization, which is also probably why he was able to be so intellectual at points and move around to get away with what he did. He wanted a Heart very badly and so he tried to act as though he -did- have a heart still, to not forget what it was like. Roxas, I think, was felt to be different and so Axel liked him. He was the only one Axel could trust was 'authentic' in feelings and motives, even if he disagreed with Roxas at times. So in other words, he was the only person acting 'real' and not faking things as the other Nobodies, including Axel could do easily. Axel to me was definitely a candidate for someone who should 'earn' a Heart, but I don't see he actually had one there.

Roxas however, is the only one who did not just 'react' as other Nobodies did to each thing and was not as overdramatic or under dramatic when expressing how he 'felt'. He frowned when alone, he was angry and furious at points such as facing Riku or when he busted up the computer. Those were genuine feelings. So it is he who I think had the Heart, or at least a partial one.

I feel kind of popular. *blink*

Hmm, what would I change about the first game... Of course most of my suggestions here probably would have killed the plot of the game...or ended it 30 hours sooner but hey, why not?

    1. In Traverse Town, Riku shows up and is talking to Sora. Donald opens his mouth and refuses to let Riku go along with them, which prompts Riku to believe Maleficent's words that he has been replaced. That rock in KH2 that clobbered Goofy would be perfect to hit Donald on the head before he got out a peep. Then Riku and Sora could have teamed together sooner and all, since Sora was so wishy washy. Another thing might be for Sora to actually tell Donald to 'stfu' because his friend would be more important than being 'nice' to the flatulent duck.

    2. Sora would be banned from saying the word 'Huh?' and instead replace it with "What do you mean?" or "Please explain?"

    3. Riku would not inherit a half of a hula skirt for his Dark Mode suit and instead get some cool looking trench coat with a ton of zippers and stuff.

    4. 'Ansem' would have a sock stuffed in his mouth by one of those white mushroom Heartless every time he was going to say "One who knows nothing can understand nothing".

I'm sure I'll think of more later.

To clarify it for you easier...
Ansem = DiZ - Darkness in Zero. He was the -real- Ansem the Wise.

Xehanort - his apprentice. He also opened the door to his world and was the creator of the Emblem Heartless (all the ones with the symbols on them). He stole Ansem's name to continue the projects he was doing and write the fake Ansem reports which threw people off.

Xemnas - the Nobody of Xehanort. Though his name switched around spells 'Ansem', he was really the apprentice of the real Ansem.

Hope that helps. It gets even more confusing now that we also see a "Master Xehanort" in Birth by Sleep that is a totally different guy.

    Stress...

Bowling is another good idea. It can be 'destructive' as you go hitting the pins and is a good stress reliever. Or baseball/softball or golf (even though I loathe golf) can be good for that too. Punching a pillow is another good suggestion and hurts no one. Maybe even just jumping around and going "AaaaaaaaaaaaH!!" can help too if the stress is that bad. Great suggestions!
