    .....

Whether you believe in an afterlife or not, sadly death is one of those things we must come to accept. If you don't believe in anything that comes after, as I don't, I just tend to say 'I don't know what happens' after, so it's really a matter of living the life you have to the most. Experience and enjoy the time you have and try to not focus on what comes later. There's so much to do and see and feel, both good and bad, and it makes us wiser and more complete.

I think at some point everyone goes through the 'what happens when I die' phase and well, some people can take a leap of faith and say it's what a religion says. Others can't. Either way though, life here and now is what matters and if there is anything after, we'll know when that time comes. We are often afraid of the unanswerable question and sometimes toss in things to give us answers but it doesn't have to be that way. Death is not such a big deal really. I can say I've been 'near' death and after that I didn't fear it anymore. It was painful but then it was peaceful and beyond pain etc. I don't think it should be feared but accepted, and meanwhile we should try to live happy, healthy and do our best to enjoy our time in life. I hope this at all alleviates your worries, but in each of us, it comes to some quality soul searching to get over that fear of what is unknown. It does happen though, sooner or later, where even death becomes not such a serious topic that will make people pause from living.

Yeah, that thing looks like it went through hell and is only 10 or 11 months old when he sent it in. It's like a -dust- magnet if it were at all true. I can see why they said the technicians couldn't clean that and it could be hazardous. I wouldn't want to do it either. Of course it's not going to work in that state. I really do want to see what Fox and Sony are going to do about this. I hope Fox loses some money or at least has to air some sort of apology.

Of course it is not -wrong- that they wanted to get their hearts back. It is the method in which they employed. As I commented elsewhere...if you see someone walking down the street and you happen to need a liver to continue living, do you go and kill that person for their good liver? It's like live organ transplants in a twisted way and I would hope even if we can sympathize with the plight and condition the Nobodies are in, that this is very wrong. Their solution to their problem was manipulating Heartless, turning 'other' people to Darkness, probably making 'more' Nobodies, using Sora and Roxas to draw out more Heartless for their plan, manipulating Sora and Riku, kidnapping Kairi etc. They were not -good- guys here. They also certainly weren't going to change their minds about what they were doing. They were ridiculing Sora all the way through the whole story so how can he even suggest, until he had the chance with Xemnas at the end, which of course Xemnas wasn't going for?

And yes, I agree Sora isn't the most observant being, but he's a 15 year old kid in KH2 and a 14 year old one in KH and he has a big responsibility and just in the end wanted to go home and be with his friends, and yet he stopped to help several people along the way and never really once complained about his responsibility. He was happy for others that they found what they were looking for and went out of his way for people. He made mistakes, granted, but then again, I think that's the coolness of the character too. He isn't perfect or infallible but he does his best. That to me is what makes him more decent than many super heroes etc. His flaws are open to see, as are Riku's and other peoples' and they also get used by the villains. However, their strength of will perseveres and helps them fix things as they can, and they also -want- to fix their mistakes.

I suppose I think all of them were strong in their ways. I also am pretty sure Axel could have taken Marluxia had Sora not shown up, even if it was a Replica of him. Marluxia did really nothing to Axel. I think Xemnas was the strongest of them all but all of them had very strong abilities and elements so I don't know how to rate the others as far as being weaker than one another. I can see ways each could take out the other in the right circumstances. I do think often Zexion gets put as the weakest of them and I would disagree with that.

Hmm, maybe he made it but I just think to myself of this closet of Org cloaks being raided somewhere in the castle! I don't know why and can't prove it but DiZ and Mickey digging around for stuff seemed cool as an idea and they did want to track the org so I always assumed they were authentic actual Org cloaks.

Yeah, good stuff. Doing it to any of the villain's or heroes' lines works. Heartless = Pantless. Heart = pants. i.e. "Kairi's lost her pants?"

I can see why some people believe the individual threads for requests are cluttering up things but at the same time, it is a good thing to have the option open to make requests in such a way. I suppose the other reason people might have wanted others to stop posting the requests was to not lose the shops to the 2nd page etc but really if a shop keeps current, I don't see the problem. The threads are easy for anyone who wants to make the person a sig to find and once the sig is done, the threads can be closed and things move on. So yeah, I would vote for keeping individual thread options open.

That's fine and admirable. I do think your best chance to see things get better so you can once again get actively involved is to chat it out with one of the people over there who is responsible and can help sort it out so he/she knows where you stand. I do hope this ends soon and you guys can get things back to normal. Good luck on it. I'm crossing my fingers.

I thought the first movie was decent. I've never bothered with the following movies since a lot of people, even some little kids, said they were bad.

Well, how about you delete your post if you want to and talk to me in PM or just modify the post to tone it down some and I can also re-edit my quote so that it's not so bad. There are very few people on so that might help. I do think if they ask for it to be kept toned down, there's a chance that one might listen to you and DjC if you can PM one of them. That might help resolve a few things. No one would want to get rid of good people and also I doubt even if you were banned it would be that long; same as DjC. As long as you guys aren't being malicious the staff doesn't seem to be either.

I believe the robes are magical and resize to fit the person. Considering that King Mickey had one...and also Riku had one, grew a good 4 to 6 inches over the year and also changed into a form that was another few inches over that...I'd say that the robe matches the wearer and fits automatically or there'd be some problems in that scene where he changes form and yet the robe still is fine on him.

This is the -worst- Batman movie -EVER-. It made me so mad that I wasted money on going to a theater and watching it. George Clooney was the worst choice for Bruce Wayne and I'd rather have had old Adam West up there reprising the role. He was not a good Batman. He's campy, smiling and acting like...just not at all serious. I could not stand it.

I think the only highlights of this movie was that some of the villains were the actual better actors here and tried to carry a failing script. Arnie didn't do badly to me even though the script made me want to claw my eyes out; nor did Uma Thurman. Bane however...wtf. Bane in the comics ...actually no, I won't describe how out of character these characters were anymore. I'd be writing a novel.

I don't know what Hollywood was thinking...this movie had a high cost to produce it and should have been another hit in the Batman franchise but no...it raped my soul and I don't think I'll ever forgive it. I am just glad that the following Batman was back to how Batman was meant to act and be and think the next Batman will be pretty cool as well. I think 'Batman and Robin' should be the movie swept under the rug and not recalled when they do gift box sets of the Batman movies. Yes...I like that suggestion. *crawls under a rock now*

    ..wow..
I just thought it was because it was about Spartans and everyone knows that even though many were gay and/or bi-sexual, they kicked ultimate ***. Spartans are still legendary warriors that even if people don't know much about them, we all know they were superb warriors and very determined. I so watched it for the Spartans. I don't really think I cared about the 'race' scenario at all or the liberal or conservative fronts since it's a totally different time and place. The movie was not even historically all valid, but you know...it still kicked butt.

Hmm, seems that's a rough position to be in. =:/

I do see why they ended up banning the person for what happened and I don't usually go over to the code vault, but have you tried by any chance talking to one of the mods over there about the situation? Why would you be banned for bringing it up? It is a stressful situation and it obviously bothered you enough to post it here, and that's what this place is for. I would hope no one would do such a thing as it discourages the purpose of this thread in the first place.

Now that things are semi-over with, if I were you, I'd express your interest in that area saying you do still want to help out and see if someone bites and things can get back to normal in there. Sometimes it just takes one person to flub everything up for a time but if people really want that area to work in, they have to stick to it while weeding out the idjits, if you get what I mean. Good luck, and I hope things get easier for you. If you need more help with this, feel free to post again.

    Hey guys

I sleep with my cat that somehow slips under my blankets and claws my abdomen up. A teddy bear sounds safer. I could also use it as a weapon to get the cat away. It doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

Ah, yes, good ol Sean Connery. He rux. Just about any movie with Sean Connery in it has to be good...at least for his part in it. I can mention a couple I didn't like, but at least he was cool in them.

There are two sides to this, as with all things. Some people are very thin skinned and you could simply disagree with them and to them you suddenly hate them and are making fun of them. On the other hand, there are some people I have seen occasionally be pretty rude to others in here. I'm not sure I see them earning 'rep' for it though. Sometimes we may get a laugh at someone else's expense but most of the time I don't think anyone is intentionally trying to actually harm someone else, and instead they are bashing the actual topic posted. If they are...there are things to do.

I don't think you should have been de-repped for bringing up the point that people sometimes are mocked or topics that people bring up get smashed into the ground. However, I do think that is the important message in itself. If people feel harassed, there -is- that de-repping capacity and well, use it. You don't deserve that kind of treatment and that is what the de-rep is for. Rep is for people that are nice, you feel are good people to talk to, and you get some intellectual convo out of or they make you laugh. If someone makes you feel like crap, ridicules you, or is just being downright stupid and irritating to you, well...you know what to do.

Another thing I'd add for suggestion is that if someone is genuinely having troubles and wants a bit nicer of a hand with it, in Intelligent Discussion there are some threads such as 'Help with Life' where some of us are at and the atmosphere is a bit more serious. I see quite a few topics in here that sometimes have to do with things of emotional burden and of course, because this is the Spam Zone, it gets treated with some hard remarks now and then. Just a suggestion for people that feel their posts get mocked for serious personal things.

To get back on topic, the mods and admin are pretty responsive so if you feel harassed, PM one of them and I am sure they would be glad to look into the matter. I think this post would have been more constructive and received less 'bashing' in itself if it had addressed issues from all angles so we all fit in and it wasn't just saying that people are being jerks and you won't stand for net bashing. We only have so much power to do anything on the internet. This is case in point.

Actually, your idea of DiZ digitizing it could be equally true in the end. Who does know if DiZ just left the castle or what, or if some machine was in the castle to do such. =:)
