Even though Axel did not have 'emotions' or his Heart, it can be presumed that Axel, as others in the Org, did remember his past and knew what it was like to have a Heart once. Axel was very empathic and reactive to that around him and that is why I think he attached to Roxas as a friend while disliking the others for being 'fake' about what they were feeling or doing. He even asks Roxas if he feels he has a Heart and he did also make the comment that when around Sora or Roxas he felt as though he had a Heart again. I believe Axel knew he didn't have one but even Xemnas and others said that Axel was seeking his Heart. In earnest, Axel may have been the closest Nobody (that definitely had no Heart) to finding another way to get his Heart back other than Xemnas's big plan. However, I'm pretty certain at this point he had no Heart; just he still had the motivation to not forget how he was when he did have one.

Speaking of shoveling ...man, I REALLY need to get my arse to the store and buy a shovel before they totally disappear. I have this stupid little one that bending over breaks my back to even try shoveling out things. I don't hate the snow though, because here in NY it can be scenic. The shoveling deal though is not one of the more pleasant things I can think of doing though. =:/
Oh, man...dinner was so great. I didn't eat a thing and made pies to take with me over to my parents' place...and then we did the usual. I helped make a bit more there and then we all sat down and ate and ate and ate. And watched the lame football game that was just not very competitive. I am actually proud of myself that I managed to stay awake to drive back home and am still waiting to take the nap I ceremoniously do. I know I will crash soon. To all those who got to pig out as much as I did, hooray! To those who didn't, I have some spare food in my fridge.

Different levels of violence have always happened wherever humans group up. Someone doesn't like something because it can be pointedly be decided it's too different or an oddball thing about a person and things start. However, it is noticeably worse in some ways now only because of the 'weapons' people use to do their violence with. Name calling and pushing around hurts, sure. But now we have morons with knives and guns trying to use them or threaten students with and well, just as wars were once fought with swords and now with bombs and multi auto-round rifles etc...well school violence has also changed. It sucks but that's how it seems to work out and the only way to improve it is tighter monitoring of things, children not listening to 'outside' advice to use such methods, and some stupid adults to stop getting kids into hating others because of differences. There are way too many prejudiced and simple minded people out there passing onto kids stupid thoughts and it really sucks.
For Xaldin, what I did was make sure to not get trapped in any corners, because the one I did get trapped in nearly killed me. Make sure to have leaf bracer on if you have it. When he gets on the dragon, just move around in a direction away from him running about and avoiding things coming at you or if you feel brave, try to do Reflect. I just had Sora hop around like a loon for a while running in the opposite direction of Xaldin and going to the sides when I could. Next, make sure to watch for the Learn Reaction Command and I put in any Combo Pluses I had and get him there. You can get him straight off in the battle with a combo if you are quick. I never used Forms because of the Anti-Form notoriously showing up whenever I seemed to fight the Org people and you don't need it really but Valor Form probably could aid you or Master if you get in a pinch. Remember though, the key to beating him is when he's on the dragon, try to avoid him and move away but do not let yourself get stuck in a corner or it spells your doom. As he spins the lances around himself stay back but once it slows down move in and you can either combo him or get the Reaction Command. If you die, make sure to put in you will 'never give up' as your option and King Mickey will come to help you. He cannot kill the boss but Pearl works well on Xaldin and you can get some good V-swings on him. Don't waste too much time as Mickey though, and make sure to instead, when Mickey starts losing some hp, to go and heal Sora up so you can get back in the game. Mickey can't kill the boss, so other than just wanting to play around and drop the boss a bit to move him out of the way of Mickey and Sora, I'd just get to healing Sora. Then do Reflect and go at Xaldin again following the steps above. Good luck!
I see what you are saying. I just wanted to point out that really it seemed too far to me. I can tell you there are points where in chat etc I do make fun of fangirls and fanboys that are so into the idea of blahxblah because yes, it does get tiring, especially when they take it serious. I just felt that there were worse threads than this one which actually -asked- people's opinions. The author of the thread also has been responsive. The difference between this one and some of the others I've seen was she actually asked opinions and didn't say 'it is this way because I say so'. I actually kind of found that refreshing, but I can see why others would not. No worries.
I agree with these and also it would have been nice to play the game without the cards. Riku also could have used more sleights and abilities. Seeing the 3d version of the game cheered me up because it looks so much more vivid and fresh so I don't have so many issues about CoM except one last thing... Namine should have apologized to Riku Replica for messing him up. Sora was kind and all but Riku Replica saved her life even after she could have destroyed him and she just stood there watching Sora be all cool. I really think I would have liked her character more had she at least just apologized for what she did. After all, Riku Replica did and saved her.
