I think that the letter Pluto had was just used to make people follow him around and so they did in KH and CoM. The letter in the bottle, I am almost sure Mickey probably wrote that to give to the three as an upcoming thing he would need them to help with so it's a precursor to KH3. It kind of gives away that there's going to be another game with the 3 later on and as was mentioned, Nomura was planning on showing them packing to get ready to go but took that part out as it seems the message that they would be leaving soon again any way was hinted at strong enough with them just coming together and reading the letter.
I would imagine he got them sometime in the last month or two since he seemed to sprout up and his old clothing would have been way too small. Riku grew around 5 inches with his growth spurt so he probably picked them up at Radiant Gardens or somewhere in the real Twilight Town perhaps, since they both have more 'modern' clothing. Maybe as others said, DiZ gave him some, but Riku seems pretty independent and would probably just try to find something that would work as a solution himself.
Not sure why people say "Aeris" is the original name. It isn't. Aerith was the Japanese name and the only reason it was switched to Aeris in the English version was because Sephiroth's name also ended in th in the English version while in the Japanese it was Sephirosu. So they did not want them to connect that well in the English version. Saying that, I kind of do like Aerith more because I don't agree that Japanese names all the time need to be transferred to something more 'English' sounding to make us understand them. Also, Aeris reminds me of Ares, as someone else pointed out above. Aerith is original and smooth to say, and so to me it just sounds better. Some people seem to think it sounds like there's a lisp issue, but I think it sounds pretty.
It never actually states that Ansem was her father. It seems more likely by Xehanort's Ansem Reports that perhaps Kairi and her grandmother were brought to the castle and let to stay there by Ansem the Wise from perhaps somewhere else. Ansem also never claimed to be a 'King' as far as I can remember, but more just as a sage leader sort. He may even have been a regent watching over Radiant Gardens until Kairi would become old enough to become the Queen, but we don't know if she originally was from there. I would think if Xehanort had known of her position as a Princess assuredly, or being the daughter of Ansem, he would have commented more solidly on it. As it stands, he just said he 'thinks' she's a Princess and sent her out to find the Keyblade Wielder, feeling she'd be attracted to it by the power of her Heart and the purity of the Keyblade itself. He took a gamble on it and was right, that she was a Princess. So all in all it doesn't seem Xehanort knew much but being a trusted apprentice of Ansem and in his life, healed by him and all, one would think he would know it was Ansem's child. Therefore, I doubt she was in fact tied to him by blood, since Ansem also never really states anything about it in his own real reports. It does make me wonder though why Ansem never went into detailing anything about Kairi at all though, and more just about Namine being of connection to her. Hopefully, part of KH3 is going to answer more about Kairi's past since I'm betting it will be pretty important.
I would disagree with you. Freedom of Speech is constantly abused. People can say anything, sure, but sometimes they have to comprehend they are responsible for their words and there may sometimes be repercussions. People often misunderstand that and think they can just say whatever and not be accounted to it. Of course, on the same issue, I don't like the fanatical zealots and fundies that try to regulate our speech and use the 'It's for the Children' clause either. A 'way' of speech is not the same as the meaning of the words spoken and I don't think people should be so lame over that.
Her hair isn't as bright as Aurora's (Sleeping Beauty) and Alice's. Its almost more a sandy blonde color so they probably did make it a bit darker for the stained glass since it wouldn't stand out otherwise. That would be my guess as to it. I did notice it too and thought it was too dark but not that it still didn't resemble her enough.
I wouldn't say Ariel since she was duped for her own personal interests and well, made a decision based on obsession. Though she is a 'Princess' so if that is part of the requirements, I would guess she'd fit. However, Alice was never a Princess but was always known to be an 'innocent girl' so I am not sure if being a Princess is really required to being a PoH. Wendy is one that is debatable because all in all she did help take care of the boys and was nice and kind, not doing anything for any selfish reasons really. If being a Princess wasn't necessary, I do wonder why she wasn't considered a PoH. I would say Yuna might have been one but at the same time she did things too that were sometimes based off skewed views and a lame religion. Aerith, we could say was one because she let her Heart lead her and she was kind of naive in her viewpoints, being much more connected to voices of the dead than those alive, and she was compassionate. Aerith's mom, Ifalna, was also pretty pure. I debate on whether Mulan would be one or not. She did try to save her father's honor, help out a lot and do great things, even if at one point she was masquerading as a boy. Her heart was always in the right place so I'd have said she was one. I do hope they introduce more Disney worlds because there are a ton of them they could show and if 7 PoHs is all there is, that's kind of weird considering that I'd have thought for each world there might be one. Ellonwy from Prydain would be someone, even if talkative that could be a PoH. What bugs me in a way is that it's all 'Princesses' of Heart and I could see some 'Princes' of Heart in Disney being possible too, who were what I'd call relatively pure of Heart. i.e. Peter Pan, Tarzan, Mowgli, William Turner maybe and Simba should have been too and not such a wuss in the Pride Lands. etc that seemed to have an innocence to them and generally wanted to help others out and remain light of Heart. I'm sure there are others too.
Actually, I did too at first but if Ansem/Diz's reports are accurate he says that she was created when Kairi's Heart was released from Sora. So unless that's wrong, and it's just his theory, she was created when Sora used the Dark Keyblade on himself. I also thought she might have been created when her Heart was left behind at the Secret Cave but guess not. I can see why though. Since it takes 'Darkness' to create a Nobody, even without that Darkness in herself, the Dark Keyblade had it, and also Sora had Darkness in himself though he's mostly a pretty good kid.
Yeah, it does make you wonder about their history in KH since it does divert strongly from the FF7 storyline, but perhaps we'll see more into it in the future. Right now he just seems to represent that Cloud chose Darkness over Light for a period of time and has regretted it and been consumed by his guilt and all. Sephiroth's exact role isn't obviously the exact same as in FF7, but we do see more of it in AC. None of the FF characters really seem to have their direct histories from any FF game and instead are cameos that belong to certain KH worlds.
In the end, as long as people can't get along even one-on-one, there is going to be some sort of aggression and it can grow to the size of a full scale war. I think it is through the acts of the extreme that do acts of war and hate which makes others say 'woah, I might not have liked those people in particular, but I certainly wouldn't go killing the regular civvies' etc. It helps us to see how bad people and situations can be and in the end helps promote more efforts to peace afterwards because we also take acknowledgment of the good people in it all too, and those who were just in a really bad situation and were used. So, along with everyone else, I sort of agree there will be acts of hostility on these levels and in the end, it does help us to value comprehending diversity better in the aftermath. If that's the only good thing about war, it is. Extremists who do the wars and initiate things so far hopefully get rid of some of their numbers too so that those of us who do want peace can savor it.
I think what is posted first is an 'extreme' concept of what 'could' happen with this law if we did not pay attention and don't see it as the 'likely' thing to be probable. I do not like to be overly paranoid when it comes to government issues, even though I do know and see some of the corruption that can be viewed. I'd say that the warning sign is there to pay attention so that we do not become as lame as what happened in Germany during WW II. We can't let ourselves continue to be separated by stupid issues of ethnicity and all, even though it happens. Also, there are terrorist cells in the U.S. and we should all be aware of that. It's not even just the "evil Muslims" that are terrorists here. Any group that spreads hate and fear as a doctrine and has harmed people is. We have terrorist Christian activists too, and Mormon ones, as well as other groups that do things to harm others and spread terror. If we broke it down, we could even say some certain gangs that are corrupting kids, such as the Crips and the Bloods are terrorists in their ways. The KKK has done acts based on color of skin and hides behind Christianity. We do have groups that are out there hiding in our society that could easily enough be labeled as harmful to society and well...most are. They prevent others from simply living a normal life and getting fulfillment. I can't say these harmful groups that even have military grade weapons at times aren't needed to be stopped. So, yes, humans, as someone mentioned above, do corrupt things and take them and bend them to their purpose, but somehow I don't see the regular citizens of the U.S., who grew up as a nation that had to fight for its freedom in the first place, sitting there like Germany did in WW II and just letting someone tell us that today they are going after religious people that pass out Bibles on the street to people, or that carry signs of the end times etc. It's a law for those that truly are trying to destroy things to get what they want and bend us all to their whims. We'll see how it works out and it is a law to 'watch' but I don't think it's one to get extremely worried about unless someone tries to abuse it. It is our jobs as citizens of this country to watch it and ensure what it is actually 'meant' to do and then do something when it is abused.
Soul Eater wasn't the blade that was used and was not a pseudo weapon. The Dark Keyblade is a 'pseudo' Keyblade that was created from the Hearts of the 6 Princesses. When Sora used it to unlock his own Heart (as Riku/Ansem had done moments before to release Maleficent's rage and Darkness) he had the true body. The Keyblade was destroyed as the 6 Princesses' Hearts that had been forged into crafting the Keyblade went back to their respective bodies. Kairi's Heart was returned to her own body and Sora's body was taken by Darkness and he became a Shadow Heartless. It's also at this point that Namine (according to DiZ's true Ansem Reports) and Roxas were created.
Ansem the Wise never experimented on "Heartless". He was studying the Heart of people to study the components of it and emotion and also Even was very interested in the subject he chose to do so, which was Xehanort. Ansem did this to research the Heart but also because he wanted to help restore Xehanort's lost memories and thought they might be lurking within his Heart somewhere. He never knew of the Heartless. That was all Xehanort's doing. He lured the Heartless there and experimented, found the door, opened it, sent Kairi out to find the Keyblade wielder after listening to Ansem and Mickey talk, etc. He's also the one who made the machine to make synthetic Heartless which he had them all identified with his Heartless symbol trademark, and these became Emblem Heartless. Yes, Ansem became closed minded and prejudiced against Nobodies because he was seriously betrayed by all of the top ones. He was not what I'd say is a super strong mental person but I give him the credit due that he survived wandering Darkness for 9 years after he had to leave his home that was destroyed by Xehanort and his unleashing droves of Heartless, and also Maleficent showed up after Xehanort left. I do agree where people say above that Riku had the stronger heart out of the two, because even while totally emersed and even at one point, fighting for his body or booted out of it, he still fought on, and even though he messed up, it was his natural 'small' flaws as a person that were used against him to do so. He had living antagonists that were pushing him over the edge using these flaws and he was just a 15 year old that was very confused and wanted his friends back. The Riku in CoM and KH2 greatly matured and did things to set things right. Ansem/DiZ did use people such as Riku, which is why Riku took off, because he'd obviously never want to be used for 'Dark' purposes again, to include revenge. However, it was Riku's obstinacy and strong will in refusing to harm Namine, his talking to Axel and Namine, and his devotion to Sora to help him, while having compassion for Roxas too that probably hit DiZ the most. He even kept objects that DiZ was insistent Riku should destroy so that Sora and Roxas would be alright. However, I point out that while DiZ was doing these things, in the end he did turn things around. DiZ/Ansem knew that as things were, he probably had sought vengeance for so long that it had corrupted his mind. Doing what he did to Kingdom Hearts was a good thing. Sure, it made more 'Heartless' but at the same time it was reverting them back to being Heartless and if killed again, they would go on to the "Real" Kingdom Hearts instead of the pseudo one that Xemnas had crafted for his purposes. The Hearts of many people would go on to where they should be and thus be back in the cycle of things. So, I really can't agree with people who say he did a wrong deed there. In the end, it is probably what made things better. He also sacrificed himself to do it and cancel the Org's plans. He was a man that had a broken Heart himself from what happened and though for much of CoM and KH2 he was a jaded, cynical man, in the end he showed his true feelings of remorse and sorrow that things had turned out so bad and that he had fallen so hard. He did what was rational there instead of letting himself fall deeper in the pits of Darkness. I would not say he's as strong as Riku, who miraculously turned his situation around but he did save Sora and he did help Riku to fight Xehanort's Heartless, and he did free the Hearts that were imprisoned in the fake Kingdom Hearts, giving his life. This act also freed Riku of his imprisonment to the form he was in. He was a great man at one time, leading his world, fell hard, and in the end made up for as much as he could. It doesn't make him the best of men, but he doesn't earn my animosity either. I felt sorry for the guy because even though he should have perhaps had more insight, hind sight is 20/20 and he lost everything including his own name and identity to a student he only sought to help.
When I used Forms, I'd have to say that I preferred Final Form the best because you could do nearly everything you did in former Forms and it was collected into one mega-kikazz Form. Everything was more powerful.
Yeah, pretty much even though he didn't die for real, it was a surprise when he got hit with a rock and everyone was just like 'wtf'. I was surprised that it happened and it did catch me off guard. I was upset and surprised about it, just like...how could they kill Goofy...and who's going to replace him now??? When I was going and fighting of course, it hit me that they'd never kill off Goofy, so it toned down but it was still good fun venting at all those Heartless. lol
