Unfortunately, Axel there was acting under orders from the Org. They did want to have Roxas back or to have him eliminated. He was threatened with being turned to a Dusk if he did not comply and it would seem they were riding him hard over it. Axel's 'job' in the Org was to get rid of traitorous members and he was a sort of Assassin for them. Marluxia probably at one time had a similar duty to the Org, hence his title 'Graceful Assassin'. Also, Axel fought the first time versus Roxas as a way to get him to remember. The second time he fought him, he -had- to and it was mostly a 'staged' thing on the part of Axel because he could not bring himself to kill Roxas but a failure in combat at least might not result in him becoming a Dusk. So Axel was out to help himself and also Roxas there. Roxas was easily combative so getting him to fight was pretty easy. Axel however, knew that Roxas did not want to come back so he staged things. Taking Roxas back was more against Roxas's will than anything.
If Marluxia had taken Sora, he had plans to try to get Xemnas 'While he was asleep'. He wanted to take him down and get the power of the Organization behind him. In a way, I see that it just would have interfered dramatically in the Org's plans because Marluxia was a schemer but there was no way the other Org members would have followed him. I think if Marluxia had won by taking Sora into his fold, he still had to contend with Riku who had a separate war that Marluxia did not even pay any real attention to and it was going on roughly at the same time as Sora's mess. King Mickey and DiZ were also there. Looking at events as they unfolded, I can see some things changing. 1. Since Axel freed Namine, she still would have helped Riku against Zexion. He would have gone through and done the things he did and probably, since King Mickey rendezvoused with Riku and DiZ on the first floor they would have proceeded up the levels as they had to any way. 2. Marluxia did have Namine upstairs but had to go fight Sora so in this, he had to release her. She'd have fled down the stairs to Riku and King Mickey because there's no way she was going to stand against Marluxia. If she tried to play the hero, well, Marluxia would have killed her. Her uses were finished. She'd already also proven she had no capability in battle whatsoever and he'd have had a good taunt at her before slaying her in cold blood (or cold Darkness). 3. He would probably have ran away since that is what Marluxia always did and if he was to use Sora, since Namine would doubtfully cooperate, he'd have to keep images up and go then trying to beat Axel to informing people on what Marluxia schemed. He did not confront anyone direct if he didn't have to and hid behind Namine, used Replicas of himself etc. He would have tried to take Sora and do his plan which was to take out Xemnas. It is either that or he'd be dumb and be scheming still by the time Riku and the other 2 or 3 arrived to take him on. If Riku had taken him on with King Mickey and DiZ, Marluxia was toast. Of course, Marluxia would first hide behind Sora, which would force Riku, King Mickey and DiZ to fight Sora but they'd win that too, knocking some sense into him or KO'ing him to get him treated. 4. If Marluxia somehow fled because he'd lose Sora in all that and if Namine were still alive, he'd get his memories back and all was lost, he'd be on the run. Axel still had gotten away and would have informed the other Org members about Marluxia's duplicity. Marluxia would be far more wanted than Axel was in KH2. They also would have prevented him from going to the other castle in TWTNW. His mission would be a failure and sooner or later either the Org would have offed him or sent Sora after him as a frame up in KH2. Since there never was a real time before that it looked like Sora was going to 'fall' to Marluxia, it seems this (the ending) is the only point he could have 'won' Sora and I just can't see him leaving with Riku and King Mickey who could easily double team about anyone. The only thing that would be bad is if Namine had not been around because Marluxia killed her after 'standing in his way'. Then, Sora would not have gotten his memories back but also, he might have turned against Marluxia himself if he were informed of Namine's death since she was his replacement Kairi and he was fighting for her. This could have had dramatic effects on KH2 and changed what Riku had to do as well. Ultimately though, Marluxia would have died sooner or later because it was a stupid plan. He was nowhere near strong enough to contend with the other members of the Org like Xigbar, Xaldin and Saix, let alone he couldn't really stand up to Axel and hid behind a girl. He had power but not enough and he never would have gotten enough since foes were right below to stop him and Axel had left and probably already the other Org members would have known of Marluxia's treachery before he could step out of the Castle with Sora. As for the issue of if Sora fought against the Org, what would happen? I think Sora would have not had his 'Heart' in it and thus lost. Marluxia's plan would have been reported and the Org may have killed Sora or let Sora's friends deal with him. Sora's fights and prowess dramatically depend on him having his Heart into what he does and I am sure if Riku did not get Sora at the Castle Oblivion, he'd have stopped at nothing to get his friend back and save him and DiZ (though his motives would be different) would have helped as would King Mickey. Also, DiZ may have said information about Roxas and well, the events from KH2 may have been shifted but Sora and Roxas may have joined one another again to fight, and Riku, having the memory of what transpired would try to help him, or both of them if they did not merge back. In the end, I don't see Marluxia living at all no matter what happens, even if KH2 were dramatically turned around. He was potent but he was also a backstabber sort of Assassin who when confronted directly turned into a pansy having to use other things to face things. It wouldn't help him against the other Org members who also could call up things and Axel would have said something or taken him out as a matter of 'completing his mission' since it was so important to him. It wouldn't help him against the combined efforts of King Mickey and Riku.
The monotheistic religions are all not tolerant of gays well at all. Gays have been stoned to death, drawn and quartered etc and well, just outright murdered because of spots in the bible that do condemn gays and also because the people are bigoted and disgusted by gays There are more references to gays and any sexual deviation from Christianity views being destroyed. Let's not forget Sodom and Gomorrah which were towns both utterly destroyed for having gay 'deviant' behavior. These people that looked for any references to gays being something bad in the Bible did not look hard enough. I could waste more time if you want more quotes. It's not to call these teachers or parents liars, but the quotes are in there amidst a lot of other things. Despite this, however, there are gays who fight to be Christian because in this day and age, no one is supposed to go out and kill gays outright for their 'sin' and Christians have taken lesser measures to dealing with something that is against the belief. The Bible is wrought full of many reasons to murder and kill but if people did such now, it would really be something that would be likely to fuel a war. All three monotheistic faiths and the new ones added in such as Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons all still reference to Homosexuality is a sin. Though now, it is tolerated more because everyone in some way sins to Christians, it is debatable that it is ok. Serious fundamentals though still despise it and condemn teenagers etc. Gays have committed suicide due to parents saying they cannot accept the child's behavior and it is abhorrent. I think people who are gay should be able to get married and have the rights of opposite sex marriages. The reasons to me are not religious, but instead logical. When two gay people live together and cannot get married, if something happens to the partner such as death, injury etc, the other person has trouble being able to get rights to benefits for him/herself or to aiding the other person. Sometimes partners have been denied the rights to hospital visits because they aren't considered 'immediate family'. Also, they cannot gain access to pay for bills while the partner is away. They may be forced to buy a home off the market rather than it being passed to them as would happen in a marriage without a Will. If something happens where one has a child, the other may have trouble getting that child to school or may even have the child taken from the partner while the other is away in the hospital because he/she is not considered 'family'. There are other things as well but those stick out as reasons to me that are important as these sorts of court cases and complaints always pop up. There is a definite difference in law to 'married' people and to just those shacking up together and it is a terrible inconvenience. Back to the Bible again though. There are things in it that contest to people being gay considering it immoral but at the same time, there are many Christians out there who have learned to not be caring so much what others do in their bedrooms. The views have changed dramatically, but gay marriage is something that is going to need to be fought within each state. There are now a few states out there that fight for gay marriages but many try to say that 'Civil Unions' have enough power to grant gays what they want. The point people have of bringing up the Bible though is getting redundant in a way because the Bible, as said in many topics, is up for interpretation and people take what they will from it. It's only the real fundamental folks that will keep on hating and pointing out the quotes to use against it. (Or people like me that read the thing page for page 20 some times and use it to show it exists but it shouldn't be an excuse). I am not gay but see the reasons why people who are deserve the same rights as others. If irresponsible people can get married who are straight and not ready for such commitment, then I do not see why gays should not. Marriage is taken so lightly these days any way. It aids people in their lives at home while they are together and for many it's an aids of bettering at home circumstances more than it is a 'religious' thing. It means the two people are devoted to one another and should have access to each other's things, well being and being fully able to be there for the big decisions that matter. For those that want it for the religious experience and all, that's fine, but it should be up to each couple how they endear it. The at home improvements for people married just is something that cannot be denied forever. No one would bother getting married if it wasn't a way to say 'we are together and one now and my home is your home, our children are ours, our medical lives are our business, our personal lives are our business, and we aren't out cheating on one another, and we have stability to be Happy.' There's commitment to marriage. That's all it needs to mean: Commitment and the Rights that go with it.
Wow...sorry to hear you are leaving Rosey. You will be missed and it was fun to chat with you over the forums. You were a great mod and did help out a lot of people. I hope you make some changes in the world as you seek to and perhaps you'll drop in from time to time. Good luck!

Most people, though of varying ages, are always keeping here PG rated and like it that way. Sometimes parents are a bit paranoid and well maybe if you show them this place some they won't think it for here. Of course, there are other forums and such that aren't so good to hang on. If they can make a DBZ movie, a KH movie in CGI might work out. RE movies came out pretty good. I don't know though. It would really depend on the director to make it cool. Just don't make it Uwe Boll.
Terra from FF VI would be interesting to add. Maybe Cecil or Kain would be cool to put in as well. I'd like to see some characters from other earlier games though Setzer was not really done out very well to me. Kuja or Zidane would have been nice to see too.
Uh, no. Sora forgave Namine from messing with his head in CoM. He also thanked her later as the Journal said to do. He also forgave Axel and probably did tell Kairi later what Axel said, I'd assume. Sora is pretty genuine and when he forgives, he forgives. Roxas wasn't involved in that. He had his own reasons to be frustrated and forgive people. Axel didn't wrong Roxas any way.
This was funny. Most people would click and laugh at it and all but sadly there are some morons who would take it serious. Too many people like the 'easy way' to get what they want and enough want to go to some cloud city castle thing in the sky. There have been scams for years even by churches to get peoples' money donated to them in promises that they will get to go to Heaven. An internet scam to do so is just another reminder of it. This is the best line to me. Because you definitely know that if you die, you can come back and say 'Hey, I went to Hell!!!" and get a full refund with no questions asked. Just bring the pitchfork.
Oh, jeez...the Scientology retaliation message is more creepy than the Anonymous one. Religion is free...Transcendence is free...then why does it cost so much to find the "truth" of Scientology out? Hello there? Roight. Any way, in a sense I wish Anonymous and Scientology would just burn each other out and both go away because this is getting plain idiotic. I am curious as to what 4chan and some other sites have to even do with Anon. They charge some things that I don't think are accurate. Even if members of Anon were using the sites, it would probably be through proxies, so good luck tracing it. The FBI etc aren't going to help Scientologists anymore than they help others like businesses and people with credit card scams by people in Nigeria with people planted throughout the U.S. I shall end my rant now before I go on and on. Scientology answering this call was just lame and well, I don't know why, but it ticks me off.
As annoying as Scientology is, who's to say all religions don't carry with them fraud? Anon attacking Scientology is one thing but whose to say it stops there? In the end, if people don't want Scientology around, don't join or support it and it will go the way of the dinosaur. These sorts of attacks on religions usually make 'martyrs' out of people and projects and make the religions stronger.
I think Riku's memory was untainted because he was 'complete' and he did end up at the Castle Oblivion as well. Sora, Donald and Goofy were all memory wiped and altered by Namine. However, Riku was not at all. As for Kairi, the reason I believe is because of Kairi being connected to Namine. When Sora lost his memories, it did affect others and Namine replaced herself in Kairi's steed. So because of Namine's powers, Kairi also probably forgot Sora but when Sora got his memories back, hers returned as well. Riku was the only one present at the Castle and also he was not split in two as Sora and Kairi were, so that's basically how I'd explain it. Others who knew Sora were affected because they were not at the Castle Oblivion and when Sora's memories were fading, theirs of him faded too. That part is eerie and yeah, the only thing I can think of is that Namine either had that kind of power with the Castle and how it was or there's something we might find out in Coded or 358/2 Days which might explain this little plot hole. Riku was just fortunate enough I guess to have been pulled there to the Castle Oblivion. DiZ obviously remembered things too as did King Mickey.
I think the site has a lot of freedom and works fine as it is. About the only thing I agree with you on is perhaps adding some java client chat or connect to an irc chat through jIRC of some sort for live chat as we are on the forum. It would be easier this way to perhaps meet others and stuff than having some chat place outside the forums we have to use an alternate client with. However, all in all, chat rooms etc have been brought up, and I do not see the board as restraining truly. Otherwise, I wouldn't come here.
Math was created by humans. It is the way in which we can calculate things that are around us and make it easier to comprehend, expanding things. We did not create the items, environment, etc that we derived math from but we did create our number systems (1-10, binary, hexidecimal etc), equations to better understand how things work (e=mc2), and of course how to depict how many of objects there are we are speaking of. The objects, items, people, gravity, etc existed prior but math is a human thing to enable us to calculate things better, make things based on these equations and formulas and to work with in a tangible form when we cannot always 'see' what we are working with.
Stem cell research is fine in my book. The fetuses and cells taken are already deceased as others have mentioned. Abortions happen and we are also learning new ways to experiment which don't even consist of having to use fetuses so much. These cells can save lives and have the potential to allow us to do all sorts of things with organs, skin cures, and neurological diseases like MS and Parkinson's Disease. There are many people inflicted with spinal damage or neurological conditions that live lives of agony and if that could be stopped these people could have basically normal lives. We may find a ton of cures for things and considering the cells are in states where they haven't even been assigned 'roles' yet, there is no real feeling involved in this of a sentient being.
I was the oldest (well with a twin who had cerebral palsy so the twin wasn't going to get hit) and yeah, I can say that I was blamed for a ton of things my younger siblings did. Sometimes, in order for them to not get hit I just took the downfall. I so agree it sucks. However, there are so many kids nowadays that use that threat of 'calling 911' for a spanking that it's pathetic. Most of the time the kids deserve the smack on the ass or to be grounded or whatever and they are spoiled. This is why DCFS cannot actually catch the people that ARE abusing their kids and save the ones who are hurt for real. However, in some cases, it's not just being a brat and well, the child should get help. I just see it though too many times that kids who get 'spanked' think they have a right to waste people's times when often they did something rotten to earn the spanking in the first place. Since I do not know in the case of the person above, but it was said she/he was spanked a lot for trivial things, maybe the warning did help. Running away never worked though heh. My mom would always just lock me out of the house, let me in hours later and then get me back or I was grounded for several weeks. I do think kids who are stubborn though do need a good swat if being firm with them in other ways fails. In the end, hitting shouldn't be the FIRST option. It should always be the last and whether some people like it or not, some kids are naturally stubborn or learn it from other kids that are spoiled, or even relatives etc. It is important that a lesson be learned, especially if the child or others could be harmed or even killed. I don't think it's abuse if it's the last resort to a kid that wants to cross his/her arms, roll eyes at you, and act like he/she owns you and your home. Those are the kids really that 'talking' to does not work and won't unless something is done.

It really does make me think the name 'Chaser' must go with the Keybladers and not with the 'enemies' as some people have tried to say. He metal bends the Keyblade it appears.
The story is -not- taken from Sora's point of view. He hardly -has- a point of view and you can deduce your own things and all. Where did the Organization do anything GOOD? When were they not taking advantage of people's hearts, tormenting others, and doing their agendas? This was not merely in Sora's POV. We follow Sora around but he really was not perceptive and -we- the people playing the game caught more than he did. Sora wasn't a -villain- to the Nobodies by any means. He was a tool to be used and the Nobodies had planned from the beginning to use a Keyblade wielder. Losing Roxas meant having to rely on Sora and now the Keyblade wielder was not a member of their ranks anymore so boo hoo, life is harder for the Org. Sora NEVER once said he was on a killing spree to get rid of the Org. He merely wanted to stop them and make the worlds safe so he could return home and also find his friend Riku, who the Org kept derailing him from. Also, again, if the Nobodies never tried to ask Sora for help at all for their predicament. They wanted domination and control; not to get help in any other way than their own scheme they had set forth. Saix was -never- a nice guy. He is by nature a sadistic manipulator. There is never a scene that shows him as otherwise. He was smooth, calculating and new precisely what to say and even comments on that fact. He was a superb actor. There is never a point where he is on -Sora's side'- at all. Sora, to Saix, as well as other beings with Hearts, were lesser to him. As for what Axel planned, it seems pretty easy. He takes Kairi along and makes Sora turn to Darkness. Roxas is freed and Kairi can restore Sora and they can go off on their way while Roxas is back as a Nobody and can do his thing. It isn't that hard to see his plan. I will, however, back out too because it is not so fair for one person to be ganged up on with the POV. It seems many people feel Sora is not justified and cast votes but they do not explain why.
This is more the complete reason. Marluxia did not know about Riku being there for some time so Namine never did get ordered to mess with Riku. Marluxia pretty much had Namine lure Sora there to the Castle Oblivion after she was somewhat doing it any way and his focus was there. Riku appeared after Sora had gotten to the Castle Oblivion and in the basement.
As others said, KH3 is way down the road. We have filler games meanwhile which are BBS, 358/2 Days and Coded. BBS will be on PSP, 358/2 Days is on the DS and the first game which should be released and Coded is a cell phone game that is debatable if people outside of Japan will see it or not. KH3 probably will come out in a couple/few years since Nomura said Sora is 'taking a break' for these other games but did not ever say there will not be a follow up to KH2. It has also been stated that in Coded, some information pertaining to the next Boss is included so I'm pretty sure, unless something bad happens, that KH3 is planned but not in the works right now, as Nomura has other projects he is doing. I wouldn't expect we'll hear anything about KH3 at least until after this year or into next year when the other 3 games are out and finished.
