Yeah, in FF VII their eyes just have a brilliant glow to them. Though Sephiroth's and the 3 aspects (Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo) all had eyes that would change to cat slit eyes. I'm pretty certain that was just them as Zack in Crisis Core and others looked like they just had brilliant glowing eyes because of being in the SOLDIER program. It is a rather common thing for Nomura to do in plots. The yellow eyes was a change from the normal 'green' eyes villains tend to have in anime etc. I do note that often though, his heroes have blue eyes as well heh.
I liked the ending how it was, though I would say it would have been nice had any of the Nobodies survived (like Axel and/or Demyx as posted above). I really did like the ending though and I've seldom been disappointed by SE game endings; especially FF ones.
Nope, he says it as a challenge because he's sick of being challenged and messed with by them. He wants it out in the open. He's not saying to 'kill them'. He wants to confront them and get the issue out in the open. Anyone he got in a fight with planned on doing him in. He was frustrated and angry and why not? They -did- try to change one of his friends to a Heartless. They did steal from the Gods of Olympus, they were scheming things and he was being messed with and lied to. Again, show where he says he wants to do them in. There isn't a point. A challenge to make people stop messing with him isn't the same. Yeah, but it's so true! Saix was in total support, absolutely of what Xemnas was doing. He was perhaps more his right hand man than Xigbar who had the #2 spot. Saix seems to pretty well toy with Sora. He was, as I've said many times, one of the worst members of the Org, at least when it comes to being a real enemy anyone would have had no choice but to stop. I have not thought they all 'deserved' to die. That would be pretty cold. I have said I empathize with their situation and all and thought the Org were pretty cool; each in their own way. However, as I've said, they never offered another sort of solution from stealing Hearts and making a pseudo Kingdom Hearts to use Hearts not their own to 'save' themselves. None called out for help. None tried to make a change. He NEVER attacked anyone first or out of 'honorable' combat. The battle music starts and if you let the bosses hit you, they will. Technically it is always mutually agreed to combat. Sora can never just go up and hit someone with the Keyblade. Again, a 15 year old taunting someone older and the older person has 'no emotional reasons' to strike at him. So why is he? He could have just ran away. He could have dark portaled. Heck, Saix sure dark portaled away from Riku. Riku was going to go after him and Saix sure deserved a beat down but Riku, who we know could get really angry, did not pursue him but with the most minimal of coaxing. Yes, I agree Demyx had the most potential to be turned IF Xemnas was knocked of BUT no one was providing any help towards such a goal, and Sora had to go through what he did. I'm confused why so many people feel sorry for the Organization but not for a 15 year old boy that was forced to grow up quick, has been running around facing the fact that friends can die, people can die, he has to try to save worlds, find his friends and hope he can someday go home. He hasn't seen his family in a year, has had his mind messed with, has been used by evil etc. The Org made themselves victims by their own refusal to change their stances or even attempt to work with anyone outside of themselves. As I said, were circumstances different, some of the Org members may have been salvageable but they just weren't different. It doesn't make Sora a murderer. He -had- to do it. That is all that makes him justified. Sora is a kind hearted kid for the most part. Really, had any not been fake with him or trying to kill his friends, he wouldn't have had the stance he did, despite anyone else's information. It sure does. lol
Yeah but Axel would have always double-crossed them, so in the end the plan was doomed any way. There's no way Axel would have sided with Marluxia and Larxene because he knew their plan was folly any way. He was loyal to the Org to a certain level until Roxas left so Axel would never have worked for Marluxia but to do exactly what he did.
Again, ICSP, show one time Sora says "You must die because you are in the Organization". The only character that was really questionable is Demyx and again, Sora called him out, but Demyx had the power to leave instead of turning and giving into some 'brat's words' to go on an all out attempt to kill Sora too. There is no point where Sora says they have to -die-. He wanted to stop them because what they were doing was wrong. Show some lines instead of backing up people like Saix, Xaldin and Xemnas. Xigbar and Luxord didn't seem so bad to me but they were doing the wrong thing and both were prepared to go down fighting too. There is NOTHING showing Sora was going out of his way to -kill- anyone. He wanted the Org to stop, they NEVER asked him for help or anyone else for that matter, and they did not want a new thing. Now, had there been a way to take out Xemnas early on, who had this nefarious scheme going...well maybe Xigbar and Luxord might have changed things around. Saix though keeps getting defended and he's the 2nd worst out of all of them. He was the one who made Sora's mood worse when dealing with the Org. He also had his head up Xemnas's butt so far I'm surprised Xemnas could breathe. So, perhaps if Sora had some -help- from the guys in black, some sign they weren't all willing to do the dirty work etc of Xemnas and some hope that he didn't have to -kill- them, he wouldn't have done so. I like the Org and do think a few could have been 'redeemed' to anti-hero status of some sort sometime, but there just never presented a case of the opportunity except for Axel. Sora did what he -had- to do and until I see something that shows he didn't -have- to do it, this goes in circles. He's also again, a 15 year old kid taking on all of these adults with a super scheme that had been planned possibly while he was very young. It's not Sora who had to do things different though. It's the members of the Organization that had to do something. Of course the problem with Org members doing 'something'. Well look at how hard a time Axel had. He didn't want to go after his friend, he's threatened to be a Dusk. Xaldin backs up Xemnas on this. Axel leaves the Org to try to get Roxas back, Saix is pursuing him etc and using the scene to confuse Sora all the more. Then there's Xemnas, who they all have to have a healthy respect (fear if they had Hearts) of. Leaving the Org for some who might have been 'willing to', was not an option. So, yes, it is a sad thing they have an oppressive dictator as a leader and people who will be his 'yes men' to their deaths but seriously, why does Sora get crap for that? He even tried to talk down Xemnas. Really, it's not Sora's fault they are in the predicament they are in and no one -says a thing- to him. He's doing what he needs to. The only ones who tried to 'break away' were Marluxia and Larxene (well, other than Roxas), and Marluxia was not out to do any better than Xemnas and probably would have done worse had he succeeded in any effort..though I think he was doomed after a certain point in CoM near the end of Sora's story, regardless of what he'd do. So yeah, not all of the Org may have -deserved- to die, but they -had- to die in order to stop Xemnas and finally get to him. None helped Sora but Axel to any level. Saix was -playing- with Sora so really I don't get why he keeps being said he's a -good guy-. He's one of the worst of all of the Nobodies. I really do not though see where any didn't -have- to die or didn't make a choice to make a stand themselves. Even Demyx decided to stay after a 15 year old taunted him. A 15 year old...I mean seriously...come on. If I, as an adult, go hit some 15 year old for telling me to F off etc, I'm going to jail. So, yeah, I'm not saying they -all- deserved to die here, but they HAD to die because none presented any other options. They all stood in Sora's way and that's just how it goes.
Are these males or females in your classes that pick on you and do you have friends? If you can give us a bit more to work with here of painting us some scenes, we can try to aid you more.
77 Years...someone just give the store 50 cents or whatever. wow. It does seem the guy was doing other petty crimes though and was caught and let off with misdemeanors which are slaps on the wrist, before he decided to do this, but yeah, this seems very extreme. We have rapists and killers that get out before 20 years. I really do think we need to start analyzing the law a bit more sometimes. I see why the DA is pushing for some kind of punishment here, because it's obvious the guy is stealing and getting caught, but at the same time, 77 years ...I'd say if he's got a few charges that were dropped etc, maybe a few months in jail would teach him to stop. Just wow though.
The yellow eyes is a sign of losing your Heart or falling to Darkness. DiZ had orangish eyes to me. Xehanort before turning Heartless had brown eyes. Xigbar does have amber colored eyes though. Also Xehanort's Heartless and I think Saix did too. Master Xehanort in the past also had yellow eyes and Terra's eyes at the end of the trailer do seem to definitely take on that hue as well. I don't think it's a Nobody thing really. Nomura did say that Xigbar had something of an important past that would be explained and I -think- he means to explain it in BBS. Axel had green, Larxene had green (or blue), Vexen had green, etc. I think the 'yellow' is a sign you are powerful in Darkness and well, darkening your own Heart to use it. I could be wrong but that's the symbolism I've been getting from it along with the fact the Heartless all have yellow/amber orb eyes. As for why the Organization XIII are more human appearing than the other Nobodies; this was explained at the beginning of KH2 with Yen Sid. Apparently, those with the strongest Hearts and/or spirits were able to retain what 'mostly' they looked like by memories and such and enabled them to appear as they did and also gain some power out of it. All of the Org members had strong wills. I'll see if I can find the quotes later pertaining to it but I'm pretty sure that's how it was said. The lesser Nobodies basically just did not have the powerful wills of the Org to retain themselves more than just to relate to other Nobodies they could. Xemnas also had some ability to change Org members to Dusks as Axel was threatened with, so it could be he also kept the lesser Nobodies in that state, though it doesn't seem that likely.
In KH is where both Kairi and Sora had their Hearts temporarily out of circulation. Sora - as explained above, lost his Heart when he took the Dark Keyblade and gave into Darkness willingly to free the Hearts of the Princesses, to include Kairi's which was within his own Heart. He was transformed into a Shadow Heartless and was changed back by Kairi not too long after he caught up to her. Roxas was formed when Sora became a Heartless for that small time. However, since he retained his memories, even though he stated they were starting to fade away, Roxas did not gain his memories as a Nobody. Kairi - Lost her Heart early in the game but it was kept safe and held by Sora. When Sora used the Dark Keyblade, Darkness was used to free her Heart from Sora's (unlocking his Heart essentially) and her Heart was returned to her body. Since she had no Darkness, being a Princess of Heart, her Heart returned to her body but at the same time, Namine was formed. In KH2, Sora does have Anti-Form, which to me seemed to be a path he 'could' head down to become a being consumed by Darkness if he abused power etc. All of the Forms sort of represented what Sora would gain and learn and could be as he grew; just that he was getting the power early. Valor for strength, Wisdom for knowledge and magic, Master for the combination of these and Final form was the complete growth. Anti-Form was the form technically you wouldn't -want- to get because it's a prelude that Sora could fall to Darkness. Once he hits Final Form though, he could use it and never turn to Anti-Form so it showed to me that he could rise above the Darkness in his Heart. Of course, this is speculation but that's what I theorize it meant. Sora's Heart was returned to him in KH1 when Kairi held him and used her connection to him to restore it. However, it being gone for that time as a Shadow was long enough to create Roxas. Also, since he does have Darkness in his Heart, he turned into a Shadow. It obviously wasn't that much Darkness since he became the weakest of Heartless really. Kairi lost her Heart and it was restored to her at the end of KH when Sora used the Dark Keyblade, so Darkness was used to form Namine, even though moments later, Kairi awakened with her Heart. So neither Sora or Kairi were missing their Hearts for very long.
Yeah, I think we all are nearly unanimous on the point of whether he got away with some of it or not, he was going down. I'm pretty sure regardless of how it turned out, he was toast because there were just too many things against him. With only really Larxene on his side at all in earnest I don't see his success as positive. I think if push came to shove, Larxene isn't -loyal- as much as she's a survivor. I think she'd probably turncoat on Marluxia when the situation came to it. In the end, he'd started it up and would have ended up probably on his own too.
As much as I thought Axel was cool, as others said, it would ruin the powerful effect of his death scene. Also, I don't think Nobodies can go back to their 'Somebodies' if their Somebodies are Heartless or killed Heartless. That would pretty well make no sense. If they could have been restored they would have tried that. If Nomura planned it in such a way, I hope he explains it better because that makes no sense at all and totally makes Xemnas's and the Org's plight for nada. I really do in a way hope to see other things besides the Org now. We had the Dark Council, then the Organization and I hope the new enemies will be interesting too and keep in progression instead of stagnating at one group. If Axel did come back, I'd assume he cheated death a 3rd or 4th time, whatever number it is.
It was interesting someone brought up the cutting off of the head incident. It was to show that guillotines in France were cruel punishment and not more humane than hanging. A scientist told his student since he was condemned to be guillotined, to run up and grab the basket and count how many times his eyes blinked. It was to prove that even though the head was severed, people did not die instantaneously. He blinked for 1 minute afterwards. Good point to bring up. As for those who had 'near death experiences' or 'died' and were brought back, there are varying things. I can say in my experience that things just didn't hurt anymore. I was beyond pain, and I saw white and speckles and stuff and well, it was kind of peaceful compared to what had gotten me to that state. I really can say I don't fear it. Some people say they see -visions- and stuff but I'm inclined to feel that it was -before- they were 'dead' or at that state. The mind is a funny thing and it still doesn't offer much proof of anything after really. People also can be pretty delusional with medications and stuff or drugs and 'see' things without being near death, so I don't really think this is really changes much.
Being 'feminine' isn't a crime for either males or females in my opinion. The problem with Kairi is she is a Mary Sue with little impact on the story but for some extravagant events like changing Sora from a Heartless back to normal or for helping bring Sora and Riku home from Darkness. She has a very weak developed character that just finally started growing right at the end of KH2 when she is with Riku and then joins back up with Sora and says she's not going to be left behind anymore. Before that, she had no character real development beyond looking like jail bait, giggling, getting kidnapped etc. There's nothing wrong with being feminine, but there is something wrong with the fact that KH is supposed to be centered around 3 characters: Sora, Kairi and Riku. Noting that the story is supposed to be around the three, you expect to see more promise in all three. Even though Riku is more behind scenes, he still does a lot more than Kairi. I do pin some of the wussiness of Kairi though on Sora and well, the view that a girl didn't need to do anything offensive before the time was right which was KH2 when she went a-bashing those Heartless with her flower power Keyblade. Her 'confidence' is also amusing. I laughed when Saix said "If I had a Heart, this is where I would die laughing" because it was so true. Namine and Kairi were the most not physical beings in the game. Even AERITH did not run like a priss and yet you see literally Kairi and Namine 'prancing' down the stairs. It was so awful. Also...maybe it's just me, but Kairi's clothes in KH2 were rather bordering on ****tastic. You can even in a scene on the Altar of Naught see her underwear if you pan the view right. It's aquamarine colored. What is the problem with Kairi wearing something that wouldn't make her walk like a stick so her undies don't show? Her leap off the balcony there also should have had her land flat with how she dove off...but yeah, she's showing more she can be competent physically in some ways but really...the way she has been designed makes her a Mary Sue and that includes her choice of wardrobe. This isn't to say I dislike Kairi really, but it certainly cannot be pinned on Disney that she is the way she is. I also agree with Zandyne that it is Nomura's doing and not Disney's doing as to why Kairi is the way she is. She fits the motif of girls in FF worlds to a T. Nomura has been known to cast girls this way. It's also stereotypical to never see a male Healer in FF because that's apparently a female's field. Females are white mages. Terra and Celes were the only two females I can recall that actually carried -swords-, while Tifa is the first martial artist female. Just about every other female tends to be wussified somehow. I think Terra, Celes and Tifa were seen clearly as females despite having prowess with weapons that are 'man' weapons according to FF and they are and probably always will be the 3 females I think are my favorites. They aren't trying to be 'men' despite what they can do. Kairi fits the motif of the traditional FF female with healing capacity, Holy Light power etc and being 'pure of heart', but she hits like a little girl and runs like one too. She's starting to now show some backbone but really for a -main- character, she's the least developed. We do need to see more of how she turns out and well, it will be nice to see her take charge and become more of a competent fighter because then Sora can back off of her and let her do things. She was denied going to help Riku because Sora felt it was no place for her in KH1. Now that she put her foot down, she's going to have to prove herself. She has the -power- to but physically she wanes. Also, Sora and Riku are in no way gay. The fanfics are sometimes funny but really, neither ever showed a sign they were gay at all and seemed to both like girls. Anyone can tell Sora had a crush on Kairi and vice-versa. When the dance with Belle and Beast was going on, it's certainly not Riku Sora wishes was there. When he nearly gets choked up, it's Kairi he's thinking about and when he blushes it's Kairi he's embarrassed and shy over. Sora only hung on Riku's arm (after Kairi told him to stop Riku as well) to prevent Riku from going away. After all, he had been told Riku was gone to Darkness, he'd searched for him for a year and he wanted all 3 of them to go back home. He was emotional and any true friend would have been. I didn't see him leap in Riku's arms and give him a hug. There is no yaoi but in fanboi/fangurl's dreams. It's very easy to see Sora and Kairi have crushes on one another and although I think Riku liked Kairi, he didn't feel as strongly about it as Sora and was willing to tease Sora to do what Sora wanted to any way, which was tell her how much he cared. Riku did feel that Sora and Kairi would be happier together and that obviously gets missed too. Why would Riku tease about the Paopu Fruit if he was gay? He had no grand conspiracy to be malicious or get Sora to like him. Riku even brushed off Sora when he was grabbing at his face to make sure he was real. I absolutely do not see anything above friendship that those two boys have for one another. They've been as close as brothers. I swear anymore, if two guys are good friends or two girls, people auto-assume they must be gay and if a guy and a girl are friends, they must be hitting it off. It's like no one can just have friends and people just assume there has to be some kind of sex thing involved. Excuse my rant please, but man...two people, regardless of gender anymore can't just be good friends! When Sora blushes, shows some sign of affection for Riku that is open in a loving sexual manner at all, then I'd buy it. I just don't see it at all.
What he said. Her 'protector' would be gone and she'd flee. She didn't before that because she had no real hope of getting out. Marluxia and Larxene really worked her over on self-confidence. This is also why it took her so long to figure Axel really -was- letting her run for it.
I think a minimal increase would be a good idea but having it be too much would not be right as it would slow down people on dial up. Also, the 'size' of the avatar seems fine to me as it is. It gets annoying when people make avatars too big, but some of us would like to spruce up our avatars but cannot because of the limit.
Sure, but I don't see Namine at all working with Marluxia after the point. If Sora fell, she only had to dark portal down to get Riku and King Mickey etc. Without fighting for Namine, what did he have? If Namine had stayed, I don't see her working for Marluxia. She did take a stand at the end, even if it was amusing because she is absolutely worthless physically.
I prefer to view the world with a scientific mind. One of those things is to say that simply with the evidence that is there, I do not yet -know- what happens when I die. I've been pretty close to death a few times and can say that I don't fear it though, even if it is the end. -Dying- hurts but death doesn't seem to. Having no way to know for certain what comes next, many people decide to look into religions, and I did too; just about every one, much to the dismay of my very Protestant Christian mother. However, the -absolute- answers of religions just aren't getting it for me and where some find truths, I find holes or deceptions. This is my POV and I of course don't speak for anyone other than me with it. I am content to rely on the 'personal' fact that life at this time is more important to live and whatever happens, I want to be the best person I can while alive because that is more what I feel I should concern myself with. I don't require a religion to promise me eternal afterlife to be a decent human being, and it can be a minor annoyance that many religious people cannot think of how this is even possible. We've been raised to think that humans can't function without religion to be decent and benevolent people and it is a hard pressed issue that is always brought up by fundamentalists. They are always trying to say that those who do not believe in a religion are more likely to do heinous things but the facts do not stand up. There are those without conscience and damaged frontal lobes, serial killers and spree killers that are religious too and even kill for those reasons or make other people's lives miserable. I also don't consider that saying there just may be no afterlife is depressing. In fact, I think it frees me of the troubles that many friends experience and also saves me from getting anxiety about 'sins' instead of seeing errors I make, working to fix them and improving myself. It's more the responsible thing to be held accountable for actions and to work on stopping what I see is having a negative impact because I have a conscience and well, I don't have to answer to a higher force above law or what I feel inside, or to friends etc. There is no dilemma of thinking I am going to Hell. My problem was made on earth so I can fix it on earth. -Some- scientists say nothing happens after you die. Some are religious. Some are like me and just feel that we don't know what transpires as we haven't made enough progress in studies to know the answers. You say that religion gives people hope that life goes on after they die, but I would say for -some- people it does. For others, it gives nightmares and a constant life of working to ensure they don't go to the bad place because it's really painted out pretty hellacious. In some versions of Christianity even now, they try to say there's no such thing as Hell, because of seeing that it causes people to do dramatic things. There are just too many contradictions and interpretations and this is why so many people are Agnostic anymore; because they want to believe in a 'God' and afterlife but not the way this being is painted. So, you say that if you believe in 'science', you don't believe in an afterlife and therefore if there is, you might be in some trouble with whatever deity is there. Science, for one thing, is not a religion. There are scientists who are religious and believe in afterlife etc. Also, quite a few scientists are like me and do not choose to answer the question of what happens after you die because there is a lack of evidence to say directly that there 'is' no afterlife. We just do not believe in the concepts out there by mortal men. However, if a person does not believe in an afterlife and there is an afterlife, but the person was a good person in life, if a deity condemned them to an afterlife of suffering, that deity sucks. A thinking rational person who lives his/her life to doing things out of their own hearts instead of a promise of an afterlife would seem a better person to me than someone who did it for reward. If the person goes on to a positive place or is reincarnated or whatever, well at last the person has the answer and isn't being condemned because of a question that could not be answered. If a religious person dies and there is no afterlife, he or she had been lied to and wasted valuable time believing in something that is not true. That life therefore may have been a lie and the promise was broken. Fortunately for those living, none of these people can come back and tell us, can they? So we won't know and it keeps the question open. To me, this is the sadder more depressing thing. Especially with all the hard work some people do in hopes. To have that squashed is nearly -evil- in my mind. I suppose in conclusion, I do not support religions really at all, but hold nothing against people who follow them until they try to tell me that I am going to their 'bad' place because I have a different opinion. I think they are great for people who like answers and can't live with an open ended question such as 'What happens when I die?' but I can't live my life that way. If I cannot have the answer, I cannot and when I die, well, I'll have it. I do not like the idea of committing and wasting my life for the promise of an afterlife that is supposedly better than what I have. I'd prefer to do each deed in this life because I 'want to' rather than because I feel compelled to or I don't get a reward. Rewarding for good behavior is something you do with children for positive reinforcement. It doesn't work all the time in the adult world as we can do good deeds and yet still come out losing. I think my life has been much more wholesome since I gave up on worrying what happens when it's 'over' and decided to stay living in the moment, prepare for a future of what happens in a life time and well, stopped fearing going to Hell etc. People -can- be good without a reward at the end of the day, just as they can be decent without a reward promised at the end of life.
You give some people more credit than they deserve. There was a whole era of people attempting to buy their way into Heaven as pointed out above. You are smart and can see through it and most if not all of us laugh at this because it is a grand joke, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if some people who go for the easy way out thought it was true. There are a lot of dumb people out there. =:) We can be thankful we aren't amongst them and laugh at this. And the Hell one...hahaha.
Really though, there are rules against -anyone- showing off in public too much. Indecent exposure and too much in the form of Displays of Affection' are meant to cover anyone. Whether gay or straight, people should have some restraint in their public exhibitions and note that everyone doesn't need to know they are chewing on one another's tonsils all day long or groping one another etc. I don't really mind the kissing or hugging, but I think if people are going too far, there's a home for a reason. We who are straight though do need to get used to the ideas of two people of the same sex holding hands, hugging or kissing though. Whatever is legal for straights to show should be legal for gays so just work at desensitizing to it some and you'd be fine. It does take some effort but I've gotten used to it. The only times anymore things get to me is when you are trying to talk to someone and the other person is all over them and well, that gets annoying no matter who's promoting it. =:/ Some people like to show off in public more than others.
Really, I hope they never sell out and add other anime worlds into it. I think it would destroy the games rather than make them any better. Naruto is a great game/anime of its own but has no place in KH. Neither does Pokemon, Yugioh etc. There are plenty of FF games and Disney worlds to draw from and a lot more can be done with those two elements. It was founded on these two realms of possibility and I hope it stays that way. Other Disney worlds to be explored could be Prydain, Snow White's World, Cinderella's World, some of the Disney Grimm Fairy tale stuff, etc. Disney has made a ton of movies both live and animated. There's just no need.
