I looked up on the internet the claims of this because I wanted to see if it was a hoax or not and apparently it is a false thing and there is no such person as Captain Abraham Sands. This is an internet hoax started in the year 2000 and it has changed over the years to assign this false person to other places to include Buffalo, NY, Ontario Provincial Police Dept, and the man's name has also appeared as Sheriff Ken Irwin.

This was meant to play on the fears of people of the deadly disease AIDS and is not the only thing ever done to promote that fear and play a mean joke. I remember times when people would say pay phones had needles, movies, latrines, etc. Also, there is no listing ever of 17 people being victims to needles by pumping gas or an AIDS case of this situation at all in Florida. Jacksonville also does not apparently even have a police dept and only has a Sheriff department, which may be why later the hoax declares that and changed the man's name. The sheriff's department also reported several calls made from receiving this email to verify and of course, they could not and said it was false. There were some cases after of people leaving needles at places because of this hoax as a joke but no needles ever tested positive for AIDS.

There are quite a few sites listing this information so I'll post a couple links here and if you guys want to investigate more, just google 'Captain Abraham Sands'.

So no needs to worry about it. =:)

That's pretty sad and some people are naturally just cruel like that. It's not even a matter of discipline as it is a matter that parents aren't communicating to kids about benevolence because they aren't showing kids benevolence and understanding in so many places. Parents really do need to spend more time with their kids and show them positive things about themselves and other people instead of giving kids so much negativity. It does seem a lot of parents instead just pass on traits of racism and intolerance, religious intolerance, bias, gender and sexual preference hatred etc and these parents seriously need their heads evaluated as they make it hard for decent parents and children to do the right things.

I've seen things like that including when growing up this boy a couple years older than me went and put a jar of urine on this old woman's doorstep and did other nasty things to her to scare her. She lived across from me and I used to mow her lawn and she'd sit around outside and tell me of times when she was growing up. It seems so nostalgic to remember listening to the stuff about her during some very hard times. In the end I went and beat the crap out of boy to get him to leave her alone because the parents of the boy kept covering for him and nothing was being done. My dad was then told of it by his dad and knowing what the boy had done he said to call the cops if he wanted to and my dad would help the woman across the street and others terrorized by the boy to see them all in court so the whole thing was dropped. However, after, my dad talked to me and said that though he sided with my action because no cops would do anything etc, I had to make sure I didn't solve all problems that way. Some kids are nasty whether they have good parents or not but many do just seem to have parents that neglect them or are way too strict. It kind of makes me hope when I'm a parent I make sure to find a happy medium because I don't want to be either to strict or too lenient when it comes to this. Parenting is a responsibility and I do agree that quite a few people are doing it wrong by either not wanting the responsibility and feeling it's thrust on them or they are selfish and just care about themselves.

Since you are 17 and going to be 18 and may like girls a few years younger than you etc, that's not really pedophilia. You could date a girl that is 15 and it would be fine. However, due to laws in areas, you wouldn't want to have -sex- with the girl until she was legal to be safe. Now if you were 27 and wanted to date a 15 year old, that would be kind of different as that's not really in your age group.

I wouldn't consider 22 to 17 that bad either as 16 or 15 in most areas is legal to have a relationship. The thing is though that it depends also on the maturity of the two parties. Some 17 year olds are a lot more mature than others.

A pedophile really is a man or woman going after a school girl or boy because youthful girls or boys are really sexy to them. Since technically you are still a minor till 18 and even then you are still in the school scene and such, and not going for girls that are well, underdeveloped etc, that's not the case here. Just as I said and others have, watch the laws in your area because dating is one thing, but having sex with a minor is another. That can get you in some serious doo-doo.

I'm still not thinking that the Darkness is at all the factor because he wielded it just fine and has no problems or signs of pain tossing out darkness powers ever. Even when he's fighting Sora and tossing darkness at the Heartless, he's purely doing it all for play. Why would he do it if it hurt him? And he has a lot of other abilities than just Dark Firaga with no ill effects. Also he didn't seem at all injured by moving clouds etc apart and doing cool stuff in TWTNW. In the end, it has to be either a decoration or he wears it because his wrist bothers him some from when he was hit by Roxas. Riku pretty well wields Darkness like it's child's play.

It is old news and I think it's about Riku, not Roxas.

I can't believe they are making a third movie...and with a dinosaur in it. I suppose I will just ignore the fact that dinosaurs were extinct at this time. Maybe Doctor Who warped one there. I give up. I think this is one of those movies like Shrek 3, that I'd just wait till it came on TV to decide whether to watch it or not.

The movie trailer looks pretty good to me but yeah, I am prepared to be disappointed if it bombs. These movies sometimes give a good chuckle but it's hard to expect much more from them.

When I first saw that they were going to do a new Hulk movie for 2008 I was like...*luke scream* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
but watching the trailer, it seems that it is going to have nothing to do with the first movie released a few years ago so we are fortunate. It does not look bad really this time around and the plot seems much better and more thought out. I'm not sure it's a movie I'm all 'thrilled' to see after the last disaster, but I may go see it as it does look improved.

This movie really was one that made me think. It does make you wonder what you might do in the situations presented. McCauley Culkin and Elijah Wood were really good in this and it was kind of a creepy movie but also drew a lot of emotion into it. I was at points really mad during this and other times just feeling really sorry for Elijah's character. It certainly was a movie that should have had more attention than it received.

I am so glad to see ICSP and you agree that Daredevil sucked. I have no idea why some people liked this film. It really was one of the greatest disappointments for high budget film. I hope I never figure out what a couple of my friends see in this movie because many of my other friends and I want to but feel our brains will rot if we do.

I agree that the posts that are locked should not be removed for the exact reason stated. People express opinions and do give earnest answers etc. It would drop some people's posts which could affect some more than others. Also, if someone sees a locked post, they can read it through if it was pertaining to something they wanted to bring up so that if they want to open up a new topic on it, they know what already has gone on and some of the convo behind the topic, instead of just reading that the topic was denied prior. It can help them support a reason why the topic should even be brought up again.

These books were really great. I wish the Golden Compass movie wouldn't have softened up things and just gone right after the book it came from. No matter what, these books would offend when being made a movie so they might as well have put forth the true thing. These books are great if people just give them a chance.

This is about Riku having an injury...not about him having a Nobody, which he does not have a Nobody any way. Nomura, when asked directly about Riku having a Nobody said he does not have one.

And yes, ICSP pointed out with the video the point I was referring to that Riku may have been injured which would not have been a year ago etc. It was only probably a day or two at most before Roxas's part in KH2 in the fake Twilight Town.

Also, Riku has used both hands in fighting so he's ambidextrous, even if he does tend to use the right hand more. Riku just tends to fight with one hand -or- the other one whereas Sora will use both hands simultaneously often when he fights. The brace isn't that 'durable' sure, but if his wrist bothered him to put pressure on it, it might have helped. In the end, it is not a very good brace but it doesn't seem Riku was given much either. He's not like Sora, who seemed to be given things constantly including new clothing by friends here and there.

That's probably exactly how it went, ICSP. Just to have some sign of injury, be it that it wasn't that important. I could so see that as the logic.

That's the point. It -does- have plot progression. Riku went through a lot and the brace shows it since they obviously didn't want to go through breaking limbs on him to show his rough year.

It is not money that is the problem. It is the greed and selfishness of some people that is the issue. They take and take, wanting more than they have always. Money is simply a way of putting a 'price' on something. If people steal 'money' it is to obviously buy or get something else they want. Money itself is only as valuable as what you can get with it. In the end, it always comes down to the heart of a person and what lies in it. If a person is selfish and narcissistic, it's all about that person and nothing else is going to matter.

If there was no money system, we would still have people collecting things and trying to get more and more. Also, who judges how much is too much then? Also, people cheat for a number of reasons to include sex. People are the problem, not the money.

I'm still thinking it's an injury like a sprain probably from his fight since he has been seen using both hands in holding his sword prior etc and this time he just fires powers from it. It's obviously not broken since he does move it about and can get into a scene of grappling with Xemnas, but he does not do much with the wrist unless he has to.

Some of you mentioned Dark Firaga but I doubt that is it at all. He used Dark Firaga repeatedly in CoM and Dark Aura, the harsher version than the one in KH2. I don't think the powers has anything to do with it but it may. I could be wrong there but it just doesn't seem to fit. I do think the sprained wrist came from fighting Roxas just as Roxas also wears the bandaids on his fingers. He obviously didn't get hurt horribly since its a brace, but a sprained wrist can be a bother.

Riku did seem to recover quick from the fight where he had his back slammed by Xemnas pretty quickly though some of that I wonder if it wasn't because of the doorway to light that was formed and returning home. He did seem a lot better once he was back on DI. He wasn't walking very fast before entering the door.

As others said, King Mickey did not seem a threat to them. They didn't know he was investigating them so much and he seemed to move around and not really attack anything. Also, they might not even realized about his interference in anything since he also only showed up to Riku in CoM to deal with Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. He does have a Keyblade but I think it would be easier to control a 15 year old boy and get his emotions going to do what the Org wanted than to try to mess with King Mickey who they couldn't keep track of since he could hide in Darkness as they could.
