"Court sure is mean" Sora responded. That lawyer was starting to upset him possibly worse than the Org had. Even if they were confusing and lied and did whatever misleading crap they did, at least they didn't try to skip over things of other people that led them all astray. The Org knew people's stories and did not deny them, even if they denied things about the Org itself. Sora squeezed Kairi's hand as he heard through the recount of what he had done. It didn't sound much like him to him. Why would he just attack someone for no reason? Sure, she made fun of him apparently, but that was hardly worth fighting over. Would the Keyblade even stay with someone who was like that? He hoped Namine would be okay. By what Riku had said, Namine did feel bad for what she had done and she had been forced to do it. Was the lawyer trying to get her to admit more of her own dealings and toss blame? He was very sly. Sora was kind of nervous about it. He would of course tell the truth, but at the same time, he could get nervous when under fire like that. He hoped Namine wouldn't break to it.

Repliku glowered. That lawyer had a silver tongue. What all this song and dance was about any way, and facade of order...he had no clue. He didn't get why people just couldn't tell what they knew and not have someone beating up on them verbally. He really did not like how Namine was being treated up there but held his tongue in check, biting his lip a bit to have something to do rather than get publically angry. He would not let the Darkness control his actions. He was its master...he hoped.

Riku gave a nod to Sora's response and just kept an eye on Namine. He gave her a look of encouragement as if to say 'hang in there'. She had faced worse than this man who twisted truths around to suit his purpose. Lawyers did these sorts of things to get different angles on the situation and to get statements that would support the clients. He was hopeful that when Namine might be cross-examined by the Offense, that the situation would be made clearer. Watching the lawyers though, an image in his mind of them being circled about by sharks in the ocean seemed prevalent to humor him because of an old joke. Of course the sharks swam away because lawyers are bad meat or so the end of the joke declared. Riku decided if he ever went on trial he'd just represent himself or just say he was guilty rather than endure all this.

He looked over at the Org curiously. Sitting there all together on the same side was each member and he could only imagine that if they did have Hearts, some of them would be gladly murdering others. The Org itself was not so organized and he knew if he were some of them, he would want to bash a couple others in the face. He then felt a bit saddened as he thought...they don't have Hearts...do they even care about what the others did to each of them? Their personalities were vibrant. Riku was often left with the thought that though they had no Hearts, they still must have souls and that had to mean something. He'd ponder it more as the case went on.

It sounds like your sister is being one-track minded on the issue so you probably are not going to be able to convince her. If she hates something there is a bias towards it and it will not really matter what you say unless she is actually willing to listen to you. That's how people get over various topics and we all have our pet peeves.

There is no way that anime does anything more than as I said, other cartoons have done in the past. It is simply for entertainment and a marketing ploy when toys, cards and the like are tossed in for people to buy. Some people, as others mentioned, get 'obsessed' with anime but that's no different than liking a favorite song or movie or cartoon or video game and blathering on about it. You are right and I'd stick to your guns mentally, even if you cannot convince her. Sometimes in these scenarios it's best to 'agree to disagree' implying you don't have to give up your feelings regarding the issue but you respect that she also has a right to her opinion. Good luck!

[IMG] "Objection!" This is said after the first few statements where Namine pauses to answer questions obviously not being complete. "The lawyer is attempting to side track and not tell the conditions of the situation which forced Sora to draw his weapon in the first place and is leading the witness."

[IMG] "Objection!" Harvey Birdman would once again say at the last question. "Namine is again, not on trial and the Defense is leading the witness once again and not being clear as to confuse the witness. He should have stated clearly his intentions and should not be badgering the witness. He is fishing for half truths and not allowing the scenario to be heard clear and concise for what it was."

[IMG] This is said after Namine's statement. Birdman straightens his tie. "Your honor, Namine may not have had the option of the Orb to view but it is apparent she had ties with the Castle Oblivion to manipulate the memories of Sora and could view what Sora was up to as she was linked with him. This argument of not being there to witness should be removed. Considering the witness had shared Sora's memories and knows the situation from his point of vision as well and his feelings on the matter, she can be considered a solid witness, even if she had not prior seen -every- detail."

Harvey then looks at the judge to address the question of removing weapons without a license. "The charge of weapons without a license is invalid. However, I move that there should be charges of aggravated assault added in its steed because use of a weapon with intention to bodily harm or attacking unprovoked is more accurate than the other charge. Anyone can 'carry' a weapon. It is what the person intends to do with it that is the questionable scenario."

Considering we have archaeological evidence to support Homo Sapiens have been around some 250,000 years ago and the earliest skull I think of Homo Sapiens Sapiens (which is us) I believe is 130k years old around, the 12k count even if he doesn't want to consider other former links proves that we've definitely been around longer. I <3 archeology. Modern day humans moved to Europe around 35k years ago.

Any way, it seems we may never know why the earth is supposedly 12k years old even as we have tons of evidence that humans have been around for far longer than that. I was curious on the answer.

Sora looked down at his hand as Kairi took his hand and he gripped hers lightly now. "Thanks, Kairi" he whispered. She was just wonderful and always made him feel better when he was nervous. He took his other hand and set it on the armrest of the chair. He never knew what to do around Kairi at moments like this that meant so much and were endearing. Blushing like a fool was out though. That would be totally uncool!

Riku looked over at Kairi taking Sora's hand and holding it and smirked slightly before returning his gaze to the court case at hand. He was glad that now perhaps they were getting across to each other their crush things. He hoped someday he'd find a girl like Kairi. She was one in a million. However, he had no jealousy either and he was grateful for that. He had come to accept things before he had left Destiny Islands a year ago. He frowned a bit as he recalled how it had all turned in on itself and then shook his head wanting to focus once again on today.

Riku looked over at Kairi a moment. He had really not gone over much at all with Sora or Kairi on his side of things other than to say he was very sorry for what he had done when he turned to Darkness, forsaking reason and trusting in his friend. The past was done with. Yet it always seemed to crop up to bite him in the ass.

"I don't think I can tell you much since it would be considered disruptive to the court hearing and I will have to testify what I know. I didn't think it was that important to bring up before. I told Sora some things from what I heard Namine and DiZ recount but I was kind of stuck in a different part of the Castle."

Riku let out a soft sigh and continued to go ahead and relay the story in vague detail, talking softly. "In basics though, the Org members there...some of them decided to have a coup against the older members and Sora and I were instruments in it. Sora was used by the pink haired guy to try to take over the Org. Namine was forced to remove his memories to make him more malleable to Marluxia's wishes. The other side of the Org used me to try to counter it. It didn't work out as planned and Namine agreed to restore Sora's memories he had prior, but he could not recount what had happened at the Castle. It was a choice between the new memories or the real ones and he chose to remember us instead...or you rather. I'm sure we can tell you more later, or you'll hear it on the stand.

Sora listened in and gave a nod. Yeah, it was really weird and obviously really bad things happened. Namine had said he might be able to reach the areas in the darker side of his Heart. He closed his eyes trying to think about it. He then gave a disgruntled sound out quietly and looked over at Kairi. "I wish I remembered but I have faith that Namine will give the truest count of the situation. I guess after this I will need to thank her again." Sora then smiled lightly and put his hands behind his head in that manner he always seemed to do when wanting to be casual and relaxed.

It really kind of bursts my bubble that people continue to blame the 'internet' for being so evil. Myspace is the anti-Christ for children? Oh brother. They are not even bringing up in this how the girl was apparently mocking some of the other kids on Myspace in the first place, if it is the same incident. Games, music, the internet, these don't create bad natured people. It's time to blame the people who do bad. Not other sources. Despite popular opinion of some idiots, people do have minds of their own and can cognitively think things through and know better.

I do feel bad for the girl for getting beaten up. It certainly does not take 6 girls to beat up one like that. Even if I think by the reports of this that go into further detail that the girl was a snob, this was uncalled for. I do hope those teenagers who did this learn this behavior is just not something to be tolerated and that there are other ways of dealing with someone like that including the famous 'ignore' option or to just tell someone to go **** him/herself and cut the crap. Sometimes people have to learn the hard way even if we figure that by the time someone is a teen they should know better. Bullying and beating up on people never solves anything. Now they get to learn the legal side of it since they wouldn't listen to a conscience. =:/

It's true a lot of people seem to assume he's emo because of his hairstyle and his age he appears. I just find it hard to imagine a scientist boy genius as an emo. He seemed quiet and all but not really putting on signs of depression at all. He's a Nobody after all. Roxas was a lot more expressive and I think it's because he had at least a partial Heart. Zexion never really expressed much emotion but surprise and a scheming intuitive nature. That's hardly emo. Some people really do like to wear dark clothes, get hair cuts that are eccentric etc to be unique. It isn't because they want to belong to a certain genre. It's just too easy for people to try to stereotype others and class them and it just doesn't seem right to do to many people who aren't even trying to fit a classification. I think Zexion himself, were he able to speak and be real, would probably chuckle at the allegation people find him emo. You never know if the character concept history was one that Zexion did the look just because people would think such things and he's scheming that too.

Sora frowned and took a seat to watch as Namine now replaced him on the stand. "Even if I can't remember, something tells me I won't like what I hear", he whispered to Kairi and Riku. He then leaned back in his seat and ran a hand through his hair, listening to the words.

"This is not going well already. Not that I'm sure what we are exactly doing any way." Someone had a mean sense of humor bringing the Org back to be tried. Ah well, it was kind of fun perhaps. Answers though were all Riku really wanted. He knew some, but what he knew was not enough to validate what the Org had done in his eyes. He didn't hate them, well...maybe none aside from Saix who had been a pita and a manipulator. Then of course there was the Castle Oblivion crap. He would try though to be as non-biased as he could. "You probably aren't going to like what you hear. You're right."

Harvey pulls out a bag of skittles for the Pikachu attorney. "I never leave my office without Skittles. A rainbow of flavor in every bag." He looked at Namine after passing Pikachu the Skittles. "Namine, can you describe for us the first time Sora encountered Larxene; the events that transpired in some detail? I believe you have an interesting take on it, seeing as you watched it from a bird's eye view."

Riku shook his head for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "Maybe if Namine says some things and Sora focuses, he will remember. Namine though I suppose should know his memories of his time at the Castle Oblivion as she is saying so perhaps she's right." Riku wasn't too keen on the idea of Sora losing his memories and everything going foggy for all people again. It had been a difficult year last time and there was no way they could afford to take his memories now. "Sora's memories of events with the other members of the Organization seem to be more important any way if he cannot recall things through focusing. We have Namine, Repliku, Axel, the other Org members present and myself and King Mickey that all recall things. They won't be Sora's recounts, except for what Namine says, but I think they'd work if there's no alternative."

Sora listened to Namine and that small image of her saying that hit him. From where, he wasn't sure. He looked over at Kairi and saw she was upset. He then looked at the Judge. "Your honor, if it would not be too much of a hassle, I would like to have Namine speak first and maybe I can think about it really really hard and remember things to speak. Since this is about Larxene right now, I really can't say much if I don't remember and it would be bad for me to lose my memory again. It had a lot of weird effects last time."

lol, I so hear what you are saying. Sometimes there are anime I just do not like and the 'fans' will bother and say 'how can you hate that?' It does get annoying. It is like you said though. This is a corporate money thing in the end. There's no conspiracy attached unless you consider that some anime you will buy or go get cards or games for. It's the usual gimmick such as with cartoons in the 80s like GI Joe, He-Man and the like.

I really do wish that the Limited Edition and Special Edition games would stop. It is growing kind of annoying. I will say though at least this is not like Kingdom Hearts games and we can still -get- the game limited edition hopefully instead of it just being for a specific crowd. It is annoying though because LE means only a certain number will be made. I really don't see why in the end they can't just do -one- game for SC 4. Ah well, I will probably buy the game LE any way. I'm not that happy though with SC games any way lately. They really do seem to be becoming more ****astic for lack of a better word. The original games were great but seeing pics of some of the characters who've been in former games that are now updated ... they hardly look the same anymore. I will still get it though because the fights and storyline are worth it.

No problem. I wanted to learn more about him and found that whole special and it was too good to not post.

I think it's nice he found his niche in life even with all of the disabilities he possesses. It really makes one think about how with the problems such as what I have, why I can't keep fighting too to find a niche in this world because certainly they are not as surmountable. He has risen above such odds that it is inspiring.

Also, why do people still use the word '******'? It only has negative connotations to it. Growing up with a handicapped sister, that is rather offensive since I have never ever heard anyone use it nicely ever. I can even stand 'mentally ******ed' better than seeing the word '******'. It's about as nice as calling a black person the N word. =:/

Sora takes the stand and sits down, looking out at all of the people. oO(wow, there are so many people out there...this is making me nervous and at the same time...it's kind of cool)Oo

He looks out at Pikachu after waving to the judge and then speaks. "...I um..don't remember. I wish somehow I could recall all that happened at Castle Oblivion but I had to make a choice apparently to remember there and forget my past or to remember the past and forget there. If there was a way someone could jog my memory I'd appreciate it."

Harvey Birdman enters the court and dashes over with his leather brown briefcase, opening it up once he gets there on the prosecution side. "Sorry I'm late. I was caught up in traffic." He fixes his tie and takes out some of the papers, setting them before him.

OOC: it's kind of hard to play myself and also a lawyer me because of my nick. =:) Next best choice. Also, one more thing. Since the Organization did come back for this trial, would it be impossible to say give Sora his memories back as another little miracle? Also, if it's not too much to ask, Roxas's memories would be nice too. ^_^

Actually you are right and I stand corrected. I looked it up and I am horribly dyslexic so 2600 was supposed to be there probably instead of 2060 which I read it as. At any rate, thank you for correcting me. =:) I do like to have my facts straight. Dyslexia hates number order worse than anything.

I'm almost sorry I missed my being flamed. Ah well. Any way, back to the point. The Mayans are what everyone bases the year 2012 off of and I am still not sure the Mayans didn't have to stop what they were doing because of the way alignments works and mystery but also the fact that the Spanish occupation arrived. In the end, I think we are fortunate to even have the calendar at all considering how much the Spanish did to destroy a lot of culture in South America. I do agree that just because they did stop the calendar, even if intentional, that like the Egyptians did with their studies, it's a sort of era. It may not mean the -end- of humanity but rather a change to Mayans and unfortunately we cannot ask them. So people interpret the 'end' as in the end of all human life. Therefore, and also because it rests somewhat on religious beliefs as well, I am reluctant to buy into the thought that all life as we know it would cease to exist in 4 years. We'd have to have some serious events that were man made and instigated to see this happen or some climatic alteration of our planet somehow by nature and as of yet I don't see either transpiring unless humans get really stupid or there's some comet headed our way.

As for global warming, there is a problem with it as consistently we are losing sunlight and yet at the same time still remaining warmer than the planet should be. The scientific documents I have studied rather intensively do show that the heat we are getting from the sun itself is going in a natural slope downward but we are remaining pretty steady in the last few years, especially starting at 1950 onwards, which is the beginning of the industrial rage in many parts of the world. This is not to say industry is bad, but the problem seems to be the actual carbon dioxide we have been accumulating and also the steadfast rate we lose trees and do not plant new ones. Plants get rid of carbon dioxide so deforestation, not just by industry but also by farmers etc, in the rain forests and other regions does have an impact.

However, I do see a trend even in documents that shows global warming is not really as bad as environmentalists make it out to be. We are, despite what they say, moving more in a straight path than actually going up dramatically. I expect sooner or later if we go by the past, that we are more in fact headed for a dip in climate than a rising in global temperature which may happen because of the tides of the ocean with icecaps melting etc. It's very hard to predict though what will happen because of the changes we've made and also how the earth has behaved itself. We can look at 'past' records of the last several thousand and even million years but I can also see that the world changes and evolves as we do. Therefore it kind of leaves me with a sense of 'we just don't know'. If the climate dips though as it seems more likely to do, we all may be having to adjust a lot of the way we think and live. If it rises, we must compensate too. However, I doubt really 'substantial' change is going to happen in 4 years time even if scientists are not clear on whether we will rise in temperature or fall. I'm not seeing this as a means of our destruction in the immediate. .... This isn't to say though that I would not like to see us move off of fossil fuels, which since the 1950s seem to be part of the problem.

The other thing I'd note that seems to be connected to the global warming scare is actual radiation amounts have increased on the planet. This can be partially what attributes to more cancer victims today as well as the fact we live a lot longer than people did even a hundred years ago. The nuclear testing, incidences like Chernoble and the depletion of the Ozone have somewhat marked us all and that may be an area we need to research more clearly. Though radiation increasing is a bad thing, this also I don't see as being something that is going to end the human race unless we are stupid and push the big red buttons around the globe. At least not by 2012.

So in the end, I don't think that 2012 is really significant but to the Mayans and there seems to be a lack of proof to show whether the Mayans intentionally meant it is our obliteration or it is a 'change' as the Egyptians had said about ages. At this time, I'd have to say no, that I do not think this date holds any real validation. If I'm wrong, I suppose in 2012 I'll get some nasty messages here until our internet dies. If I'm right, well let's have a party. whee ~

Anime isn't meant to brainwash us. "Cute" is a high established thing in Japanese culture. They have anime icons splattered across billboards and as business icons etc. It's just part of the Japanese culture and I hardly see that it is meant to influence anyone else. It's entertainment. Now, if the Japanese were not so much themselves into anime and all, I would say this were a possibility depending on the anime, because they'd be doing this for other countries. However, since it is a main staple in their own society and Americans, Europeans and others became interested in it and did bring anime to other places before Japan itself did, I really see no harm in it at all and there are no hidden messages really that the Japanese as a whole are sending us by us watching their shows. The same could also be said about the fact we can also get Spanish television movies and other foreign films, cartoons etc, but the fact is that other countries like diversity and we all go out of our way at times to get it. Anime is a product of Japan but enjoyed by many who live elsewhere too. It's a good thing in my book, though some of the hentai nasty stuff I could do without heh. I won't go into description since that would mean a ban. w00t.

There is plenty of proof to say that the Org members and Nobodies do not age physically. For one, their bodies aren't their 'true' bodies but are forged from an element and Darkness as well as the memories they have of their former selves.

Also, it is clear that Xehanort did not change a bit in age from his transformation. Also, Zexion is the big one that physically did not alter. We can't really use Larxene or Marluxia to prove anything since it seems both came to join the Org in its last year or two. Roxas and Namine both did to me look a bit smaller in ways to Sora and Kairi but not by much. Roxas I think is a unique case though and I believe he is what remains of Ven, since he looks exactly like him. I don't think he would look so different since Ven is apparently 15 in BBS. As for Namine, she did to me seem smaller and less 'developed' than Kairi so I think she can be somewhat an example.

I'm pretty sure though Zexion was not 7 years old when he was taken in by Ansem the Wise. He wouldn't have been so smart. Even geniuses at 7 years old aren't doing the things Ienzo was capable of and I seriously doubt anyone would take a 7 year old's opinion as seriously as Ansem did when Ienzo was said in the past to have argued the point of continuing the research. It shows some proof that Ienzo had to be older. 16 or 17 seems about the right age for a boy genius prodigy to be making some ground discoveries and yet needing a tutor to learn more.
