Yeah maybe it was Roxas or Riku trying to learn how to drive. That would be hilarious.
Harvey looked at Pika. "Just wait. There's no reason to 'object' her opinion just yet. When the Defense is done we will set up to deal with her opinions and show some revealing things. We can't really interfere in the Defense's examination since the defense itself is not doing anything amiss. Once it's our turn we can address these things." Riku sighed, watching the scene before him. He knew Repliku had his own personality, even if some things Riku could say mirrored his own. Just because Repliku was a replica of him, kind of like a clone he supposed, it didn't mean that genetics were the end all and be all of personality and thought. Identical twins were technically the same genetic material from the same egg that split in two. They had similarities but also developed into two distinct people. It would be a task in some ways to prove that Repliku was his own person and not just a carbon copy of Riku that was 'fake' and a 'doll' but it was easy enough to be done. From here where he sat, he could tell Repliku was really upset and also angry. In a way he pondered why Vexen had chosen to use replicas in such ways and wondered deep down if the replicas could have been a possible way of a cure for the Nobodies had he went in a direction other than he had. Instead, the Nobodies used them as doubles, dominating them. Repliku had obviously gone his own way, but that to Riku actually seemed to be a success instead of a failure as the Organization members had written it off. If Vexen could create a being with a 'synthetic' heart...with better exploration and all, he may have even found a way to make the Nobodies synthetic Hearts or something. It seemed that while the Nobodies had memes of emotions, and brilliance in some senses of the word, they lacked at times in creativity or certain flows of logic. He wondered if Xemnas had known at all about the replicas and if he might have studied them more if he had known. It just seemed odd to Riku that a replica with a heart, real or not as far as the Nobodies knew, and yet they were so willing to do other things that were just destructive to get what they wanted. Maybe it was something he'd suggest to them later if they weren't getting the death penalty.
You have your points. I guess we'll hopefully find out more on them if Even and Xigbar etc look the same age nearly as they do later. I still don't think they age by the nature of what they are. Namine and Roxas are exceptions. Roxas I am pretty sure was Ven's form. As for Namine, she did seem to be more slender than Kairi and a bit younger in appearance in some ways but that's just me perhaps. Also, again, I think the fact that Kairi's heart was only technically out of her own body and Sora's for a bit is why she didn't have a memory of things, same as Roxas, which Ansem reports did touch on as to why Roxas didn't have a memory. I don't know exactly why DiZ didn't explain more about Namine but it was probably to keep the mystery up about her.
OOC: I am really not seeing how Namine is being so OOC when it comes to the Org. Her extra 'forward' personality is kind of bordering OOC but really, it's no more OOC than some other things here. Her testimony as far as I can say was feasible for Namine. The court outside that isn't so important. Marluxia and Larxene really did force her to do things she never would have done otherwise and did hurt her, use her as a prisoner, and a hostage etc. She had no real issue with Sora going against them, Repliku going at Marluxia or Riku going after Saix. In the end, she did have sympathy to the cause and also want her own life, just as Axel did, but there was confusion and some of the Org members were just plain rotten. I think Namine can have her opinion on them herself. Also guys, she was not just in an open place. She was locked up and Axel let her out so I am not sure why you keep trying to say IC that she was just able to leave whenever. Axel made a great show there of the door was open and he was looking the opposite way. It's rather clear with that she was locked in there and had just a chair to sit on most of the time. Sora watched as Larxene kind of glossed over her answers. He was not sure why she had. He watched intently though because she was so odd it was hard to understand her. She really did seem kind of bored.
OOC: Yeah, I mistook 'cross-examination' as the Prosecution was to go first. I deleted it out. Sorry about that.
http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=32662 Go to that link on this site and scroll down to the Twilight Town section. It should explain each thing you need to do and some easy ways to go about it. Good luck!
"Take care, Axel" Sora said with a wave as the fiery being walked back to his chair. He then turned and listened to Larxene's account of what transpired. She may have no Heart, but it was clear she had also no control and was reacting off of past feelings she once had which was kind of interesting to note. He did hear some flaws in her story but her account was nonetheless interesting to hear. He wasn't sure what to make of it all. Repliku at first watched Axel, not so much as 'glaring' as just staring at the man who had set him up to die. When Axel had looked back at him he had tried to gauge his reaction and he didn't know what to make out of it. He actually acknowledged Repliku's existence, unlike Larxene. Her words stung and made him pretty angry. A doll? He was so sick of hearing that. He may be fake, but he was still a person. Whatever Vexen had done, despite what the other Organization members had thought, he was made real enough. If he had been just a doll, he never would have gone against orders, would he? Right now he wouldn't have minded going up and thrashing her around some. Things were different and he owed them nothing. If the opinion was he was lesser than they were though they were not even full people themselves, he so called it hypocritical. Sympathy for Larxene was very hard now. She would get put in her place once he took the stand. Oh yeah. Vengeance.] Riku was not sure of her story. Larxene's story was full of reaction memes that were just showing she let them ride her and enjoyed the suffering of others but couldn't take it back herself. Maybe she'd be a more decent person in the future if she could see that. She had no Heart but she did have a world of memories she used to justify herself, skew her vision and hurt others without remorse. She also had a soul and maybe that was how to try to reach her. Otherwise she was really showing someone who was more empty and riding on memes than she could possibly know. He had never met her prior to this and was in a way glad so he could try to comprehend her. Anyone that had to deal with her, it was clear, her story was semi-truthful but at the same time labeled with opinions that were tainted and she had even some prejudice in there. He sighed softly as he thought of her words, repeating them a few times in his mind.
Wow, that's kind of cool to have a teacher do that.
Sora watched as Demyx, Axel and Roxas returned altogether now. "..Hi guys. Welcome over." Might as well try to be friendly even if he was not sure what to think about Demyx for being with the other Org members, making him fight once and then trying the second time to just run off...things were confusing. Maybe Demyx and Axel and Roxas were kind of friends before. Now when he thought about it, it made sense. Perhaps he had kind of been overboard on challenging Demyx, though of course, Demyx could have ignored him too. But still, it made him think because this was a side to the man he hadn't known before and Axel, who seemed more aggressive, could also be better as he found out. Riku watched as 2 defendants took off and came over to the side they were on. It didn't surprise him really. Demyx was not one who seemed so 'with the plans' whining about them and how the Org sent 'the wrong guy' and then there was Axel, who Riku had spoken to a few times that no one knew about other than Namine. He knew of Axel's attempt to kidnap Kairi and what he wanted to do and he had thwarted it once, taking her to Twilight Town. However, he could not be in 20 places at once so later when Axel found her, there was nothing he could do but hope he could get to her to stop Axel. He was sympathetic to the Nobody for wanting his friend back, but he also couldn't just allow it either through the methods Axel wanted to employ. He watched as both the prosecution and defense lawyers were on the defensive from the two people walking over. "Hey guys. I'd suggest if you want to stay over here, which you are welcome to, that we don't talk too much about the case information if we can, so that the lawyers don't have hernias." Riku gave a smirk, but he was serious too. If they didn't go on about too much pertaining to the trial itself and instead just chit chatted about each other in general, things could work out. Maybe they could all be friends and things would work out. Repliku let out a sigh as Axel and Demyx walked over with Roxas. He was really not sure what to think of the red head. Demyx, he didn't know, but he didn't seem much like 'Org material' when Repliku could recall the other rotten members of the Org so clearly. Axel...Axel had been so cruel to Repliku...setting him up to get rid of him in order to finish off the last of defective things that had happened so he could go on and not have anything counter what he told Xemnas. In a way, Repliku could understand it and knew he was just some tool that had outlived its purpose and was considered too unstable and unpredictable. However, he felt saddened that he wasn't even given a chance. Of course, he was convinced to finish off Zexion...so that alone said how messed up Repliku had been and that the Darkness was not so easy to control after all. It effected the mental state, even in his synthetic heart, if it was that. Part of Repliku hated Axel but the other side understood...it was difficult to think clearly. He wanted to go over and beat the hell out of Axel and sob at the same time, asking why he was so forsaken. This welling pain in side made him sink in his seat further so that his aqua eyes were still looking at the woman who was on the stand who had robbed him of his prior identity. This trial was so painful. He had to put himself together.
Reflect to me seemed most useful for foes that fire things at you from a distance and it sends it back to them so that was easier to time. I really didn't have much use for the spell but in some areas it does make things easier such as when fighting Xaldin or fighting Sephiroth when he unleashes those dark orbs. Some people used it a lot more than I did. Since Reflect is a timed spell, if you have great timing it can be used in quite a few places. If not, you are better off just dodging and guarding. Magnet was a spell that I found more useful because at first though it gathers only a few things and doesn't work on every single target, it does grow in power, gather more, and works on most targets. It could draw in things to make it easier to rack up points and complete the Jiminy Journal. I used it in Pooh's world where you had to fight the bees and get the group through safely to find Pooh. Another area was in the Hades tournament, where there are those aerial flyer Heartless in droves. Gathering them up and then casting thunder magic on them made short work of them, or using Magnet magic in a Form could kill them off without really needing to cast anything else. Another area it was useful was in Twilight Town on the job of gathering bees though you could also beat it by just using thunder magic and lock on as well. Both spells were useful in the right places. Hope this helped.
I actually have to say I liked the castle in KH better than in KH2 but took it that the castle in KH2 looked so bad because of the decay and all of the Heartless and Darkness from it. It did look a lot cooler in KH but the city added in KH2 was interesting and it seemed quite a bit of Traverse Town went to RG. Maybe in BBS we'll see the more technological cool castle interior that we did in KH. I think the best part of that castle was when leaving you could jump off the side of the castle anywhere and end up down at the bottom.
Harvey wasn't sure what to make of a witness and a defendant chatting it up. He assumed now that Roxas had shown he would be a witness to testify on what he knew of the Organization members, to include Axel but at the same time, he was a former member. This could be said of others but well...none tried to 'leave' the way he had which was just to walk out. "I think it's alright. According to the records, Axel and Roxas were friends and though they should not be too long together, I do not see the harm in it particularly. Roxas is not the only witness which will be called pertaining to Axel's trial and we already knew they were friends." He was just glad that finally Namine was off the stand and now, Larxene was. She was kind of hot, doing that lean back in the chair thing. Here was a woman that had control of herself and knew what she wanted. He was glad his hippo buddy wasn't here or else he'd be all over Larxene and probably something detrimentally wretched would transpire. He was waiting for the Defense to be able to question Larxene while he rummaged through some papers, getting his thoughts together on what he might inquire. Larxene did not have as many charges as others did. He was hoping this would go by fast due to that. The charges for Larxene were pretty simple and straight forward, even if the Defense wanted to try to blame others. They also weren't that serious if some were knocked off. No, there were worse people than Larxene on that list who could claim herself she was coerced by Marluxia, which seemed likely. This was going to be interesting to see how it played out.
OOC: Nah, it's not like that...Just to anyone it would seem very weird that Namine and Roxas are over there kissing when they barely knew each other. It had to be mentioned. lol Sora looked at Kairi as she leaned to kiss him but then turned to see what he was staring at. A kiss was so missed here because he didn't pay attention. Drat. He didn't mind though. Maybe sometime he'd get enough nerve to stop feeling so awkward and kiss the girl he had a big crush on. It could happen...someday. Riku was wondering how the court room was going from verbal fights to now romantic feelings in the air. He put it off as Larxene's fault. Not really, but the thought entered his mind as a humorous explanation.
Sora looked over at Roxas and Namine and then his eyes trailed over to Axel. Axel just seemed somehow dejected and maybe disappointed somehow at the same time that he had a sort of gleam to his eyes. Sora sighed. Poor Axel. What got to Sora most was that Namine and Roxas were -not- even going out before and now suddenly they were kissing and were just friends...this was confusing. Their relationship of knowing each other a brief time was moving along farther than his and Kairi's...and they never declared they wanted such a thing. Life was confusing...best to ignore it. However, he couldn't ignore Axel who had died to help Sora, which of course meant that it would help Roxas despite the confusion of it all, to go on and stop the Organization. He felt really sorry for him suddenly, recalling his death and sacrifice and that Namine had all of his attention. He sighed and gave a wave to Axel, not really understanding why Roxas and Namine were kissing when they hardly knew each other, but he hoped that Roxas would sooner or later pay attention. After a bit he finally just poked Roxas. "Come on, Roxas. You could say hi to people you've known longer or something and one that actually tried really hard to do things for you." Riku seldom saw Sora get angry. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on. Then he saw Namine and Roxas kissing and just rolled his eyes. How sweet. How kind of immediate. Maybe Kairi was right and the two should just go off and get a room. Riku watched as Sora poked Roxas in some agitation and looked over at Axel. oOOooh, he thought mentally. It all clicked. Riku gave a wave to Axel as an offer that if he wanted to he should come over to see Roxas. For having no Heart, Roxas really did make some lame decisions at times that seemed purely based on self interest emotions but in the end it just meant he wasn't paying attention to everything. Riku would probably debate the issue that he seemed to have some kind of a Heart forever. It was the reason he defied DiZ and saved things of Twilight Town for him. "Sora, it's alright. Hopefully, Axel will come over here." Repliku yawned and sat upside down in his chair, feet hanging over the top. He was boooooooooored. He looked over at Namine kissing Roxas and just shook his head. Seemed Namine liked everyone but him. Such was life. A small part of him really wasn't sure at times if he hated her or not any way because of what she had done and an apology a year or so late was still...late. He had to think about it but in the end knew it didn't really matter. They were never friends.
OOC: Okay...now Roxas is in and not part of Sora. Goodie. I did not see till now Pika Power apparently had the character. This changes things. I swear for some reason I didn't see that before. lol Sora gave a wave to Roxas. It was interesting to see him here and yet feel a connection to him.
OOC: Kairi and Namine need to stop going to visit the judge on break times. =:) Coercing the Judge..lolz Riku studied Larxene on the stand. He had never met her before though he had heard of all of the members of the Organization. She was kind of an odd mix of bubbly and bright in persona and yet there was a dark seeming cruelty about her as well. What an odd combination! She was, like the other Organization members, someone who played off the bubbly blond image well and yet underneath it was a woman who had a serious intellect too, it seemed. Even a deadly persona. Studying the Organization members like this made him ponder how right it was to do, almost like he was scientifically analyzing them and he knew some of them at least did about the same like Xaldin and Saix. Was she also as crafty as Saix? He would wait and find out. He curbed his guilt though because he knew anyone who took the stand was going to be scrutinized. He wasn't sure he always admired his mind in where it went to but here it was a necessary evil. Sora watched Larxene. He remembered what she had done and had just been confused then at her behavior and now, she was still as baffling. In life, he was sure she was not a very nice woman. If Sora knew what a sadist was, he'd call her that but instead she was just a person that liked to watch others suffer and confuse them. He pondered what her former life must've been like to make such an otherwise presumably friendly person turn this way. Maybe others had hurt her and this was a retaliation. Maybe she had a reason in there to be the way she had been at the Castle Oblivion. He munched on some M&Ms quietly and let them melt in his mouth, not his hands. That is what they were supposed to do, after all. Repliku looked at Larxene. She was pretty well the same person he remembered her to be. Cheerful, electric, sadistic, almost like a high energy cat on the hunt. If she wasn't such a mean person, she'd have been fun to hang around. He bet she liked games and cool things like dinosaurs and tigers. It was funny how things turned out like this. He wondered what she was going to say. She seemed to be having to be coached by the Defense lawyer on how to be good. This almost made Repliku snicker because this was how Larxene was. She was her own person and she wouldn't be controlled like that. In a way, that made him and Larxene similar. He still hated what she had done to him but he knew he was from the Organization and connected to them just as much as he was to Riku.
That's why I didn't participate in this today. I don't mistreat people for being gay or straight. If I mistreat anyone it's usually because they have a tude and are mistreating others. I abhor bullying and don't mind putting someone in their hole occasionally to get them to stop bothering others. Since I've not been a person to bother someone, I don't feel I should also give them special treatment either. I am sad to see anyone die over such a stupid issue but then again I am also sad to hear about someone dying by gang violence, being picked on because of religion or lack of religion, color of skin, gender, etc. This means I don't 'support' the people who do it and choose to make friends with those who are amiable to me. Accepting people for who they are is great. There was also just no way feasibly I could even do this in college and work etc. Maybe if they had said instead to wear a ribbon or something, this would have gone over better. Hardly anyone where I was adhered to the day because it was too demanding and asking us to give up too much freedom to cope with a day and even though I know kids in high school, they said they were unable to really do this either. It's a great idea to do 'something' but I just think it needed to be thought out more. I still am against the idea that 'silence' was the cure anyway. These are things we really need to address instead. Maybe that's just me though.
I believe we are 'one' of the causes. There are many causes to the world's state and humanity is not the only thing that makes things harder to endure. Species do die without human interference by nature. Nature is not as friendly as people want to make it out to be itself. There are natural disasters that have occurred over billions of years. I am certainly not going to blame humanity for it all, though yes, I do feel humanity is a part of the situation and we do have a responsibility to not be such a giant contributor to issues.
Harvey shook his head. "She cannot just say she did not do something and be acquitted of the charge. That is what the testimonies of the witnesses are for. If she lied she would be held in contempt of court. However, it is important to get the points of view of each person. I am actually surprised they called her before the others though as it would be more in their favor to let Larxene have actually heard the others first. This is how it works though and we just need to do our best to see her side and also relay the victims' sides as well to see her reactions which will help the Judge decide." Harvey whispered so as to keep his voice down while the Defense investigated their first client on the stand.
Hmm, the rewriting of the Bible I believe was meant as part of his movement to unify the Catholic and Protestant churches in Germany under a system kind of how old kings ruled with a religion as a part of the way of life back in the Dark Ages. It would give him more control to unify the factions and also spread things as he wanted. Religion was a sort of tool in the Dark Ages and also Hitler saw it as one, though his goal failed and the churches never did unify and kept mostly to their teachings. As said, Hitler also didn't cause anti-Semitism. The notion for it had existed since Jesus's death. Actually one of the people to really push for it was the founder of the Protestant movement which was Martin Luther, though for some reason this gets often covered up. Hitler was at least a practicing Catholic on the outside and anti-Semetism had been around for a long time. However, in Germany it grew strong because by statistics, and propaganda to these statistics by the Nazis, it was found that Jews owned many of the stores still functioning after the loss of WW I and seemed economically more stable than many of the other citizens of the time. It was easy to slander this to their benefit and make regular people not like them even more. Mein Kampf also mentions God in it in areas and Hitler clearly wasn't saying he was 'God' but it could be declared he believed he was some sort of prophet for sure. The SS including Himmler could be said to have 'worshipped' Hitler because he was their 'absolute' leader and they were very devoted to him and the Aryan cause. However, Hitler did not try to claim he 'was' God. He did however, elevate his status as being someone who was working under God's design at times, for sure. Even soldiers had Christian crosses and such as awards on their uniforms so it shows that even if Hitler was not so Christian himself, he knew he could definitely use it to get people more controlled and claimed he was a Christian. WW II is one of those subjects that is so controversial but interesting to me. As for the doll in the Ukraine, I am actually surprised people allowed this there considering any 'positive' denotation of Hitler is illegal there as well as in many European countries. I don't agree with painting up the guy in a favorable light considering some idiots try to constantly argue with me about whether the Holocaust is just a fabrication of Jews or not. Despite this, I guess I have a quirky sense of humor and would want one and a Stalin doll, Sadam Hussein, Mussolini...so I could put them in some stupid scene like a wrestling ring cage match including dumb wrestling clothes and poke fun at them. I do not approve or condone of what he did, of course, but at the same time, I see nothing wrong with decorating up a stupid scene with him in it to laugh at. Maybe it's a coping mechanism or something.
