Riku is cool to me. He messed up but had Sora been in his position and messed in the head by Xehanort's Heartless because he was the chosen Keyblade wielder all along, I think he would have been screwy too. Riku spent a lot of time helping train the kids on DI to include Sora in how to fight. He also was not a poor loser and would just shrug if you beat him...unlike Sora who goes all mopey (not to say he was that bad either but seriously). He also probably could have whooped Sora at the race considering he WALKS at points and looks to be just jogging away. His joke on Sora with the paopu fruit was meant to also get Sora to just go ask Kairi out because he knew that Sora liked her and even though I think Riku had feelings for her too, he knew she was more interested in Sora. So he made some mistakes in KH, but he really fixed himself up and he could have been a lot worse. There were things Sora and others did or didn't do that also helped propel Riku to more negative decisions and reactions such as Donald being an ass when they met up and Sora not defending Riku more, as well as Sora having Kairi's Heart in his own and not realizing it till Ansem points it out, despite visions and all. If Sora had realized and told Riku, Riku never would have been desperate enough to give up his body to Ansem and he proved that by stopping Ansem from going after Kairi and Sora's friends when he could get control to let them escape. In the end, he made mistakes but his personality to me seemed the most mature out of the three despite that and he could have been a lot more emo and pathetic after all that but was strong and stuck things through, spending a YEAR working to get his friend back while also being sympathetic to Roxas, Axel and Namine. His role is so not seen for how deep it was because the story centered around Roxas and Sora, but really, I think it's because his story was very grim and probably couldn't be contained without a higher rated game. We're just left to fill in the blanks. He's not perfect but I found flaws in Sora, Kairi, Roxas, Namine etc too. It's one of the reasons the game is cool. No one is perfect all the time.
Girls aren't so different really. People make divides amongst the genders and I see it more anymore having to do with instead how males and females are brought up for how they will act. Best thing to do as others have mentioned is to try to get to know the girl above 'she's pretty' and 'I like the way she laughs' etc. Find if you have common interests and such. Next, don't put on a front and decorate yourself up too much. Be yourself and if you are depressed or already discouraged you are going to lose out. Girls who are nice tend to like a guy with self-confidence but isn't a pompous jerk and is amiable enough with others. Be you and if you find you still like the girl for more than 'she's so freaking hot', even though you don't want to hear it exactly... go ask her out by just saying 'I think you are cool and would like to know if you want to go out on a date' or something to that effect. Do it at a time when you two aren't surrounded by others too as she may feel pressured to go out with you then or run off. Also, avoid cheap pick up lines! (not that most of us don't know this.) Being straight up, real and self-confident can win over a girl. It won't work in every situation of course, but it seems to work out better than any other method I've seen people employ. Also, if you get denied, don't take it to heart. There are other girls and attraction and interest just aren't always aligned and mutual. If you are too mopey, you might miss out on another girl that has interest in you. Good luck~
I used to deliver papers when I was 12-14 for money and on the route was a house with 4 pitbulls at it that would come out and greet me sometimes when let out in the yard to play. I'd pet them all and toss sticks for them and they were amiable and great dogs. I've known other people to have pitbulls and they were fine. There are reasons why they want to do this pitbull purge sadly but I don't back it at all. One is that when a pitbull bites, their jaws actually clamp down tight and they are very very hard to pry off something. It makes them more of a danger than some other dogs if the pitbull is that mad to actually bite a person so full force. The other reason is the stupid ass lame idiots who train the dogs for dog fights. This is a big thing in some areas of the country to include major cities where people raise dogs to fight and gamble on the outcome. It SUCKS and I wish they'd stop it. Because pitbulls have the jaws they do though...it makes them great contenders for it. Unfortunately, it seems very hard to stop these people from training the dogs in such a manner and some have been bred over a good amount of time to do this so it can make the demeanor of some pitbulls bad. I do not see the harm in having pitbulls as regular dogs and have never heard of one just up and attacking someone for no reason where I live. There are some legitimate 'attacks' by dogs and I can say I was bitten a couple times being dumb myself. People often say that they did 'nothing' to warrant an attack from a dog, but often times they don't raise the dog right, hit it or do something stupid. At this point I'm more thinking that instead of a purge on any type of dog, perhaps people ought to have to go to a training course to own a 'big dog' (not those little dogs because eh, they can't do much if they wanted to) in order to have it and a lot of this mess would probably calm down. It would also prevent those charged with animal abuse such as dog fighting etc to not be able to get another dog for such a purpose. As much as it is an inconvenience to some of us who have been raised around animals, I'd certainly take a week or two course on handling dogs like pitbulls, dobermans, roddies, german shepherds etc if I wanted one, knowing that I learned something new (or didn't since I've raised dogs and cats for years) and that it would help screen people from getting their hands on a dog to put into this lifeway of abuse.
This is a good question and I have to say that I am torn on the issue myself as I've seen how it is not a 'good' thing to do, but if it happens and the girl is strong and sticks with her decision and loves the kid or kids, I'm certainly not going to say to her 'you shouldn't have done that' because I don't feel the right to judge and am actually proud of her that she adjusted so well. Yes, I think teenage pregnancy in general is a bad thing. It's a burden on the family who often has to step up. There are bills that drain the family budget, the government budget, etc. Also, some girls are just not emotionally ready for such a commitment and only had sex with the guy to 'keep him interested' when a guy plays up to the girl. It may be a matter of exploration but at the same time low self-confidence and not wanting to lose the guy, so she gives in to the sexual advances. I therefore seriously don't blame JUST the girl in these things but totally blame the guy too who didn't have enough brains to use a condom. I have too many friends around me make stupid mistakes and hormones during teenage years can make you just as stupid as the alcoholic at binge parties in college. I have a sister that got pregnant during high school, amongst some other friends. It was pretty awkward to deal with her getting pregnant by some guy who was a jerk. She declares now that she was foolish, in love, and had hoped he was reciprocating. Not only did she have one kid by him, who I had a nice talk to, but two...one at 16 and one at 18 and he left her both times. She's older now but this was really a burden on our family during the time and people kept saying she was foolish and threw her life away. Despite her immature nature then, we were there, she grew up, got self-confidence and those children now make her very happy and she's glad she kept them. She had the opportunity to choose abortion and decided not to and though people will be opinionated...once those kids were in our lives, we all were just like...aww..they belong. Now she has a GED and has a good job and is working on making things go well for her and the kids despite the guy never paying a dime of child support. Her life is more positive and she knows if she wanted to she could get a man in her life and it would be more on her terms as well. This is the good side of it. The bad side of it of course is that some teenagers really cannot mature or get better and loathe the kids later, mistreating them, and regretting their decision. These girls didn't know what they got themselves into and probably won't for years. The guys also left them on their own and their families either take up the burden or the kids are taken away because it's just not a healthy relationship to leave them in. Family fights between both sides often erupt and things have to go to court to be settled and even then there is no assurances of a happy ending. So...though I discourage teenage pregnancy because of how life works nowadays and how important it is to get an education and be set up for kids if you can...I really can't judge someone that adapts to it and does her best and has it in her heart to be a great mother. Hell, she has my utmost respect.

He knew in his Heart what was wrong or right for the most part though at times he became challenged with it when lines weren't so black and white. Court really did try to make things very black and white. It was interesting and yet a bit unnerving to Sora. In the end, the guy was a coward who used girls to hide behind, made other people do his dirty work, and knowing how Xemnas was...he was hard pressed to figure out why Xemnas ever let such a reject run things at a secret base of the Organization. However, he didn't want to really judge. In a way though he had to say he had more sympathy for Xemnas who was part of Ansem ..no Xehanort's Heartless...who caused the mess in the first place. Sora wasn't sure he was happy to feel so judgmental about others though. He could forgive nearly anyone if they were willing to turn over a new leaf so he knew he'd suck as a judge, let alone a lawyer." Riku gave a smirk to Roxas as he watched the Offense side wrapping things up. "Roxas, you need to learn what I do so your brain doesn't hurt. Ignore that which you can't explain at the time or write it off as it's just stupid antics and that no force in nature can explain sentient stupidity. It goes against itself and nature somehow, which makes little sense to anyone." He patted Roxas on the shoulder once and turned back to watch the trial.
I have to say I liked Olette more too because even in her short debut she seemed to have more personality. At the end of KH2 though, Kairi did show more of a personality so I am hoping in KH3 she will be a more understandable character. That really is one of my beefs about the character. She had 0 personality to her until she got a backbone and did something, even if I do ponder how she jumped off that ledge in a swan dive and landed not by cracking her skull open. She has potential but it is severely untapped, and I'm not talking her abilities here. Not everyone has to be a fighter. However, they at least need some personality development. We know Riku's and Sora's. It would be nice to see something of Kairi's more than just being Sora's love interest.

Harvey gave a nod to 150. "The floor is yours." He sat drinking his coffee and hoping this would work out alright. Avenger walked across the table, pacing as if he was ready to do the examination himself but of course, he was a bird. He would however, have fun mimicking the actions of Mewtwo as he'd do his examination. Sora sat there looking out and hoped this would go over well. Now he understood how it was to be put on the spot and he could not help but be a bit nervous. This looked more exciting to do when playing court than having to be up here for the real thing.
OOC: I wasn't sure how to get it done and Sora did a lot of stuff. It was more things than I too anticipated actually as there was more evidence going through the videos and script than I thought. In a way I did it for two purposes. One was so I would have a reminder where these things were so I could look it up if asked for more details, because researching all that took a longer time than I wished. The other was that it would help the case move on faster for the Defense/Offense and perhaps we wouldn't get hung up so badly as we did on Larxene, where Namine for some reason was being put on trial and then the debates back and forth with Larxene on the stand. If it doesn't work out better I suppose if Riku or Repliku get called up I'll work it differently. Another reason I did it is because later if Sora is called up, I can omit scenes from this as they apply to others or they could be used when trying Vexen or Riku Replica if he is going to be charged. It solves the problem for later things too. If it is too much, let me know guys and I'll go ahead and alter it. Really, it is to reduce some headaches for me and others who were tired of being caught up in little details and also so I could use this later on when others go up who Sora had to contend with. Since the first part of the game is devoted to Sora, it was going to be longer than Namine's.

I'm all caught up and what Harvey said was to Mewtwo to discuss the charges. I just wanted it to be in more order to not have to go about doing as many adjustments as with Larxene's. I expect some of course but didn't want things omitted ahead of time because technically, Marluxia was the mastermind behind it and he stood a chance of having less charges than Larxene. Also, I do get Larxene's punishment. Just I expected some prison time. lol. I do find it funny though and laughed. I suppose it came across as wrong in the way I wrote it.

The Nobody who I believe to be Marluxia passed through me and 'sampled' my memories, making a card. He stole them. 7. Entered Traverse Town and he said that these were just memories. We continued on not knowing what to do. 8. He turned my friends to cards and said I had to pick them up without fail if I value them. 9. He had me convinced I was going to meet Riku by saying I'd meet someone dear to me if I kept going and I had to go on alone at first. I know now he meant Namine, who I didn't even know. 10. Marluxia showed up again and I asked what he wanted. He said that depends on what I have to give. 11. Axel showed up and said he was tired of Marluxia hogging me and so Marluxia passed on the cards to him. Marluxia said 'perhaps you'd like to test him' and left. Axel and I fought after he told me his name. Marluxia never said his name but I could tell by the voice match it was him. 12. Axel returned after saying the same message Marluxia had about finding someone important but when asked about Riku he said he doesn't know and I forgot forgetting. He also said I may no longer be me. 13. We had already forgotten Hollow Bastion. After Aladdin's world we could remember me being a Heartless and freeing Kairi. 14. However all entries in the Journal Jiminy kept were gone. They stole it all. 15. We went on to Olympus Coliseum and came out with less memories trying to fight to keep what we could. We had little choice but to continue. 16. After Alice's world I began to have memories of Namine but they were weak. It was distracting me about Riku and Kairi. I began to forget Kairi and Riku being gone was less important. 17. After Monstro, I recalled more of Namine like she drew pictures and stuff and I was sad when she left. 18. After Halloween Town, Larxene shows up. She said that if I didn't recall the girl's name I was remembering then she'd be heartbroken. She said the girl was here and that I'd have to get passed the bad guys...then she said she was the bad guy after she kicked me and I dropped the charm. 19. I didn't recognize it since it was changed from Kairi's and she said I had it the whole time. I 'remembered' Namine's name then. 20. She said I was Heartless to forget...and it all felt weird...she held it and said she was going to destroy it. I got mad and wanted it back. Kairi's memory was fading and I wouldn't want to forget my friends. 21. Larxene and I fought so I could get the charm back. I did and she left. 22. I wanted answers about where Namine was and what was going on. She was gone though. 23. Riku or actually Riku Replica showed up after Atlantica. 24. He was upset because all I was thinking about was Namine, he thought but I remembered I came here to find him. 25. He said Namine and he were sick of me. He was acting very weird. 26. We were now scared something bad happened to Riku's mind and possibly the King's too since he was last seen with Riku. We continued on. 27. After Neverland, we met Riku again, and he was being stubborn and confusing still. We fought to try to jog his memory and see if he'd come down from this. It didn't work and he ran off when I tried to say we could go find Namine together. 28. After this I and Donald and Goofy couldn't remember Kairi anymore. Namine totally replaced her. 29. After Maleficent and Beast..I remembered my promise to Namine and couldn't recall anything else really but that we were here to help Riku and the King. We had to use that as a basis to go on. 30. After Pooh's world we meet Vexen who says he is the one who reunited me with Riku. I demanded to know what was wrong with him and why he was being controlled. He said I didn't need to worry in my 'final moments' and challenged me. 31. He fought me to produce a card from my deep memories which now I know were actually Roxas's. I went on to be on the outside of the mansion in Twilight Town. 32. Vexen shows up here and says it's another side of my heart's memories. He claimed Riku as his and we fought. I beat him. 33. He told me after that Riku had one fate, to fade to Darkness. He said that if I continued to go after Namine, I would lose myself and be Marluxia's pawn. 34. When I went on to ask, Axel came out and killed Vexen. 35. We went on and met up with Riku. I hoped he was free now because Vexen was gone but this wasn't the case. I found out that for some reason, Riku and I both had the same memory of Namine and the falling star. We both became very upset and angry. We both had the same charms too. 36. We fought and Riku dropped his charm confused and I picked it up calling to him but he was gone. It changed into a card and I could only think it was fake. 37. I went to Destiny Islands. Riku there was from my memories. I ran off to go protect Namine while he warned others. 38. I went on to meet up with Riku Replica and Namine. It's here that they start to confess what is going on about Namine altering my memories. 39. Riku Replica and I fought. He beat me and Namine broke his heart freezing him in place. 40. Larxene shows up and says that Namine did the whole thing. She said Riku was fake. She said that it was their chance, Larxene's and Marluxia's I assume, to make me their puppet but Axel betrayed them. 41. Namine was hit by Larxene because she was in a foul mood. I tried to stand up and defend Namine because even if it was not a 'real' promise, I felt it real enough to do something about and could tell Larxene was just not a good person. 42. Donald and Goofy came back and we fought, defeating Larxene who threatened to kill me. 43. Marluxia told Namine apparently that he'd keep her locked away in the castle forever if she didn't do as he said. She explained she was lonely and did try to lure me there but the plans to mess me up mentally were Marluxia's idea. 44. We go on to stop Marluxia and told her to watch after Riku. 45. I walked in when Namine was brought before Marluxia and he was holding her hostage to avoid a fight with Axel. Axel was determined that he'd go through Namine to get at Marluxia. 46. He said that Axel was going to go through her to get to him and vanished. I was really confused not getting the scene and fought Axel after he said he'd rather not fight me but had a reputation to think of. In a way I think he did it all for show. I defeated him with my friends. 47. He made a comment he saved me and vanished. I was confused so went on. 48. Marluxia thanks me for destroying Axel, still holding Namine hostage. He says that he wants the Keyblade power for his own and have the Organization at his mercy. 49. I told him to let her go. He told her to erase my memories. Caught as we were I believed I could endure it and Donald and Goofy would help me. I told her to do it. She could not despite Marluxia threatening her. He said I would be his slave and even ruined, I could be rebuilt to what he wanted. 50. Repliku appears and gets Namine away from Marluxia. We fought Marluxia along with Repliku and found out it was not the real Marluxia. This was really getting annoying. 51. We went to fight Marluxia who said he'd scatter my heart to the wind. 52. We won and then Namine said I had to choose between memories. I chose to remember my friends and real past but hoped to meet her again.
OOC: Actually they can be 'finalized' but saying there's no chance for an appeal is not right. Of course, an appeal won't be done in this RP any way but still, later lawyers could appeal if they found one Judge to be biased. It doesn't change the Judge's current verdict so go ahead and hit the mallet, Erkz. I think it's a done deal at this point.
At least Riku is winning this. I still (as I've voiced in many-a-thread) want to know why if so many people actually like Riku why we can't have an action figure of him. -.- Go Riku! Other favorites though are Repliku (Riku Replica), Axel and Zexion.

OOC: Sorry for the edit but I need to fix things after Zack changed it back to normal. Riku smirked at Zack's challenge and mouthed 'Bring it'. If he could take on the baddest stuff the universe had to offer, this guy was a piece of cake. Then again, Riku really had no intentions of actually 'fighting' the guy. He just had to challenge the attitude because it was just there. He glanced over at Kairi who had caught him and shrugged innocently. Okay, playtime for now was over. Evil girl. He then sighed as stupidity ensued that was worse than his little game with the bailiff. Magnega went off and now things were mad dashing upwards, spinning around and well, this was not so cool. On the bright side though, Pika Power had been rendered temporarily unconscious so the show could move on. He admired the little guy's spunk but it was holding things back. Then Zack arranged things as they were prior and all was at peace. Wonderful. Sora blinked as the papers and what not flew upwards to Magnega. "Huh?" was all he could mutter as tons of things went skyrocketing to be collected around the center point of gravity. "I don't want to be around when the stuff falls. Seems like a good time for a recess!" Sora hit the floor, ready to drag Kairi down if need be. However, Zack doing his act to undo the spell made him blush a bit as he climbed back to his seat. "Ahem" he whispered, clearing his throat, ready for proceedings to go on. Harvey blanched as his paperwork from his briefcase began going upwards. Files of work ... he dove over to the brief case and landed on it, slamming shut what remained of his files and Avenger let out a loud shriek of discontentment as he ended up rising upwards. Desperately, Harvey grabbed Avenger and waited for the spell to be over. "This day just gets weirder by the moment!" The spell changed around and his work was all back and tidy and Avenger was not in any danger so he gave a nod to the Judge. "Go ahead and proceed, your Honor." He looked over at Pika and set him in the chair that was his for the deal. "He seems alright. Just knocked out."
OOC: I did present it before but it was utterly ignored. I have no idea how the hell Erkz is ignoring it but oh well. I already said it was fine to be dropped ON Larxene. Please chill. In the end, Pika, please just drop it so we can move on. It's a trivial matter and though in real life this would never be tolerated, it's an rpg. Let's just go on please. Riku noted 'punk' coming off the bailiff's lips and covertly gave Zack the bird so that others would not really notice it but Zack of course might. He smirked and leaned back in his chair. Now he would possibly have some entertainment.
Harvey sighed. "Repliku did not just go to challenge Riku for NO reason! Vexen challenged Riku in the first place to get the material he needed to -finish- his Replica. He sent him to do it. Therefore, he used Repliku...Larxene and Marluxia used Repliku against Sora after. Both are reasons for coercion. What reason would Repliku have to attack Riku OR Sora otherwise? The last time Repliku and Riku fought it was by Axel's coercion. You miss the point, but moving on. As I said before, just because Larxene avoids it does NOT mean that Marluxia should. She was a sidekick. I expect to see this dealt with more justly. Repliku proved he was not just some hellbent evil creation when he turned around and helped Sora. He was used from the beginning." Harvey shook his head. "I think we should just move on since the Judge is being harsh on it, even if it is disagreed. As for the other point, Pika, we aren't going to keep fighting about what Xemnas decided. Let's just move on before I have a conniption!" Harvey gulped down the coffee...burped a bit and sighed. This was all confusing trying to deal with the Judge missing something so absolutely clear to him and then Pika still going for the murder charges. Avenger and he just exchanged looks like Mindtaker court was more comprehensible. Repliku shook his head. He really now wasn't sure this judge was so impartial at all but he had nothing of caring anymore for the moment. The case was growing annoying and Larxene was a person that couldn't admit her own guilt in anything but abusing Namine...and Repliku wasn't so sure he actually 'liked' Namine either because she had used him too and an apology so long after...it didn't hold up well to mean anything. However, would he still probably protect her over a phantom promise? Probably, because he saw good in her. Life was so complicated. Sora scratched his head. The judge had said his words and yet the little yellow prosecutor was going on strong still. If it kept going on, he saw that Pika Power was probably going to be really scolded like that Xanex or whoever guy over on the other side that was just as volatile. He wondered who was going to have charges filed next. Probably Marluxia, if they were going in order of numbers backwards. Sora really didn't like that guy much. He had been really rotten and all. However, if called up this time, Sora of course would tell the truth as he knew it. Larxene was mean and confusing. Girls weren't usually like that which he had known. Maleficent and Ursula were well...not like Larxene. His young naive mind was now open to the fact that even nice cute looking girls could be mean. What a revelation. Riku yawned and looked around the court. A new bailiff walked in like he was straight off the streets. Riku mentally thought...I bet I could kick his ass...because the guy was seeming much like a poser to Riku and Riku was very bored. The bailiff was doing his job of trying to deal with this rowdy bunch. Riku almost felt sympathetic for him because the other bailiff had ditched the area rather than try to keep this zoo crew in line. "Can we get this show on the road?"
