I would count the following people: Terra, Ven, Aqua, Riku, Sora, Kairi (if that wasn't just a pseudo Keyblade), Mickey, Roxas (while he was around), Xehanort (because he opened the door to Radiant Gardens) and Master Xehanort of the past, and one other hidden boss that is supposed to be intro'd in Coded though not sure he's a Keyblade wielder. Those are all the ones I know of currently.
I like the turn-based fighting style in FF as it works well for the games, but I don't think KH should ever be turn-based. It is so much fun to be able to move around and have the freedom to do so much more. I think it would lose a lot of its flair if it turned into another turn-based style game.
That would be a great idea if it were possible. Very useful.
If we are using it for the Spam Zone...yeah it would. lol
He can't be retried for the same crime even if he came out and said he did it. That's not the way the legal system works. =:/
I agree with you. Keep doing what you are and maybe it will encourage other girls to not listen to the ones that feel dirt is a mortal enemy. =:)
The derepping should be over now and if it starts up again I'd suggest messaging CtR. She's well aware of the situation now and will aid us. So, maybe now it will calm down and we can all move on. If you get PMs from the person too, whichever nick they hide behind, send it to CtR. The situation though does show something revealing. Many people that follow evolution's line of thinking did in fact read the Bible and were raised to think the same way as Creationists at one point. However, many Creationist supporters will not take the dive to find out just what evolution really is before deciding it's all nonsense. I am glad some have posted here and hope they respond but for others who do things like the derepping and backstabbing behind scenes, it just is very revealing that they are not a very open minded person and to preserve their way of thought, they strike. Thinking people with open minds won't bother. Other Creationists won't bother. Evolution supporters won't bother. A person who does lash out and won't talk about the beliefs is pretty much a very closed-minded and stubborn individual who feels he/she is on a crusade. It wouldn't matter whether it was on the side of Creationism or Evolution. The person feels justified that it should not be discussed and that merely bringing it up is grounds for a war. This is why I said to champion our way through it and keep discussing it because in the end, no one should have that power to 'shut someone up' about a topic such as this which does really have a bigger impact than what it should. I am glad that people did stick it out because derepping sucks but in the end, it's a small price to pay. In some parts of the world, even where people are said to be 'free thinking' societies, people are burning books, walking out of science classes and doing rallies to support this stuff being taught in school that is in effect not Science. I'm all for a World Religions class in school which can then teach Creationism, along with every other method of creation known to man people have thought up or collect. However, this idea too gets shot down by Creationists because they don't want any other religion to be known of but Christianity. To have it mingled in with other religions as is done in College (I've taken 3 world religions classes now) is just not fair to them even though in their churches they get these lessons of Creationism any way. I simply cannot see how Creationism is a science. Nor is Intelligent Design, except when it comes to the point that -we- intelligently designed something like Mount Rushmore, cloning, atom bombs, cotton T-shirts, etc. This is the point of the difference between 'science' and philosophy. Intelligent Design at best is a philosophy that has nothing set in stone at all. It is hypothetical to toss in that some greater being created everything because it cannot be supported or validated in the least BUT by a leap of faith. Science doesn't work off leaps of faith. We have an idea, we examine it and have to come up with solid proof OTHERS can see and experiment with. Whether God exists or not is up to the believer to decide. It is not a science and therefore, why should it have its place in a -Science- class? I can no more prove that God exists or doesn't than I can Brahma, Vishnu, Horus, Quetzalcoatl, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. These are personal thoughts and so is Intelligent Design. Finger pointing quasi-Scientists that try to pervert science with no actual proof, pointing out 'wonders of nature' as examples ...it's all fake science. They have no substantiation for the feeling that there is Intelligent Design but what a religion tells them. This does not mean that a religious person cannot also be scientific. However, things always will be muddled every time a religious nutjob comes along trying to prove God exists with science. It just is not plausible as it is a leap of faith. Science does not try to disprove God or Allah or Vishnu or Horus etc. It is an exploration of our world, multiverse, etc from the ground up. Religious people should not fear it. It gives us all many wondrous things to live with and helps us comprehend more of that around us. Every invention we have came from modifying that around us and was scientific in nature. Someone had to think -> design -> build -> test it out -> make it available to others. That is how science works. And this is why Intelligent Design and Creationism should be taught in a general World Religions class or at church. There is absolutely -no- proof that either is a science at all. They are philosophical and points of view that have no ending possibility to prove existence of it or not. By religious organizations continuously telling people that science is the evil bane of mankind, children are not learning as much as they could and we are getting dumber. Even with a logical solution of a World Religions class, they fight that science should be modified to keep people ignorant. Even very religious people should be afraid of that.
You are like half the girls in Coed PE that I used to have fun with. It was great to see the girls hop in and do things. Then there was the other half that would lean against the wall and look at their nails which was kind of annoying. I think those girls actually discourage more athletic girls to do things because they are also the 'popular' girls or as we used to call them "Jennies". Some of the guys would think because of that a lot of girls are that way but I'm always glad to see girls hop up and so were other guys too. It is a lot of fun, especially in games like volleyball. If more girls were like you then some guys would really drop their tudes thinking girls are so much weaker.
Riku thought over what Axel had said. It was one of those things that was true to a point but he was almost sure that despite that happening, they'd be called 'bi' and to have just gotten over Sora and Roxas. (I have to chuckle here OOCly). After all, they clearly had their minds focused on Namine and Kairi! "I'm betting it would help but we'd still see more fanfic on how we went through some emotional trauma of being denied our 'true loves' and then found some girls to make us happy in the end." He chuckled a bit having said it. "I'm starting to wonder where more than half of my side went to."
I agree with Xephos that you are a caring person and sensitive to your own feelings but also very much to others' emotions as well. Death is a sad thing to cope with and I hope you will feel better. *hugs*
We'll miss you, Amber! Get some much needed sleep and be good so you can get back on track and we'll see you when you get back.
I'm not really surprised that it has done so well. It's a great game and it seems more enjoyable than Halo 3 was. I need to go out and get this.
Yeah, the first Riku fight to me was harder than Rikunort where Sora faces him alone. The second fight was easier to me because it was a lot like the first. I won't say the 2nd time facing Riku was simple but it was not as hard. The Riku fights though were a challenge and some of the best battles in the game and in CoM too versus Repliku.
Where are you finding that he admitted to it? All I see on searches is that he 'admits' it in reference to his book which is hypothetical as in 'If I did it". I don't see anything saying about him actually admitting it publicly and lawyers are disputing this book by Goldman. I'm very curious. Err, I mean Gilbert. The other guy.
OOC: I still want an Org member to play, darn it. >.< You guys are having too much fun! Riku could only laugh. "I was waiting for you to point that out. It's sad that we have to live with this wonderful image, isn't it?" He was glad Axel had a sense of humor to play along because this was going to be pretty boring if nothing at all was going on. Those fanfics were something atrocious and he didn't care to mention that there was a percentage of AxelxRiku stuff out there too. Riku suddenly once again wished there were more girls in the KH universe that weren't hitched up. Maybe he'd luck out and get Aqua or whoever that 14th member of the Org was. He could hope. Repliku just smirked and continued writing...then chewed on the pen for thought again on how to word what he wanted to say...then went back to it again. He just had a point to prove here and either way it went, he was prepared. He peered over at Vexen a moment in thought. He wondered what his former master would think about this. He then shook his head and went back to writing. It didn't matter what Vexen thought. It didn't matter what any of them thought really, did it? They certainly didn't care what he thought. Of course, that was what this was about any way. Oh how he wished Marluxia would fry but he had the feeling a nice death sentence was not coming out of this. The Judge was way too easy and also dismissed too much. So, it was with great candor and amusement that Repliku would write a few more words and then fold up the paper and wait for the right moment. He knew he may be up on the stand sooner or later for charges against what he had done, but this letter was going to someone soon enough. He just had to now relax and be patient. He now had the will to actually sit through the trial until just the right moment. Then he was walking if he didn't have charges or a reason to stay. This was going to be interesting.
I thought I'd go ahead and write some fanfic for amusement and see how it turns out. This takes place after KH2 and just will wander since I don't know about KH3 events yet. The evening sun was beginning to set and the sky was full of color. The hues of purples, blues, reds and oranges were simply beautiful to the serene eyes that watched. Riku peered out calmly. His hand rested against the trunk of the Paopu Fruit Tree and he hopped up to sit down, never taking his eyes off the scenery before him of pristine clear waters and myriad colored skies. At one time in his life, he had thought this place boring and yet now he was just content to be back. A rustling sound came up from behind and soon another person would join him in sitting on the large trunk that had ample room. Sora's arms folded behind his head and he gave a smirk. "How did I know I'd find you out here?" Riku smirked sardonically. "Because it's where I normally come to?" He didn't want to give Sora any credit for using his brain today apparently. Sora scratched his chin and gave a nod. "Good point. I thought it was intuition. So, do you think that letter from the King is something we have to worry about right away or do you think we'll get through the school year?" Riku shrugged as he was not sure of the answer. He already did have quite the adventure explaining to his parents where he was over the year, glossing over the information. His parents were very 'realist' sorts and his fantastic adventures were something that in someways might never be accepted. Of course Sora had just gone and told his mom -everything- and he was so elated. Riku wished his parents could have taken the news but at the same time at least they seemed mostly happy he was at least back. "I have no idea. I think that it will become apparent soon enough. I keep...having dreams about it." Sora blinked. He thought he had been the only one. "Dreams? Wow, me too! Kairi has also. We were wondering if they were somehow connected to this all. What do you think Soulless are?" "I'm not sure. I guess they are kind of like another aspect piece of a person but they almost remind me of vampires or something in the dreams. Beings without souls is the best way to put it, I guess. They still have hearts and bodies...just no souls." Riku recalled in his mind the figures that were so very pale gray with long claws, red eyes and they looked pretty humanoid but yet devoid of life. Their screeches of agony pierced his own soul each morning he woke up. Sora pouted as his mind went back to the denizens that crept around, drained people of life and withered them to empty husks...and then these husks would alter the day after to become another one of the Soulless. He always just managed to escape but their mere touch was draining on a level that went beyond just physical. He was thankful that the Keyblade seemed to work against them, but at the same time they seemed as drawn to its power as the Heartless were. "Do you think they are sentient?" A frown was notable from Riku at this point. Sora was really prying for answers that he just did not have. As much as he wished he knew, he could not be certain. He didn't always like to go off gut instinct but at this point, there wasn't so much to lose. "I would wager that to be the case. They aren't like the Nobodies though. I don't think they are as smart as the Organization members were, but they have some intellect in there, along with a heart that seems filled with torment and rage." It was then that Kairi would approach the two and stand before them after making her way around the tree. Her hands went to lock behind her back and she canted her head to the side. "Yes, they are in pain and are angry and feel a need to feed off the life energy of others. We may not have much time now." Kairi's voice was almost cryptic though she tried to not make it so. "We will be leaving here soon." _______________________________________________________________________________________ Somewhere in the Universe. A being with a skull face and tattered robe looked over a cauldron. His horned crown upon his head was just evil looking. Everything about him was. His bony hands moved over the cauldron, clearing out some greenish smoke and his glowing eyes made the malicious grin on his face seem all the more sinister. "So, you want to play with souls" the being announced. "I will find this Life Crystal and your game will be done, but mine will have just begun." Through the cauldron that bubbled, a vision could be seen of a light gray cloaked being with a red gem that clasped it together. The form floated as if it were a ghost, moving through walls and gesturing at people somewhere in a small village that stood no chance. Merely passing them by made the people shriek and wither, their eyes going cold and their bodies turning gray as white orbs of energy rose out of them soaring into the sky. The image panned closer to a group of people, having huddled together in fear. No longer were they timid. In them awoke a hunger to feast on the souls of others and eyes gleamed red as they stood now. They were lesser than their former selves with instincts to react off of pain and a desire to feed on life energy to compensate. The small island in the Caribbean stood no chance. The Horned King had seen a few places attacked in such a manner and the being, whoever it was, seemed to be gathering himself quite a formidable army that would march across worlds to serve him as he gathered the souls he sought for some diabolical purpose. The nature of what happened did not bother or shake the being monitoring this all. It was more the fact it was competition and this would thus have to be contended with before the peril would come to his world. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Well that's the beginning so far. I plan on using some Disney bosses that were not used yet as well as some oldies but goodies and do a darker story here. Hope it is enjoyed so far.
I'd say PS3 because it has bluray and a lot of games I want. However, either system, depending on the games you want for it is cool. Both are good.
I think it's a good idea if it can be implemented. If not though, we do have the solution to the dilemma which is to use that preview button I never use. >.> I would miss going back and editing with reasons of 'kweh' 'wark' etc. Perhaps though I will start using that a bit more when posting to sections that receive a lot of activity like the RPG section or Spam Zone. Thanks, Pyro, for pointing that out. *passes the gift of fire to the pyromaniac.*
lol, understood, man.
