I do agree Kairi was pushed along to move things and keep her in the story. Riku and Sora, whether anyone hates them or not, did move the story with their attitudes and drives. She was a reason in KH to do so but after that she wasn't so much till the end when she gets taken again in KH2. Because of WHO they were...versus WHAT she is about sums it all up. Being the goodie goodie Princess of Heart seems to be more important to the creators than being Kairi who is best friends with Sora and Riku. People have blamed Disney for how Kairi acts, but to me it's the same as many of the white mage females in SE.

Maybe Kairi can be saved more as she is coming out to face the world and she told Sora to stop leaving her behind. I'm not a Kairi hater as I just see the character is rather ruined being cast in the mary sue role because of the typical white mage wussy female with strong holy powers bit. She has potential but it depends if she is going to be made to be more about WHO she is too or not.

I find this amusing. It's one thing to have an opinion and voice out against things such as violent video games and another to be doing conduct that mirrors them in some regard. He's just out for attention and the games he gets on are usually fun stress relievers. He's just a passive aggressive bully trying to fight against people having any amusement out of life and I will hope he gets some of his own torment back that he's caused. He gets money for no reason at all.

Harvey looked at the Judge with a 'thank you' in his eyes. He even had to exasperatedly say it. "Oh thank you, sir!" He hoped that there was a way to get Jack to be straightened up some. "His testimony is somewhat valid and correct, but I just think he's also somewhat delusional or filling in words to mean others. There are two others we could also call if we need to find them if Captain Jack cannot get some sobriety so that the Defense and Offense can compare all and Jack isn't called on perjury. He is being honest to some degree. I just think he's not...right in the head."

Sora snickered at Kairi. "Yeah! It was a lot of fun at points. Captain Jack Sparrow is a great guy, even though right now he seems to be totally sloshed. We had some high seas adventure and had fight against Pete and Heartless and also Luxord and his big Heartless and he stole the Black Pearl...what does Jack mean when he says Racist Pearl?"

Riku couldn't help but chuckle at Jack's testimony. He was really a strange guy but the way he spun his words was highly amusing.

    Hmm...

SoraxKairi - It's probably likely to happen. She really doesn't show near the caring for Riku so it just seems most likely.
RikuxAqua - I think she's the 14th member of the Org and it'd be nice for Riku to end up with someone that is cool instead of just some filler girl like Olette or Selphie.
AxelxLarxene - they just seem like they could hit it off in the right environment.
OlettexPence - they would be cute together.

I have to agree with Zandyne though when he says it's hard to find any good SE girls. Kairi is pretty and has a nice laugh etc, but she is only starting after 2 games, to be more than a filler female victim to spur on Sora and Riku.

I think about the only SE girls I like are Celes, Terra and Tifa because they actually show backbone and real depth and can kick some butt. Maybe I'm just kind of tired of the same old girls in SE that are always slotted as weak white mages so the hero men have something to fight for. She's getting better in my opinion but I'd like to hopefully see more out of her to show she's not just going to stand on the sidelines having the role of cheerleader for Sora. She doesn't have to be so 'physical' as the boys are because not all girls are meant to be so, but at the same time, I just want to see her actually do more with her mind at least.

You seem like a nice person, but if someone disagrees with a post you make, such as the lie scenario about Darwin confessing, this is a debate and people are going to draw out the truth and go back and forth. It's nothing against you, Queen. Most of us do tend to get along here and around the board, but we also are here in this section to debate some of the issues that happen out there and react to each other's debates. It's not meant to be that we make -enemies-. It's meant that we broaden our horizons, view each other's opinions and see if we grow and change or if we are more sure of what we feel.

Taking a debate personally means you probably shouldn't post here. If you can take some jabs at your thoughts and ideals, remain. If you can't, then don't, but in the end that's what it comes down to. You won't make enemies as long as you are a 'polite' debater and not like some people that were rude and obnoxious. Just don't take it to heart when someone says you are mistaken or they say 'no' and counter you to get more answers out of you or responses. That's what debating is. We're really not -that- bad. (Maybe we are).

Harvey laughed with bravado. "What could he do with an empty gun?" Then he thought about it that this was a pirate who had a legend on the high seas. "..any way...Jack could you please give us an accurate account of the events that took place?...and it must be true. You are on the stand after all."

Sora chuckled at Jack. "Jack, do you even remember what happened?"

Harvey blanched and walked over to Jack at the stand. "Look, Jack...Captain Sparrow...this isn't -your- trial. This is pertaining to Luxord...the guy who stole your ship...you know?"

Harvey leaned in closer to the man and then backed away waving his hand to get rid of the waft of odor from the rum. He rattled his head a moment. "Jack...we need you to tell the -TRUTH-. Otherwise, I will have to ask you to step down and get yourself more sober *puts hand to side of mouth and says away from Jack "and a bath" *turns back. "This isn't a court case to decide charges against you. We know you are a pirate and don't care. Are you going to help us with this or not?"

Harvey backed up and wrung his hands nervously. This witness was not turning out to be so reliable and just calling Sora up for each scene against the Organization was not a positive thing as he wanted to show the view from different angles to get the proper story. He suddenly wished Will Turner or Elizabeth had came even if he found Captain Sparrow to be one of the funniest men around and he was a darn cool pirate.

Harvey looked at Zack. "You can give hiim his gun back considering it was just a single-shot weapon and you've gone and used the round. "

Harvey blinked as he heard Jack's innocent plea. It was clear this man was used to being on trial or at least in trouble. He should have figured that he was this way since he was a pirate, but something about Jack was just off, and a notorious pirate...he was not. Harvey grabbed his tie and cleared his throat.

"Ahem, that's not quite what I meant, Jack. You aren't on trial to prove your innocence or guilt. We need your testimony in order to understand the circumstances you went through and your world went through when it comes to what Luxord did. Can you please give us an account of the events that transpired?"

Sora's eyes widened. He was being put on trial for what? Because of what he had felt he had to do? "This doesn't make any sense...but Namine, please calm down. Mewtwo, please too? There's no need to fight about it. I just..don't get it. What did I exactly do, sir?" Sora didn't want to see a fight break out anymore than had already happened. He also had no idea what he could have done that was so wrong with things. He had earnestly thought he did his best with what choices he had been given. This all came as a shock to him and he wasn't sure what to say or do at this point, but he knew getting in a fight about it was wrong. Surely, things could be talked about? No one had ever mentioned such a thing to him before. "I'm really confused." He ran his hands through his hair nervously as he tried to calm down the emotions within. Already one lawyer had tried to get him on perjury and now there was some court case he would be tried for? This was just not his day.

Riku turned and looked at the new attorney. "What the crap? I have no idea how this is even fair considering all that has happened. How could people charge him? I don't even know what to say to this beyond that it's outlandish and whoever brought up charges against Sora...sucks and I hope we hear those charges sometime soon." Riku wasn't trying to be overly harsh on it, because the lawyer was a lawyer and someone had to be behind it, but his words were strong mostly because he was taken off guard and just surprised. Sora was not the only one who had been out to stop the Organization after what they had done. Was anyone who had been against them going to be brought up on superfluous charges and if not why just Sora? He had to think on things because this wasn't very good at all. He had some sympathy for the Org, but when it was said and done, his best friend being tried was just something Riku was not going to just let slide easily. Sora never asked for the position he was put in.

Repliku frowned. Sora was truly the only person who had ever treated him as a real person and didn't see him as some stupid doll. He said nothing though as any time he spoke, he was just ignored or ridiculed. However, this deeply shocked him and he could do nothing else but look forward to hear Jack's testimony, rather than focus on this and blurt something else out that would just be considered nothing from a nothing. He might though stay now longer or come back because he would want to know what happened to Sora. He trembled a bit and lowered himself in his seat to avoid expressing anymore emotion than he had to.

No, it wasn't just a memory. I am trying to find a video of him attacking Shadows. I am pretty sure the rule held true for all Pureblood Heartless that they did not float up Hearts after. Shadows are the most basic form of them. Has to be something somewhere.

I'm pretty sure that any of the Heartless that are Purebloods, to include Shadows do not float up Hearts. I am looking for an amv of it since all I can find immediately is of KH2 which the Purebloods there don't and even at the beginning of the game, where he is attacking Hollow Bastion, they just disperse into Darkness if struck. Finding a KH1 amv of Shadows is like near impossible. lol. I'd like to also make sure.

OOC: 10 Luxord - Bama Seba
    Charged with:
    Attacking the worlds with heartless.
Possession and use of weapons without a license. (What was his weapon again?)
Turning Jack Sparrow into a skeleton.
Attempted murder of Sora with a heartless.
    Theft.

I kind of want to clean this up as I wasn't here for all of the charges on these people. So with your permission, I'd like to change the charges to the following:

    1. Attacking Port Royal world with Heartless/creating a Heartless that was used to curse Jack Sparrow and theft.
    2. Attacking Port Royal with Nobodies.
    3. Stealing the Aztec Gold, theft of the Black Pearl.
    4. Cursing Jack Sparrow.
    5. Coercion: Forcing Sora and others to have to attack the Heartless in order to undo the Curse he had placed on Jack Sparrow.

I want to change these because it is clear that Luxord probably had no intents on killing Sora, the curse was changing him to an undead..not just a skeleton, and possession of weapons without a license is not a realistic feasible charge.

Also, Pika, you can go ahead and do up Jack's testimony now in the formula we need to follow if you would.

Wrong. Purebloods are Shadows, Neo-Shadows, Invisibles and Darkballs. It is explained in the Ansem reports. Any that have an Emblem contain the Hearts within them. Any that are Purebloods reconstruct the body and heart to Darkness. This is why when you kill them, only Emblem Heartless show Hearts rising up out of them. One contains the Heart, one alters it utterly. Xehanort created the Emblem Heartless and they could not mimic exactly the true Heartless.

    I agree with Cin here.

If people actually looked through history and saw natural disasters all across the globe they'd see that these sorts of things have been around and will continue to go on and the severity on the earth itself is the way it just is and has been. The densities of these natural disasters go in rising and falling scales, sure, but really, it's not any worse than it has been at varying points in history. China was hit in 1975 with a major earthquake too on the same magnitude and in years past as well. Volcanoes have done their things, storms etc. Yes, there are changes in our environment, but the scale of human death etc is not that much different from what it was when you consider we now have a higher population and if places are struck that hold many people, such as cities, the death toll is high.

As for the Anti-Christ stuff and all the rapture whole thing etc...I don't buy into any of it. There are too many radical Christian groups out there teaching people about that and children, and I see no need to spread such fear and disarray. I remember having horrible dreams about that at 11 through 13 years old and finally resolved that it was all just fear tactics. When lives end, they do and that's just how it will be if it happens.

If the world has some tragedy, it will probably be understood why it happens and there is no great mystery or magical thing. We have been able to avert some things and we also have ways of even dealing with the global warming issue if people act on it soon enough. The clues to problems are out there and we already know it but some things like earthquakes are going to happen and there's nothing we can do about it, but we know how they work. We do have some things to work on to preserve 'our existences' and the effects of what we do and what nature and all is doing are out there to be understood. As humans, we can take acts to change what we do, whereas nature is going to go its course. God isn't punishing us. Satan doesn't cause the natural disasters. There are logical explanations for all of them with no hocus pocus involved. It's predictable. Life goes on as it will and repercussions happen naturally by actions. Cause and Effect. As sentient beings, we can actually choose to change our actions but some things, we just can't contend with and have to deal with it.

I do not think that is a middle ground theory at all. Whether God exists or not is a religious belief and personal choice. It is not involved with science at all as there is no way at this time to prove the existence of God or not. You can dispute till the end of time whether God exists or whether the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real. It doesn't matter as it is all opinion. However, I have a hard time saying a dinosaur didn't exist, or a Neanderthal or Lucy etc because I've held the fossils and investigated them. So really in the end, what you are saying is to force a religious view on people and that is not -fact- at all. It is real to those who believe and not real to those who don't. Regardless of a person's choice of religious belief or not, genetics are very real so again, someone -can- be religious and still believe in Evolution. There is a difference here between a choice to believe in a story that is given by humans versus real evidence you can touch.

If you choose to believe in God and Evolution, that is your theory and there's nothing wrong with it but it is hardly a middle ground theory when you say that without scientific proof, everyone should buy into it. Sorry to say it that way, but that's just the way it is. Not everyone is a Christian and as I said before, if people believe in any religion, they may take it that someone else other than God spurned on life, such as Brahma.

That is a deception brought about by a religious woman called Lady Hope who declared she was at the deathbed of Darwin. She was never there and the daughter of Darwin, Henrietta, disputed this audacious claim but yet still Christian groups continue to try to say it is true.

    http://www.cincinnatiskeptics.org/blurbs/darwin-deathbed.html

This is a site with some information and there are several out there that dispute this claim. I will side with the daughter, Henrietta, in the truth on this matter rather than some woman who was out to be vicious and declare something in order to protect a religion, which simply again, didn't need these acts to do so.

Well, it kind of is that way, though if you think about it deeper.

Nobodies - they do lose their bodies. They essentially had their bodies removed by Darkness when their Hearts were taken. The Nobodies' bodies they get are not their real original ones, but instead are made up of Darkness and another element and memories of their former self. So, technically they did lose their real body.

Heartless - the person loses his/her Heart as it is corrupted and eaten by Darkness. For the emblem Heartless, the heart is held inside but the body cannot get to it and the mind and soul went on to become a Nobody. For a pureblood Heartless, the devoured Heart is eaten and whatever remains of body becomes a Shadow, Neo-Shadow etc. This is why when you kill those, you get no hearts that show up.

It does seem backwards at first glance but at looking closer but technically whatever remained of the body was transformed to become the Heartless new body and is technically now just part of Darkness. The Nobody though has to make a new body out of memories of their former existences. Those who had the strongest Hearts before transformation were changed into Nobodies that held an appearance which resembled mostly what they looked like before becoming a Nobody. Those who didn't, end up looking like one of the other lesser Nobodies. For Heartless, the bodies transform into the type of Heartless that devoured the person's Heart, so if a Fat Bandit had a person, that person's body would be taken by Darkness and mutated to that. An example of it is in KH when Sora goes through to the 2nd level of Traverse Town and a Soldier Heartless gets some random guy. His body disappears and the Heart rises, changing into another Soldier Heartless. So, that's my best guess it's how it works.

I hope that explains it and helps out. It does seem though it should be as you said, but I don't think so when I actually had really thought about why it would make sense.
