I liked the MMPR when they first came out for the first couple seasons. It was funny and entertaining. Green Ranger rocked. White Ranger was cool too.

That's incredibly biased. The word is everywhere and just because in your area it isn't used but by black people, in other areas it is. Just my two-cents but if only one group of people can use it because they have a skin color to validate it, that's just lame. Not that I bother using the word much but really, '*****' and the other word aren't even the same meaning now. I get called a ***** and could care less.

Well you can go swimming but not go under water which kind of bums but that's really the only negative other than getting your eyes to adjust to the contacts. Good point to bring up though cuz that's an obvious con at times.

I wear contacts that go for 30 days and you change them and get a new pair every 30 days. They are so much more convenient to wear than glasses as you can get up and see straight off in the morning instead of having to dig around for glasses. It takes a bit to get used to but well worth it to me. A pair of glasses is good to have on hand too so that if you want to switch you can, but contacts are in a way liberating as you can do sports and all and not have them in your way.

Well the point is you do have a right to know if something is upsetting the family like this. If your dad does snap at you just tell him 'I think I'd want to know and I'm old enough to handle it.' You are a part of the family and whether they are doing it to protect your feelings or just to keep you out of the picture so you aren't involved is up for debate after what you've said. I'd say something to your dad when you can get him alone and your little brother isn't around that you know about it and just simply would have appreciated being informed. If you do feel it will just cause fights, in the end you are going to have the burden of knowing and I'd think mentioning to him that even your younger brother knows and doesn't talk to you so much now should be an indicator that things are troubling. If you feel you can't talk to him maybe you should just tell your step mom you know about it and leave it at that.

Also, if you don't get along with your real mother, you may not want to go back to her. Your step mom, if she loves you, may be the best option even if money is kind of tight. This is something though you should talk about with her to know where you stand in things because that seems to be another problem in this is you are going day to day and not knowing what the future holds for yourself, which causes more anxiety. I may suggest more strongly actually talking to her first instead of your dad if he's giving you a hard time because you live with her day to day and just pass on to your dad after sometime that you know about it after having spoken to her and see if she does want you still there and can you help the family in any way.

Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) was a pretty good antagonist. He was a great villain lurking in the background that came out at the end and wreaked havoc. The only thing that made me more frustrated in wanting to finish him off was that line he says about knowing and understanding over and over again. At the same time, that's what villains should make you want to do any way is kick their butts. The end battle wasn't really difficult for me but I didn't really mind either. All FF final fights are not difficult compared to secret bosses so it stuck with that theme to me.

Riku blanched and fell down his seat to the floor. He squirmed out the rest of the way and then stood up after moving away from Jack. Straightening out his clothes he frowned, greatly disapproving of the fact he had this skeleton guy on top of him for a while and had to look like a reject, getting back up. "Thanks a lot." Riku took a seat a couple seats down to let Santa have a seat too, after staring at him for a moment. He hadn't really doubted Sora's words for long but seeing the rotund red suited guy was a shock nonetheless. To avoid staring though, Riku sat down and tied his shoe.

"Hey Jack!" Sora exclaimed and waved happily. "And hi Santa!" Sora smiled until Jack sat on Riku's head and Riku was doing contortionist movements to get out. "Um...that's my friend Riku you sat on. And welcome here. I think after this trial with the Organization I have a trial after." Sora was happy to see Jack and Santa. They were such jolly, even if Jack was kind of creepy at times, and cool.

Repliku glanced over and eyed Jack who had sat on Riku...and then looked over at the plump red guy with a white beard. He could tell who Jack Skellington was, having seen it through Sora's memories at the Castle Oblivion. It was different to see such a figure for real. The other guy, he was clueless to his identity other than his name. Sora sure did make some of the most bizarre friends.

I would rather no rules be impeding on people and keep our government out of it unless some moron does some crimes of aggravated assault or whatever. Most people who take martial arts are just fine and we don't need the crap. If someone abuses their training and gets too cocky, that's his/her problem. That person alone should be punished for not doing the right things with the training that has been received. The only way a dojo should be analyzed is if a few students are coming out of there with big heads and doing crack pot stuff.

Martial arts does a lot of good for a person. It helps keep fit and not have a boring exercise regimen. It builds up a person's stamina and pain resistance too. Mentally, it can help calm a person because facing the possibility of a dangerous situation can help relax anxiety in stressful moments. Also, some schools are very good at teaching discipline and respect to all life and that what they are learning is for self defense purely and for bettering yourself as a human being. Last thing I want is martial arts being regulated anymore than it is. People with black belts in certain martial arts already require the need to carry a card around that says their hands are considered a deadly weapon. That's enough for me.

It's not violence he's mentioning here. He's not starting a fight. He's raising an issue that Atheists don't like to be 'blessed' because they don't believe in sins or blessings. We let people continuously force Bibles into our hands and don't believe so if someone simply says they don't want the blessing, they don't. We just want acceptance. It means one thing to you to receive someone's blessing through a deity and to others it means something entirely different. To understand that is acceptance and harmony. To say it incites war is to try to tell people to shut up and one side shouldn't be quiet when the other is still forcing their beliefs on them.

Also, there hasn't been a real war fought against Atheists vs Christians straight out ever. Atheists don't want a war and I would assume most Christians don't either. Even Evangelical Protestants sit around and just pray that God will smite Atheists. No one really wants to go to war over beliefs in such a fashion. There has been persecution and heck, George Bush has said straight out Atheists shouldn't be recognized as American citizens and Huckabee gave a nice speech on amending the Constitution to put 'God into it' as he says, when he was in the candidacy. Still, others of both sides have kept remarkable peace and not started wars over things. We all are 'talking' mostly. I can commend that one simple fact which is no one seems to really want to fight a war based over it even if some wish the problems would ultimately disappear. People are going about it as peacefully as they can.

The sad thing is that parents already do this and drugs are illegal. I've seen first hand parents use drugs and kids get a hold of them or that kids -know- their parents do them. A lot of this would actually stop after a while because the drugs would be gotten legally and parents who sell drugs would not be able to anymore so their habit in many cases would slow down. In some cases you may be right that parents would be more open about it but I doubt it as parents know what they are doing is still harming themselves and do they want that for their kids? Some don't care already and kids keep quiet about it because they don't want to turn parents in.

I just watched this movie this weekend and have to say it is one of the best movies I have seen. The story was just amazingly well thought out and very sad. It kept going on with a nice flow and the ending left it up to mystery whether what the girl saw was real or not. Even though it is in Spanish, the subtitles are well done and you can easily forget you are actually reading subtitles because the actors are so good in it and the story is so vibrant. It is rated R and has a couple scenes in it that you can see why it gets the rating, but it's not too bad in gore other than those couple scenes which had reasons why they happened. I was really impressed with the movie though at first I was very surprised it was in Spanish.

I really loved this movie. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. I especially liked the end and the fact that some of the people from the actual event walked with the actors who portrayed them and the documentary was well done. I think it really depicted scenes very well and though a few things were changed, not many were by the Jewish survivor accounts who were there and on the list.

OOC: in the Anything Else section, there's a topic called 'Soku' which you can read up there if you want. And thanks for the translation of the name. I never would have got that in a million years ..well never.

    IC:

    "Sooooo...what are we waiting for...Christmas?"

"Oh man, I never told you! I saw Santa for real! Your dad so told you a lie. He's really real!" Sora had to bring this up because it was just the ultimate time for it...called he remembered it.

Riku blinked and looked at Sora. "Okay, no comment."

"When we leave here I am so going to prove it to you." Sora gave a curt affirming nod.

Riku laughed. "Sure thing, Sora." Riku had seen enough strange things to ponder the truth of it. Of course, if Sora was this insistent, he knew there must be some truth to it.

Well, making it illegal to drop out would be harsh as some kids really do have trouble in school the way it is set up. We need more studies into how to get kids educated and a possible reform of the educational system to make it more 'interesting' for students to partake in it. Also, there are variations in people with learning things and this isn't really taken into account. Our brains aren't all wired the same to learn the exact same way as everyone else. Things people consider 'learning disabilities' are often not so bad because if things are taught differently to some of those people, they grasp it. I did crappy in high school, doing As and then Cs in classes. However, when I finally got to college, I have been doing much better because the way things are taught is better, except for math, which is still boring.

There are problems though of trying to make the educational system better including issues of religion and some other things like parents aren't helping teachers and schools to ensure their children are actually getting disciplined when they are playing around. Too many parents show a zeal for supporting their kids and telling teachers they are biased etc. So, until things fix up in several areas, I really don't think it can be said that legally a kid at 16 years of age must stay in school. Would it keep troublemakers more off the streets? Perhaps it would. There are police that are meant to be out looking for kids who aren't in school to bring them back.

Also, some kids are just bad apples and schools can't really afford to have them in classes. Some schools have to expel children who are beating on others, bringing weapons to school or drugs etc. Maybe special schools are more needed for them but it is rather critical that something is done about those children too that aren't having their educations dealt with and can't be trusted to sit in regular schools. I see a lot of schools that really try to keep these kids in classes with regular children and the schools suffer a lot for it as does the morale for other kids who are stuck with someone giving them a hard time and teachers who have no clue what to do with them because the administration won't do something. So, as said, I think the education system really needs looked at and needs an overhaul because as it stands, any attempts to -force- children to stay in school past 16 otherwise is going to fail big time. This is why though that many schools teach GED programs later for kids that want to go back and move on, and adults that decide they've seen the light. It puts power to them to allow them to make up for the mistake of deciding to waltz out of school on some broken promise that didn't pan out.

It depends on what drug. Marijuana is not an addictive drug. However, if someone has a particularly addictive personality, then any drug can be addictive because they feel they need something to be addicted to. There is plenty of scientific proof to say that pot is actually not addictive, let alone the fact that people have tried it a few times and walked away from it just fine, not really craving it again, including myself.

This isn't to say I am telling people to try pot. It was a rather lame thing I did because others around me were and I figured if I was going to get the 2nd hand smoke any way, I might as well see what it was about. It doesn't make it right, but it was a life experience. I'm not really going to regret it. I've never sought though to do anything worse than that and don't even really drink much alcohol as I figure I really need to be getting my education and don't want to fail out like I see some other college students do by too much partying. Drugs in the end aren't worth the trouble they bring into people's lives.

Some down things I have noticed about pot is the attitude of lethargy that people seem to get as they use it for long durations. Now and then smokers of it aren't what I refer to. Those who smoke it on a regular basis tend to become lazy and rather worthless by my experience of seeing friends who got on it and did it for years. They weren't good workers and didn't seem to give a crap about many things. This was a change from being rather idealistic and motivated a few years ago. I do think it changes people's personalities and if you don't want to be like that, it's definitely something to consider before even doing it. Of course, I've seen people a plenty that have become addicted to alcohol that are about as useful as those who smoke pot on a regular basis.
