It was totally the Demyx pic. ^_^
You are also a girl and I should have known that. >.>
lol, whether in the spam zone or not, some people are bound to agree or disagree with what was said so he's just asking it to stay peaceful. no biggie.
Some people can seem very uptight at times but there are reasons. it really isn't that bad. The rules are pretty lenient and allow for room and the staff tends to give 3 warnings in most cases to things that are very annoying to people. We're not really that uptight. There are worse boards for that as others said.
You have a life after my patented EVIL GLARE??? -.- Stare and be amazed. 1) Ice Cream 2) Chocolate Chip 3) Very bored. 4) It's fawesome. 5) Black 6) Sea salt. 7) Chocolate Chip. 8) So Americans can't find it on a map. 10) No 11) What 10 character limit???? 12) No #9? proposterious! 13) One that looks like it was punched in the face. 14) Riku 15) uh...Saix? 16) Most of them. 17) I dunno, but somehow you pulled it off! 18) I'm not looking at numbers anymore. 19) Sure thing. 20) Qwerty! 21) Of course it is. It's dvORVaK. Just like that. 22) Why yes, I did, though adults considered it to be more 'mutilating' Barbies instead of playing with them. 23) KC and the Sunshine Band - Shake Your Booty. Ok that might not be it, but it's a darn jiggy song I am listening to at the moment. >.> 24) Nope 25) Sadly, I do. 26) Singing vegetables reminds me that you actually eat vegetables while they are still alive, unlike meat. It's a cruel world. 27) *runs over it with a car* 28) No, but this was. 29) molecule reflections make it blue of course. 30) Because my crayon colored it that way. 31) You spilled blueberry jam on it. 32) Blue. 33) Not as long as answering 42 questions. 34) Newp 35) In a good way. 36) I'm not falling for that. 37) No, but I have pondered how could he never step in something with those clodhoppers he wears. 38) Poo. 39) Kweh. 40) No one can ever take over the spam zone. Try again. 41) The answer is not clear. 42) Shake the 8 ball and ask again. *shake* I'm not falling for this again. >.> I think I am a combination of what happens when a mad accident in the lab mixes Beaker and Animal together. Of course, I respect you when you debate. You are one of the more awesomer people here (that's now a word) I consider you a friend here and even if we must argue, it keeps the mind witty and sharp for when I sneak up on you and jab you in the ankle with it.
We have sex offenders near where I live too and I'm not happy about it. I trust that person much less than I do someone who was in and out for possession of drugs. I can reach out to someone who had some trouble with the law but it's really hard to want to be around someone who did some sort of sexual violence act or went after children. I have no idea why they let these people back out to live amongst others and in areas where there are children or women that want the right to be able to go up and down their streets and not have to have a chaperon. Our obligations in this are just totally screwed up.
14 hours! Ah well, you can respond to people then before you take off. Have a safe joyous trip and get back to us in one piece!
You wouldn't be 'snatching' her from him if you told her you were interested in her. It is her decision if she'd want to go out with either of you or neither of you. You both like her and if you don't say anything, he may still not get to be with her so it's one of those things. You don't have to back away until you hear from her lips that she has no interest in you, okay? Friends might be sore for a bit but it comes down to this: She's not going with him right now either so you are both not doing anything wrong. I can understand being afraid of connecting to people because you have a great chance of losing them later but there's a better way to look at it. Think that if you don't get to know people and experience companionship etc, you will not have enjoyed the time you had with them and instead just be alone and bored. Life is a moving thing and people do indeed come and go. You can meet all sorts of people including some who feel as you do about protecting nature and making things better in the environment. You miss out though by not socializing and seeking these sorts out whether for friendship or for more and it will leave you feeling like all humanity but you and a select few others are just alone out there with your thoughts. It just isn't true right now. Many people are concerned about the environment and have been for several years. So, you kind of have a choice to make as to whether it's better to not have friendship and companionship because it may slip away or be rejected in some form or other...or if it's better to have the friendship and companionship while the going is good and to bid people farewell when it's their time or your time to move on. Both hurt. But it is part of life. At least with the second option you can say you had some good times in there so that's more where I try to lean. I know it's not for everyone but it does bring me peace once I accepted the point life doesn't stagnate and I shouldn't try to either.
Seckz with split. Hellz yeah. It was resuscitated! Because Lime/Lemon flavoring with carbonation doesn't replace milk! Milk and Oreos rule. Maybe if someone bought them for me and they were in black and red. Otherwise, newp. Of course there will be. In the year 2365. As much as some people will hate me, Sora. He's one of the first actual 'happy' heroes and though he can be a flake, I think he's cooler. Roxas is cool too, though. Both can poke your eyes out and be used as lethal weapons...I'd go with Sephiroth though..but Larxene's do look like antennae. Um...okay, Larxene's wins. Yeah, some rap is cool. Anything that is not just hate spawned trash I can listen to and enjoy. Not now. You guys asked a million questions already! I'd swim the 7 seas and sing 'Yo ho and a bottle of rum' for a Klondike bar. 42. It's the meaning of life. and yes, cookies are wonderful! It wasn't just awesome. It was divinely inspirational or it reminds me to step far away from you. >.> You do that...and you did! One...two...*crunch* Guess 2 sounds good. *nom nom nom* You've always come off to me, since meeting you, as someone fun and witty and kind of on the crazay side. You rux. ^_^
Again, take the words of advice. Stop thinking of yourself as ugly and get some self-confidence. Clean up some and have some pride. Maybe get some clothes that reflect a better more positive personality as well. There are people that are considered very attractive despite not looking like Brad Pitt. You just have to know how to carry what you have and not be an arrogant prick, but also not a whiner who says he's fugly all the time. Girls usually don't want someone who looks down on himself all the time and decides to shelter himself. Also, if you don't talk and do things with others much, people won't know you are interested in them and aren't going to be interested in you. Try to work on socializing. Even if this girl isn't going to happen for you, some other would if you just got yourself out of the negative aura you cast about yourself and try to be a bit more social. If you are interested in her, you should say so. If she says she's not interested in you, that's part of life. Rejection happens to us all and it's best to not emo over it for long. Seriously, she may be interested in you but as it sounds, it seems you isolate yourself and are in a state of angst and depression so she may barely know you. Show her a different side of you and try to develop one. We humans have many aspects to our personalities and it might help if you explore some others. Hope this helps. I'm not trying to insult you but give you some pointers. Good luck.
This is kind of exaggerated but it is also true. There are many people in jail for possession of drugs while for some reason there are people that are sex offenders and even murderers, people who also killed someone drinking and driving etc...that all get out sooner than those with drug possession. Also, it costs more than 25k a year to keep someone in jail. It costs around that or less to send a person to college if you think about it. Only high-end universities do cost that. Another point is these young people that end up in jail often meet contacts and will just keep a revolving door from being out to going back to jail repeatedly for drug possession and other less severe charges. So, yes, I do see a problem, especially for young black males in particular, but also for others who are in locations of poverty specifically and young adults. They live in some harsh areas and I've had to cope there too and watch friends even go to jail occasionally and it messed them up. It took a lot to try to help them stay out of going back to jail with all the demands the legal system puts on them to get a job etc when a lot of people are having trouble doing such. If they don't get work, they could go back to jail. Consider the fact that their criminal history is already marred so many employers won't take a chance on them because of the worry of theft or assault. It's screwed up. There is some prejudice by some people against black males mostly, but also there is prejudice against poor people in slum areas where the area is rough and they aren't actually targeting the ones making life horrible, but the people stuck in the environment that do 'some' things wrong but aren't the worst.
I definitely agree. I used to break glasses all the time on things like amusement park ventures. My mom used to get very frustrated with me because I love action and finally just gave in and got me contacts. It was probably her smartest move ever and the most economic. You'll get more used to them, Gamefreak. It just takes some time but after a week or two it should be natural to you and no more jabbing yourself in the eye hopefully. To stop the itching, make sure after you clean the contacts you really rinse them off well or get something like Opti-Free Express which lets you clean them and put them in your eye with the same solution.
Happy 21st Birthday! Don't go drinking too much now!
If you look just two threads below this one you'll find out the answer. They are being worked on but this is done in people's spare time so it takes a while. We just need to be patient. You can go on youtube and see the other RR videos that were subbed there.
We'll miss you! Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself. Sounds like you are going somewhere fun and will be wandering about. See you when you get back.
The translations from Japanese to English is why Xaldin, Xigbar and Lexaeus have different spellings of their names. Bleig = Braig Dilin = Dilan Eleus = Eleaus We just have to accept the change for what it was and know that they are actually indeed the same people.
Vampires and werewolves do have a lot of interesting things about them that draw people towards it. Vampires in modern fiction have that lure of being unable to age, immortal and bonded to a curse of existing, which of course at first doesn't seem such a bad thing to some of us who have fears of growing old etc. The only compromises are that you can't walk in sunlight and that you have an insatiable blood lust and must feed on the living. What a compromise! So yes, they hold intrigue in popular fiction and movies, as well as some RPGs. Werewolves are often depicted as beings of power and synergy with the earth, crazy in their way and yet also often are seen as long lived or just 'more than human' with some cool powers. It's like connecting to an inner beast, the side of people that is raging. They also hold a great lure for people to relate to. However, there's been really no proof of either even as some people claim to be vampires or werewolves and just sight that they can't change or be eternally young now because the blood lines are weak. Vampires have been heavily altered from what they once were, which is more like zombies in popular fiction and movies. Zombies themselves also were not as they are seen today and were more raised from the 'dead' to serve as mindless servants to the person who did a ritual to the person, leaving them buried for 1 to 3 nights. The legends etc have become rather scrambled as vampires became creatures of beauty that are tormented and yet sentient and mostly calm thinkers. As much as some people may wish they were real, we just have no evidence to prove such a thing and with how werewolves and vampires have legends now of several types that do not even coincide often with one another, for now I just have to call them fake and say that the legends grew out of some things that have happened to people that were unexplainable back in the past. There certainly isn't anything wrong though with reading the books, etc and thinking they are quite interesting, but they do seem to be entirely fictitious and perhaps so scary and yet intriguing because they are 'human monsters'. I've never classed ghosts as undead because they are bodiless. Usually most people only would class vampires and zombies as undead for the reason they are not forced out of their bodies and can walk amongst people rather freely, though there's obviously some conditions of their bodies that we have 'signs' they aren't one of 'us'.
The reason for the cloaks, as DiZ said when giving Riku his was because the cloaks would for one thing mask the two from the Organization, because the Organization may look for them. It was to wrap themselves up in something that would also protect them from Darkness, which even the Nobodies used the cloaks for. The ways that Riku and King Mickey were traveling was dangerous and it would help them to avoid detection by the Organization and also from falling to Darkness. King Mickey took off the cloak once angry and gave up his position of secrecy. He was essentially done with investigating what he could find on the Organization at that point. I think a lot of us, including me at first, were confused on how a mouse with big ears was going to spy on the Org, but if they obviously had 'seen' him then he would have been recognized as he was. Riku would have been harder to tell about but also discernible as an outsider if spotted in some regions where he shouldn't be. All in all the Org cloaks had the function and it seemed to have worked for both of them so they could maneuver about. As for why Donald and Goofy accused Riku of being in the Organization...he never took down his hood until they arrived at TWTNW and was elusive to even being out front to what he was even doing to Sora and the gang. I think they were just exclaiming shock and worry because Riku had been doing things on his own and no one was sure, other than King Mickey, what his agenda was.
I understand what you mean but those 'wizards' of the past were alchemists and sleight of hand sorts, blending stuff together and it was a root form of early chemistry and also creating poltices, drug blends etc. Also finding out some rocks could kill a person because they are radioactive. Poisoning was popular, and some even used gunpowder for tricks or blending liquids to cause smoke or fires etc. There is no proof at all that magic as you describe with sorcery ever existed at all in science. I could do the exact same things these 'wizards' of the past did. In the end, I'm pretty sure these sorcerers you are describing were probably the early scientists and doctors of that time. Also, they were our stage magicians and once people figured out how some tricks worked, of course they had to up their game. Now, ghosts are a bit different. There is some scientific research involved with examining the phenomenon of spirits and the energy they exhibit, etc. I don't really consider ghosts magic though but more a paranormal thing that we are checking out as can be done, along with other mysteries like lights that show up in the sky for no reason we know of or some creature lore that gets studied because people say they've seen them. I'm not sure even how ghosts equate to magic, let alone things like bigfoot, yeti, etc. Science does take ganders for evidence of them and what they do but this seems quite separate to me from 'magic'. Part of what makes science what it is would be taking old claims and investigating them. Black and white magic such as with voodoo and old practices of occult have been studied by science. However, no one can seem to do the deeds they claim when watched. Also, as I said earlier, some tests conducted proved that unless another person knows he/she is cursed, nothing bad seems to happen and it could very well be that people lead themselves to misfortune because they believe in it so much. The same goes for those who claim to heal people and are using healing hands sorts of tricks. There is also a lot of drug use involved in supposed magic that causes people to hallucinate or to have symptoms etc of either getting better or worse. This is what science has uncovered so far and I've actually read up and partaken in some examinations involved about it. When you can explain things, they no longer are magic. It has an answer. Things like how elements work, we can study on molecular level even. We can see how power is generated, how friction causes heat, how the movement of molecules being slowed causes cold, how compacting molecules of various sorts gives us 'solids' etc. These were things that were not known in the past. Some people in a way figured a few things out and called them magic, guarding their secrets but really, it was the beginning of understanding how things work. People truly seem to despise science but in essence those who don't miss out and call anything unusual as magic. I'm sure in time we will understand more of the human mind and energies we don't all comprehend and these too will be a part of something ordinary people can grasp and mess with in more profound ways than some do now. The point though is to take out the hocus pocus mumbo jumbo garbage and get to the root of why something is not known and examine it without the extra decorations. I am curious though what 'magic' you are saying scientists have examined and proven exists because if science says something actually exists, it really is no longer magic, but is examinable and fathomable. Could you give us some examples?
Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel.
