Sadly, I found Olette to have more personality than either Kairi or Namine. Also, I didn't see that Kairi had no flaws at all. I mean seriously, she could have just told Sora she wanted to go out with him instead of having the boys keep competing for her attention etc. Riku obviously figured it out which is why he was trying to get Sora to make a move and was joking with him, but really Riku shouldn't have had to do that and it probably upset him a bit which is why later when he was corrupted with Darkness he said some of the awful things he did. Kairi was made -too delicate- where apparently she was waiting for her 'man' to take notice that he had probably already won. Sora is not the most perceptive and shows some jealousy about Riku's comment that Kairi inspired him to want to leave etc. Then Kairi in KH tells Sora they should just take the raft -RIKU BUILT- and head off together without him because Riku had changed. Now if Riku had told her something that scared her, why didn't she talk to Riku more or tell Sora so that they could work things out? She really didn't seem to be that much of a friend to Riku and it is stated that Riku did most of the work on the raft in CoM. So why steal what he worked hard to make and run off? So to me, she did have some flaws and Namine showed the same ones when she was dealing with Repliku and Sora. She messed up Repliku bad and couldn't fix it, broke his heart, and then didn't even apologize to him when Sora was trying to see if he could get Repliku to stay. She only seemed to care about Sora and then immediately she's liking Roxas who is another part of Sora. She also tried to make like Riku was using her in the novel but he was not and she had plans to help Sora all along. Both acted like all that mattered to them was one person, though Kairi at two points did actually show she cared about Riku somewhat. In KH she does say she wants to go with Sora to find Riku after Hollow Bastion and then in KH2, she tells Sora that 'Ansem' is Riku so he'd go over and convince him to stay. That's about her only saving grace. So the Princess of Heart thing seemed kind of overdone and Kairi was made flimsy but with just a heart and obviously physical attraction to Sora. Namine had the same connection. Riku did kind of get treated less than well by both of them when he seemed to be the one that actually knew what was going on and let go of his 'options with Kairi' at least in the beginning of KH. So to me, those were the flaws of Kairi and Namine and Kairi wasn't as perfect as Nomura possibly wanted to paint her and all she turned into was the damsel in distress who was very weak until KH2 where she shows some spine. Women often in Square games get painted so badly and I do hope at least maybe Aqua might have more of a personality and not just slide into the typical white mage role that Kairi fills. I also still have a shred of hope Kairi will be better too if she keeps on the path she was headed on in KH2. It would be nice though to see more of Kairi and Riku because they are both 2 main characters and yet you have to look to find what they do too often. They deserve some center stage time so we can even evaluate if we care about Kairi or if she's just a hot red head that is another pure healer girl in a skimpy outfit of Square design that is a love interest for the main character to do some stupid things over. No main character deserves that.
These questions have been brought up a ton of times. Riku has no Nobody as he never lost his actual body. It was taken over by Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) but his Heart was never taken and his body was technically not lost. Ansem required the body to do physical things so it could not be destroyed and Riku's mental spirit went to Darkness but it was never devoured and he endured there and met up with King Mickey. And the Axel and Reno thing is also improbable. Nomura said he wanted to model Axel off of Reno. That is as far as the similarities go, other than having the same voice actor. Axel also would not fit the motif of the Org Nobodies if his 'somebody' had been Reno. His name would have been Reno mixed up with an X. It's been stated as well by Nomura that Axel is not Reno's Nobody, but the character concept was modeled off of Reno. Axel is also definitely not Riku, for the reasons stated above and also Yen Sid's account that Nobodies resemble their former Somebodies but with slight alterations to their physical forms. Axel and Riku look nothing alike, save for how tall Axel is and Riku is tall. Their bodies etc are nowhere near similar.

Are there any woods or private areas near where you live? Somewhere you can go to be alone and think? Do you have a back yard that is quiet at all? Sometimes other people around always there can get on anyone's nerves and make people stress out because there is no private time. If you can find a place that's quiet, maybe take a book or something and go there but let someone know where you are in case they need you. You may have to take a few trips to feel your calm return but it might help if you can just get away for at least bits at a time. And how are you today, Hippie? Doing any better? I do see your point on the nastiness of drugs like meth and heroin. Really, I wish they'd up and disappear but meth has grown so popular I know quite a few people that take it and I've seen it at parties, which is one reason I don't go to many college parties now. Heroin is really bad too and I've had people I've known die or really suffer from that drug, as well as crack cocaine. The problem really does come down to the fact that despite every effort, these most harmful drugs won't go away with the drug war as it currently stands and there are lesser drugs that aren't so bad and plants etc that could be legal but just aren't and people would get bored of them. If the war was more focused on things like meth, heroin and crack cocaine, instead of the lesser drugs out there, well, it may even be more effective. But because we waste our time with other things in which some people haven't even heard of, it's just lame. Some people are just going to try to get 'high' no matter what. They like to think a substance can take away their inhibitions, fears, anxieties, strife etc is just wonderful. Heck, people do it all the time with alcohol. I just think that the war on drugs has mainly failed because we took on more than we can chew making some drugs that are minor into much bigger deals so that people are almost afraid and ashamed to do anything to help themselves and others they care about. Also groups like DARE in school have seriously lied to kids so when they come face to face with drugs they are terrified till someone talks with a soothing voice and says 'oh I've smoked pot for years and I'm still obviously alive and can think straight'. People need the truth and we need to stop playing around. Most possession arrests are for pot. It's rather pointless. In the end, I just am not convinced that instead of wasting our money on this stupid crap we should instead be working on better rehabilitation because 12 step program sucks, and people can get dependent on a variety of things and I think this dependency not only happens from drugs but from a sort of disorder often. We need to examine more into this to help people who get addicted and ruin their lives; not replace one addiction with another as the 12 step program does. There are just more responsible ways to get rid of the problem. I do agree that letting the harsher drugs that can potentially kill someone be legal is harsh but at this point if they are going to have such easy access to it any way because lesser drugs are such a big concern, well it might as well all be legal because it definitely can't get worse than it is currently. Maybe though the compromise is to just go after drugs that are known killers like this and stop the illegal banning of others that are no more harmful than alcohol or cigs. Absinthe is another thing that was illegal for some time and was like pot in that you could still get it wherever any way. I just see no reason to trash people's lives over something that won't kill you. I do have a problem with meth, heroin and some other things like that so making those legal is kind of fuzzy. I am about 50/50 on whether I think those should be legal or not.
Look, at this point these people here are trying to help you have some commonsense and rationality. You don't have any reason to get mad at them for concern about you. Matter-a-fact, why are you not more grateful that some people actually care and hate to see you do the most stupid thing you could possibly do to yourself? If you are angry, which no doubts you are, then why don't you tell us the source of the anger instead of getting mad at those trying to assist you? If you cannot, that's fine, but then there is nothing anyone can do for you and so if you won't let us help, why are you telling us that you are going to kill yourself? So we all know and you leave your mark? Come on, man! Think here. You have people here willing to listen to whatever but all you keep saying is you are going to do it no matter what and won't let us in. It's up to you what you do because we of course have absolutely NO POWER to come over there and sit down with you and get to the root of things. Please try to close your eyes, breathe in and breathe out slowly and let some tension go. This is not worth it and we're hoping you'll come to see that. Broken records or not, people care. Don't just shut us out and leave us powerless to this. You aren't feeling well at all. We don't know the reasons why. We don't have to when we say just don't do it. It's literally all we can say now. I'm not sure I agree that we are 'mostly' stable. With radical groups popping up of both Christian and Islamic violence groups (mind you I am not saying all Christians or Muslims etc), backwater thinking and regulations regarding that we should let others protect us instead of moving on with things when they could have said something before 9/11...I just don't think we are so stable. I do feel there is a lot of fascism spreading around where people can say things like 'Atheists should not be considered citizens of the U.S.' and these are leaders that say this such as Bush. When people can say remarks like during what was said in the elections for primaries and when fascists can run for office and still hang around lurking for VP slots...it's just scary. The Constitution was made the way it was for a reason and when Huckabee said he wanted to put 'God' into it in a speech he made in the primaries, that is also fascism. Hitler did the same sorts of things in Germany, restructuring their government and base platforms. We've slowly been letting fascists of both corps and religions take over key spots in politics and it is kind of troublesome. I do think if we vote right, we may be able to fix some of this fascism that wants people to wear a pin instead of showing by actions support for the country. We have work but people really do need to get involved and despite how boring it can be, know what's going on. Politicians -hope- we don't pay attention much so they can get away with things that they've been doing. I think in the upcoming years if we just let people make our choices for us for much more, we are going to be a different country indeed.

I did too and wrote a longer response there after scrolling through it all. Any way, just as people are suggesting, even if you just talk to a pet or the wall and have a good cry, don't give up on life. The bad stuff will pass. Don't let this build up and let it out somehow in a less dire way.
Ok well the point with meth is that you don't make it to sell but it becomes 'legal'. Then people can keep making the crap but with other safer drugs being legal, most people would go to those instead. Meth is totally brought about BECAUSE it is easy to make and less likely to be found. Anyone can do it. There are several labs for it all over the country. Less people would actually want to take heroin and it is not that popular a drug since you have to inject yourself and most people aren't so hot for needles. I doubt the numbers for heroin abuse would rise anymore. And I have no idea who keeps spreading the lie that pot is addictive because it is one of the least addictive drugs around. People can go months or years between smoking a joint even after having had pot for weeks etc. Scientific studies have shown it is not near as addictive as tobacco or even alcohol. I have yet to see a serious scientific study on the addictiveness of pot as being a major thing in recent years where there are less lies on what drugs actually do to people. Meth is addicting but the withdrawal symptoms are not on par with something like heroin. People -can- quit Meth just as they can quit cigarettes and there's some suffering but it's not that extreme to need actual medical care. In the end, as I said, the drugs are all out there and easy to get. You don't know it because you don't know the people. It's all about connections to people and there's a whole system out there no matter where you live. I know of -no place- that is drug free, regardless of the way of life in the area. Drugs are bad and rotten but people want them. Part of the lure is that they are illegal and yet everyone knows your chances of being caught are so slim. If I had a kid on drugs I'd want to know I could take him/her to rehabilitation, no questions asked and not be investigated for drugs myself, not be humiliated, have the kid pulled out of school etc. I would just want the kid helped. Why does that not make sense? More power to the people to get the help they need and the medical care etc. If I have a friend on drugs, I'd rather not hide the fact from a family or from others because I don't want that friend to go to jail. Instead I have to go through this route of begging the friend to stop and trying to do rehab help so that he/she can't go to or else he/she loses his/her job. I have to when the person is bad enough take him/her to a rehab place or report hiim/her to the police because I feel the person is a danger. Either way, the person gets a criminal record. Why? A true friend would want to help the friend and get the friend to rehab and make sure that person has a life to come back to and that his/her car and house weren't sold off in an auction and after rehab the person doesn't have to spend time in jail or go to court to even have it waived. The point here is that it makes sense to have better help because there is NO way to stop the drugs coming in and why not put the help in more control and families in more control, loved ones in more control instead of having a corrupt drug ring, mafia and corrupt police in control? Police should be able to be called to help if someone is Od'ing, if someone is abusive and being a moron, if someone is doing drugs and driving or reckless behavior. They should not have to be called because someone is an addict and a friend or family member wants to get that person assistance. It's a helluva lot harder to convince people that they need help if they also have to go through the court system on top of dealing with rehabilitation. It just is wrong and pointless.
I think we'd be able to help you more if you actually told us what is so wrong that you would ponder killing yourself over. It's very hard to discern anything from what you are saying here and perhaps talking about it would help clear your mind, get it off your chest, and let us help you, since it does seem you are here asking for assistance and maybe don't really want to do such a brash thing as take your life. We are here to help you if you give us a go at it, but you can only get so much support if we have nothing to go off of. We can basically only keep saying things like 'don't do that'. 'life is worth living' ..'you will be missed' etc but in the end, we aren't able to help you resolve some of the actual symptoms that are leading up to the disease of wanting to commit suicide. I hope you get what I mean because it is kind of serious and limiting your power over this and ours too. We aren't going to use anything against you and just want to see you get back up on your feet and not be so down that you'd consider taking away your life. It's hard to trust people, especially if you've been screwed over lately, but give us a shot. The reason to not just go off and kill yourself is because the act is stupid. It isn't a brave thing to do. It is escapism and it's obviously not your time to go or you would have died by some other thing. There are some crappy things that happen in life, but it all isn't that way. In the end, you just have to learn to accept that there is suffering in life and it is just going to be that way. Accept it and then look for the better things and stop focusing on the negative that's just going to keep going on regardless. It is definitely not all there is out there. Look at how many people here are trying to reach out and give you a hand. Some of us have also thought of suicide at points in our lives but it really is not the answer. Things in life change and by focusing on all this desire to kill yourself and get out of life, you are pausing events that could change you and make you feel better about yourself. Don't let yourself give in to such things. Hang in there and if you want to talk, we're here for you and if you want to talk in PM, feel free. Just don't you do anything to yourself. You would seem to know it's wrong because you are here talking about it.

Hippie Jesus, can I ask exactly why you'd ponder committing suicide? What reasons do you have for wanting to give up on life? In the end, suicide really is a permanent fix to a temporary problem. It's not the way to go and I hope you will hang in there. I was going to post in the Help with Life area but saw this here and see it is becoming more serious.
