It's like this, people are brought up with the idea that a man marries a woman and have children etc. Children only see pictures of men kissing women. So when they get older they aren't used to gay relationships. So people are going to find it weird, even I find it weird and I like to think I have a very open mind and have nothing against gay people or gay marriage. It's just the way society has gone it hasn't become normal, so people aren't used to it. I doubt this makes any sense.

I don't like judging people by appearance, ie. I'd like to get to know them before deciding whether or not I like them or not. I suppose I forgive you, even though I think I only caught the tail end of it. I doubt there are many people on this forum that would hold a grudge for long, we aren't that kind of people (I think :o). As long as you are sorry publicaly and mean it, it's fine by me.

I think that people should keep their individual native languages, certainly. It's what keeps live lively and interesting. But I also think that a secondary universal language would be essential to ensure that everyone can understand each other. Sure we already have music, science and maths. They are pretty much universal.
I'm all for gay marriage. But I can see where opponents and critics are coming from. A 'marriage' is a holy union through God, technically (Although I'm not sure, I tend to get things like this wrong ><). So maybe they are just peeved at it being called marriage. I don't see the point in hanging on to things like the Bible, well some parts of it anyway. As was said by Cin, religion is holding society back from becoming much better than it is now.
Btw, I was joking about being a fanboy several pages back. I may think that YRP are good looking but they are no substitute for real life relationships. I just felt everyone was being very sexist and not mentioning fanboys.
