In the UK we have quite a large illegal (and legal) immigration problem. Apparantly we became too popular for our own good. Now the NHS is at breaking point, the jails are overflowing and there is a housing shortage. But, as White_Rook said, the jobs 'problem' isn't one to complain about. They work for less, are prepared to do jobs we aren't prepared to do and are often better skilled. I find it quite nice to think that people in other countries find the Uk so attractive.

But one thing I can't stand is free-loaders. People who come over and rely on state benefits, especially when they come over illegally. Although I have the same problem with people who were born in the UK free-loading.........

About destroying the planet, we didn't do that on purpose. Factories and cars weren't built for the sole purpose of polluting the land, sea, and sky. They were created as part of the Industrial Revolution. Back then through ignorance we couldn't see the effect we were having on the planet. Now that we do see it we are doing things to try and fix it. I fail to see how that is evil.

Also, comparing us to animals is strange. We have sentience (sp?) therefore, most of time, we aren't acting off of basic instincts like animals. Therefore, we have the choice, we can think about the ethical and moral implications of our actions. Animals do not have this choice. Ugh, my mind always blanks half way through posts, I may have more later.............

Ah yes the Grandparent paradox, going back in time and killing your grandparent, destroying your line stopping you from existing. But you would then no longer exist to go back in time to kill said person, therefore they wouldn't die so you would exist.

Also, technically anything that has been changed in the past by somone in the future has already been done as it is already part of the past. And anyway, changing things in the past is far too unpredictable, there would be no way of telling what the consequences would be of preventing something from happening or causing something else to happen.

I have never heard of Guano Apes and everyone of Linkin Parks songs that I've heard (30 songs in my iTunes). So IMO there is no validity in this statement, but everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, I have nothing against that.
