This may sound REALLY evil, but sometimes I wish there was another terrorist attack or something, just to have something to talk about. I am bored 24/7 nowadays, even KH-Vids gets boring sometimes, espcially during the day. I think the main problem is that at around 16 all of the younger stuff you don't do anymore because it is too young, but you aren't old enough to do the older stuff yet. So you left with a frustrating nagging boredom ><

A calculator, like any computer, is a series of on off switches. This is where binary comes from. Yes and no, black and white etc. So it gets the numbers and runs checks on them, millions of calculations a second, until it gets an answer. Then a current is passed through the Liquid Crystal display showing darker patches which display the answer. :) Detailed enough for ya? And that was all off of the top of my head btw.

There was a program on called Animal Farm, and they had things like featherless chickens, cows turned into anit-body factories, goats that produce spider silk instead of milk, pigs that glow in the dark and that can digest phosporus and they cloned a championship winning horse for the owner. As with a lot of science it is very useful but a line has to be drawn somewhere, because somethings just shouldn't be meddled with. But I'm not going to comment on where that line should be drawn, we'll just have to wait and see.
